A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At GH, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) discussed with Scott (Kin Shriner) about the boys and whether Jake could be acting out because of losing Jason (Steve Burton), explaining the situation about her misplaced wedding ring. Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) came to Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) office at The Invader and revealed she knew the hypothetical person Alexis was referring to was Harmony (Inga Candranel) and hoped Ms. Davis’ loyalty was misplaced. At Charlie’s, Sean (Sean Blakemore) questioned Harmony hanging out with unsavory tips like Bucky. He told Harmony now that Alexis was out of Spring Ridge she didn’t her because she had real friends to look out for her. Nina (Cynthia Watros) left when Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Carly (Laura Wright) arrived at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) penthouse. Drew also decided to give Carly and Sonny time alone to talk. Carly told Sonny she didn’t want Nina spending the night when Donna was there because it would confuse their daughter. Sonny assured he’d never do anything to hurt Donna. Chase (Josh Swickward) told Finn (Michael E. Easton) how he was moving out because there was no reason to stay with Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) especially after she bolted when he kissed her. TJ met Sean at Charlie’s. Sean told him about the opportunity that would have him moving to the West Coast. Harmony came to see Alexis and admitted she lied to Willow about locating her birth certificate. Betsy Frank arrived at GH and Elizabeth learned she’d been in Port Charles for weeks. After Franco’s foster mother left, Liz shared her suspicions with Scott that Betsy could be responsible for the strange things that’s been happening to her. Carly felt sad Sonny couldn’t come to her when he told her about his recent problem with his medication. They both later signed the divorce papers. Nina felt Drew was attacking her because of her relationship with Sonny and said she just wanted her life to get back to normal. Finn urged Chase to do something about it if he had feelings for Brook Lynn. Chase asked about Finn and Elizabeth. Finn told him Elizabeth was dealing with a situation. Meanwhile, Elizabeth returned home and gasped when she saw a portrait Franco had done of her hanging over the mantle.

Tuesday

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) returned home and gasped when she saw a portrait Franco (Roger Howarth) had done of her hanging over the mantle. Drew (Cameron Mathison) told Sam now was the time to think about his future. Carly (Laura Wright) told Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) she filed her divorce papers and felt like a failure. Willow told Michael they needed to talk about Nina. At Charlie’s, Nina ran into Curtis and Stella and told him she needed to talk to him. “What’s on your mind Nina?” Curtis asked. She told him about the situation with Sonny (Maurice Benard). Finn (Michael Easton) told Chase (Josh Swickward) about the Franco-related pranks Elizabeth’s been experiencing. They were sophisticated pranks which Liz’s kids could be doing because they’re not children anymore. Elizabeth jumped when a hand touched her shoulder. It was Cameron. He saw that portrait Franco did of her and commented he thought it had been destroyed in the fire at Franco’s studio. Liz panicked that whoever put the painting there was in their house and said she had to call the police. She called Finn who told Chase. Sam and Olivia took Carly to a place with an activity where she could work out her frustrations: Throwing axes at a photo of Nina. At The Metro Court, Drew met with Marshall (Robert Gossett) for a job as a jazz musician consultant for Aurora. Marshall declined when Drew told him a background check was needed. Elizabeth gave her statement to Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Michael apologized to Chase for giving him a hard time about Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) when he thought he was Bailey’s father. Carly was determined to cleanse herself of Nina. Willow reminded Nina blood didn’t make you family and said after all her lies, she was inclined to agree with Michael when it came to the time she spent with Wiley. Nina warned she’d fight for her grandparent’s rights if pushed. Finn told Elizabeth he was staying the night to keep her and her children safe from whoever was stalking her.

