A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) sat on a park bench. “No matter how much attitude Josslyn gives me, I’m going to always look out for her and her mother” Sonny told Nina, “Turns out Carly had all the help she needed.” Also in the park were Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen), Michael (Chad Duell) and Wiley, who enjoyed playing with the leaves. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) returned home and asked Terry (Cassandra James) how she was going to tell Finn (Michael Easton). Cameron (William Lipton) came downstairs and asked his mother whether she got the answers she needed. Anna (Finola Hughes) was relieved when Laura (Genie Francis) brought Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to her cell. They kissed. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) caught Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) trying to escape and told her it was no use. Holly (Emma Samms) read a text from Victor (Charles Shaughnessey) where he asked for information about the plan for Anna’s defense. He commented he was losing patience. Nina talked about how Carly (Laura Wright) didn’t want her near Donna. Willow told Michael she wonders how Wiley will handle being a big brother. Michael assured it would be okay because he had them. Elizabeth told Terry she was furious with her parents. Heather (Alley Mills) flirted with Finn. Valentin told Anna that Victor must have figured out they were working together so he wanted him out of the way. He told her how Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and Laura helped him bring Charlotte home. Laura told Anna she’s going to let the public know they had the wrong suspect. Valentin vowed he’d help Anns get out of there. But Anna reminded she was being transferred to Pentonville tonight. TJ (Taj Bellows) approached Willow and Michael at the park. When Michael walked away to take a call, Willow told TJ after she got her test results she’s going to tell Michael she had leukemia. Valentin arrived at GH and told Finn they had to move up their timetable for the plan they discussed. Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby threatened to demand Robert’s resignation because he’s using the system to help his ex. She added until Mayor Collins graced them with her presence, she was the mayor. Laura heard what Eileen said and told the deputy mayor DA Scorpio has given many years of service to Port Charles. Nina and Sonny ran into Wiley, Michael and Willow in the park and Wiley immediately ran to his grandmother. In order to avoid an altercation, Nina and Sonny walked away. Willow asked TJ to take her to GH and said Michael could join her later when Wiley’s babysitter was delayed. Nikolas was surprised to see Victor at Wyndemere. Victor hinted he may let Nikolas into the inner circle of people who knew about his plans. Laura told Robert that Holly may know more than she’s saying. Cameron told his mother about the police theory that anyone connected to Trina’s trial was being targeted by the hook killer. Elizabeth was later surprised when Finn arrived. Terry told Willow she was now Stage 4. Esme tied sheets together to make a rope. Victor got word Charlotte was gone from the school. Then, Laura entered. A guard told Anna she wasn’t going to Pentonville.

Tuesday

“So, do you know where that necklace came from?” Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) asked Sam (Kelly Monaco) when she came to her office at GH. Cody (Josh Kelly), Mac (Joh J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) came to GH for the DNA results. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) admitted to Finn (Michael Easton) she didn’t go to a medical conference; she went to see her parents. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) prepared to climb out the window. Laura told Victor (Charles Charles Shaughnessy) she brought Charlotte home with her and Valentin was back too and would be getting in touch with him. The cop told Anna that Dr. Finn wanted her there for a phlebotomy treatment. Valentin left a voicemail for Sonny (Maurice Benard) telling him Anna was being transferred to Pentonville tonight so they had to act fast. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) worried she waited too long for chemo and could die. Anna smiled when Valentin entered the examination room “Your Uncle Victor can turn on you at any time” Laura warned. Nikolas assured he could handle his Uncle Victor and that he had nothing to do with the breakup of his marriage because he cheated on his wife. Willow’s HLA blood levels needed to be tested in order to determine whether there’s a donor who could donate bone marrow. The reality was Stage 4 hit Willow hard. Michael accused Nina of lying when she said Willow was cheating on her with TJ. Sonny warned Michael to watch what came out of his mouth next. Michael told Nina and Sonny to stay away from his family before walking away. Valentin told Anna what the plan was to delay her transfer to Pentonville. He urged her to be careful. “See you on the other side,” Anna said. Elizabeth told Finn about pushing a woman down the stairs. “Time to go,” the cop told Anna. Sam told Britt four of the diamonds came from The Ice Princess. Elizabeth told Finn how her parents conspired to help repress her memories. She sadly said after she told Finn what she’s been keeping from him he’d never look at her the same again. Laura offered support to her son as he told her about the brief affair he had, adding the woman meant nothing to him and wouldn’t be a problem. Mac and Cody found they shared a dislike of glamping. Britt told Cody the necklace they found was worth thirty-five million. And if Peter (Wes Ramsey) stole it from Leopold Taub and he turned out to be Taub’s son it belonged to him. Dex smiled as he told Anna “I’d be your ride.” Unfortunately for the escape plan, the van to take Heather (Alley Mills) to the prison for the criminally insane broke down and she had to join Anna’s transport. Michael walked in on TJ comforting Willow. Elizabeth confessed to Finn the woman she pushed down the stairs was Reiko. Cody was handed the DNA test results. Mac and Felicia awaited him to read it. Nikolas found the tied sheets hanging out the window. Esme started to leave Wyndemere but decided not to leave until she made Nikolas pay. When the police officer pulled out a gun after he went past the turn to the prison for the criminally insane, Dex fought him for it and the van crashed.

