A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“Elizabeth?” Jeff said, shocked. “Dad you weren’t supposed to be here” Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) replied. Then, her mother Carolyn entered. “Lizzie…is it really you?” Carolyn asked and hugged her daughter. At GH, Alexis (Nancy Grahan) asked when she saw Heather Webber (Alley Mills) “Who let you out?” Robert (Tristan Rogers) brought Holly (Emma Samms) a cup of coffee. Holly thanked Robert for giving her the bed and sleeping on the couch. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) finally got to see Charlotte. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) called Valentin and told him Anna’s (Finola Hughes) had been arrested. Felicia told him Anna wanted him to stay in Switzerland with Charlotte. Felicia said Victor wouldn’t get away with it. She found him standing behind her when she hung up the phone. Anna told Jordan (Tanisha Harper) she had to get out of the cell so she could put Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) in it. Jordan commented how things worked out for Trina (Tabyana Ali) and will for her too. Martin (Michael E. Knight) asked Scott (Kin Shriner) to refer to Lucy (Lynn Herring) in the present tense until they know otherwise. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) asked Finn (Michael Easton) whether he could decline treating Heather. But unfortunately as a doctor, he didn’t have that option. When Finn came in to treat Heather, she confronted him for dating her beloved son Franco’s widow, that slut Elizabeth. Finn told Heather she’s come into contact with a flesh eating bacteria. Liz told her parents she was there to find out whether she was okay. She confronted them about being more concerned with saving the planet than being there for their daughter. They were there for all the important moments in her life. At her arraignment despite Scott’s best efforts, Anna’s best as an agent and in law enforcement was used against her and the judge denied bail. Holly told her she’d break her out of jail if necessary. Valentin tried to pay off Victor’s guard in order to ditch him but the man threw the cash on the floor. Valentin landed a punch but then the man grabbed and twisted his hand. Fortunately, a nun knocked the man out. The nun turned out to be Laura (Genie Francis) who saved the day.

Tuesday

At the Halloween Festival, Carly (Laura Wright) was talking with Sam (Kelly Monaco) when she noticed Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) acting like a family with Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna. Drew (Cameron Mathison) brought Scout to visit grandma Alexis (Nancy Grahan) at her office at The Invader so she could see her Halloween costume. Finn (Michael E. Knight) visited Anna (Finola Hughes) at PCPD lockup. Anna told him occupational hazards cause bail to be denied. And unfortunately, it’s going to get worse. Holly (Emma Samms) asked Robert (Tristan Rogers) how they’d break Anna out because with her record as a decorated law enforcement agent, she’ll be a target once transferred to Pentonville. Elizabeth asked her parents what happened on Mariana Island and “Who is Reiko Finn?” Laura (Genie Francis) told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) Anna called her and told her to get to Switzerland. She offered to grab Charlotte and get out of there. They ran into a man as they were leaving the chapel. Valentin lied the Sister was about to show him the bell tower. The man commented he didn’t recognize Laura. “What’s your name Sister?” After Sam took Avery and Donna away, Carly asked Sonny to respect her wishes and not have Nina there for a sleepover when the girls were over. “Your boundaries aren’t working for me anymore” Sonny said because now Nina was in his life. He asked whether Carly was seeing anyone. Jeff (William R. Moses) confessed when they were in Doctors Without Borders, he and Reiko Finn had an affair. Laura lied she was Sister Margaret. She suggested the man pray outside in order to find God in nature. But when he heard the man she knocked out moan, he pulled out his gun. Valentin was able to knock the man out. Then, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) entered dressed as a priest saying he was waiting in the car. But when Laura didn’t return with Valentin and Charlotte, Kevin thought they could use an assist. Sam asked Carly about Florida. Carly told Sam she was now Carly Spencer. Sam questioned why Carly hasn’t mentioned anything about Drew. Alexis hypothetically told Drew his scenario about the CEO’s friend buying stock could be considered insider trading, especially if the friend knew about the merger ahead of time and the friendship was more than a casual one. Holly and Robert arrived at The Halloween Festival. When Holly walked away to get hot cider, Sonny offered to help keep Anna out of Pentonville. Holly spoke with someone on the phone and said she was keeping an eye on Robert. Anna asked Finn how things were going with Elizabeth. Jeff first lied; he pushed Reiko down the stairs until Carolyn told him it was time Elizabeth knew the truth. Jeff told Elizabeth she was the one who pushed Reiko down the stairs.

