A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Brad (Parry Shen) brought Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) energy food of carbs and sugar. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) update Laura (Genie Francis) and Robert (Tristen Rogers) on their investigation into Luke’s (Anthony Geary) death. At GH, Portia (Brooke Kerr) was distracted as Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) tried to get her attention. A housekeeper at The Metro Court caught Harmony (Inga Canadrel) outside Brendan’s room and asked whether she was a guest there. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Finn (Michael Easton) Harmony was staying with her. Curtis (Donnell Turner) ran into Jordan (Tanisha Harper) on Pier 54. Harmony pulled out Brendan’s room key from her bag to prove to the housekeeper she was staying there. After the woman left, Harmony opened the room door. Alexis told Finn she realized she really didn’t know Harmony well. Brad looked over Britt’s dating service matches and despite five good possible choices, his friend couldn’t find anyone she liked. When Anna told him and Laura about Jennifer Smith’s arrest, Robert wondered whether they had the right person. Elizabeth reminded Portia it wasn’t a nurse’s job to make sure a doctor submitted her notes when Nurse Baldwin didn’t have what she needed to prepare a patient’s discharge paperwork. Jordan told Curtis she came back from Wyndemere to take Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) but the staff made it clear they wouldn’t be speaking with law enforcement without a lawyer present. Laura didn’t believe Jennifer was guilty of the cable car crash that cost Luke’s and the lives of all those innocent people. She said it was more of a Cassadine move. Brad asked Britt whether Terry (Cassandra James) said anything yet about the job. Portia apologized for not doing her job because of worrying about Trina (Tabyana Ali). She asked how Elizabeth was holding up. Alexis was surprised to find Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) in her office at The Invader. He warned her to be careful of the Cassadines. After Jordan left, Selina (Lydia Look) approached Curtis on Pier 54, reminding him of their deal. She revealed there wasn’t a Witness Protection file for Marshall Ashford and said now it was his turn to hold up his part of the bargain (hosting the high stocks poker game at The Savoy). Harmony got her file from Brendam’s room. She had to get herself a drink. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) found her mother at the bar. She told Harmony how she forgave her for getting her involved with Dawn of Day. Valentin arrived at Anna’s house. Selina interrupted Brad and Britt. Curtis came to GH in time to hear Portia accusing Jordan of going after Trina for payback for Dr. Robinson’s relationship with the police commissioner’s ex. Harmony commented how the past always catches up to you, adding everything she’s done she did for Willow. Alexis was on Pier 54 and saw a man floating face down in the water.

Tuesday

At Volonino’s Gym, Marshall (Robert Gossett) watched as Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Michael (Chad Duell) spar in the boxing ring. Drew told Michael he’s sure he’d make the right decision for his family. Marshall and TJ (Taj Bellow) talked about comparing the rhythm of medicine with music. When he approached Drew about his job offer and Cain said the position had been filled, Marshall realized Curtis asked Drew to offer him a job in order to do a background check. At GH, Curtis (Donnell Turner) suggested they stop before they say something they’ll regret when he overheard Portia (Brooke Kerr) accusing Jordan (Tanisha Harper) of going after Trina (Tabyana Ali) for personal reasons because she’s dating her ex. While on her way to visit Nikolas (Marcus Coloma), Alexis saw a body floating in the water off Pier 54. Trina and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) entered Kelly’s and saw Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). Josslyn demanded Spencer leave the diner. But he said him being there was none of her business. Britt (who arrived at Kelly’s and witnessed the scene), pulled Spencer out of there. Josslyn insisted Cameron shouldn’t put Spencer back on the schedule after everything he’s done to Trina. But Cameron said if Joss actually knew what Spencer was doing she’d think differently, adding if she or Trina have a problem with Spencer working there maybe they needed to find somewhere else to hang out. Josslyn was floored, accusing Cameron of backing up Spencer as part of a bro code. Meanwhile, Spencer was telling Britt it didn’t matter who he believed (Esme or Trina) because someone would be hurt. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) arrived at Anna’s house with a fine bottle of wine instead of flowers. She told him how guilty she’s been feeling over letting Peter (Wes Ramsey) die. Both Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin wished they’d been together during that moment and seen it through to the end. Then Anna asked whether Valentin’s been in contact with Victor (Charles Shaughnessey). After cooling down in her office, Portia admitted to Curtis she felt guilty for the accusation she lodged at Jordan. Officer Rory took Alexis’ statement about the victim in the water. Jordan arrived on Pier 54. When the police identified the man as Brendan Byrnes, a surprised Alexis told Jordan he was the brother of her ex. She explained how the last she’d seen of Brendan was before Neil’s funeral before he came to her office to ask for financial help. Alexis refused to answer any more questions without her attorney present. Then left the pier, obviously too shaken for a visit with her nephew now. Drew called Curtis to give him the heads up on Marshall’s suspicions. Harmony got drunk at the bar. When Alexis arrived, she was surprised by Harmony’s condition. After first ruling it a possible suicide, Jordan realized Brendan was murdered after finding strangulation marks on his neck.

