A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) was glad to see Portia (Brooke Kerr) unpacking in their home, adding that unfortunately life gets in the way. Portia left when Stella (Vernee Watson) arrived. At Kelly’s, Trina (Tabyana Ali) told Ava (Maura West) she was about to get expelled. Spencer was using the Spy Finder App to locate Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) nanny Maggie Fitzgerald. Esme entered announcing she had a surprise for him. At The Metro Court Gardens, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) had a girls day out. Felicia asked Anna about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) who appeared. Anna had to step away to take a call. When she returned, Anna told them how Jennifer Smith was going to prison for the rest of her life as the WSB had enough evidence she was responsible for the cable car crash that caused Luke’s (Anthony Geary) death. Leo didn’t want to do his poem without Chase (Josh Swickward) there. Chase enters, apologizing for being late due to traffic saying he would have ran there before missing Leo’s reciting of his poem. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) thanked Sonny (Maurice Benard) for the flowers he sent. Sonny told Willow to let him know if there was anything he could do for her. Michael (Chad Duell) appeared and said Willow didn’t need anything from Sonny. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) tried to play mediator and Michael walked away. Sonny told Dante he was there to see Avery’s dance recital and had no intention of leaving because his son didn’t want him there. Esme told Spencer she planned a romantic picnic and a ride. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) entered. Spencer declined and left. Esme continued to play on Nikolas’ sympathies crying how she and Spencer haven’t been able to get back to where they were in their relationship. Trina told Ava how PCU could expel her and their investigator was independent of the trial verdict. Portia ran into Spencer outside of Kelly’s. When he asked how Trina was doing, Portia angrily reminded the young Cassadine how all Trina got for defending himself and being a friend was a ruined life because of him and his girlfriend. Nervous at first, Leo remembered Chase’s tip and focused only on him so he was able to recite his poem. Curtis was angry to learn his Aunt Stella and his mother knew Marshall (Robert Gossett) was alive but led him and Tommy to believe their dad was dead. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Michael offered Ned (Wally Kurth) a COO position at Aurora once the merger went through. Ned called the role an administrative one and didn’t like it one bit when Drew and Michael added there may also be other COOs. Later, Ned ran into Valentin. Ava saw Portia confronting Spencer and ordered inside Kelly’s. Trina thanked her mother for looking out for her. Esme told Nikolas she felt protected with him. “I’m sorry Ava can’t see you the way I do,” Esme said. “And what way is that?” Nikolas asked.

Tuesday

Someone watched while Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) talked about Leo’s performance. Carly (Laura Wright) asked Sam (Kelly Monaco) what she found out about Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Esme told Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) Ava (Maura West) was ungrateful. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) told Ava that Trina (Tabyana Ali) had protectors she didn’t even know about. Brando (Johnny Wactor) said he was lucky to be out with the two most exotic women he knew (his mother and his wife). Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) asked Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) what she was going to order. Sasha said she wasn’t hungry. She was distracted because she saw the photographer. Gladys pretended she was going to track down a waiter to take their order. But instead she grabbed the photographer and dragged him from the bar. Pretending she knew about his deal with Sasha, Gladys got the man to delete the incriminating photo of Sasha from his camera and the internal memory. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) took Ned (Wally Kurth) back to his hotel room. He said they were in the same boat at ELQ and needed to work together to make sure they didn’t end up adrift. Valentin said he’d grown to care about ELQ and knew it was Ned’s children’s birthright. But Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Michael didn’t share their feelings. Even though they needed investors to raise the stock, Michael refused to let Carly investor because she was no longer using Corinthos money and wouldn’t let her risk her own. Olivia (Lisa LoCiciero) got Brook Lynn to admit she had feelings for Chase. Valentin said they’d talk again when Ned left for Leo’s birthday party. Sam told Carly how Esme came from old money with trust funds set up for the children. But there wasn’t much else to go on. Ava vowed to Spencer she’d make Esme pay for hurting Trina. Nikolas told Esme she couldn’t disrespect his wife. Esme apologized, adding Ava didn’t appreciate him. Sam came to Kelly’s. She asked Spencer: Who was Esme Prince? Sam added how Spencer chose to believe Esme. Spencer called Esme a monster and promised to tell Sam everything. But first she had to swear on her oath as a Cassadine not to tell anyone. He called Sam a good Cassadine. After Sam swore, Spencer admitted he was pretending to be in love with Esme while gathering evidence against her. Esme told Nikolas how Spencer was looking through her things because he didn’t trust her. Ava returned home and issued Esme a warning when she mentioned Kiki’s (Hayley Erin). Brook Lynn was overcome with emotion when accompanied on the guitar by Ned, Chase sang her song. Spencer told Sam about the pills Esme used to drug Trina and about the letters from Esme’s nanny Maggie. Sam said Spencer did go; she had some good leads to go on. Sam warned Spencer to watch his back and called him one of the good Cassadines. Ava again ordered Nikolas to throw Esme out the house. Gladys returned to the table and lied to Brando she was gone so long because she was playing online bingo on her phone. When Brando walked away, Gladys told Sasha she convinced the photographer to delete the photos. Then, she put Sasha’s pill bottle on the table. Just as Chase and Brook Lynn decided to go somewhere to talk, her sleazy former manager Linc (who was the person watching them earlier) interrupted. Valentin called Martin (Michael E. Knight) and said he thinks he got Ned over to their side. Ava returned to Kelly’ and offered to loosen the purse strings and give Spencer ten thousand dollars a month if he and Esme left Wyndemere. Meanwhile, Esme pretended to pack a bag to leave. But after Nikolas insisted she stay, Esme opened her suitcase to reveal the only thing she packed was the Cartullo’s shoe box containing Maggie’s letters.

