A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Haley Puollos) were surprised when Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told them she invited Harmony (Inga Canadrel) to move in. Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Marshall (Robert Gossett) how Sonny (Maurice Benard) helped TJ (Taj Bellow) once when he witnessed a crime. At Charlie’s, Phyllis (Joyce Guy) told Harmony she wanted to talk with her about Nina (Cynthia Watros). Phyllis asked Harmony to convince Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) to let Nina see Wiley. Phyllis recalled how friendly Harmony was with Nina’s mother Madeline (Donna Mills) years ago. At The Metro Court, Nina was waiting for her Aunt Liesl (Kathleen Gati). She was still giving Scott (Kin Shriner) the cold shoulder even though he kept her out of prison. When Liesl didn’t show up, Nina asked whether her aunt set her up so they (she and Scott) would be alone together. (Brooke Kerr) and Taggert (Real Andrews) talked about how lucky they were to have a daughter like Trina (Taylabana Ali). Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) she was at the PCPD waiting for Trina because Commissioner Ashford (Tanisha Harper) had some questions for her. Trina told Jordan she didn’t know a parent or legal advocate while she answered questions. She wanted the person who sent the video of Cam (William Lipton) and Joss to pay. Josslyn told Dante the police should be questioning Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Esme asked Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) whether she could move in with him. When he said it wasn’t a good idea because of Spencer (Nicholas Chavez), Esme said he was turning her back on her too. Nikolas said he didn’t want to appear to be taking sides but they would figure something out. Jordan told Trina there was information Trina viewed the video weeks before it was sent. Trina pulled out her phone to show Jordan. She said she only had one phone. So it didn’t look good when Jordan pulled out a second phone with a case matching Trina’s. Jordan called Curtis and gave him a not too subtle hypothetical regarding a person being questioned who didn’t want anyone present but now looks like a suspect. Curtis knew it was Trina and called Portia. Esme smirked as she watched Trina’s parents leave The Metro Court. “I wonder where they’re going in such a hurry.” Scott again urged Nina to back away from Sonny. TJ and Molly told Alexis how Sean (Sean Blakemore) asked them to keep an eye on Harmony, who entered with her key. Curtis, Portia and Taggert arrived at the PCPD. Marcus was furious with Jordan about his daughter being in the interrogation room. He and Portia went in to be with their daughter. Taggert reminded Trina she shouldn’t have spoken with the police without them or a lawyer present. Then, he angrily stormed into Jordan’s office. Curtis reminded Jordan was just doing her job. She gave the phone to Dante to have forensics check. Nikolas got Esme a room at Kelly’s…which was not what she had in mind. After forensics checked the room, Jordan told Trina she had to come with her…to booking. Portia cried in Curtis’ arms when Dante arrested Trina.

Tuesday

Laura (Genie Francis) noticed Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) seemed preoccupied while she poured him a cup of coffee. She reminded he could tell her anything. At Charlie’s, Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) read about Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) arrest and smiled. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) commented that her new place must agree with her. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) wanted to walk Trina through the next steps, explaining in a few hours she’d be taken to her arraignment. Trina insisted she didn’t do it. Sam (Kelly Monaco) was surprised to learn Harmony (Inga Canadrel) moved in with Alexis (Nancy Grahan). Harmony left the room so Sam and Alexis could talk. After Sam left, Harmony admitted to Alexis she’d been in her house before. At The Metro Court, Ava (Maura West) and Carly (Laura Wright) were coordinating their schedules for visits with Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) when Sonny (Maurice Bernard) entered and told them about Trina’s arrest. Ava left to make sure Trina got justice. She arrived at the PCPD and proclaimed Trina’s innocence. Jordan gave them fifteen minutes to talk but said the police officer had to stay. Sonny commented on Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for years but he had to find out about the video by reading The Invader. He wanted to make the person responsible pay. But Carly told him she’d take care of it. Spencer assured his grandmother he was fine. Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) arrived. Laura left when Jordan called to see her. Spencer told his Uncle Victor that Esme may be pregnant. Victor assured the lad even if it were true, he didn’t need to fret because as Cassadines, they had resources at their disposal. Victor said they could arrange for the baby to be raised by an appropriate family and so mother and child would be taken care of without disruption to his life. Then, Victor told Spencer about Trina’s arrest. Sonny refused to sit back and not try to help Josslyn. Sam arrived at The Metro Court as Sonny was leaving and knew the look in his eyes meant someone was about to pay. Laura arrived at the PCPD. She read The Invader article on the way over and knew there was no way Trina was guilty. Jordan told Laura the case not only had to do with Cameron (William Lipton) as one of the victims, but also her other grandson, Spencer. Esme commented her room at Kelly’s was clean and comfortable. She told Nikolas she didn’t know how she and Spencer would get back together when he didn’t believe her and she never loved anyone as much as him. Esme showed Nikolas The Invader article about Trina’s arrest. Harmony thought about when she injected Dr. Neil Byrne with the drug causing his death. Ava came to see Sonny and asked what he was going to do about the Trina situation. He told her he was on it. Esme smirked as she sat outside Charlie’s reading The Invader article. Ms. Prince looked scared as someone approached. Spencer visited Trina in the interrogation room. She said she visited him while he was in custody so she guessed it was now her turn. Spencer asked why she did it. Victor arrived at Charlie’s and told Nikolas he saw Esme getting into the back of a car. One of Sonny’s henchmen sat Esme down in a chair in Corinthos’ office. “Esme, nice of you to visit” Sonny said with a smile acting every bit the mobster.

