A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Valentin (James Patirck Stuart) proposed the planned ELQ Aurora merger be stopped. At Kelly’s, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) asked Chase (Josh Swickward) to talk to her. Chase told Brook Lynn his problems were just beginning. At The Metro Court Pool, Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) saw Nina (Cynthia Watros) and asked Miss Reeves to leave. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) entered and said she invited Nina…so if Nina wasn’t welcome neither was she. After Olivia walked away, Sasha told she was sorry Nina lost visitation rights to Wiley. At Volonino’s Gym, Sonny (Maurice Benard) commented on the animosity between Brando (Johnny Wactor) and Dex and reminded Dex that Brando was family. Carly (Laura Wright) told Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) she invested in Aurora to ensure their family’s future, explaining how Aurora merging with ELQ helped the stocks to plummet. Aurora is now positioned so Valentin couldn’t plan another takeover. Valentin’s motion carried because Ned (Wally Kurth) voted in favor. Lucy (Lynn Herring) took a photo on her cellphone of Ned and Valentin shaking hands. Chase told Brook Lynn his suspension was extended indefinitely and he had to go before a civilian review board to show he was fit to carry a badge. Brook Lynn told Chase she’d get Linc to testify on his behalf in exchange for him to use her songs and keep the profits. “He can use them for dog food commercials for all I care.” After Dex walked away to find his boss’ sunglasses, Sonny told Brando he had a talk with Dex and convinced Dex he made a mistake by going after Michael (Chad Duell). Valentin asked for the photo of him and Ned shaking hands to be published with the headline ELQ Aurora merger is dead. After Cassadine left, Drew and Michael questioned Ned’s motives in siding with Valentin because Ned was now Chairman of the Board. They accused Ned of being self serving. Nina told Sasha if it weren’t for Sonny she would have left Port Charles. Willow arrived at The Metro Court Pool. Both Nina and Sasha noticed she didn’t look well. Dex told Brando they got off on the wrong foot and extended his hand to start over. Although suspicious, Brandon shook it. Carly ignored a call from her broker to focus on her time with her daughter. She was confused when Valentin approached their table and seemed uncharacteristically cheery for someone who just lost his job. Willow told Olivia she needed to talk with Ned about what happened at the shareholders’ meeting. Because Brook Lynn called him, Gregory brought Violet to Kelly’s to help cheer up her Uncle Chase. Olivia was happy to learn Ned was ELQ’s Chairman of the Board until Drew said it meant her husband was Valentin’s Second-In-Command. Olivia learned Valentin was still CEO because Ned changed sides and voted with Cassadine. Drew found Carly who was curious about what happened at the shareholders meeting, adding that her broker has been calling her. Drew said he knew why Carly’s broker was calling her and the news wasn’t good. Sonny arrived at The Metro Court Pool and caught Willow when she passed out.

Tuesday

Wednesday

Carly (Laura Wright) asked whether Drew (Cameron Mathison) managed to get rid of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). At Kelly’s, Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) interrupted as Felicia (Kristina Wagner) was asking Anna (Finola Hughes) to tell her all about her date with Valentin. TJ (Taj Bellows) gave Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) some MCAT books to use for studying. “What facts caused you to throw away your family’s legacy?” Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) asked Ned (Wally Kurth). “Sonny won’t see us coming” Michael (Chad Duell) told Dex. “What are you doing to Uncle Sonny?” Leo asked overhearing the phone conversation. At The Metro Court Pool, Sonny (Maurice Benard) caught Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) as she passed out. Drew told Carly that Ned voted against removing Valentin because he didn’t like the position he and Michael offered him, which was bad judgment on their part. Carly commented that Ned turned on his family. Michael tried to explain to Leo what he overheard in a way not to give his plan away. Ned explained to Olivia how Drew and Michael were trying to put him out to pasture. This way, he remains in a position of power. Olivia didn’t entirely disagree with Ned but asked “Is it worth alienating your entire family?” Victor said he and Valentin could take a raincheck on their getting together…he could spend time with Anna and Felicia. Liesl did a quick exam of Willow but it was suggested she get checked out. Sonny helped Willow walk to his car. Sasha called Michael and told him Willow collapsed and they were taking her to GH. Nina and Liesl sat on lounge chairs and talked about the men in their lives and Victor’s obsession with her when Cassadine arrived. Olivia warned Ned he’s now the enemy the family will rally against. Drew explained to Carly how when the news hit that the merger wasn’t happening, Aurora’s shareholders left in droves. He added Carly’s shares took a big hit but he wouldn’t let her lose her house. Carly told Drew it was much worse than losing her home…she put her half of The Metro Court up as collateral. Anna and Felicia wondered what was going on when Valentin took off after getting a text. TJ and Epiphany treated Willow when Sonny and Sasha brought her in. TJ asked Willow about her fainting episodes and ordered tests. Michael accuses Sonny of doing something to Willow. Carly’s broker arrived and told her and Drew even with all her other investments she didn’t have enough to buy back her shares. Carly was struck by the real revelation that she could lose The Metro Court. Ned and Olivia assured Leo he could always come to them even when they were angry with each other because Quartermaines stuck together. Valentin let Victor into his room at The Metro Court where they met secretly because he didn’t want Anna to know what they were up to. Although he could say definitively without all the results to her tests, TJ told Willow she’s pregnant.

