A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“Hey, what do you have there?” Ava (Maura West) asked when she found Nina (Cynthia Watros) going through Britt’s (Kelly Thiebauld) things. Willow (Katleyn MacMullen) told Michael (Chad Duell) she was hopeful for their family’s future. Martin (Michael E. Knight) told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) he wouldn’t allow them to speak with his client and sought Chief of Staff Terry’s (Cassandra James) assistance. At Kelly’s, Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told someone at work she wouldn’t be in because she had a family matter to attend to as Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) entered. Sonny (Maurice Benard) entered Wyndemere with Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) who needed to pick up a few things. Sonny told Victor (Charles Shauhnessy) Spencer was staying with him. Victor said he refused to let Sonny put Spencer’s future in jeopardy. Spencer told Victor he couldn’t stay there now that he’s learned his father got Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) pregnant. Terry told Finn (Michael Easton) to go with Dante and Jordan when they questioned Esme and contact her if anything was off. After the group walked away, Terry told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) she couldn’t believe Britt was gone. Alexis was shocked when Nikolas told her Esme was pregnant and he was the father. Willow asked Michael whether he includes Sonny as part of his family. Nina told Ava she was going through Britt’s things to separate her personal files from GH’s. Victor reluctantly allowed Spencer to stay with Sonny. Nikolas told Alexis he wanted full custody of his child. Finn gave the all clear for Dante and Jordan to speak with Esme. Jordan told Ms. Prince she was a Person of Interest in several ongoing cases. Ava told Nina that Esme was pregnant with Nikolas’ baby. Terry met Willow and Michael and told Willow her red blood count numbers weren’t where she liked them to be. Fortunately, the baby was healthy. Terry told Willow she had to be strong for what came next. Ava told Nina that Victor would help her get Wyndemere. Nina told Ava she would miss her when she left. They commented how they’d never expected they feel that way with each other. Victor told Sonny he wanted him to use his influence to prove to Spencer it was in his best interest to repair his relationship with his father. Victor agreed with Sonny that Nikolas hasn’t been a good father to Spencer but Sonny should understand given the state of his own relationship with his son. Sonny warned if Victor ever mentioned his family again, it would be the last words he’d ever say. Regardless of how awful Esme is, Alexis refused to allow another Cassadine to take a child away from its mother like Sam (Kelly Monaco) was taken from her. Dante showed Esme photos of Cameron (William Lipton), Josslyn (Eden McCoy), Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Oz. But Esme said she didn’t recognize any of those people. When they stepped out in the hall, Dante told Jordan just because she couldn’t remember didn’t make Esme less guilty. But he didn’t believe she was the hook killer. Elizabeth told Finn she had something to tell him about Esme. Terry recommended Willow have the bone marrow transplant after she gave birth, adding at eight months pregnant she could have a healthy baby. But of course, Dr. Navarro would have to give her recommendation. “I don’t think I can go through with it,” Willow told Michael. Alexis commented how Nikolas seemed focused on this new baby…did that mean he’s given up on Spencer, the son he already had? Jordan interrupted before Elizabeth had the chance to tell Finn about Esme. Elizabeth said when she saw Esme on the pier she didn’t notice she was pregnant. Dante added as an Obgyn, Britt would have noticed if the hook was pregnant when they fought and that wasn’t in the statement she gave to the police. Before he left with his things, Spencer told his Uncle Victor how he ran into Dimitris coming from the north tower. Alexis told Nikolas she’d give him a referral for an attorney who handles difficult custody cases. Sonny entered Nina’s apartment. Ava told him she was taking Wyndemere from Nikolas before leaving the room to take a call. Terry told Willow and Michael because the bone marrow donor didn’t have a physical exam done, the transplant couldn’t take place. But they wouldn’t give up exploring other treatment options until a new donor could be found. Martin told Esme if she could establish an alibi for where she’s been these last six months it would help her case. Finn told Dante and Jordan his belief Esme was hiding out on Spoon Island. When Nikolas returned home, Victor held up a charred Christmas ornament and demanded he tell him what’s been going on in the north tower.