Wednesday

“It was you Elizabeth…you caused Reiko to fall down the stairs” Jeff (William R. Moses) told his daughter. But Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) refused to believe him…both of them and regretted coming there. Drew (Cameron Mathison) interrupted before Carly (Laura Wright) could tell Sam (Kelly Monaco) about their relationship. While eating lightly buttered popcorn with cajun seasoning, Trina (Tabyana Ali) asked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) about her weekend. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) invited Cody (Josh Kelly) to join her, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and Scott (Kin Shriner) at Charlie’s. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) called Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and told the person on the phone to tell the police commissioner “I just got a letter from the hook killer. Josslyn told Trina she and Cameron (William Lipton) slept together but something was missing. Trina urges Josslyn not to let Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) ruin things between her and Cam. Liesl took her daughter aside to talk. Scott told Cody he wasn’t fooled by him. Cody told Scott he found out how much he loved his mother so he wanted a do-over. Britt asked Liesl to give Cody a chance. Liesl asked whether she told Cody about her diagnosis. Britt said they didn’t know each other well enough. Drew only told Sam about the stuff trying to stop the beautiful guild. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) appeared and Drew pulled Carly aside. He told Carly she couldn’t tell Sam about them. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan arrived at Alexis’ office at The Invader. Dante read the letter. Jordan realized the letter was typed using an old typewriter and told Dante to check out the lead. Drew told Carly how if their relationship was made public, they both could face ramifications from insider trading. So in the meantime, they’d had to not be seen in public. Elizabeth remembered arguing with Reiko and her falling down the stairs. Jeff told Elizabeth the transfusion Reiko had after the fall was how she contracted her disease. Sam asked Spinelli to help her find information about Cody Bell. Cody told Britt, Scott and Liesl he intended to stay in Port Charles. Trina told Josslyn about thinking about Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) while making out with Rory (Michael Kruse). Josslyn told Trina she and Cameron visited Spencer in Pentonville. Jordan arrived. After kissing Drew goodnight, Carly entered and was surprised to see Jordan. Commissioner Ashford announced Brando was killed by mistake…Josslyn was the intended target. And all the victims had one thing in common…a connection to Trina.

