A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“I’m going to be at the hearing. But I’m going to be testifying on Nina’s behalf not Michael’s” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Michael (Chad Duell) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) the hearing was the only way to prevent Nina (Cynthia Watros) from seeing Wiley. Nina told Maxie (Kristen Storms) it’s past the point of compromise with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael. Carly (Laura Wright) took a calming yoga class that became less calm when Brad (Parry Shen) entered with Britt (Kelly Thiebauld). Brad urged Carly to make peace with Nina for Wiley’s sake. Finn (Michael Easton) told Chase (Josh Swickward) how Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) sleeping walking caused her to be the person she thought was stalking her. Terry (Cassandra James) arranged for some neurological tests for Elizabeth with the results revealing medication caused her to participate in the episodes. Brad reminded Carly how Wiley could grow up and resent Nina being kept out of his life. TJ (Taj Bellows) told Curtis (Donnell Turner) he searched Marshall’s (Robert Gossett) room and found the medication he was taking was antipsychotic. Elizabeth asked Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) whether there could be something mentally causing her to sleep walk. Kevin commented that her emotional state could be responsible. Willow and Michael arrived at the courthouse. Michael reminded Maxie how legally Peter (Wes Ramsey) would have had rights to Bailey if he hadn’t committed a crime that got him killed. Nina apologized to Willow for a comment she made about Harmony (Inga Candranel) stealing her from her biological parents. Dante suggested Sonny give Michael a chance to come around. Curtis got to see his father and told Marshall neither of them were going anywhere. Elizabeth announced she had a way to keep her family safe. Brook Lynn was angry when she heard a version of her song Linc got recorded. Maxie had to leave to pick James up from daycare. Sonny arrived for the hearing. Carly received a text the test results were ready for her to pick up.

Tuesday

Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) talked about Linc ruining her song and his claim to ownership. Carly (Laura Wright) received a text her test results were ready to pick up. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) took Violet to the park. “Put that down and play with me” Violet demanded when he looked at the newspaper. He threw the frisbee. “Did I hit someone?” Gregory asked. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) walked up to him with the frisbee and said it was a good thing she wasn’t a lawyer anymore. At GH, Laura (Genie Francis) asked Cameron (William Lipton) about Elizabeth. Although she wasn’t talking about ghosts any longer, Cam thought his mom being the one doing everything was worse. Elizabeth told Finn (Michael Easton) she was a danger to those she loved, that’s why she had to go away and stay away. Marshall (Robert Gossett) awoke and found Curtis (Donnell Turner) at his bedside. They talked about what happened in the alley. Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) and Scott (Kin Shriner) discouraged Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen), Michael (Chad Duell) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) from engaging and fraternizing with the enemy. Willow and Michael told Diane to do whatever it took to win while Nina told Scott she was all in. Brook Lynn told Chase he was part of her plan to get her songs back. Elizabeth told Finn he had to let her go so she’d get better. She asked Cameron to understand this was the best thing for her because she didn’t want to risk hurting him or Jake and Aiden. Gregory told Alexis he wasn’t a fan of The Invader, adding at least with the former version you knew where you stood. Alexis suggested Gregory send in an opinion to The Invader. Curtis told Marshall he was his father and he’d never lose him. TJ (Taj Bellows) and then Stella (Vernee Watson) entered. Stella took the first flight out when she learned what happened. Curtis tried to convince Marshall to return to Port Charles with them. After they left Marshall, Curtis commented about the antipsychotic medication, adding that Stella knew about the drugs. After Stella said it wasn’t her secret to tell, Marshall realized it was time he gave Curtis the answers his son’s been seeking. Court was in session with Judge Foster taking the bench. Scott began citing case precedents. Then Nina was called to the stand to say in her own words why she felt she deserved visitation with her grandson Wiley because he was all she had left of her daughter Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier). She wanted a chance to prove she was a good grandmother with her actions. Scott commented on how Wiley’s other grandparents Sonny Cornithos and the late Harmony Miller (Inga Candranel) were considered dangerous but she was? Diane had some questions for the petitioner, citing The Invader article and asking if Nina wanting to see Wiley was more about getting revenge against Carly Cornithos. Brook Lynn wanted Chase to use the last two weeks of his suspension to tail Linc. But Chase didn’t want to risk his career or break any laws that could include coercion. When she called her songs her babies, Chase said it was more about her music…it was about Bailey. Sunny asked Scott to put him on the stand. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) suggested Elizabeth go to Shady Brooke for treatment and perhaps she could continue as an outpatient after her stay at the facility if needed. Elizabeth said see you later to those she loved then left for Shady Brooke. Marcus announced he was going home with his family. Brook Lynn insisted it had nothing to do with Bailey and said it was about taking her life back. And if Chase wouldn’t help her, she’s do it herself. Scott called Sonny to the stand.

