A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Portia (Brooke Kerr) if something had happened to Marshall (Robert Gossett) he’d never have the chance to get to know him. At The Metro Court, Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) told Leo about their vow renewal ceremony and how Ned wanted to adopt him. When Leo said he already had a father, Ned told the little boy although Julian was his biological father he wanted to make him a part of his family. Also at The Metro Court, Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) came up to Austin at the bar wanting to hear about what’s going on between him and Maxie (Kristen Storms). Maxie came to see Louise. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) explained how the baby was having trouble sleeping in a new place. Maxie went upstairs and tried to get her daughter to stop crying. But it was Brook Lynn who was able to soothe the baby. Maxie cried to Chase (Josh Swickward) how her daughter didn’t even know her and lamented on all the milestones she was missing. She showed him Louise’ sonogram. Chase assured Peter would pay for his crimes and then she could be reunited with her daughter. Britt told Austin about her and Maxie’s plan to fake Louise’s death in order to hide her from Peter (Wes Ramsey). Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) approached Victor (Charles Shaugnessey) at the bar at Charlie’s. Victor told Valentin seeing him working with Austin to get revenge on Brook Lynn means he didn’t need his help. When Valentin went to pay the tab, he pulled out the photo of Bailey’s sonogram he kept in his wallet. Victor turned it over and noticed the Patient ID information. He offered to hold on to it for Valentin. Ned invited Austin to the wedding renewal ceremony but Dr. Gatlin-Holt declined the invitation. Sonny (Maurice Benard) promised to do anything to ensure Carly (Laura Wright) of his love for her…unless her feelings for him have changed. Carly told Sonny she still loved him and believed he loved her. But he also had feelings for Nina (Cynthia Watros) and she didn’t want to be with him while he worked through his feelings for another woman. Laura (Genie Francis) was surprised by the appearance of Jennifer Smith (Holly Ganier), explaining to Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) how Luke (Anthony Geary) was married to mobster Frank Smith’s daughter for a hot minute before it was annulled. She asked her grandson to leave so she could speak with Ms. Smith alone. Jennifer inquired why she didn’t know about the memorial service (because she wasn’t invited). Jennifer apologized for all the trouble she caused, telling Laura it was because she was comfortable with who she was. When Sonny entered, he didn’t care to hear anything of what Jennifer had to say and offered her the use of his private plane so she could leave sooner. Laura was concerned because Sonny was acting strangely (Due to having thrown out his lithium and failure of getting his prescription refilled). Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was waiting when Carly returned to her suite at The Metro Court. She offered her mother her support, understanding why Carly moved out and said she was also angry with Sonny. Maxie bumped into Victor at Charlie’s. And when the contents of her purse spilled out on the floor, Victor saw the sonogram photo. Portia thought Marshall was being pushy when he showed up at The Savoy. But Curtis said he asked his dad to come. Jennifer Smith spoke with an unseen person and said Sonny didn’t appear interested in taking over the West Coast territory. After Portia left, Marshall warned Curtis his club is the sort of place that would attract the criminal element. Just then Sonny arrived and announced to Curtis “I want your club.”

