A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

It was important for Portia (Brooke Kerr) to know whether Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) would still be together if she’d be honest with him. Curtis told Portia the basis of every good relationship is honesty. A man watched Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) at The Metro Court Pool. At GH, Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Gregory (Gregory Harrison) how scared she was when she learned Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) witnessed Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) stabbing. Gregory asked Alexis whether she’d like to participate in his Ethics in Journalism seminar. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was relieved when Brando opened his eyes and spoke with her. Nina (Cynthia Watros) saw Sasha and learned the good news. Jordan told Sonny (Maurice Benard) she couldn’t do anything to cause the hook wielding assailant to get off on a technicality. Sonny reminded he was the general public and she needed his help in finding the person who seemed to be targeting people connected to him. Nina interrupted and gave them the good news Brando was awake then she went to look for Dr. Robinson. Jordan left to question Brando. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) met with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and told Dr. Collins about losing chunks of time, which seem to be connected with an old memory she’s having about her father. While Sasha left to give Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) the good news, Jordan took Brando’s statement and questioned him about whether he could identify his assailant. Brando explained it was raining and the person was wearing a black hoodie. He couldn’t say whether it was a man or woman or the person’s height. But Brando remembered hearing a clicking sound that was like the bracelets Sasha wears. At The Metro Court Pool, we saw Dex’s (Evan Hofer) clicking tag dogs around his neck. Josslyn came over and returned his sunglasses. When she returned to Trina, Josslyn asked whether she was being paranoid or was the man at the bar staring at them. Trina looked and confirmed her friend wasn’t being paranoid.

Tuesday

“It seems fitting after everything I’ve been through I end up in Jacksonville with you” Carly (Laura Wright) said while looking at Virginia’s headstone. Curtis (Donnell Turner) asked for a Yes or No answer whether she intentionally lost the divorce papers. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) continued her hypnosis with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). Finn (Michael Easton) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) the public had a right to know “There may be a lunatic out there with a hook.” Carly remembered how she couldn’t wait to get out of Florida and get to Port Charles to claim the life she knew was her. She commented how she was back where she belonged. Jordan remembered when Stella (Vernee Watson) told her what she did with the divorce papers. She insisted she wanted to move on. Curtis asked Jordan if he hadn’t asked her for a divorce, would they still be married? Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) arrived at GH and told Sonny (Maurice Benard) how relieved she was Brando (Johnny Wactor) would be okay. Meanwhile, Sasha screamed for help when Brando’s blood pressure began dropping. Portia and the medical team worked on trying to save his life while Sasha watched from outside the room. Alexis suggested to Gregory they write an open letter to the attacker to appeal to his vanity. Sonny met a man at GH who reminded him of his dad. Elizabeth rushed into Finn’s arms and told him she realized what a good liar she was. Sasha remembered her history with Brando from the moment they met. She cried for him to give her more time. Lights began flickering in the waiting room. “Brando?” Sasha called. Portia came out of the room. From the look on Dr. Robinson’s face, Sasha knew the news wasn’t good. “They don’t get to take my son and Brando,” she cried. Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Gladys appeared and learned the tragic news. Carly told her adoptive mother how she regretted taking her for granted. A flashlight started shining in her face. It was the night watchman hired to guard the premises. He explained to Carly the beautification society planned to tear the cemetery down to make a path closer to the beach. He told Carly how Virginia’s emergency contact was contacted about moving her grave and never replied back. Carly confronted Mrs. Hunticutt warned the woman she was staying and would fight for her mother. TJ, Curtis, Jordan and Stella joined hands and said a prayer for Brando. Sonny, then Sasha said goodbye to Brando.

Wednesday

Chase (Josh Swickward) was getting ready for his audition at The Savoy. Curtis (Donnell Turner) asked Portia (Brooke Kerr) on the phone about what happened with Brando (Johnny Wactor). Anna was on Pier 54 assuring she was being careful while someone with a hook was behind her. That person was Jordan (Tanisha Harper) who told Anna the hook was the same one missing from the Quartermaine estate. She was on her way to GH to meet with the medical examiner. Finn (Michael Easton) reminded Chase as he wasn’t on the force anymore, he needed to let the Port Charles police find who murdered Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) husband. Maxie (Kristen Storms) questioned Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) about why Deception’s social media hasn’t done a post about Brando’s death. Selina (Lydia Look) entered The Savoy and commented how Port Charles had become a dangerous place. Alexis and Sonny entered Charlie’s and saw Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) laughing with Victor. Kristina explained she and her Uncle Victor were debating the correct pronunciation of scone. After Kristina walked away to get back to work, Sonny reminded Victor to stay away from his family. “Like it or not, Kristina is my family too.” Chase assured Finn he wasn’t using Brando’s death as a play to get his badge. But he agreed with Finn to let the police handle the investigation. Lucy (Lynn Herring) warned Brook Lynn she’d be fired if she didn’t get her head back in the game and focus on Deception’s social media instead of promoting her boyfriend’s music career. Brook Lynn left when she got a reminder about Chase’s audition. Jordan told Anna if she revealed the information she knew about Portia, it could ruin things for her and Curtis. When Valentin appeared, Jordan urged them both to be careful before leaving the pier. Portia worked all night at GH. She commented to Finn how The Invader’s anonymous source helped alert the public. Jordan approached and said it had the opposite effect. She urged them to tell them who the anonymous source was if they knew. Kristina got angry when Alexis said she was putting her life at risk for a dead end minimum wage job. Kristina countered that she loved her job and was being safe. Sonny tried to smooth things over by telling his daughter her mother and him just wanted to protect her. Curtis agreed Chase could audition for a singing gig at The Savoy. Chase allowed Selina to stay to see his audition. Victor came to Deception to take Lucy up on their lunch date. Anna and Valentin decided to pull Lucy from spying on Victor as even Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) WSB contacts deemed Cassadine too dangerous. After Chase’s audition, Curtis told him he could see him singing at The Savoy. Anna and Valentin came to Deception looking for Lucy. Maxie told them she was out with Victor. Portia received the report on the cause of Brando’s death and told Finn and Jordan it was from toxic poisoning.

