A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At The Metro Court Pool, Carly (Laura Wright) told Drew (Cameron Mathison) she was glad they could put the drama with Nina (Cynthia Watros) in their rearview. Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) was glad Leo seemed to be taking to equine therapy. When Olivia left the stables, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) arrived at the stables with some riding gear for Leo. But really to see whether Ned (Wally Kurth) made a discussion about what they discussed about ELQ. Ned was willing to side with Valentin but only if Cassadine could offer him the CEO position. Olivia returned and after Valentin left, told Ned Cassasdine was up to something. TJ (Taj Bellows) told Terry (Cassandra James) he had a family situation to take care of which was why he was away from GH. Portia (Brooke Kerr) welcomed Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Marshall (Robert Gossett) home. Laura (Genie Francis) visited Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) at Shady Brooke and told her not to panic if the prescribed sleeping pills took a few days to kick in. Finn (Michael Easton) came to visit Elizabeth with flowers and told her he’d do anything for her and was ready when she needed him. Stella (Vernee Watson) reminded Marshall when Portia asked how he was doing. It wasn’t as a doctor but as the woman who loved his son. After Stella and Marshall left the room, Curtis told Portia about Marshall’s pills. Portia offered to take a look at the medication. When Marshall came back, he told Curtis when he was arrested all those years ago, he was having paranoid delusions. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Carly she didn’t want to look for her biological mother because she could turn out to be someone like Nina, which wouldn’t suit her needs. Meanwhile, Drew told Michael (Chad Duell) in going after Sonny (Maurice Benard) he wouldn’t want him to do something he’d regret. Laura assured Finn that Elizabeth will come to him when she’s ready. When he returned to GH, Terry asked Finn how Liz was doing. Finn told her how Elizabeth said him being there made her feel worse. He wondered whether Elizabeth could be repressing something else and it was more than grief. TJ told Portia he was glad Marshall decided to give Curtis the answers he sought. Marshall told Curtis after his arrest the police had him put in a psychiatric ward for 72 hours where the doctor diagnosed him with schizophrenia.

Tuesday

Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) woke up in her room at The Metro Court hung over with Brad (Parry Shen) and Liesl (Kathleen Gati). She talked about skydiver Cody (Josh Kelly) literally falling from the sky. Brad showed her the video he took of the event on his cellphone. At Volonino’s Gym, Sonny (Maurice Benard) Brando (Temporarily being played by Brad Schmidt) talked about their respective family situations. Dex arrived and told Sonny someone was targeting Corinthos Coffee. Sonny knew it was Michael (Chad Duell). Meanwhile at the Quartermaine stables, Michael tried to convince Ned (Wally Kurth) to accept the COO position. Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) talked at The Metro Court Pool. She insisted on helping him with the ELQ Aurora possible merger. Carly talked about how even as close as she was with Jason (Steve Burton) she rarely followed his advice and often did what she wanted. Carly said she owed Drew for being there for her after Jason died. Marshall (Robert Gossett) explained how he stayed away because he was worried what his schizophrenia would do to his family. But when Curtis (Donnell Turner) opened The Savoy, he took it as a sign to come back into his son’s life. Liesl told Britt she didn’t want her to miss out on a chance for love. Dex came to see Michael.