Tuesday

“What do we have here?” Victor said picking up the sonogram photo that fell out when the contains of Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) spilled on the floor. Esme (Avery Kristen Storms) wasn’t happy when Cameron (William Lipton) told her Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) was inside cozying up to Trina (Sydney Mikayla), who were talking about the upcoming trip to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) cabin. Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came downstairs to The Metro Court where Joss wanted French Onion soup. “I just want your club and I’m not leaving until I get it, ” Sonny announced to Curtis (Donnell Turner). Victor questioned Maxie about the sonogram photo. She said it was all she had left of her daughter. Maxie told Victor if he wanted to help her he’d kill Peter (Wes Ramsey), though Maxie really didn’t want any help from him. At Charlie’s, Sam (Kelly Monaco) commented to Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) how their mother’s life was coming together. Harmony (Inga Candranel) found Alexis (Nancy Grahan) hard at work at The Invader. Alexis commented how Sean (Sean Blakemore) wasn’t her only supporter…she had Harmony. Carly told Josslyn she was staying at The Metro Court because Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) needed to be with Sonny. Curtis told Sonny his club wasn’t for sale. Sonny clarified he didn’t want to buy The Savoy, he wanted to rent it for the night to show Carly a good time. Nina (Cynthia Watros) watched as Sonny became agitated when Curtis turned down his offer. Trina told Spencer when he worked for her she planned to be tough on him but fair. Esme told Cameron she wasn’t worried about Spence and Trina. “I know for a fact that Spence isn’t the one Trina wants.” Drew (Cameron Mathison) offered his help to Sonny, reminding he was his friend. Sonny told Drew that Jason (Steve Burton) was his friend when Drew was a pale comparison of a brother who was only worth something when he thought he was Jason. Nina asked Sonny to come with her before he was picked up by the police. Carly told Josslyn she didn’t want her to lose her close relationship with Sonny. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Maxie about Helena’s (Constance Towers) recorded appearance at Luke’s (Anthony Geary) memorial. Kristina didn’t appreciate Sam’s interference on her behalf by telling Harmony to stay away from their mother. Harmony gave Alexis the gift she brought to celebrate the new chapter in Ms. Davis’ life then suggested they go out for a coffee. But Alexis said a friendship between them wouldn’t work…at least not now. Britt (Kelly Theibauld) told Austin (Roger Howarth) about her parents while Austin said he took Leo’s case so personally because his brother was on the spectrum. Curtis told Marshall he was going to ask for Sonny’s help with his problem. But Marshall didn’t want Curtis beholden to Sonny Corinthos. Nina came back home with Sonny but he ordered her to leave. Cameron assured he and Trina just flirted with each other a little when they were in high school but they were better meant as friends. Spencer told Trina he felt like a coward for admitting how scared he was going to prison. He added he wished he could go back to being Victor. But Trina said Spencer was starting to grow on her. Carly told Josslyn she contacted the management company and arranged for the cabin to be fully stocked for their arrival. Nina asked Sonny whether he was off his medication. She said she trusted him with her life. “It’s the bipolar I don’t trust.” Sonny assured he had things under control. Nina told Sonny she’d call Carly who would know how to handle him. “So you have to make a choice…it’s either me or Carly.” Carly asked her daughter whether Josslyn had contraceptives. Kristina told Sam she knows Harmony was trying to turn her life around. She reminded Sam she can look out for herself. Alexis told Harmony she had to put her children first. Harmony commented how she didn’t expect to get a friend out of wanting to make amends for her mistakes. Britt encouraged Austin to use his brother’s case to teach but he could keep his identity confidential. Victor interrupted to ask Austin about a sonogram. Felicia told Maxie that Lucy (Lynn Herring) had a feeling their trip back to the cabin was the first step in bringing Louise home. Victor lied he found the sonogram photo and wanted to return it back to its rightful owner. Austin told him the information he needed was the Patient ID number on the back. He offered to take it to GH and run the number through the computer. Victor said that wasn’t necessary…he wanted to see this through himself, adding it’s a pity when a baby ends up with the wrong mother.

