A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At The Metro Court Pool, Finn (Michael Easton) introduced Gregory to Curtis (Donnell Turner). Chase (Josh Swickward) congratulated Curtis on his engagement. Violet asked whether she could come to the wedding. “I love weddings,” Violet said. Stella (Vernee Watson) came to see Jordan (Tanisha Harper) but changed her mind before knocking on the door. Jordan opened the door and asked whether Stella needed to see her. Cody (Josh Kelly) met Selina at The Savoy and told her he wanted a chance to change her mind about him. “I have a proposition for you,” Cody told Selina. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told her father she and Chase were dating and she was his manager. Ned (Wally Kurth) didn’t think it was a good idea. At GH, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) questioned Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) about the night of the stabbing. Nikolas arrived and he and Liz went to talk after Dante left. Sonny (Maurice Benard) asked Ava (Maura West) whether she thought Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) tried to kill her. Ned told Brook Lynn how difficult it was for their relationship when her mother Lois (Rena Sofer) was his manager. Stella asked Jordan how she felt about Curtis and Portia’s engagement. Curtis’ bartender called and told him Ms. Wu was at the club meeting someone. Cody asked Selina to stake him the ten thousand dollar buy-in to play in one of her poker games in exchange for him giving her fifteen thousand when he won. Selina asked whether he could also determine the outcome for other players. Finn told Gregory about his problems with Elizabeth and about Nioklas giving her an alibi for the time of Ava’s stabbing. He called Nikolas bad news; he was the reason Hayden (Rebecca Budig) left town. Cody met with Dante and asked his friend “Why is your boss out to get me?” Stella told Jordan how she meddled in her and Curtis’ personal business by taking her divorce papers. “They were never filed. You and Curtis are still married.” Selina offered Curtis the gift of a sound system upgrade. When she suggested more live music and a local artist she heard about, Curtis reminded “The Savoy is my business, not yours.” Sonny questioned Ava about what really happened with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Sonny speculated Elizabeth could be giving Nikolas a fake alibi. Elizabeth asked Nikolas if the reason he gave her an alibi was to protect her or him. Dante assured Cody that Mac (John J. York) wouldn’t pin a crime on him just to say he solved the case. Thinking of her conversation with Sonny, Selina suggested Curtis think about re-booking Harrison Chase to sing at The Savoy, adding being the club that spotlighted new talent would be good for business. Curtis was surprised to find his Aunt Stella at Jordan’s office. Finn walked in and saw Elizabeth and Nikolas hugging. Dante promised Cody he wouldn’t let him be railroaded for the stabbing. After Dante walked away, Cody called Ms. Wu and agreed to be Selina’s ringer in the poker game. Sonny told Ava he wouldn’t let it go ignored if Nikolas was the one who stabbed her. After Nikolas left, Elizabeth told Finn she had to go to the police to tell them she had time she couldn’t account for.