Wednesday

Selina (Lydia Look) asked Sonny (Maurice Benard) with the harbormaster being fired how that would affect her shipment. Brando (Temporarily being played by Brad Schmidt) told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) his concern Sonny’s new guy Dex might see Michael (Chad Duell) as a threat to eliminate to impress the boss. “What are you doing here?” Michael asked when he turned around and saw Dex standing there. “Taking initiative,” Dex answered. At The Metro Court Pool, Brad (Parry Shen) admitted to Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) sending the video of Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) falling into the pool may not have been the best move. Cody (Josh Kelly) laughed as he watched the video. Meanwhile, Britt was on the phone demanding the video be taken down. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) she was driving her crazy. Britt left a message for Terry (Cassandra James) to call her. Sonny assured Selina it was his territory and he’d handle it. Michael ordered Dex to leave because he was on private property. “I came here for a reason,” Dex told Michael. “And what reason would that be?” Dante asked as he entered with Brando. Dex approached Brad and Brook Lynn, who introduced herself then left. Britt appeared and remained Dex he slammed into her. Gladys admitted she may be hovering but she wanted to make sure Sasha didn’t slip. Sasha reminded Gladys in their business she could get drugs anytime. But she wanted to stay clean. “Gladys I appreciate your concern but you have to believe me I am completely fine,” Sasha assured. She opened the door and picked up a box that was delivered. Sasha cried when she saw what was inside. Britt was annoyed that Cody wasn’t in jail. She asked to talk with Brad. Britt asked why he hated her, commenting first he made her an internet sensation and now he’s fraternizing with the enemy. Brad reminded Britt how she was standing close to the edge when she fell in the pool. Sasha cried as she looked at the shoe she’d ordered for Liam. Brook Lynn arrived and saw how upset Sasha was. Brando introduced Michael to Dex, Sonny’s new hire. Since Michael hadn’t invited him there, Brando walked Dex out while Dante asked whether Michael was okay. Michael said it was none of Dante’s business. Sonny told Selina his business didn’t concern her. Brad apologized for wrongly sending the video. He said she hasn’t been herself for awhile and asked what was going on. “Talk to me,” Brad asked Britt. Sasha assured Brook Lynn she was fine. Brook Lynn said she was there on Deception business. She told Sasha how Lucy (Lynn Herring) got Deception a slot on the shopping network. Sasha left the room and told Gladys she was going to the bathroom. Dante reminded Michael he was his business and was glad he got there in time. When Sonny learned Dex went to see Michael, he warned “You touch one of my kids and I will kill you myself!” Cody interrupted before Britt could tell Brad what was upsetting her. Britt was surprised Cody knew her name. “You’re all over my feed” Cody told Dr. Westbourne then showed her the video. Brook Lynn told Gladys how she felt when she saw Bailey’s things after she returned to Maxie (Kristen Storms) and she knew Bailey was alive and well and returning to her real mother…she can’t imagine how it is for Sasha. When Gladys wanted to go check on Sasha, Brook Lynn asked whether something else was wrong. Dante reminded Michael if he wanted to cut Sonny out of his life that’s fine but being bent on revenge, Sonny would never be completely out of his life. Sonny told Dex his family was off limits. When they were alone, Brando told Sonny he had a bad feeling about Dex. Returning to Dex, Sonny reminded when he gave him an order he followed it. “Nothing more, nothing less,” Sonny said. “That doesn’t work for me” Dex replied. Britt ordered Cody to delete the video because it was taken out of context. Selina approached them and pulled Brad aside. Sasha returned from the bathroom saying she just needed to splash water on her face. Gladys sat in as Sasha and Brook Lynn met about the television spot. Brad told his Aunt Selina he was enjoying the job and wanted to make a significant contribution to the family business. Dex told Sonny he didn’t want a robot; he wanted someone who anticipated and took care of problems so he wouldn’t have to. “I was showing initiative,” Dex added. Sonny told Dex had to first earn his trust. Dex asked for another chance. Selina told Brad he had no experience in the business and needed to study and train. Britt left another message for Terry. Cody came to Britt, who told her the video wouldn’t help anyone take her seriously. Gladys knocked a pill bottle out of Sasha’s hand as Brando opened the door. Dante confronted Sonny about Dex. Sonny assured he set Dex straight. Meanwhile, Dex sought out Michael again and we learned Michael hired him to bring Sonny down.