Tuesday

Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) enjoyed family time with Wiley and Michael (Chad Duell). Drew (Cameron Mathison) had a question for Carly (Laura Wright) “Why don’t you want me to find Willow’s birth parents?” Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came to Dex’s (Evan Hofer) apartment experiencing survivor’s guide for Britt’s (Kelly Thiebauld) death. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) asked whether she could trust her attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). At GH, Spencer (Nikolas Chavez) told Laura (Genie Francis) if Esme was responsible for Britt’s death they needed to hold her accountable. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) arrived at Wyndemere. Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) confronted Nikolas about hiding Esme in the north tower. When Dante and Jordan arrived and requested to search the premises, Nikolas protested. But Victor suggested his nephew cooperate with the police and go with them so they don’t get lost in the huge house. Sonny (Maurice Benard) found Willow’s medical file and showed it to Nina (Cynthia Watros). They decided to do what they could to help. Nina realized Willow was diagnosed in August when she was Stage 2 but waited to get chemo in November when she was Stage 4 because of the baby. Nina thought about Wiley being without a mother if Willow died. Willow asked Michael whether he was angry with her for making a decision about her treatment that affected his plans for their future. Dex and Josslyn made love again. Spencer came to visit Esme. He told her that he knew her and that she came to town with him as his girlfriend. He lied he could be the father of her baby. Dante told Jordan about the room he found cleaned down with disinfectant and freshly painted. Victor told Nikolas how he planned to keep some evidence in case his nephew got out of line. Josslyn came to Sonny’s office. Someone knocked on the door after Michael put Willow to bed. It was Nina who said it wouldn’t take long but she wanted to talk about Wiley. Carly admitted to Drew she’s been sabotaging his efforts to find Willow’s birth parents. First by paying off Denise, then taking the information on Josiah before he could see it. Drew blurted out Willow had leukemia. Carly said it wouldn’t be necessary for Drew to look for Willow’s birth parents any more. “Nina is Willow’s mother,” Carly confessed.

Wednesday

Chase (Josh Swickward) was working out when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) arrived for yoga class. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) couldn’t concentrate on music and told Cody (Josh Kelly) she was singing the blues. Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) he was there for her and Michael (Chad Duell) because he knew they were going through a difficult time. Carly (Laura Wright) admitted to Drew (Cameron Mathison) the DNA came back positive. “So you lied to me again,” Drew said. After Gladys walked out the room, Sasha and Chase talked about whether Gladys was forcing her into selling Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) garage. Cody commented about Chase and Brook Lynn breaking up. Nina told Michael she knew Willow had leukemia and how they chose the new baby over Wiley. But Wiley was her business especially if Wiley died. Josslyn was shocked when Sonny told her about Willow’s leukemia. Dex entered and offered to take Josslyn home. Carly explained that Willow didn’t want to know who her birth mother was for fear she’d turn out to be someone like Nina. Drew said she kept the secret from him because she knew what she was doing was wrong. While he drove, Josslyn told him about her first serious boyfriend Oscar who died when he was sixteen from cancer. With Cody’s urging, Brook Lynn asked Chase to come over to work on the fixed version of the song he was singing in the morning. She changed into a sexy dress. Brook Lynn wasn’t happy when Sasha tagged along. Gladys came to see Sonny and told him it was important for Sasha to accept the $300,000 offer for Brando’s garage. Willow had a dream where she and Michael brought their daughter home. Michael said he was grateful she beat cancer and delivered their daughter happy and healthy. Soon the dream turns into a nightmare: Nina told a weakened Willow she was taking Wiley and the new baby because Willow was too sick to care for them and Michael was too busy with work. When she came downstairs and found Nina there, Willow hysterically told Nina she wasn’t getting her children. Then, Willow passed out. Drew told Carly how he was developing feelings for her. But how could their relationship continue to develop with lies between them? Nina called Carly and told her about Willow passing out and being taken to GH.