Wednesday

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) met Sam (Kelly Monaco) at the ax bar and hit the bullseye on the first try. Finn assured Elizabeth he wouldn’t let anything happen to her and the kids. Jake returned home and asked why the police were there. Drew (Cameron Mathison) told Portia about the job interview he conducted. Marshall (Robert Gossett) told Curtis (Donnell Turner) he knew what he was up to. Anna (Finola Hughes) came to visit Mac (John J. York) in his hospital room at GH and they talked about who sent Kruger after Peter (Wes Ramsey). Mac demanded his clothes so he could leave the hospital but Felicia (Kristina Wagner) wouldn’t allow it. Laura (Genie Francis) was glad to see Maxie (Kristen Storms) with Bailey. Austin (Roger Howath) asked Maxie whether she had room in her heart for forgiveness for him. He told her how he was working with Liesl (Kathleen Gati) to get information on Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to find Peter. He admitted that he did it to make it up to her Victor finding out about Bailey Louise. Dante told Sam it looked like Elizabeth Webber had a stalker. He wondered whether Franco could have been cheating on Elizabeth. He added Betsy Frank was a person of interest. Sam called Spinelli Finn asked Jake questions that may seem he suspected him. When they were alone in the kitchen, Finn asked whether she thought Jake was involved. Cameron (William Lipton) told Jake that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) was dead. Finn overheard Jake say it felt like everyone was moving on and forgetting Franco. Marshall told Curtis he knew he arranged the job interview but couldn’t accept because the extensive background check could reveal his criminal record. But Marshall assure he’d never do anything to put Portia or Curtis’ family in danger. Drew told Poria he looked forward to getting to know the woman who’d stolen his buddy’s heart. He shared the story about him, Curtis, the dumpster and the rat then gave her a listing of an available place when he learned she and Curtis were moving in together. Maxie forgave Austin. He reminded her she said she was willing to explore them as a couple after she got her daughter back. Jordan returned and Laura reinstated her as police commissioner. Sam received a surveillance video of Betsy proving she lied and didn’t have an alibi. She also learned Ms. Frank had been arrested for traffic infraction. Jordan came to The Savoy and overheard Curtis and Portia talking about their home. Elizabeth was surprised when Bonnie came to her house and admitted she wasn’t entirely honest with her.

Thursday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) were excited when they decided on their new home. “What does it take for a girl to get a drink around her?” Jordan asked. At GH, Nina (Cynthia Watros) vents to Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) about being on the other side of Carly’s wrath and being painted as the villain. Austin (Roger Howarth) asked Maxie (Kristen Storms) whether she’s made a decision about where they go in their relationship. Maxie kissed him. “If this is a trap one of us will regret it and it won’t be me” Anna (Finola Hughes) warned someone on the phone. “You deserve to know the truth about why I’m here and what I’ve done” Betsy told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Maxie apologized for kissing him. But Austin said he wanted them to kiss for how long he didn’t know. Maxie asked Austin whether he didn’t want to rush things because he wanted to give her time. Or if he was having second thoughts? Curtis and Portia welcomed Jordan home. Jordan told Curtis she was meeting TJ (Taj Bellows) for dinner so they’d catch up some other time. “Jordan, wait” Curtis said. Britt reminded Nina they were family. “So if anyone’s coming for you, I have your back.” The ax bar is a popular place. It’s where Anna met Liesl (who was the person she was speaking with earlier). Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived at the Webber house just as Betsy was about to tell Elizabeth what she did. “I think we know why, ” Dante said. Austin told Maxie he was taking it smoothly because wanted to respect her boundaries. But Maxie wanted to make up for lost time. Jordan said she couldn’t help overhearing they were house hunting. She asked Portia and Curtis to catch her up on the citizens of Port Charles. Nina told Britt how Michael and Willow were trying to keep her out of her grandson’s life. Dante commented about Betsy being in a mental facility recently because she was afraid she’d hurt someone. Britt reminded Anna she hadn’t heard from her since she came back from Switzerland. Jordan talked about Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s marital problems, Jason’s (Steve Burton) death and Marshall’s (Robert Gossett) return but had to leave The Savoy when she got a text from TJ. Britt reminded Nina starting a war with Willow and Michael may put a crimp in a future relationship with Sonny. Liesl told Anna she wanted to discuss a truce between them given their recent history. Reminding him of the circumstances of how they met Maxie told Austin they were in crisis mode. “I want to know whether our crisis feelings are real feelings…don’t you?” Maxie asked Austin. Stella (Vernee Watson) ran into Cameron (William Lipton) at GH. He remembered how he was with her the day of her stroke and asked about the envelope she wanted mailed. “I hope it wasn’t anything important,” Cameron said. Portia commented how Jordan was trying hard to appear she was over him but he’s the type of man that comes once in a lifetime. Talking about how Faison’s obsession with Anna and Liesl’s with him contributed to their turbulent past relationship. Anything they’d probably never be friends, Anna agreed to try to have a different relationship. Stella commented to Cameron how she hadn’t got any emails about needed documentation, the envelope couldn’t have been anything important. Portia told Curtis if she was in Jordan’s place, she’d never let him go. Maxie told Austin what he was seeing now was the real Maxie Jones. Anna and Liesl talked about an activity they could do together to help forge their new relationship. Dante confirmed Betsy was in a mental facility during the time the strange things were happening with Elizabeth. Liz apologized to Betsy for suspecting her. Maxie wanted to spend the evening with her kids but told Austin she’d see him tomorrow. Anna and Liesl decided to take their new relationship slowly and not go to The Savoy for drinks. Elizabeth found a sketch of Franco she’d never seen before drawn by Jake (Hudson West).

