A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was excited when Michael (Chad Duell) told her he planned a trip for them to Paris. Carly (Laura Wright) watched through the window and smiled. Leo questioned Sonny (Maurice Benard) using unsanitized water from a fountain to take his medication. Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) worried about how Trina (Sydney Mikalya) was feeling. “What the hell were you up to back there?” Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) demanded from Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Finn (Michael Easton) about someone torching Franco’s (Roger Howarth) studio trying to destroy his legacy. Marshall (Robert Gossett) arrived at Charlie’s. When Stella (Vernee Watson) walked away to get Marshall some wings, Curtis asked his dad why he had a problem with him asking Sonny Corinthos for help. Sonny told Leo he and Carly would love him to come over for a visit sometime. Willow let Carly in and told her about the Paris trip. When she went upstairs, Carly again told Michael how she felt about the Nina (Cynthia Watros) situation. Spencer asked Esme what she hoped to gain from the questions she asked during the drinking game. Trina apologized for getting drunk and told Josslyn she didn’t remember much of what happened. Stella introduced herself to Phyllis (Joyce Guy) who commented that Stella looked familiar. Stella told Phyllis that Curtis was her nephew. Finn asked Elizabeth whether she had any theories about who torched Franco’s art studio. Esme reminded Spencer he didn’t defend her when Josslyn called her a bitch to her face. Spencer told her she got off easy. Josslyn told Trina she said she missed the way they used to be before Cam and Joss got together and had to pretend she was happy for them. Carly told Michael she didn’t like the shared intimacy between Nina and Sonny. Sonny assured Ned (Wally Kurth) he and Carly were back on track. But Ned told Sonny to reconsider any grand gestures he had to impress Carly as, speaking from experience, he tried the same thing with Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and it didn’t work. Marshall assured Curtis he wasn’t leaving town and planning to put down roots in Port Charles so they could get to know each other. Spencer apologized for not being the boyfriend Esme needed. Josslyn asked Trina if she thought she (Joss) moved in on Cameron when Trina still had feelings for him. Elizabeth thanked Finn for not giving up on her. Trina assured Josslyn she saw Cameron more as a brother; Cam and Joss were right for each other. Trina still didn’t know how she got drunk. “I do…Esme” Josslyn said. Esme told Spencer she signed up to be with him and would for whatever came next. Spencer asked for Esme’s forgiveness. After Curtis walked away, Stella asked Marshall “What’s all this about you telling my nephew you were in witness protection?” Marshall questioned Stella about how Curtis knowing his full story affects them getting to know each other. Esme told Spencer she forgave him. Trina asked Josslyn whether she thought Esme was just a Mean Girl or whether there was something more. “Oh there’s definitely something more,” Josslyn answered. “Keeping the whole truth from Curtis was like playing with fire” Stella told Marshall. Spencer texted Trina he was worried about her. Trina didn’t reply to the text. Instead, she toasted friendship with Cameron and Josslyn. Sonny called Carly and asked her to meet him. Willow told Michael when she went to order her birth certificate she was told there wasn’t a record of a birth certificate for her.

Tuesday

Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) knew once Peter (Wes Ramsey) went to prison for his crimes, Bailey could be returned to Maxie (Kristen Storms) and things would go back to normal. But it was obvious they didn’t entirely want to give up playing parents. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Michael (Chad Duell) her mom was coming over; she hoped to get a copy of her birth certificate from her mom. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) came to The Invader with coffee for Alexis (Nancy Grahan) and to talk with her mom. At Kelly’s, Austin (Roger Howarth) asked Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) what it meant when a woman kissed you. Maxie told Brook Lynn that Austin remembered hearing them talking the night Louise was born. At the Quartermaines for Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia’s vow renewal, Carly (Laura Wright) told Drew (Cameron Mathison) how nervous she was to see Sonny (Maurice Benard). Ned thanked Laura (Genie Francis) for officiating the wedding. Sonny told Olivia everything between him and Carly would be okay soon. Maxie thanked Tracy (Jane Elliott) for keeping her secret. Tracy said she’s sorry Maxie had to be separated from her daughter because of that vile Peter August. Austin told Britt how Maxie kissed him then brushed him off. When Willow told her how there was no record of her birth certificate online, Harmony said she’d look for the document among her important papers and give a copy to her daughter so Willow could apply for her passport. When Brad (Parry Shen) arrived at Kelly’s, Austin left as he decided to take Ned up on his invite and attend the wedding. Carly and Sonny awkwardly greeted each other. Kristina told Alexis that Harmony was as much a victim of Shiloh as she was. Although she wasn’t entirely comfortable with seeing her mother with Harmony, Kristina encouraged Alexis’ friendship. Alexis told Kristina she respected Harmony for testifying against Shiloh and going to prison. Ned was glad he changed his mind and attended the wedding. Leo was happy to see Austin. With family and friends in attendance, Ned and Olivia exchanged heartfelt vows. He gave her a companion ring to go with her engagement and wedding rings. Drew told Carly about Sonny’s altercation with Curtis (Donnell Turner) over wanting to rent out The Savoy for the night for a romantic grand gesture for her. When Ned told Olivia about Sonny’s plan for Carly, she let her business partner know but Carly said she already knew. Michael offered the use of the gatehouse for privacy when Carly asked to speak with Sonny. Harmony came to The Invader and told Alexis she needed her help with Willow. Carly told Sonny she knew about his romantic grand gesture and reminded him she asked for time and space. Monica (Leslie Charleson) congratulated Ned glad things worked out between him and Olivia. Austin questioned Maxie about their kiss then asked whether she felt about him the way he felt about her. After Tracy told Ned she loved him, agents arrived telling her she was under arrest for fencing counterfeit jewels: The Ice Princess.