Wednesday

At The Metro Court, Alexis (Nancy Grahan) worried about Harmony (Inga Candranel) who was drunk and acting erratic. Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Carly (Laura Wright) witnessed the scene. As Alexis left with Harmony, Sam told Carly she didn’t like what she saw. Sam worried about her mother’s friendship with Harmony. Alexis brought Harmony home. She told her about Brendan’s death. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) asked Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) how things were going with Ava (Maura West). At The Port Charles Grill, Ava and Nina (Cynthia Watros) had a meal together . Nina told Ava about the attempted robbery at Charlie’s. Ava commented how Sonny (Maurice Benard) responded like himself, not like Mike who she thought Nina preferred. Sonny was also at The Grill talking with Laura (Genie Francis) at the bar. She didn’t approve of his tactics when he told her what he did to Esme. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) returned to Kelly’s. His remark about Josslyn (Eden McCoy) caused Cameron (William Lipton) to deck him. Officer Rory witnessed the punch and arrested Cam. When Spencer insisted Rory release Cameron so they could go outside and finish this, he accidentally hit the cop and wound up being arrested too. Trina asked Officer Rory to release Cameron and Spencer. But PCPD’s finest said he had to follow the letter of the law. Sam and Carly came over to Alexis’ house to check on Harmony. When they were alone, Harmony asked Carly why she was being so nice to her. Carly answered because Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) was her family. “I wish she were mine,” Harmony said to Carly’s confusion. Sonny had one of Charlie’s robbers stuffed in the trunk of a car and said he’d soon be joining his friend. When he returned to The Grill, Nina asked whether everything was okay.