Tuesday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) thought it impossible he and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) were still married since their divorce papers hadn’t been filed. “Nothing’s impossible,” Stella said. “What does that mean?” Curtis asked. After getting out of the pool at The Metro Court, Drew (Cameron Mathison) saw Marshall (Robert Gossett) and came over to him to apologize. Carly (Laura Wright) thanked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for meeting her at Charlie’s. Carly told Josslyn she didn’t have to worry about Donna or Avery because Pilar was going to be with them around the clock. Plus, Carly knew her daughter’s life was full of distractions. Just then, Dex (Evan Hofer) entered. Finn (Michael Easton) asked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) what changed and made her decide not to tell the police she wasn’t with Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) at the time of Ava’s (Maura West) stabbing. Portia entered Ava’s room and asked whether she was up for a visitor. “It depends,” Ava answered. Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Nikolas he wasn’t going to see Ava. “If you get within five feet of Ava’s room, you’re not gonna like what’s gonna happen” Sonny warned. Sasa (Sofia Mattsson) was told once she entered into the guardianship agreement only Brando (Johnny Wactor) could terminate it. Brando told Sasha she still had options like changing her plea and going to trial. Josslyn thought about when Dex helped her save Ava’s life. Sasha told Brando it wasn’t easy signing her life over. Brando assured he wouldn’t let the guardianship go any longer than necessary. Sonny warned Nikloas if he had proof he had anything to do with this even his Uncle Victor couldn’t save her. Ava noticed Portia’s engagement ring . Portia said she didn’t think it was appropriate to mention her engagement with everything Ava’s going through. Ava told Portia she wondered whether Elizabeth Webber gave Nikolas a fake alibi. Curtis was about to go down to the county clerk’s office to demand there be consequences for the huge error that will affect people’s lives. Jordan said she knew what happened. Marshall thanked Drew for being a good friend to his son. “You were there for Curtis when I couldn’t be.” Carly told Josslyn she emailed her all the numbers she’ll need. Josslyn urged her mother it was her time to focus on her career and life. Carly gave Josslyn some money. As she was leaving, Carly ran into Sonny. He assured Avery and Donna will be fine. “Good luck” Sonny said then Carly walked away. Finn told Elizabeth as long as she gave information from the police it would cast suspicion on Nikolas or her. Nikolas spoke with someone on the phone and said they had to get there. Ava told Portia that Elizabeth could be manipulated by Nikolas to give him an alibi. Ava urged Portia to remember before she walked down the aisle the ones you love can hurt you. Portia covered for Stella by telling Curtis she meant to take their divorce papers to the courthouse herself to file them but there was so much going on during that time with a heavy caseload. Then she was injured and spent months at that clinic in Albany. When Curtis asked her to file the papers now, Jordan said they were long gone. Sasha signed court papers as she reached a decision. Finn convinced Elizabeth that Ava deserved the truth. Brando, Gladys and Sasha arrived at Charlie’s. Sonny greeted Brando. When Gladys and Sasha walked away, Brando told Sonny how Sasha signed over guardianship to him to avoid prison. Nikolas brought his own bodyguard and demanded to see his wife. Portia came out of Ava’s room in time to witness the altercation. Soon, Curtis arrived. Portia told Nikolas how Ava’s blood pressure spiked and Curtis urged him to leave before the police got involved. Stella questioned Jordan for taking the blame for her. Jordan explained she didn’t want Stella to have any problems with Curtis or Portia. Curtis told Portia what happened with the divorce papers and said something about Jordan’s explanation didn’t sit right. He wondered if the accident wasn’t really an accident, remembering her reluctance in signing them. Stella told Jordan she would always be family. When Jordan said she didn’t have much family, Stella emailed her the information about the ancestry website so Jordan could check to see if she had any relatives. After Elizabeth told her how she couldn’t account for Nikolas’ whereabouts at the time of her stabbing, Ava asked Frank to do something for her. Jordan called the genetic testing company and learned the only way a match could go missing was if the person was removed from the registry. Frank brought Nikolas to see Ava. Drew called Carly but got her voicemail. Carly’s flight to Aruba experienced turbulence. Dex agreed not to tell Josslyn’s boyfriend about their dumpster diving adventure. After he left, Josslyn noticed Dex’s sunglasses on the table and rushed after him to return them. Brando, who had been watching Dex and Josslyn talking, followed. In the alley, he came face to face with Ava’s hook wielding attacker.

Wednesday

Due to a storm, the flight to Aruba had to be a landing in Jacksonville, Florida. Carly (Laura Wright) learned her connecting flight to Aruba was delayed due to a storm. Drew (Cameron Mathison) was surprised when Sam (Kelly Monaco) entered the PC Grill with Scout. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) interrupted Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) call. Portia (Brooke Kerr) told Curtis (Donnell Turner) it’s possible Jordan lost the divorce papers on purpose because she wanted him back. “I want the truth, are you the one who tried to kill me the night of the Quartermaine picnic? Ava (Maura West) asked Nikolas (Marcus Coloma). While Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) waited for him inside Charlie’s, Brando (Johnny Wactor) faced off with an unknown person with a hook. He tried to fight him off but was stabbed. Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) screamed when she saw the man run off and Brando lying on the ground. Her screams alerted Sonny (Maurice Benard). Scout asked Drew whether he was going to take her to school for the first day. Dante told Jordan a large slaughter hook was missing from the Quartermaine boathouse. Jordan said Ava’s injuries could have been made by a hook like item. While Sonny applied pressure to Brando’s wound, Kristina called for an ambulance. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and Sasha screamed when they saw Brando was hurt. The paramedics arrived and began working on Brando. Carly met a woman at the airport who encouraged her to focus on the good things instead of the bad things while they were stranded in Jacksonville. Carly thought about kissing Drew. She realized she left her cell phone on the plane and wasn’t allowed to go back to retrieve it. The EMTs worked on Brando while Kristina gave her statement to the police. Sasha and Gladys went with Brando as he was taken to GH. Sam and Drew talked about her relationship with Dante and his feelings for Carly. She and Dante left her office when Jordan received the call about the hook stabbing in the alley behind Charlie’s. Curtis asked TJ (Taj Bellows) how Jordan was doing. TJ said Jordan’s been working twenty-four seven on the stabbing case. Nikolas assured Ava if he wanted her dead she would be dead. He added that she knew he wasn’t perfect and because he could admit who he really was, that’s what made them good for eachother. Dante and Ava arrived at the alley. Sonny told them what happened and that Kristina already answered the police’s questions. Jordan said it was okay for them to go to GH to see how Brando was doing. Sonny entered Ava’s room as she was beginning to soften towards Nikolas. Sonny told Nikolas he knew he didn’t stab Ava. Sasha cried she loved him as Brando was wheeled into surgery.