Wednesday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) was surprised when she woke up on the coach at the Corinthos house and called out for Sonny (Maurice Benard). “Namaste” Ava (Maura West) greeted Carly (Laura Wright) who was trying to find her center while doing yoga. Anna (Finola Hughes) assured Maxie (Kristen Storms) being back where she lost Louise may help her remember something about that night. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) taunted Peter (Wes Ramsey) about his return to Pentonville. It was awkward for Chase (Josh Swickward) when Martin (Michael E. Knight) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) entered Kelly’s. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl), Trina (Sydney Mikayla), Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) arrived at the cabin and said they’d hit the slopes once they unpacked the car. Sonny returned surprised that Nina was still there. He told Nina he was out shoveling snow to clear a path to the treehouse for Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna. Nina worried because Sonny hadn’t eaten or slept. A nurse at the desk offered to help Victor (Charles Shaugnessey) find the owner of the sonogram. Valentin took a peek at Bailey and commented how she’s grown since the last time he’d seen her. Maxie retraced her steps the night Louise was born remembering how she met Austin (Roger Howarth). Britt told Peter she signed off on his release and he’ll be returning back to Pentonville tomorrow, despite his fake back pain claim. Josslyn told Cameron she was ready and wanted her first time to be with him. Ava got angry when Carly said Avery and Donna had a sleepover with their grandma Bobbie (Jackie Zeman). Ava reminded Bobbie wasn’t Avery’s grandmother because Carly wasn’t Avery’s mother, adding if she needed someone to look after Avery, didn’t Carly think about her mother? Carly commented that if Ava wasn’t so self absorbed she’d realize Bobbie needed a distraction after Luke’s (Anthony Geary) memorial. Nina called Britt and told her about Sonny’s manic episode and asked for medical advice. Britt encouraged Nina to keep Sonny calm and try to get him to GH. Austin remembered another person being there and Maxie speaking with this person in a conversational tone. After Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) stood up for Carly, Ava left saying that taking that class was a mistake. Carly told Brook Lynn she was staying at The Metro Court. Britt caught Victor trying to look at the computer when the nurse walked away. He lied he was trying to find out information about Peter August. When he asked how she was doing due to her Huntington’s, Britt denied having the deadly disease and ordered him to stay away from her and her mother. Sonny grabbed her wrist but got upset when Nina said he was hurting her. Sonny told her he didn’t hurt women and agreed to let her take him to GH. Valentin questioned Chase when Martin confirmed he was still listed as Bailey’s father on the birth certificate. Martin verified the procedure to change the father was simple paperwork filed with County Records where all Brook Lynn needed was providing proof of paternity. Valentin commented that maybe the proof didn’t exist. Sonny apologized again to Nina for hurting her. Valentin told Martin he shouldn’t have taken Chase’s word he had a paternity test proving he was Bailey’s father as a man like Detective Chase wouldn’t want another man’s name on his daughter’s birth certificate. After Anna and Felicia left them alone, Austin asked Maxie who she was talking to that night. Victor came to Peter’s hospital room and told him he’s lived up to his part of their bargain. Ava called Avery. Nina arrived at the yoga class and said she had something to tell Carly.

Thursday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) assured Carly (Laura Wright) she came for class and didn’t seek her out but Carly needed to hear her out. “It’s about Sonny.” Monica (Leslie Charleson) ran into Sonny (Maurice Benard) at the elevator at GH and asked whether he was okay. She expressed concern he could have been self medicating. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) made hot chocolate and made a point to hand Trina (Sydney Mikayla) the cup where she put a drug inside. “Thanks Esme, appreciate it.” “Glad I can be of help.” At Kelly’s, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asked Martin (Michael E. Knight) why Maxie (Kristen Storms) would be invested in Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) baby. He realized it was because Brook Lynn is not Bailey’s mother. Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) told Peter (Wes Ramsey) how Louise has been hidden in plain sight at the Quartermaines as Bailey. He explained about the sonogram and how he confirmed Maxie and Brook Lynn’s sonogram’s weren’t mixed up. He checked hospitals for miles around and Brook Lynn never had prenatal treatment. Peter was furious with Maxie’s deception. He’d hoped to bring their daughter back to her to remind her of the reason she fell in love with him first. He vowed Maxie would pay! Maxie insisted Austin (Roger Howarh) was mistaken on what he thought he heard. To keep him from pursuing the idea, she kissed him. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) arrived for yoga class and interrupted Nina and Carly. After Nina left, Carly encouraged Sasha to speak with someone about her grief over losing Liam. Brando shared with Sonny how he felt Sasha was handling her grief over Liam better than he was. Sonny suggested therapy like Brando did for his PTSD. Peter warned Victor if he didn’t help him escape before he was sent back to Pentonville he wouldn’t tell him what he needed to activate Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) trigger and take the information back to prison with him. Valentin warned Martin not to cross him and tell Peter what he told him about Bailey being Louise then texted Uri to see whether he had any information to corroborate his theory. Esme drugging Trina’s hot chocolate led to a revealing game of Never Have I Ever in which Trina admitted she missed the days when it was just the three of them before Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) became a couple. She said she felt sick and rushed out the room. Josslyn went to check on her friend and blamed Esme’s manipulations. She confronted Esme saying she only tolerated her because Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) thought he was in love with her. Josslyn called Esme a bitch. At GH, Valentin asked Monica about Bailey and learned from her how Monica was concerned about Maxie’s reaction when around Bailey was almost maternal. Victor overheard Valentin requesting Bailey’s medical records as her father.