Wednesday

Due to ongoing breaking news coverage, today’s scheduled episode of General Hospital will air tomorrow. #GH

Thursday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) took the stand in the visitation hearing. After thanking him for his testimony, Scott (Kin Shriner) said “Let’s just cut to the chase. Why don’t you tell us about your relationship with Nina in Nixon Falls?” Amy (Risa Dorken) thought about when she learned Chet was dating her boss Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James). Outside Kelly’s, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) comforted Cameron (William Lipton) who said he was worried about his mom. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) called Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) entitled like his son when he reminded her he was a GH benefactor who could get patient information when he asked about Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) told Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) they were moving out of Wyndemere. Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) joined Ava (Maura West) at The Metro Court bar. Rory came to see Trina (Tabyana Ali) at the Jerome Gallery to see how she was doing. Britt told Nikolas how rude and unkind Spencer was to hear when she wouldn’t give him her way. Spencer told Esme how Ava agreed to give him ten thousand a month if they moved out. Trina told Rory about her worry over the Title 9 report. Rory suggested they go to the planetarium. But Trina said no because she didn’t want to bring him down. Chet told Amy about a job offer that would take him away from Port Charles. He was torn because he’s been seeing someone. Chet told his sister Terry was the woman he was dating. Terry interrupted Britt and Nikolas and confirmed Elizabeth would have to update him on her condition when she returned. After Nikolas left, Britt went back to Terry’s office and told her how Spencer treated her, adding the once precocious kid has now become just like the other Cassadines. Spencer suggested they get two bedrooms. When Nikolas returned home and told them about Elizabeth, Spencer left to see how Cameron was doing. Esme told Nikolas she and Spencer were moving out because Ava is giving Spence access to ten thousand dollars a month from his trust fund. Ava told Victor that Jennifer Smith was charged with the cable car crash and Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) death. Spencer offered Cameron his support over the situation with Webber’s mother. After he left, Josslyn commented that it’s funny how Spencer can be a friend to him but not to Trina. Josslyn suggested breaking Esme and Spencer up as a way to help Trina. But Cameron said that wouldn’t be a good idea because it could backfire. Spencer looked upset when he again saw Officer Rory with Trina at the Jerome Gallery. Sonny testified that he was the one he chose to remain in Nixon Falls and had forgiven Nina. When Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) brought up the circumstances of Avery’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) birth, Sonny said Nina was sick and made mistakes she’d have to live with the same as him. As he took his seat, Sonny felt he made things worse. Michael wondered what Baldwin was up to when Scott called him to the stand. Then asked what happened between him and Claudia Zaccaria (Sarah Brown).

Friday

Scott (Kin Shriner) asked Michael (Chad Duell) how it felt killing Claudia Zaccara. Spencer watched as Rory and Trina (Tabyana Ali) discussed a painting. They were alerted to his presence when he almost knocked over a sculpture. “Is this a bad time?” Spencer asked. “Whatever you two are conducting will have to wait. I need to talk to my wife” Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) said as he interrupted Ava (Maura West) and Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) at The Metro Court. Chet told Terry (Cassandra Randolph) he received a job offer for a position he didn’t apply for…his resume was submitted to a headhunter. Scott submitted Claudia’s autopsy report into evidence, then asked how Michael felt after he bashed in the head of a woman several feet shorter than him with an ax. Michael said he felt relief to see his baby sister back in his mother’s arms. Carly (Laura Wright) glanced in Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) direction as Michael gave his testimony. Spencer apologized for interrupting, saying he was there to make his court ordered restitution. Trina said he couldn’t today because Ava said she could close the gallery early. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) left a voicemail for Spencer asking whether he was returning soon. “Before I get into trouble” Esme smirked after hanging up. Nikolas told Victor how Ava drove Spencer away. Amy (Risa Dorken) listened as Chet told him about the job as Director of Outreach for the VA. He told Terry the job was in Chicago. Suddenly, Amy rushed in and said Chet couldn’t take the job. Ava told Nikolas by choosing to take the money from his trust fund Spencer showed Nikolas exactly who he was. Nikolas told Trina how Ava was giving him access to his trust fund if he and Esme moved out. Trina commented how Spencer chose money over making things right with his father. Spencer said moving out was helping his father. Scott told the court that snatching a child from its family was Michael’s MO. Rory arrived at The Metro Court Pool and said he had a Day Pass which gave members of the PCPD a discount. Rory said he needed lounge chairs for two because someone would be joining him. Spencer asked with all she had to worry about why Trina cared about him and his father. Esme wrote a letter to Maggie. Victor left after Nikolas said this was between him and his wife. Amy confessed to having Chet’s resume submitted when she found out he was dating her boss. Scott told the court Nina and her daughter Nelle (Chloe Lanier) were Michael’s victims. Scott insinuated Nelle (Chloe Lanier) may have feared he’d do to Wiley what he did to Claudia. He added the look of anger on Michael’s face said it all. Nikolas told Ava she’s asking him to choose between his wife and his family. “I thought I was your family” Ava said sadly. Spencer returned to Wyndemere and seemed angry after telling her Cameron’s (William Lipton) mother was having a breakdown. Esme commented how Trina must have upset him. Trina came to The Metro Court Pool and asked for a lounge. She was told all the lounges were taken. Trina watched Rory get out of the pool. Michael told the court Nina was more interested in redeeming Nelle than Wiley’s best interest. Amy told Chet how she was thinking about herself when she learned he was dating her boss. But realized Terry could be what he needed. Ava told Nikolas she was the best thing that ever happened to him and hoped it wasn’t too late before he realized it. Diane entered both Michael and Nelle’s criminal records into evidence. Judge Foster called a recess and requested both attorneys in her chambers. Trina thanked Rory for taking her mind off the Title 9 report. When Victor returned, Ava told him her marriage may truly be over. Nina apologized to Sonny for what happened in court, adding she wanted to take the high road. Sonny left the courtroom. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) returned and grabbed Nina’s arm and said she wasn’t going anywhere.