Wednesday

“The doctor I argued with…the one who fell down the stairs, it was Reiko,” Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Finn (Michael Easton). Cody (Josh Kelly) told Mac (John J. York) he wasn’t his father. “The Scorpio gee pool remains pristine,” Cody added. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) spoke on the phone with someone about Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) escaping. “What did I just walk on here?” Michael (Chad Duell) asked when he walked in on TJ (Taj Bellows) and Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) hugging. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) waited for Anna (Finola Hughes) to arrive at the rendezvous point. Sonny (Maurice Benard) left a voicemail for Dex (Evan Hofer). “What about Anna?” Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) asked at hearing the end of the conversation. Meanwhile, Dex, the cop and Anna were unconscious in the prison transport. After Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) walked away, Cody asked Mac whether they could be friends. When Britt returned, Cody said he got what he deserved. Mac admitted to Felicia he was disappointed Cody wasn’t his son. Willow assured Michael he wasn’t having an affair. She asked TJ to speak with Michaell alone. After TJ left the room, Willow told Michael she had leukemia but waited on having chemo until after the second trimester. Sonny told Dante he was making sure Anna would be looked over once she arrived at Pentonville. Dante left when he received a call. Hearing on the police scanner about the delay of the prison transport, Valentin drove to the location. Dex regained consciousness and went to check on Anna. She had a head wound but nothing serious. Anna realized Heather was missing. Finn couldn’t believe it when Elizabeth told him Reiko had an affair with her father. He said he was sorry and then left. Mac left GH when he received the call about the prison transport. Felicia wished Cody the best. TJ ran into Sonny at GH and assured him he and Willow weren’t having an affair, adding Nina was just trying to start trouble. Willow explained to Michael how she didn’t tell him and made the decision to wait to give their baby a chance to develop. Plus, she wanted to enjoy the time with him and Wiley. Michael told Willow it was always her decision. Valentin arrived at the crash site and told Anna they had to leave. They waited on the road a bit in order to avoid the police. Mac and Dante investigated the accident scene. An APB was issued: Heather was classified as dangerous…Anna was not. A woman with a hook attacked Nikolas. She got away. Thinking it Esme, Nikolas said “You should have killed me when you had the chance.” Cody looked at the DNA test which revealed a 99.9999% match…Mac was his father. Dex had a gunshot wound. Nikolas took after Esme vowing she wouldn’t get away. Finn sat on the floor of his office looking at the photo of him and Reiko on his cellphone. Esme was on the pier but hid when she saw someone coming. It was Elizabeth.