Thursday

Holly (Emma Samms) told Robert (Tristan Rogers) she was tired and going to bed when he walked her to the door. At Charlie’s, fans took photos with Chase (Josh Swickward). Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) asked him how he felt about not retiring after this was over. Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) enjoyed spending time together. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) told Carly (Laura Wright), Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) it was looking like the hook killer was targeting everyone connected to Trina. Maxie (Kristen Storms) canceled her date with Austin (Roger Howarth). Mac (John J. York) told Felicia (Kristina Wagner) only Robert was coming over because Holly was tired. Meanwhile, Holly left her hotel room. Maxie hugged Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) happy to see she was doing better. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Maxie it was time she returned to work. At GH, Austin spoke with Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) who commanded they come to town with huge chips on their shoulder. But now they care about others. Mason interrupted. Carly asked Jordan whether Josslyn was in danger. “Is Esme back and killing people with a hook?” Trina asked. Portia received a text from Olivia and told Curtis The Metro Court was available for their wedding but it had to be February 14, 2023. While Portia thought it didn’t give them much time to plan a wedding, Curtis felt it was doable. Robert told Mac and Felicia something felt off about Holly. Victor met Holly on the bridge. She told him Robert wanted to get a new judge who was sympathetic to granting Anna bail. Victor warned if she didn’t stick to her part of the bargain, he’d do the same to her as he did to Lucy Coe. Jordan said although Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was a reasonable suspect, it was too early to rule anyone else out. She told Trina and Josslyn she shouldn’t go back to PCU. Victor told Holly she was free once Anna was convicted of Lucy’s murder. Jordan suggested Trina and Josslyn leave the dorm because it was too public. Portia finally agreed to get married on Valentine’s Day. Gladys didn’t want to sign off as Sasha’s guardian on the business plan for Deception. But then she consented, adding she only wanted to do what was best for Sasha. Chase met Blaise, the singer Linc wanted him to record with. Robert hit Mac upside the head when he learned Cody Bell could be his brother’s son and Mac hadn’t told him. Sasha told Gladys she had to sign off to keep Deception afloat. Robert came to see Holly and was surprised to run into her outside her hotel room. Holly lied she went for a walk because she couldn’t sleep. They shared a kiss. After Blaise left with Linc, Brook Lynn told Chase the best thing to neutralize Linc was to make Chase the next big thing. Jordan brought Trina home and updated Curtis and Portia on the police’s working theory. Austin told Mason he paid his debt and wanted out. Mac admitted to Felicia he wanted the chance to be Cody’s father. “There’s something I haven’t told you” Holly said. Victor was sent a photo of the necklace Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) found in Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) safe deposit box. Holly told Robert the thought of seeing his face again was what kept her going.

Friday

Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and Michael (Chad Duell) enjoyed a date night at Charlie’s. He apologized for missing her doctor’s appointment. Willow lied it was a routine appointment. Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) shared an ice cream sundae. She told Sonny because he was important to her and so were his kids. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) spoke with someone on the phone and told he wanted Society Setups shut down. Maxie (Kristen Storms) walked in on Austin (Roger Howarth) and Mason. Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) they needed to let Trina’s father know she was in danger. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) realized Cameron (William Lipton) could be in danger and left him an urgent voicemail. Meanwhile, Cameron was on the bridge when he heard someone approaching. “Who’s there?” he asked. Austin lied that Mason wanted his help with a billing problem. Jordan said Trina needed to lead a normal life until they caught the hook killer. Josslyn wanted to go to Kelly’s to make sure Cameron was okay. Drew (Cameron Mathison) was the person Cameron heard. They talked about missing Oscar. As Dex (Evan Hofer) waited outside, Nina commented she couldn’t get used to having a bodyguard. Jordan said since their divorce was final nothing was standing in their way when Portia told her they set the wedding date for February 14th. Carly told Josslyn she’d go to Kelly’s to check on Cameron. Drew talked about how he wanted to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to spread Oscar’s ashes. He received a call from Carly who told him Josslyn was worried about Cameron. Carly asked Drew to swing by Kelly’s. Drew told her Cameron was with him on the footbridge. After Curtis left the room, Portia told Jordan if Curtis had the genetic markers for schizophrenia, she’d decide what to do next. Because she was vague on the phone, Drew came to Carly’s house. Michael suggested he and Willow get married. Maxie tells Spinelli the right woman was out there. Josslyn found Dex outside Kelly’s. He said Sonny was inside with Nina. Cameron arrived and Josslyn told him about the police’s theory. Dex said that this was too important for Josslyn to allow her pride not to let Sonny know. So, Dex, Cameron and Josslyn entered Kelly’s where Josslyn told Sonny someone was trying to kill her and Cameron. Austin asked Spinelli to create a profile for him and Maxie. Drew offered to drive Carly when she realized Josslyn went to Kelly’s. When they opened the door, Sonny and Josslyn were standing there. Carly told Josslyn to go inside. Cameron told Dex he could get home by himself. Sonny explained Josslyn told him the police’s theory so he brought her home and told Dex to make sure Cameron got home safely. Carly thanked Sonny and said goodnight. She told Drew that Sonny should see him leave too. Josslyn was speechless when she saw her mother and Drew kissing.