Wednesday

Laura (Genie Francis) told Tracy (Jane Elliott) the warrant for her arrest was real and there was nothing she could do about it. Ned (Wally Kurth) told his mother he was calling a lawyer. Tracy recognized Dave, the WSB Agent. “I know you,” she said. Tracy explained how Dave was a headhunter who always tried to get Luke (and by extension her on some trumped-up charge). Drew (Cameron Mathison) intervenes and tells Dave he wasn’t taking his aunt anywhere. And Michael (Chad Duell) as CEO of Aurora Media threatened to splash Dave’s face in the press. Drew demanded Dave call Anna Devane. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Austin (Roger Howarth) she didn’t regret kissing him because it meant her heart was ready to move on “But it can’t happen again” she added. Maxie explained until she got her daughter back she couldn’t give what was happening between them her focus. At Kelly’s, Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) collected his last paycheck before he went to the big house. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) commented Spencer’s seen too many prison movies. Kevin assured Spencer’s friends would visit him at Spring Ridge. But he wasn’t sure. Anna (Finola Hughes) ran into Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) outside Kelly’s. He commented about Peter (Wes Ramsey) being sent back to Pentonville and her concern for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). Anna left when she received a call about Tracy’s situation. Harmony told Alexis when she found out what she’s done, she didn’t want to be her friend. Carly (Laura Wright) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) he didn’t know her well because he refused to give her the space she asked for. At the Jerome Gallery, Trina (Sydney Mikayla) told Ava (Maura West) about getting drunk on a hot tottie. Ava wondered about Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) involvement. Victor told Spencer he spoke with the warden and he’d look out for him while he was at Spring Ridge. Anna arrived at the Quartermaine mansion and was updated about the situation involving the warrant for Tracy’s arrest. Further investigation revealed the piece of the Ice Princess she sold was a counterfeit. Tracy told Anna the sale was arranged through someone who contacted her. Because Tracy was cooperating, Anna said an arrest wasn’t necessary and warned Dave there would be a conversation about his conduct. Harmony told Alexis how Willow’s birth certificate was forged by someone on the commune where she was living at the time. Harmony explained that someone on the commune forged the document to keep them off the grid and now it’d come back to bite Willow. Alexis offered to help Harmony. Sonny told Carly that his surprise was to recreate their wedding in Martinique. “As far as grand gestures go, it’s perfect.” He asked her to come with him. Anna told Maxie and Austin that Valentin left a voicemail he had a lead on Maxie’s daughter. Everything came back to him and Austin remembered hearing Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) calling Maxie the bravest person she ever met before taking Louise. After bidding farewell to Ned, Tracy left Port Charles. Ava reminded Trina of all the people he had in his corner including a girlfriend, Spencer chose to call her. Just then, Spencer arrived at the gallery.