Thursday

Rory (Michael Kruse), Trina (Tabyana Ali), Cameron (William Lipton) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) arrived at The Metro Court Pool. Cameron and Josslyn were talking about their classes. Rory suggested he and Trina talk about something other than classes or the weather. Trina said how they talked about Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). Drew (Cameron Mathison) was worried because Carly (Laura Wright) wasn’t returning his call. In Jacksonville, Carly (Laura Wright) met a woman named Peyton (Linda Purl). Michael (Chad Duell) met with Dex (Evan Hofer) on Pier 54 and commented Dex saved Ava’s (Maura West) life but still hadn’t won Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) trust. Sonny told Nikolas he knew he wasn’t the one who stabbed Ava because he couldn’t be in two places at once. “There’s been another attack,” Sonny told Ava and Nikolas. Nina (Cynthia Watros) arrived at GH and offered Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) her support. Michael thanked Dex for helping Josslyn with Ava but told him he couldn’t help Josslyn again. Carly got to know Peyton who was upset to see a man she knew named Joshua with a young woman who wasn’t his daughter. Trina told Rory how Spencer only pretended to believe Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) to get evidence against her. Rory asked now that she knew the truth, what did it mean for them? Sonny told Ava and Nikolas his cousin Brando (Johnny Wactor) was attacked with a meat hook similar in the way Ava was according to a witness. Sonny told them the witness was Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). TJ (Taj Bellows) came out to the waiting room to give Sasha an update about Brando’s condition. He explained the hook damaged his rib and some of the bones ended up in his lungs. The surgeons had to make sure they got out all the bones. Fortunately, Brando’s heart was affected. TJ then went back into the OR. When Peyton mentioned how the beautification society tore down Ruby Anderson’s House of Ill Repute, Carly told Peyton that Ruby was her great aunt. Suddenly, Carly realized who Peyton was. She was her friend Charlotte’s mother. Charlotte who was known as Carly. Peyton was angry as she remembered the woman in front of her as Caroline Benson, her dear daughter Carly’s friend. She recalled how young Caroline often came over to the Roberts house for sleepovers and wanted what Carly had. She accused Caroline of seducing her husband, an act that upset Carly so much she drove off and got in that fatal car crash. Peyton seethed Caroline had the nerve to take her late daughter’s name. Peyton said Caroline would never have class. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) thought Dex knew about her leukemia when he commented about all she was going through. But he was talking about her pregnancy. Michael entered and told them about Brando’s stabbing. Trina told Rory how Spencer lied to her… it showed he didn’t respect her and she wanted someone who respected her like him. Josslyn told Trina that Dex helped her find Avery’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) necklace in the dumpster. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) questioned Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) about the stabbing. Afterwards, Sonny asked the police commissioner whether his daughter was in danger. TJ told Sasha that surgery was stopped because Brando’s blood pressure dropped. Sasha told Jordan about Josslyn leaving through the alley before Brando. Despite their rare moment of honest conversation, Ava and Nikolas still couldn’t resolve their differences. Rory came to The Metro Court Pool. Josslyn told Officer Cabrea how she left through the alley behind Charlie’s to return Dex’s sunglasses. Rory told Josslyn about the stabbing. Sonny asked Dex to discreetly keep an eye on Josslyn.

Friday

Brad (Parry Shen) and Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) enjoyed a relaxing day at The Metro Court Pool. When Brad went away to get them drinks, Selina (Lydia Look) approached Britt. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came to the Quartermaine stables and told Cody (Josh Kelly) about Brando stabbing and then asked “Do you mind telling me where you were last night?” Jordan (Tanisha Harper) ran into Curtis (Donnell Turner) at GH and asked him to be careful with an assailant on the loose. “I can’t believe we’re here again” Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) commented to Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) when Portia (Brooke Kerr) appeared, Sasha asked how Brando was doing. Selina told Britt her friendship with Brad has proven to be a good thing. Britt said Brad was his own man and would soon get tired of being her errand boy. Cody told Dante he was taking care of the horses and they couldn’t provide him with an alibi. He asked whether the Chief of Police would interrogate him about this crime too. When Jordan asked whether they were good, Donnell told her he was unsure as he questioned her story about misplacing the divorce papers. He asked her to be honest about how she really felt about him and Portia marrying. Portia told Sasha that Brando came through the surgery but the damage was extensive. When she spoke with Sonny, Dr. Robinson said she was cautiously optimistic. Brad came back with the drinks. Brad and Selina started speaking in their native language which made Britt wonder whether they were talking about her. Cody gave Leo riding instructions. Jordan questioned Sonny about whether Ava and Brando were targeted because of their connection to him. Gladys visited Brando. Britt told Brad how Maxie (Kristen Storms) stopped being pro-Cody after overhearing his comment about punching Mac (John J. York). Portia asked Curtis whether it would have changed things between him and Jordan if she’d been honest with him. Dante interrupted Dex and Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) and commented how Dex always seemed to be around when things happened…he was near both Ava and Brando’s standing. Sasha sat at Brando’s bedside. He opened his eyes.
