A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) came to see Carly (Laura Wright) at her office at The Metro Court. Carly suggested Sam use the fact she’s sleeping with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) to help Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) case. Carly apologized for how her words might have made Sam feel and added if they didn’t stop Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl), who would she target next? At the PCPD after the ADA assured Dante and Jordan she’d make sure Trina paid for the revenge porn, they knew they’d have to get evidence to clear her. At the Jerome Gallery, Ava (Maura West) told Trina how having Sonny (Maurice Benard) go after Esme backfired because Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) invited Ava to move into Wyndemere. When Ava added she considered leaving Wydemere but wasn’t sharing a bed with Nikolas as long as Esme lived there, Trina told her she’s giving Esme and Spencer (Nikolas Chavez) what they wanted. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) found Harmony (Inga Candranel) on Pier 54 and offered to help with what’s bothering her. At The Metro Court, Nina (Cynthia Watros) appealed to Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and Michael (Chad Duell) to settle Wiley’s visitation amicably without the need to get the courts involved. Brendan watched from across the room and asked a bartender to take a photo of him with Nina Reeves in the shot. He was pleased to learn Nina was talking with Michael Corinthos and Willow Tait. Harmony panicked when Brendan texted her the photo. Brendan interrupted Nina, Willow and Michael pretending he had a business proposal for them. Esme announced she was leaving now that Ava has returned home. But Nikolas said she wasn’t going anywhere with Sonny (Maurice Benard) out there; it wasn’t safe. Alexis arrived. After Spencer and Esme left the room, Alexis discussed Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessey) influence on him with Nikolas. Spencer told Esme he was going to the gallery to tell Ava he’d make restitution in another way that didn’t involve working with Trina. Panicking when she saw Brendan with Nina, Willow and Michael, Harmony texted You Win. Willow noticed their brief exchange as Brendan got on the elevator and asked whether her mother knew that man. Jordan told Dante the evidence to them looked as though Trina was set up but to anyone else, it was the nail on her coffin. Sam arrived at the PCPD to take Dante for pizza and was interested in learning about the new evidence in Trina’s case. Harmony met Brendan on Pier 54, promising he’d get what was coming to him when he asked for a payment. When Carly arrived in the dining room at The Metro Court, Nina vowed she would have a place in their grandson’s life the same as Carly.

Tuesday

Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s scheduled episode of General Hospital will air tomorrow.

Wednesday

Sasha (Sofia Matteson) and Brando (Johnny Wactor) were at Charlie’s checking listings for houses when Sonny (Maurice Bernard) and Phyllis (Joyce Guy) entered. Sonny welcomed Sasha to the family and introduced her to Phyllis, who offered her condolences for the loss of their child. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was glad to have a family night out with two of her girls Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Britt (Kelly Thiebauld). Scott (Kin Shriner) suggested he leave if they wanted a girls night out. Don’t he dare, he’s part of the family Liesl reminded. Ava (Maura West) interrupted saying she needed Scott. She told him she wanted him to find another way for Spencer to make restitution because she didn’t want him at the gallery to hurt Trina (Tabyana Ali) any more than he’d already had. Trina was surprised when Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) arrived at the Jerome Gallery looking for Ava. He ended up saying all the wrong things as Trina reminded he accused her of betraying and humiliating her best friends. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) couldn’t get out her mind the call from her RA asking whether she felt safe living in a dorm room with Trina. Josslyn vowed they had to prove Trina’s innocence. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) talked about the child-parent bond with Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) commenting how she wondered what would have been like if she’d known her birth parents. Nikolas told Esme how he didn’t get to know his mother until he was a teenager. Esme commented it was good having someone to talk with who understood about lonely childhoods. Ava interrupted Sam and Dante. Pulling Detective Falconieri aside, Ava demanded he get evidence proving Trina’s innocence and Esme’s guilt. Sonny offered to sell Phyllis Charlie’s for a hundred dollars. He tried to convince Phyllis to accept his offer because she deserved to own Charlie’s. Cameron checked when Josslyn thought she heard someone in the house. Later, he was disappointed when he was told he couldn’t be a camp counselor this summer. Esme re-read a letter from her nanny Maggie who reminded her moving to New York with Spencer and being close proximity to her father wouldn’t be a good idea. Spencer had a daydream he told Trina he knew Esme set her up and was pretending to believe her to get evidence of her guilt because he was in love with Trina. Ava returned home and told Nikolas their vow renewal ceremony wasn’t happening. Britt got a few matches for her dating profile and let Liesl look them over. Sam caught Dante looking at the Robinson Forensics Report on his cell phone. Nina urged Phyllis to accept Sonny’s offer. After Phyllis, Sasha and Brando left and Nina went to lock up, two men entered with guns to rob Charlie’s.