Wednesday

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) welcomed Chase (Josh Swickward) back. But Chase was only visiting the squad room. He still had 54 days left on his suspension. The IPO paperwork was signed. Lucy (Lynn Herring), Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) talked about Deception’s IPO April 5th party. Meanwhile, Sasha (Sofia Matteson) and Brando were back in Port Charles. Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) waited for Scott’s (Kin Shriner) arrival. Portia wasn’t sure Baldwin was right for Trina (Tabyana Ali). At the PCPD interrogation room, Trina insisted to Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) she was innocent. At Charlie’s, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) was confused why Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) would leave without saying anything. Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) told Nikolas that Esme may be pregnant. Sonny (Maurice Bernard) apologized to Esme for his associate scaring her saying the man didn’t know social graces. He said he wanted to chat about what she did to Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Lucy reminded Brook Lynn she needed to ask Chase about singing at the IPO launch party. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) entered and asked about stock options since Sasha was her daughter-in-law. Her Deception bosses nixed it and instead gave Gladys their lunch orders. Brando told Sasha now that she’s his wife and they needed to talk about living together. Gladys appeared and welcomed them home. Chase defended Brook Lynn to Dante. Brook Lynn reminded of everything Chase did to help…she was reluctant to ask him for a favor. Scott said he believed in Trina’s innocence and said the case had enough reasonable doubt. Spencer told Trina she was drunk and may not remember sending the video. Nikolas suggested they go somewhere to talk. He called Esme to let her know he was leaving. When her phone rang outside Charlie’s, Nikolas commented she wouldn’t leave her phone. Remembering their earlier conversation, Nikolas told Victor they had to get to Sonny’s. Sonny told Esme he knew she was guilty of making the sex tape and was never wrong. He urged Esme to make it right. “All you gotta do is confess.” Victor and Nikolas arrived and were kept away from Corinthos’ office by Sonny’s associate. But Esme heard them outside and yelled for help. Esme rushed into Nikolas’ arms. Sonny said he was there if Esme wanted to tell him anything. After Esme and Nikolas left, Victor told Sonny they had something to settle. Lucy and Maxie went downstairs to The Metro Court dining room to give Chase and Brook Lynn time alone to talk. Brook Lynn asked Chase to sing her song at Deception’s IPO launch party. In the dining room, Lucy and Maxie congratulated Sasha and Brando on their marriage and said after the IPO launch party they would throw them a party to celebrate their marriage. When he told her Esme might be carrying his child, Trina realized when Spencer felt he needed to defend her. Trina angrily ordered Spencer to get out. The police officer told Spencer it was time he left. Portia and Curtis arrived. Portia was furious Spencer had the nerve to show his face. But because her daughter needed her, Portia said she didn’t have time to deal with him. Dante told Spencer he should go. Portia entered the interrogation and hugged her daughter. Then,Scott, Trina, Portia and Curtis left for Trina’s arraignment. Esme and Nikolas returned to Charlie’s. Spencer walked in just in time to see Esme thanking Nikolas with a hug for saving her. Victor warned Sonny to stay away from his family or else face the wrath of the Cassadines who always came out on top. Sonny reminded Victor that Spencer was his family too, adding if Victor started a battle he’d win the war because Sonny faced tougher men than him.