Friday

At GH, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) walked in on Chase (Josh Swickward) getting dressed after being examined for a physical. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) called Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) a bitch who wanted to embarrass Trina (Sydney Mikayla) because she was jealous of her friendship with Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). Esme stormed out of the room. Spencer reminded Cameron and Josslyn how hard it was for Esme because none of his friends trusted her. At Charlie’s, Curtis told his Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) that Marshall (Temporarily being played by Damian Leak) told him everything. “He did what?!” exclaimed Stella. Curtis told Stella about Marshall’s involvement with those in organized crime and having to go into witness protection. Curtis was worried getting close to Marshall could put him in danger. Marshall joined Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) at Kelly’s. He gave her a plant and asked whether he had another chance with her. Epiphany told Marshall she was wrong for questioning the doctor’s diagnosis. At The Bistro, Laura (Genie Francis) questioned Martin (Michael E. Knight) about representing Peter August (Wes Ramsey). He reminded even someone like Peter August was entitled to due process. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told Peter he was being transferred back to Pentonville today. Peter said he was confident he’d beat the charges and would do something the PCPD couldn’t do which was find his daughter, hinting he had some untapped resources. Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) asked Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) whether Brook Lynn could be hiding something which is why she hasn’t taken his name off as Bailey’s father off her birth certificate. He urged Valentin to unburden himself if something was bothering him. Leaving the examination room, Chase and Brook Lynn ran into Peter, who looked at his daughter and commenced how much she looked like her mother. Esme announces she ordered a car and was leaving. She told Spencer they could send for their things. The nurse handed Valentin his daughter’s file and asked whether there was anything he was looking for specifically. Valentin asked whether he could meet with him later at the PC Grill. After Victor left, Valentin learned the file didn’t have a sonogram photo and that Bailey’s blood type was O+ (Valentin’s blood type is O-). Martin told Peter he couldn’t represent him. He was surprised when August readily accepted Grey recusing himself. Martin said he’d return the retainer to help ease his conscience. Brook Lynn worried with the way Peter smiled at Bailey he knew the truth. She covered when Laura asked what she was worried about Peter knowing. Josslyn was glad Esme and Spencer left. She told Cameron she liked they were alone (Trina was sleeping off the effects of the alcohol). Marshall arrived at Charlie’s. Spencer asked Esme whether Josslyn was right about her planning the cabin getaway to cause friction between him and his friends. Esme thought about when she set up a cell phone camera in Cameron and Josslyn’s room. Cam and Joss made love for the first time unaware they were being taped. Laura came to Peter’s hospital room and asked why he didn’t give Martin any pushback over dropping him as a client. Peter smirked he had faith everything would work out for the best. Victor’s henchman chloroformed Valentin. “Be careful…that’s my son. Cancel my dinner reservation” Victor ordered as Valentin was put into the trunk of a car.