Wednesday

Linc told Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) he had something to discuss that couldn’t wait. Curtis (Donnell Turner) came to Portia’s (Brooke Kerr) office and GH and she rushed into his arms. TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Haley Pullos) were in Brooklyn to meet with music store owner Mr. Purdy to get a lead on Marshall’s (Robert Gossett) whereabouts. Brando (Johnny Wactor) looked at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) car. Sonny apologized for pulling Brando from his dinner with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Gladys put the pill bottle on the table and told Sasha she knew she was back on drugs. Linc said he recognized the song Chase sang as one of Brook Lynn’s. He commented he couldn’t wait to get into production with it. Linc reminded Brook Lynn he owned her. When Sasha continued to deny being back on drugs again, Gladys said she would have to go to Brando. Brando talked about working on cars with Mike (Max Gail). Sonny wished he had worked on cars with his dad when he was younger. Mr. Purdy arrived at the restaurant. TJ showed him Marshall’s clarinet. Mr. Purdy remembered fixing the instrument but didn’t know anything about the owner. Since TJ was paying for dinner, he ordered the meatloaf special and coffee. Portia told Curtis her worry about the damaging Title 9 report Trina (Tabyana Ali) received. Curtis said he was leaving, saying Marshall wasn’t the only person who lied to him. Sonny told Brando he was still having problems with Michael. Linc reminded Brook Lynn her contract states anything she wrote while he was her producer is his property. He said some of her songs have gathered interest. Linc told Brook Lynn he’d tell her more if she re-signed with him. Gladys told Sasha she saw all the photos on the memory card. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) arrived and told Curtis about TJ and Molly going to BrookLyn to find Marshall. Mr. Purdy admitted to knowing Marshall who went by a different last name. Sasha assured Gladys she wasn’t high when she hit Harmony (Inga Candranel). Sasha told Gladys she felt like everyone was watching her and feeling sorry for her over Liam’s death so she needed something to help her get through it. When he suggested she come up to his room to discuss her contract, Brook Lynn punched Linc. He commented about her liking it rough and said she knew where to find him. After Linc left, Chase asked whether he was right about her contract. Brando told Sonny it would be a loss for Michael if he didn’t reconcile with his father. When Gladys worried Sasha’s drug problem could trigger Brando’s own addiction, Sasha assured she’d never do anything to hurt Brando and could handle it. Curtis called TJ and told him he’s coming to BrookLyn to help in the search for Marshall. When they were alone, Jordan told Portia she was lucky to have Curtis. Marshall entered the restaurant where TJ and Molly were. Sonny said his car now purred like a kitten and thanked Brando for fixing it. Sasha and Gladys arrived. Sasha announced to Brando that Gladys was moving in with them.