Thursday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) was sitting down at Charlie’s when Nina (Cynthia Watros) entered. She asked how he was doing. Drew (Cameron Mathison) entered and offered Sonny his condolences about Brando (Johnny Wactor). He told Sonny he hadn’t heard from Carly (Laura Wright). In Jacksonville, Carly downloaded information from her lost phone from the Cloud onto her new cell phone. Then she played back her messages. Mrs. Hunnicutt (Linda Purl) entered and asked why Caroline was still there. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came to see Kevin (Jon Lindstrom). Finn (Michael Easton) explained how some warriors used toxins on spears against their enemies. Jordan told Finn and Portia they may be dealing with a serial killer. Anna (Finola Hughes) blamed herself for putting Lucy (Lynn Herring) at risk. But Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) and Lucy arrived aboard The Haunted Star for their business lunch. He told her anchor was set and they were leaving the harbor and setting sail far away from Port Charles. Drew contacted Mia (Vanessa Mathison) as organizer of the Aruba conference for a key to Carly’s whereabouts. He learned the plane never arrived in Aruba and she was in Jacksonville. Nina understood Sonny’s concern for Carly. He was worried about Nina’s safety as well and told her he’d hire security for her. Elizabeth had another hypnosis session with Kevin. Mrs. Hunnicutt taunted Carly for losing The Metro Court and told the bartender to put Caroline’s drink on her tab. Carly tried to appeal to her and asked not to move the cemetery and Virginia’s final resting place. When it didn’t work, Carly warned that if she thought she caused hell back in the day, she hasn’t seen anything yet. Maxie told Anna and Valentin that Lucy sent a tweet with stars and jack o lantern emojis. Anna and Valentin figured out where Lucy was. Carly finally called Sonny back and he told her about Brando. She wanted to take the first flight out back to Port Charles. Elizabeth drew a sketch of the woman she saw while under hypnosis. Ironically, the same woman was in a photo Finn had on this cell phone. But Sonny told her to stay where she was until he gave her the go ahead to return home. Nina told Maxie she could help Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys (Bonnie Burrough) by making the arrangements for Brando’s funeral. Maxie couldn’t believe the guest list she had for the party to celebrate their wedding would now be used for Brando’s funeral. Victor told Lucy something dangerous was coming which he was the only one who could weather the storm. He gave her a diamond bracelet. Anna and Valentin boarded The Haunted Star. They hid when Victor’s man came out on deck. Anna covered Valentin’s nose when he felt a sneeze coming on.

Friday

“Brando, tell me you didn’t leave me,” Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) said sadly as she sat on the floor behind the register at the garage. “Brando?” she asked when she heard someone enter. Nina (Cynthia Watros) visited Ava (Maura West) and asked where she was planning to stay now that it appeared her marriage was over. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) stopped by his son’s office and told Finn (Michael Easton) it was good he was having good memories of his dead wife Reeko. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) looked at the sketch she did of the woman (Reeko). “Who are you?” she wondered. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Diane (Carolyn Henessey) how Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) wasn’t taking the dangers of being a witness to Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) attack seriously. Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) told Lucy (Lynn Herring) she deserved to be showered with gifts. Anna (Finola Hughes) had Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) remove his Italian leather shoe and tossed it in the other direction to distract Victor’s guy. Then, they came up behind him and Valentin kicked him overboard. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) interrupted Alexis and Diane. After Diane left, Nikolas asked Alexis whether he should give up on his marriage. Nina invited Ava to move in with her. When she learned she hadn’t contacted Scott (Kin Shriner) about a divorce, Nina realized Ava was still in love with her husband. Sasha told Sonny she couldn’t believe Brando was gone. Sonny told her how he still looked for Morgan’s face in the crowd and would give anything for another day with his son. Diane arrived. When Sasha wasn’t in the room, Diane told Sonny that Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) asked her to serve as interim counsel to represent Sasha. Sonny was still angry that Diane grilled him on the stand during Nina’s grandparents’ rights case. Diane reminded she was giving Michael (Chad Duell) her client the best legal representation. Sasha returned and Diane told her now Brando was gone, the situation with her guardianship is up in the air. Sasha asked whether that meant she was going to prison. Diane asked for Sasha’s permission to file for a continuance then went back into the office to look for Brando’s copy of the guardianship paperwork. Sonny told Dex (Evan Hofer) to stay with Diane while he took Sasha home. Lucy and Victor were interrupted by the captain who told them someone had fallen overboard. Lucy urged Victor to help with the search when she saw Anna and Valentin. Anna wanted Lucy to leave with them. But Lucy told her she didn’t want rescuing, commenting how she was close to learning Victor’s masterplan. Anna and Valentin left The Haunted Star. Victor returned with You and who couldn’t recall what happened. Victor encouraged him to go back to his cabin and get some rest. He told Lucy something wasn’t right. Seeing the screenshot on Finn’s cellphone, Elizabeth learned the woman was his late wife Reeko. Nina left when Nikolas arrived with a grand gesture for Ava and handed her an envelope. At GH, Alexis told Gregory her fear for Kristina and that the assailant would strike again. The hook wielding serial killer walked towards Disney at the garage while her back was turned. Will she be the next victim?