Thursday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) approached Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) and thanked her for her discretion. He said last night was almost forgotten. Laura (Genie Francis) interrupted Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Victor’s conversation and demanded to know what he was up to. Austin (Roger Howarth) thought back to all the times he saw Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) together and had a revelation. Sam (Temporarily being played by Lindsey Hartley) came to see Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) who was babysitting Georgie and James. He asked whether she was nervous for Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) safety because he was escorting Peter (Wes Ramsey) back to Pentonville. At GH, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Mac (John J. York) she wanted to witness Peter being taken back to Pentonville. Peter told Dante he didn’t like goodbyes but preferred ’till we meet again. Sonny told Phyllis (Joyce Guy) that Nina (Cynthia Watros) was probably leaving messages because he stopped taking his medication. Laura told Victor to stay away from her grandson. Ava (Maura West) left Trina (Sydney Mikayla) with Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) who told her he needed to see her and say goodbye. Austin suggested Anna (Finola Hughes) be there to personally see Peter being escorted back to Pentonville. Dante told Peter he wanted him to live a long life behind bars knowing he was forgotten by everyone in Port Charles. Peter smirked, he could assure no one would forget him. Spinelli asked Sam whether she missed the safe and normal life she had with Drew. Sonny assured Phyllis he’s back on his medication and was okay. Britt told Drew how her mother has been playing matchmaker. Sonny sent a drink over to Drew. Ava told Esme tha Spencer was with Trina at the gallery. Spencer told Trina he knew Esme arranged the weekend to cause trouble. Trina told Spencer he didn’t need anyone to make him feel good about himself. Peter told Felicia to give Maxie his love as he was put on the elevator. Austin told Maxie he knew Louise was Bailey. He didn’t understand how she could do something like that. Spencer told Trina he was there because Kevin told him to tell the people he cared about they mattered. Phyllis walked away and left Drew and Sonny alone to talk. Drew said he wasn’t Jason (Steve Burton) and didn’t want to be. They made up when Drew accepted Sonny’s apology. Sam admitted to Spinelli she was torn between her new feelings for Dante and her past with Drew. Austin understood why Maxie did what she did but said he wished she told him sooner. Esme watched as Trina and Spencer almost kissed. Laura arrived to take Spencer to Spring Ridge. Spencer told Nikolas they could talk when he got out in a month. Esme told Spencer as she was interning at Spring Ridge she wouldn’t be far away. Anna told Felicia she hasn’t heard from Valentin since he left a voicemail saying he had information about Louise. Felicia assured Anna that Valentin could take care of himself. The transport vehicle skidded off the road. When Mac and Dante got out, they discovered all four tires slashed, a sign of sabotage and not black ice. They drew their guns.

Friday

Mac (John J. York) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) drew their guns when they found all four tires of their vehicle had been punctured. Inside the prison transport, Peter (Wes Ramsey) asked the guard what happened. Mac and Dante were ambushed. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) looked down in the crib at Bailey lovingly. Austin (Roger Howarth) said he couldn’t help wondering whether Maxie (Kristen Storms) kissing him was another diversion. Maxie told him she lived in constant fear he would remember that night and getting involved with him only made things complicated. But she was drawn to him and couldn’t stay away. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) worried because Mac hadn’t called. They decided to go to the highway to find out what happened. Dante was able to radio in about the shooting on the highway. Brook Lynn told Chase she overheard all the bad things about her he told Dante. Chase told her he just said those things to get Dante off track. Chase added that they were partners in protecting Bailey but couldn’t get involved. As they talked, Chase and Brook Lynn were moving in closer towards a kiss. Liesl (KathleenGati) reminded Nina (Cynthia Watros) she did her a favor by outing her relationship with Sonny (Maurice Benard). Liesl encouraged Nina to go after Sonny if she wanted him. Aboard The Haunted Star, Sonny awaited Carly’s (Laura Wright) arrival and told Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) he felt things would work out for him and Carly. At the bridge, Carly was surprised by Drew (Cameron Mathison). She said she was thinking about Jason (Steve Burton) while Oscar (Garren Stitt) was on his mind. Kristina called Carly and told her how her dad was putting his heart on his sleeve and asked her to meet him halfway. Carly’s response was she couldn’t do this now. Drew said that Sonny was trying to be controlling and wanted Carly to do things his way. Kristina returned to The Haunted Star and told Sonny she called Carly and she wasn’t coming. Drew thought Carly should consider Sonny’s grand gesture as giving him a lifeline and not as an ultimatum. Maxie returned home and told Sam (Temporarily being played by Lindsey Hartley) that she kissed Austin and it was a mistake. She explained the kiss was great but there were other things complicating their getting together. Anna found the transport vehicle empty (Peter had escaped). Dante regained consciousness. Felicia found Mac…he’d been shot in the chest. After the EMTs were able to stabilize him, the Police Commissioner was taken to GH. Liesl overheard Kristina telling her mother on the phone about how Carly refused to meet Sonny halfway by joining him on The Haunted Star for the surprise he arranged. Returning to her table, Liesl told Nina that Sonny was aboard The Haunted Star and alone and in a bad way. Austin called Maxie and told her about the shooting on the highway to Pentonville. Sam, Maxie and Spinelli left for GH. Sonny considered throwing the wedding rings overboard The Haunted Star. Felicia told Maxie that Mac was shot and although stabilized, he looked bad. Sam visited Dante in a cubicle. He apologized for worrying her, adding that’s the downside of dating a cop. But Sam said there was no downside dating him. Anna learned the officer who aided Peter’s escape was dead from a gunshot and point-blank rage. Carly thanked Drew for convincing her to meet Sonny. Sonny was surprised when he turned around and saw Nina aboard The Haunting Star. Dante called Chase and told him about Mac’s shooting and Peter August’s escape. Chase and Brook Lynn rushed upstairs and found Bailey’s crib empty. Peter looked at his daughter fastened in a car seat. Smiling at Louise, he found they’d never be apart again.