Thursday

At GH, Carly (Laura Wright) was asking for how long it would take for the results of a DNA test to come in, Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) approached and asked what test she was waiting for. Nina (Cynthia Watros) came to The Savoy to get a drink to take her mind off the hearing tomorrow. A man came up and called her Mafia Homewrecker. “Does that make you the new mob boss?” He asked. Sonny (Maurice Benard) told the man if he had a problem with the lady, he had a problem with her. Stella (Vernee Watson) joined Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) in Dr. Robinson’s office. Portia commented Stella was doing better from her recent panic attack. Portia added that Curtis (Donnell Turner) told her everything. Marshall (Robert Gossett) told TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Haley Pullos) how Purdy told him they were there. TJ asked whether they came for nothing. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) was at Kelly’s with Violet (Jophelle Love) and commented how her youth is what an older guy like him wished he were. Violet drew a picture of Chase (Josh Swickward) and her grandfather and asked where her daddy was. At the Collins home, Finn (Michael Easton) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) he knows how easy it is to believe she was being contacted by a lost loved one. Suddenly, a vase of flowers tumbled to the floor. Elizabeth told Finn, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura (Genie Francis) it was Franco (Roger Howarth) who was probably angry no one but her believes it was him. Elizabeth was angry when Finn seemed doubtful, she told him “I don’t want you here.” Finn left. Epiphany told Portia and Stella she was going to medical school. The man apologized for offending Nina then left. Nina and Sonny started talking about the article and his relationship with Michael when Portia, Stella and Epiphany entered. In reference to The Invader article, Nina told the women not to believe everything they read. Sonny had drinks sent over for them. Marshall understood why TJ and Molly came. Before Molly left, she told Marshall how important he was to their family. Marshall agreed to take TJ to one of his old haunts. Bobbie reminded Carly how Sonny had a rescuer complex and the article could push him closer to Nina. Sonny assured Nina he wasn’t choosing her over his family and if Michael (Chad Duell) didn’t understand that it was his problem. Carly and Bobbie arrived at The Savoy. TJ and Marshall were accosted by robbers in an alley in Brooklyn. One of the men demanded their wallets and cell phones. But TJ refused when he asked for Marshall’s clarinet saying it was his grandfather’s passion. The man pulled out a knife. Finn joined his dad and daughter at Kelly’s. Laura told Kevin that Elizabeth wasn’t in her room. Meanwhile, Elizabeth appeared trancelike when she returned to her house and tore Finn and Violet out of the drawing Violet drew.

Friday

At The Savoy, Carly (Laura Wright) urged her mother to stop glaring at Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny (Maurice Benard). “If it doesn’t affect Donna, I don’t care,” Carly assured. But Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) wanted to give them a piece of her mind. At Kelly’s, Finn (Maurice Benard) told Gregory (Gregory Harrison) the only person present at all scenes was Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) herself. Meanwhile, Elizabeth appeared trancelike and tore Finn and Violet out of the drawing Violet drew. At The Savoy while looking at Jordan (Tanisha Harper), Taggert (Real Andrews) told Portia (Brooke Kerr) the only reason Trina (Tabyana Ali) is facing a trial is because of their esteemed commissioner. TJ (Taj Bellows) and Marshall (Robert Gossett) fought off the muggers. Carly told Bobbie to keep her indignation between them. Gregory couldn’t believe Finn thought Elizabeth was stalking herself especially since Finn said she was a good mom…why would she create a situation where it wouldn’t be safe for her and her boys to live at their house? Cameron (William Lipton) returned home and found his mom cutting up the drawing. Wiley offered to read his mom a bedtime story when Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) said she couldn’t sleep. The mugger cut Marshall with the knife and he fell to the ground. Suddenly, Curtis (Donnell Turner) appeared and joined the fray and one of the muggers ran off. Molly appeared worried when TJ and Marshall never showed up at the club. Sonny asked whether Carly was sick when he heard her and Bobbie talking about the test results. Bobbie came over to the bar and told Nina there won’t be a hearing tomorrow if she listened to her. Michael assured Willow that Nina won’t get to see Wiley. TJ, Curtis and Molly were at NY Methodist awaiting word on Marshall’s condition. The doctor appeared and asked whether Marshall was taking any medications. Scared when his mom didn’t answer him while he was talking to her, Cameron called Finn. Elizabeth finally snapped out of it. She didn’t know how she got home. Cameron told her how he found her cutting up the picture and she didn’t answer when he called out to her. Finn told Elizabeth he thinks the person who’s been disrupting her life is her. Finn told Elizabeth she may be experiencing a form of sleepwalking. Jordan told Portia and Taggert the Title 9 report won’t be entered during Trina’s trial. Carly assured Sonny she wasn’t sick. After she reminded Bobbie of her less than stellar pass, Bobbie threw a drink in Nina’s face. Michael and Willow made love. Elizabeth cried in Finn’s arms how she couldn’t believe she was the one doing this to her family. Portia brushed it off when Jordan questioned her about saying something about telling Trina the truth about her father. Curtis was allowed to visit Marshall. Carly promised Bobbie she’d give Nina hell at the hearing.