Thursday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Carly (Laura Wright) were at their yoga class when Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) entered. At Charlie’s, Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was shaken about what happened with Sonny (Maurice Bernard). Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) said he loved his uncle but disagreed with his motives. A man sitting in the corner watched them from the corner. Scott (Kin Shriner) advised Trina (Tabyana Ali) to plead not guilty. Neither Nina nor Carly were going to let the other drive them from the class. Molly (Haley Puollos) greeted Curtis (Donnell Turner) outside the courtroom. She said she hoped it wasn’t awkward she was assisting the ADA in prosecuting Trina. Curtis understood she was just doing her job. The DA’s office offered Trina a deal: If she pleads guilty, she would pay a thousand fine, community service and no jail time. Curtis knew the judge could decline the deal and if found guilty, Trina could end up in Pentonville for a year or two. Trina was torn over what she should do. Scott urged her to plead not guilty as he could almost guarantee she’d be acquitted. Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) decided to go to Trina’s arraignment to support their friend. Nina told Maxie she had an advocate in Harmony (Inga Canadrel). At The Metro Court, Harmony joined Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and Michael (Chad Duell) and asked about Nina being allowed to see Wiley. Nina asked to speak with Carly about Wiley. But Carly reminded she couldn’t use Wiley as a replacement for her dead daughter. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Diane (Carolyn Henessey) that because she didn’t use Smoltz’s story she probably couldn’t convince him to drop the charges against Michael.

Friday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Brick (Stephen A. Smith) he’s been trying to fill the void of the loss of Jason (Steve Burton). Alexis (Nancy Grahan) said she couldn’t forget the man who accused her of murdering his brother. At Charlie’s, Harmony (Inga Candranel) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) she had news but she doesn’t think she wants to hear. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) commented on how Wyndemere seemed like something out of a novel. At her arraignment, Trina (Tabyana Ali) pleads not guilty. Esme feared Sonny would still come for her. She left to put her things in her room. Brick accepted the position as Sonny’s right hand man. Sonny told Brick about Esme’s framing Trina and wanted him to help prove it. Brendan Byrnes, Neil’s brother, wanted Alexis to make his brother’s death right by giving him an opportunity. When Harmony told her that Willow agreed with Michael and said she couldn’t see Wiley, Nina announced she had no choice but to proceed with legal action to exercise her grandparent’s rights. After Trina entered her plea, the DA asked for bail to be set at $250,000. But the judge didn’t view Trina as a risk as her guilt had yet to be determined in a court of law. So she was released without bond. Scott asked Molly whether she believed Trina was guilty. Molly reminded Baldwin to address her as Ms. Lansing-Davis and said as her attorney, Scott should have instructed his client to take the generous deal. Ava (Maura West) hugged Trina in congratulations as did Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Trina left with Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) eager to take a hot bath. After she was gone, Smoltz cornered Cameron and Josslyn for a statement about events. Ava stepped in to defend Trina and put Smoltz in his place. Scott ran into Nina at Charlie’s. Ms. Reeves asked Baldwin to represent her in her grandparent’s rights case against Willow and Michael. Scott agreed but only if Nina promised to do whatever it took to win, even if it involved Sonny. Sonny told Brick of his connection with Nina but added he didn’t know what the future held for them. When he met Harmony Miller, Brendan thought her name sounded familiar. Spencer asked Esme if she was delaying taking the pregnancy because she was afraid she was or wasn’t pregnant. Brendan found a file labeled Harmony Miller. Trina loved her new room at the beach house and was glad she had somewhere to stay until she could prove her innocence and return to the dorm. Josslyn told Cameron the only way to prove Esme set Trina up is if they are able to prove she could be in two places at once. Ava returned home and found Esme lounging in an armchair reading What To Expect When You’re Expecting.