Thursday

At the Webber house, Chase (Josh Swickward) told Finn (Michael Easton) the video feed was set up; he would catch the person terrorizing Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). At The Port Charles Grill, executive coach Mia (Vanessa Mathison) asked Drew (Cameron Mathison) about his certainty in wanting to run a media conglomerate. Marshall (Robert Gossett) told Epiphany (Sonya Epiphany) he was leaving Port Charles. At the PCPD, Officer Rory told Jordan (Tanisha Harper) he broke up a fight at Kelly’s and Spencer Cassadine was the instigator. Cameron (William Lipton) couldn’t believe he was in a jail cell. In the other cell across from him, Spencer said he had to do something because Cameron was about to ruin everything. Maxie (Kristen Storms) was at The Savoy waiting for Austin (Roger Howarth) who had to cancel their date. When Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) entered, she told him she needed a distraction because Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) was on her first date. Selina (Lydia Look) told Curtis (Donnell Turner) the backroom set up met her expectations. Curtis reminded per the agreement he didn’t want any trouble. Selina didn’t think there would be but was used to expecting the unexpected as Sonny (Maurice Benard). When they were alone, Sonny told Selina she should be careful who was associated with her business referring to Ms. Wu’s nephew Brad (Parry Shen). Selina assured she was keeping an eye on Brad. Maxie and Spinelli decided to spy on Britt on her date. Marshall told Epiphany he probably shouldn’t have come back. Epiphany scolded Marshall for being ready to cut and run when things got hard. Officer Rory gave Jordan the details of the arrests. Spencer told Cameron he had to do something so Josslyn (Eden McCoy) wouldn’t get suspicious when Webber was defending him. Spencer assured Cameron he’d say he was pressing assault charges and would take the blame for instigating the altercation. Cameron worried how this would affect Spencer’s parole. Laura arrived at the PCPD to pick up her grandsons. Aiden told Chase he had a ouija board for a school project. He said that he believed it was Franco’s (Roger Howarth) ghost. Mia suggested ELQ and Aurora merge in order for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick) not gaining controlling interest in ELQ. After ending his meeting with Mia, Cameron noticed Britt at the bar and joined her. She told him about Society Matchups and how her date stood her up. Maxie and Spinelli arrived soon after. Spinelli got overly worked up praising the algorithms Maxie pulled Spinelli away and asked whether he was interested in Britt. Finn came to the PCPD to pick up Cameron. Spencer said he wasn’t pressing charges, so Cameron was free to go. Officer Rory let Spencer off with a warning. Laura reminded her grandson how lucky he was because the outcome could have been much worse. She scolded him and told him he must always show law enforcement respect. Finn and Cameron returned to the Webber house and found Chase unconscious on the floor.

Friday

Jordan (Tanisha Harper) came to The Savoy and commented about the private party that lasted until four in the morning. Trina (Tabyana Ali) found Marshall on Pier 54. “Mr. Ashford, going somewhere?” she asked. At the Quartermaine mansion, Ned (Wally Kurth) proposed a toast to his son Leo as the adoption has gone through. Leo asked Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) where Chase (Josh Swickward) was. Despite a concussion, Chase told Portia (Brooke Kerr) he had somewhere he needed to be and had to check out of the hospital. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) thanked Finn (Michael Easton) for bailing Cameron (William Lipton) out last night. Portia gave Chase the all clear and discharged him. When Finn and Elizabeth came to Chase’s room, he told them about helping Aiden with a ouija board which he first said was for a school project but in truth wanted to use it to contact Franco (Roger Howarth) because he may be haunting them. Brook Lynn left a voicemail for Chase to see where he was. Carly (Laura Wright) apologized to Sam (Kelly Monaco) for any trouble she caused between her and Dante (Dominic Zamprogona). When Marshall told her he was leaving town for good, Trina urged him not to give up on reconnecting with his family. Curtis reminded Jordan that clubs can stay open after 2:00AM. Jordan said she was just teasing; she was there to see how he and Portia were doing. Selina (Lydia Look) entered. Curtis lied to Jordan that Ms. Wu was there to book The Savoy for a birthday party. Jordan received a call and had to leave. Once they were alone, Selina gave Curtis the file on Marshall and offered the advice once he opened it there was no turning back. When Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Harmony (Inga Candranel) about the story Smoltz was writing, she asked her not to publish it saying she was worried the truth would come out that she wasn’t Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) biological mother. Ned was uncertain about Drew’s idea on an ELQ/Aurora merger saying it would give Drew controlling interest. Leo had a meltdown. Jordan arrived at GH and questioned Chase about what happened. Since Chase’s phone was broken, she told Finn and Elizabeth they had to go back to her house to look at the footage from the video camera. Trina came to The Savoy and told Curtis about Marshall leaving town. When Finn, Elizabeth and Jordan looked at the footage, they discovered the file was corrupt. Curtis arrived on the Pier and confronted Marshall about running away again. Harmony prepared to burn the incriminating file. Carly walked into Alexis’ house in time to see her strike a match.