Thursday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Ava (Maura West) were at the PC Grill. Ava suggested Nina go make amends when she told her about the accusation she made Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) was cheating. Michael (Chad Duell) told Willow she wasn’t covering this burden alone…she had him, their baby and Wiley. He asked her to be honest from now on. “I hear the BLTs are to die for” Heather (Alley Mills) said when Cameron (William Lipton) asked whether he could get something for her when she was at Kelly’s. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) were at the prison transport crash site. Jordan told Dante the actual transport driver was found at an empty lot with a bag over his head. “I’m not alone” Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) said when she heard a noise. “You got that right you’re not…I’m here” Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) said when she walked out of the shadows. Elizabeth called 911. Esme tried to grab the phone. Elizabeth backed away but slipped and fell, hitting her head. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) heard a noise and when she opened the door, found Dex (Evan Hofer) outside bleeding. Cameron made Heather a BLT. She talked about when he, Emma and Spencer were children and asked about Spencer. She laughed when she learned the entitled Spencer was in Pentonville. Jordan left for Pier 55 when she got a call about Esme Prince being spotted. When he walked away to get ketchup for Heather, Cameron called Dante from the kitchen to tell him Heather Webber was at Kelly’s. Josslyn got a first aid kit and sewed Dex’s wound. She urged him not to pass out because it would pen his stitches. Nina came to GH and apologized to Willow. When she asked what she could do to make amends, Willow answered “You could die.” Then, she and Michael left. Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) arrived on Pier 55 and pulled Esme away from a semi conscious Elizabeth. The last thing Liz saw and heard before passing out was Nikolas saying “Trust me.” Dante arrived at Kelly’s. “What took you so long?” Heather asked. She praised Cameron for making a big portion of food so she could take it ‘home.’ Esme taunted Nikolas that once Elizabeth regained consciousness and remembered she didn’t imagine seeing her (Esme) and remembered he was there, it was over for Nikolas. Victor had his people trying to find Valentin. He joined Ava at the PC Grill and reminded her that her marriage was over. Jordan came to GH to question Elizabeth about seeing Esme. Nikolas told Esme once she gave birth, he was done with her. After he left the room, Esme commented he shouldn’t be so sure. Josslyn hid a bloody piece of gauze when Michael and Willow returned home. When she walked outside, Josslyn found a bloody leaf and realized Dex was bleeding again.

Friday

Anna (Finola Hughes) pulled out her gun when someone arrived at the safe house. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) took a look, nodded and opened the door. It was Sonny (Maurice Benard). Josslyn (Eden McCoy) spoke with her mother on the phone and assured she was walked back her to her dorm. She glanced over at the bed at a sleeping Dex (Evan Hofer). At Kelly’s, Cameron (William Lipton) told Trina (Tabyana Ali) he was worried because Josslyn hasn’t responded to any of his messages. Laura (Genie Francis) visited Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) in Pentonville. Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) struggled to put change in the vending machine due to a shaking hand. Austin (Roger Howarth) noticed. US Marshal Agent Whitten (Mike Pebbler) barged into Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) office and announced he was taking over the case for the missing fugitive and demanded everything she had on Anna Devane. Cameron told Trina how his mom spotted Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) on the pier and hit her head when Esme tried to reach for her phone. Cameron told Trina she knew where to find Spencer. Spencer was glad to see his grandmother but told Laura she shouldn’t have come. Agent Whitten told Jordan how Deputy Mayor Ashby contacted him to take over the case as she felt the resources of the Port Charles police were stretched too thin. Britt told Austin she knew why her hand shook…she had Huntington’s Disease. Laura told her grandson how Esme was seen on the pier and the police are looking for her. Laura also asked why Spencer and his father were still estranged. “Ask your son,” Spencer said, adding Esme when she was found. Sonny told Anna he had no idea where Dex would go without his help. Josslyn told Dex how she found him and brought him back to her dorm room. Since everyone thought he was a drunken frat boy, no one questioned the condition he was in. She asked Dex to promise to stay put. Josslyn called Trina and told her not to come back to the room because they were spraying for bed bugs. She said she’d call Cameron later because she had to clear some more stuff out of the room. Adam (Joshua Benard) appeared and asked Josslyn what a bed bug looked like. Austin encouraged Britt to let those who cared about her support her. Sonny arrived at Jordan’s office. Agent Whitten asked whether he knew of Anna’s whereabouts then warned if she didn’t turn herself in voluntarily he had ordered to take her down. After Whitten left, Sonny told Jordan it was better Anna stayed on the road and out of Pentonville. Spencer left the visitor’s room when the guard told him his time was up. But before Laura left, the guard said there was someone else who wanted to speak with her. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) entered. He told his sister how he was getting to know Spencer. Cyrus also told Laura it was better that Anna stayed on the run because he had it on good authority Olivia Jerome was planning a special welcome when Anna arrived at Pentonville. Agent Whitten told someone they’d find Anna by keeping an eye on someone close to her then looked at Valentin’s photo in a file. Anna urged Valentin to return to Port Charles because the longer he stayed with her he was risking going to prison. He gave her the Cassadine signet ring. Dex panicked when Josslyn’s RA knocked on her dorm room door. Spencer was happily surprised when he was told he had another visitor and saw Trina.