Thursday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) asked Cody (Josh Kelly) whether he needed to see a doctor again for his lingering injuries. Brad (Parry Shen) stopped Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) from bothering Britt (Kelly Thiebauld). Spencer said it was him he had to see because he needed help with his girlfriend. Brad was intrigued to say the least. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) notices Rory (Michael Kruse) sitting on a lounge chair at The Metro Court Pool. She bought him an ice tea and told him she needed his help regarding her internship being revoked at Spring Ridge. Brando (Johnny Wactor) told Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was all he needed. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was shocked she was pregnant. TJ (Taj Bellows) told her he would have to see what her test result said to determine why she fainted a few months ago. Britt interrupted Brad and Spencer. She threatened to throw Spencer out herself if he didn’t leave. Spencer asked Brad to leave because he had an apology to make. Once they were alone, Spencer apologized to Britt for his cruel words. Then he asked her help in obtaining a DNA test to determine Esme’s birth parents, which he said would be more of a help than she knew. Rory told Esme he had a friend who could help her…if she gave him her phone he could put his friend’s number in. Cody lied to Sam and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) was helping him determine how to land his parachute safely next time. When Trina (Tabyana Ali) arrived at The Metro Court Pool and saw Rory and Esme together, she asked what’s going on. TJ sent Michael (Chad Duell) in to see Willow. Sasha overheard an ob gyn consult being ordered for Willow and got upset. “I’m not sick. I’m pregnant” Willow told Michael. Curtis (Donnell Turner) told TJ that he and Marshall (Robert Gossett) were going to work together to help. Cody told Spinelli there was a way to get rid of him. He said Spinelli would be investing in his future. Esme beat a hasty exit. Rory told Trina he served Esme notice and now she knew he knew what she knew. Marshall called his old trumpet player Jack about someone who sold black market cell phones. Sasha came to the garage and overheard Brando and Gladys talking. She assured her mother-in-law they didn’t want her to move out. Marshall told Curtis he wasn’t going to see the seller of the blackmarket cell phone without him. Michael and Willow assured each other they wanted the baby. The sleazy photographer called Sasha and told her he could get her what she needed. Dante told Sam when they were kids he envied Cody but doesn’t anymore. Cody assured Spinelli they’d all come out on top if he did what he wanted. Britt told Brad how Spencer needed help if he was to get his girlfriend what she needed. Trina warned Rory to be careful of Esme. Spencer arrived at The Metro Court Pool and noticed Trina with Rory. Esme commented how Trina seemed to be moving on from her crush of Spencer. The sleazy photographer wanted Sasha to help him get his credentials verified so he could attend her appearance on the Home Shopping Network. “Maybe I could help you if you could help me” she told him.

Friday

Ava (Maura West) met with Scott (Kin Shriner) to discuss her divorce, reminding him it was a grand gesture on his part. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) told Scott their marriage which started with blackmail will be a thing of the past. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) watched the scene from the shadows. At Kelly’s, Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) told Cameron (William Lipton) he found out who Esme’s biological mother was. Chase (Josh Swickward) told Finn (Michael Easton) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) his suspension was extended indefinitely. Gregory asked Chase whether losing his cool punching Linc was worth his career as a police detective. Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) told Carly (Laura Wright) she was sorry for what happened. Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) discussed Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) appearing on the Home Shopping Network. Sasha told the sleazy photographer their deal was a mistake. He asked whether she was sure as he showed her a pack of pills. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) met with Sonny (Maurice Benard) in the park and asked him to get rid of Linc for her. Spencer told Cameron his plan was to tell Esme he found her biological mother and would only tell her if she admitted what she did to Trina (Tabyana Ali). He would record her confession and turn it over after giving her time to leave town first. Spencer reasoned it would cast reasonable doubt on Trina’s case. Trina told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) Curtis has taken over the investigation to help prove her innocence. Esme came over and blurted out that she thought Nikolas wasn’t going to tell Ava when she heard divorce being mentioned. She quickly covered and pulled Nikolas aside to discuss a surprise she was planning for Spencer. Esme asked to borrow Nikolas’ convertible to take Spencer on a drive through the countryside but what she really needed was Nikolas’ help. Spencer told Cameron his Uncle Victor used his connections to get Esme’s records unsealed and with DNA samples was able to find Esme’s biological mother. But he admitted it was a lie and hoped Esme would be as easy to convince. Sasha arrived at Deception and snapped at Lucy and Maxie after they pressed her about the cue cards for her Home Shopping Network appearance. Carly refused to accept Olivia’s offer to buy her half of The Metro Court when she learned Olivia would have to discuss it with Ned first. Ava admitted to Scott her fear that pursuing this divorce would be tempting fate. Nikolas offered to help Esme get her internship at Spring Ridge back. Cameron agreed to help Spencer with his plan. Chase told Finn and Gregory since he was suspended without pay he’d have to get another job. Sonny told Brook Lynn he couldn’t help her. Ava told Nikolas she appreciated the gesture but he didn’t have to take it this far…they didn’t have to go through with this divorce. She told Scott they weren’t signing the divorce papers. Finn reminded Chase he had to convince the review board of his remorse. Cameon told Spencer he would create a diversion so Spencer could get the DNA samples from Joss and her mom. Esme was surprised to see Spencer and asked what he was doing there. Sasha took one of the pills. Olivia told Carly her ex-husband owed her when Sonny arrived at The Metro Court.