Thursday

At The Metro Court, Carly (Laura Wright) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) talked about the investigation into Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) past. Sam told Carly she was searching for Esme’s nanny Maggie, adding she couldn’t Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) thought about having sex with Esme when Ava (Maura West) entered the room. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) was doing everything he could to help convince Esme they were back on track. When they entered the room, Ava told Esme and Spencer she wanted them to get along. Ava added her deal with Spencer to give him the allowance from his trust fund also includes Esme and their behavior better be up to par. Esme asked Ava what gave her the right to dictate how she would act. Ava reminded because she held the purse strings. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came to the Jerome Gallery and announced to Trina (Tabyana Ali) they were leaving Port Charles. Trina told Josslyn she couldn’t think about her future with a criminal trial and a possible expulsion holding over her head. Cody (Josh Kelly) suggested Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) sue The Metro Court for the incident where she fell in the pool because they were supposed to guarantee the safety of their patrons. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) knocked a pill bottle out of Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) hand as Brando opened the door. “What the hell just happened?” Brando (Temporarily being played by Brad Schmidt) asked. Sasha told him Gladys wrongly believed she was back on drugs again. Brando asked whether that was the reason his mother moved in with them. Gladys reminded Brando about his addiction and how he lied to her face when he was using…she was just worried she’d fail Sasha like she failed him. Britt pushed Cody in the pool. After he got out of the water, his boss from Society Setups Zelda arrived. Zelda apologized to Britt for what happened and offered her six month free and she would make Britt her top priority. When they heard him in what appeared to be a heated altercation, Sam and Carly came over to Spinelli’s table. Spinelli lied he was in therapy to help deal with his emotions over the breakup with Ellie and the man was a credit collector his therapist sent because he was behind in paying his bill. Sam and Carly weren’t buying the explanation. Josslyn told Trina how strange Cameron’s (William Lipton) been acting and how he didn’t think breaking up Esme and Spencer was a good idea. Esme told Nikolas she would keep what happened between them secret. Unless he wanted to come clean to Ava and then she would support him. Ava questioned Spencer’s feelings for Esme; he may have loved her once but didn’t seem to anymore. Zelda met with Spinelli in the alley and told him Britt was taken care of. He gave her a roll of cash and said Dr. Westbourne couldn’t know what he was up to.

Friday

Laura (Genie Francis) came up as Finn (Michael Easton) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) were loading food for the camping trip. Violet (Jophelle Love) asked whether they had enough marshmallows. Laura noticed Cameron’s (William Lipton) heart didn’t seem to be in the trip. Portia (Brooke Kerr) quizzed Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) for the MCATs. She told Nurse Johnson the reason she became a doctor was to help people. Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Marshall (Robert Gossett) arrived. Trina (Tabyana Ali). received an email from the Office of the Dean and told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) once she opened it, her life would never be the same. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) told Ava (Maura West) he was in love with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) and not Trina. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) told Esme to keep his voice down so no one will hear they slept together. At GH, Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) were surprised when Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) was wheeled in. Laura encouraged Cameron to go on the camping trip because it was important he spent as much time with his younger brothers while his mother was away. Mac approached Ryan and reminded he’ll pay for all the people he’s hurt over the years. Suddenly, Ryan got out of the wheelchair and knocked Mac to the floor. Felicia screamed as Ryan took a bite out of Mac’s juggler. But it was all Ryan’s fantasy. “Oh no Trina” Josslyn said after reading the email. Trina learned PCU concluded she violated university regulations and she would have a meeting with the dean where either sanctions could be imposed or expulsion. Officer Rory Cabera (Michael Kuse) entered the Jerome Gallery in time to hear Trina say the only person who could prove her innocence and clear her name was her. Esme was permitted to visit Ryan and an exam room because she was an intern at Spring Ridge. Esme told her daddy she was just about to make his day, adding she made Nikolas an offer he could refuse: Her. He encouraged Trina to let those he cared about her help. Curtis told Portia that Marshall’s pills weren’t for a heart condition but schizophrenia. Marshall was pleased when Epiphany told him about taking the MCATs to look towards the future. Marshall said he was facing his past and making up for it. Portia told Curtis if he was worried he’d inherited his father’s condition, he could take the genetic marking testing for schizophrenia. Portia told Curtis he could wait until after he spoke with Marshall before meeting with a genetic counselor. After he left, Portia made a phone call to get an appointment with a genetic counselor. Mac and Felicia cleared up the misunderstanding of each thinking the other wanted to have a child. Felicia assured she wasn’t pregnant, adding she didn’t regret they never had their own child…the two girls he helped her raise were enough. After showing Violet how to tie a knot, Gregory gave Finn advice about Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Spencer arrived at Kelly’s after Laura convinced Cameron to go on the camping trip. He told Cam about Ava giving him $10,000 a week and said since he now had access to his trust fund, he was giving notice. Spencer agreed to work one more shift so Cameron could go on the camping trip. Cam commented that living with Esme was worse than working at Kelly’s. Ryan was happy Esme had seduced Nikolas until he learned she hadn’t told Ava about her idiot husband’s cheating. Trina told Josslyn she could prove her innocence by poking holes in Esme’s story. Nikolas told Ava he had a way to prove his love for her. “I want a divorce,” Nikolas said. Ryan grabbed Esme wrist and squeezed it tightly to express his anger and displeasure with her. Felicia approached the examination room where police officers were guarding the door.