Thursday

As Nina (Cynthia Watros) went to lock up Charlie’s, two masked men burst in to rob. Sonny (Maurice Benard) urged them to take what they wanted and this would all be over. At The Metro Court, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) caught Sam (Kelly Monaco) with his phone and demanded to know what she was doing. She admitted she was forwarding the forensics file to her email. Carly (Laura Wright) watched the scene from across the room and took the blame. Drew (Cameron Mathison) pulled her away. Over drinks, Carly admitted she spent so much time worrying about everyone else that it was time she looked after herself. At Volonino’s Gym, Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) ran into Austin (Roger Howarth), Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Chase (Josh Swickward). Austin apologized to Chase for using him to get back at Brook Lynn. Sam told Dante she was trying to help Trina (Tabyana Ali) and wasn’t working in the capacity of a PI. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came to the Jerome Gallery and asked Trina what happened. “Spencer happened,” Trina answered. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) came to the Webber house and Cameron (William Lipton) wasn’t glad to see him, reminding how he failed Trina. Spencer said Cameron was right. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Brando (Johnny Wactor) returned to Charlie’s and saw the robbery in progress. Brando told Sasha to call the police. One of the robbers ordered Sonny to open the safe while the other held his gun on Nina. Sonny spotted Brando outside. Before the robbers knew it, Brando rushed in and he and Sonny overpowered them. Sasha reminded Brando he could have been killed and made him promise not to put himself in danger again. Dante reminded Sam breaking into his cellphone was an invasion and he needed to know he could trust her. He left when he received the call about the robbery at Charlie’s. Josslyn suggested she and Trina go to Kelly’s. Spencer told Cameron he knew Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) framed Trina and planned to work towards proving Trina’s innocence. But he didn’t want Trina to know. “Even if she hates you?” Cameron asked. Trina was nervous to go inside Kelly’s. After they ordered their food, Josslyn noticed a guy at the bar staring at them. She walked over and angrily confronted him. Trina told Josslyn she knew him. It was PCPD Officer Rory who Trina thanked for bringing her a soda and making himself invisible by walking away and giving her time alone at her arraignment. Officer Rory told Trina to hang in there then left Kelly’s. Josslyn told Trina her friendship with Spencer was over…she was done enabling him. “My first loyalty is to her,” Josslyn told her friend. Spencer asked Cameron to help him prove Trina’s innocence with the condition he told no one what he was doing…not even Josslyn. Dante arrived at Charlie’s and took statements of the events of the robbery. At Sasha’s request, Detective Falconieri said Brando could give his statement tomorrow. After some good advice from Spinelli, Sam texted Dante saying “I’m sorry. I missed up…I promise to do better.” After everyone left the bar, Brando told Sonny he could be targeted by lowlifes because everyone may believe there’s a weakness in his organization. Sonny told Brando he’ll just have to prove he’s as powerful as he ever was.

Friday

Chase (Josh Swickward) was taking a shower when he received a call and said he’ll be right there. Aiden was sitting outside Kelly’s looking at a link a friend sent him on contacting the dead with a Ouiji board when Laura (Genie Francis) approached and asked what he was looking at and they had a conversation about communicating with the dead. Carly (Laura Wright) came to Charlie’s and told Sonny (Maurice Benard) she heard about the attempted robbery and wanted to check to see if everyone was okay. “What about Nina?” Carly asked, reminding Sonny that him not retaliating against Nina (Cynthia Watros) may be sending the message he’s weak. She wanted his word Donna and Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) would be safe. Michael (Chad Duell) told Smoltz he wanted the first installment of the article about Nina to come out before the hearing. Harmony (Inga Candranel) arranged a meeting with Brendan. Inside her purse was a syringe. Willow was surprised to see her mother at The Metro Court. She told Harmony she was proud of her for working hard to turn her life around. Chase arrived at the Webber house. Finn (Michael Easton) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) since his brother was suspended and needed to keep busy so he asked Chase to stay with her to protect her from whoever’s been stalking her. He showed her a camera and told her if anyone came into her house, they’d get them on tape. Nina was in Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) office at The Invader talking about Harmony when Smoltz entered and revealing about the series he’s writing on Ms. Reeves. After Nina left, Smoltz pitched his story. Even though knowing the people involved made it difficult, Alexis agreed to publish it but gave Smoltz some conditions. Harmony met with Brendan. Thinking about Willow’s words, she put the syringe back in her purse. Brendan arrived and Harmony gave him a thousand dollars, promising to get the rest over time. Brendan insinuated he probably could more from Michael Corinthos. During their altercation, the syringe fell from her purse. Sonny assured Carly his first loyalty in the grandparent’s right case was with Michael. They also talked about Sonny drinking alcohol while taking his lithium. After he left Charlie’s, Carly spoke with Phyllis and learned of Harmony’s connection to Nina through her mother Madeline. Brendan realized Harmony killed his brother Neil. During their physical altercation, Brendan fell off the embankment into the water below. At The Metro Court, Nina confronted Willow and Michael about their motives for the series of articles. She vowed she’d win the fight.