Friday

Brando (Johnny Wactor) woke up in bed with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) as they enjoyed their romantic getaway. The professor reminded Trina (Sydney Mikayla) although she was a good student, class participation was required so she’d hate to see her fall behind. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Cameron (William Lipton) how Trina’s been avoiding her and it’s all Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) fault. Esme visited Spencer (Nikolas Chavez) at Spring Ridge and wished him Happy Birthday. Spencer was upset because it was the anniversary of his mother’s death and he couldn’t go put flowers on her grave because he was stuck there. He talked about how it was always a tradition for him. Sonny (Maurice Benard) was visiting Courtney’s grave when Nicholas (Marcus Coloma) appeared with flowers. At The Metro Court, Laura (Genie Francis) saw Ava (Maura West) with Victor (Charles Shaugnessy) and approached their table. After Cassadine left, Ava and Laura talked about their belief he helped Peter (Wes Ramsey) escape the prison van. Outside Kelly’s, Anna (Finola Hughes) met with Drew (Cameron Mathison) and talked about how Victor was working with Peter in an attempt to unlock Drew’s memories. Carly (Laura Wright) told Sam (Kelly Monaco) how Drew let her vent. Laura interrupted and Carly walked away. Laura told Sam she had new information about Victor’s henchman and it affected Drew. Esme offered to put the flowers on his mother’s grave for him. Spencer angrily said it wasn’t about the flowers. He made Esme angry when he said Trina understood. Victor arrived to visit his nephew and commented about the trouble in paradise when Esme stormed off. Spencer asked his uncle to break him out of Spring Ridge so he could visit his mother’s grave. He added Victor had enough power to arrange a furlough; he’d be in and out before anyone noticed. Josslyn asked Trina whether she was mad with her because she was only defending her friend. Trina was angry at how Josslyn was making it about her. Nikolas told Sonny how he wanted to marry Courtney. But Sonny felt his sister could have done better. After Nikolas left, Sonny promised to watch out for Spencer and asked her to keep an eye on Mike, Morgan, Jason and Sasha and Brando’s baby. Sasha excused herself to go into the bathroom and took a pill as drugs were helping her get through things. When she returned, Sasha suggested she and Brando get married today. Sam and Laura interrupted Drew and Anna. Laura told them how she suspected Johan had something to do with Luke’s death. Nikolas came to The Metro Court to meet up with Ava and told Carly that Carly would be proud of what she turned The Metro Court into. Ava suggested inviting Victor to dinner. Trina was surprised to find Spencer out of Spring Ridge and at his mother’s grave. Esme publicly shared the video of Cameron and Josslyn making love to the entire class, much to Cam and Joss’ shock and embarrassment.