Thursday

Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Carly (Laura Wright) rushed into the ER of GH where they were joined by Josslyn (Eden McCoy) who Carly called. Carly asked TJ (Taj Bellows) about Willow’s condition. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came to Kelly’s and found Cameron (William Lipton) overcleaning a table. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) found Gregory (Gregory Harrison) in her office and asked what’s going on. Nina (Cynthia Watros) assured Wiley his mommy and baby sister would be okay. Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) were outside the gatehouse. Brook Lynn commented to Chase how Nina was taking advantage and Willow wouldn’t want her there. Michael (Chad Duell) watched Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) sleeping and said he couldn’t lose her. Gregory told Alexis he enjoyed being at The Invader when a news story broke. And being able to spend time with her was a plus. Cameron told Elizabeth he hoped Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) got the book thrown at her for all she’s done. Elizabeth asked what was going on with him because this didn’t sound like him. Cameron told his mother Josslyn broke up with him, adding Esme taking that video of him and Joss caused them never to get back to where they were. Sonny arrived and told Wiley grandpa was here and everything was going to be okay. When Chase and Brook Lynn entered and Wiley left the room, Sonny told them Willow had leukemia. Since Chase and Brook Lynn were there to watch Wiley, Nina and Sonny left for GH. Alexis encouraged Gregory to pursue reporting as a second chance career. Cody (Josh Kelly) and Sasha (Sofia Mattesson) had briscotta. Sasha told him about her emotional breakdown and her mother-in-law Gladys being assigned her guardian. Cody commented he knew a woman named Gladys. Dr. Navarro and Terry (Cassandra James) provided an update on Willow’s condition. Dr. Navarro said the baby was fine and she would monitor her condition and work along with Dr. Randolph on her treatment. Nina and Sonny went to the chapel to say a prayer. Carly sat by Willow’s bedside and apologized saying she never meant for this to happen and urging her to wake up. After she left the room, Carly asked Drew to tell Michael and say she was sorry then she went to find Nina. Cody and Sasha toasted heroes Brando (Johnny Wactor) and Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) with biscotti. Chase read Wiley and bedtime sorry and saw he and Brook Lynn were asleep. He promised to watch over them. Josslyn sat by Willow’s bedside. Drew told Michael there was something he didn’t know. Carly came to the GH chapel. Sonny left when she asked to speak with Nina alone.

Friday

Trina (Tabyana Ali) was distracted texting while playing cards with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brooke Kerr). She told her mother she was texting Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). “Spencer needs me.” Spencer thanked Alexis (Nancy Grahan) for coming over. He commented about there being someone more sick than Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Sonny (Maurice Benard) agreed to sit with Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) because Josslyn (Eden McCoy) promised Michael (Chad Duell) she wouldn’t leave Willow alone. Drew (Cameron Mathison) told Michael his mother was with Nina (Cynthia Watros). At the GH chapel, Carly (Laura Wright) told Nina “You may be the only one who can help her.” Trina told her mother and Curtis how she had conflicting feelings about Esme: She wants justice and revenge. Spencer told Alexis he’s unsure whether Esme is faking her amnesia. Josslyn arrived at the PCPD. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told Josslyn they had some questions for her and showed her into the interrogation room. She found Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) waiting. “What’s this?” Josslyn asked. Drew told Michael that Nina was Willow’s mother. Portia urged Trina not to get back involved with the Cassadines because they are dangerous…especially to themselves. But Trina assured his time in Pentonville had changed Spencer. Michael came to see Willow. Sonny explained how Josslyn had to leave and didn’t want Willow to be alone. Michael thanked him and Sonny left. Dante showed Josslyn video surveillance of Pier 54 taken on December 31st at 11:57, fifteen minutes before Britt (Kelly Thiebauld) arrived to fight off the hook. Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) entered, stressing Josslyn not to answer any more questions. She requested to speak with her client alone. Dante, Jordan and Robert waited outside the interrogation room until Diane told them her client was now ready. Josslyn admitted to being on Pier 55 and trying to fight off the hook but couldn’t because she was wearing heels. She explained how she was on the ground until Britt fought the hook off with her purse and told her to run. Josslyn said she didn’t come to the police because of some family stuff going on. Once they were alone, Dante asked about the family stuff. Carly told Nina that Nelle (Chloe Benson) wasn’t her only daughter; Willow was too. She explained how Nina had twins…one given to Frank Benson…the other to Harmony. Carly then told Nina she had proof as she had a DNA test run using hair from Willow and a glass Nina drank from at Charlie’s. Carly told Nina she could hate her all she wanted but didn’t have time to get another DNA run…she needed to have her bone marrow tested to save Willow’s life. Nina thought about moments she spent with Willow during their rocky relationship. Calling Carly an evil bitch for keeping her child away from her, Nina left the chapel to save her daughter. Spencer assured Alexis he wouldn’t hold it against the baby having his father and Esme for parents. Spencer gave Alexis information about Esme’s former nanny Maggie hoping it will lead to discovering Esme’s birth parents. Portia vowed to Curtis she’d make sure Trina didn’t bring Spencer back into her life. Carly stopped Sonny from badgering Drew into telling him why Carly was with Nina. Willow woke up and told Michael she wanted Nina kept away from Wiley. Nina entered Willow’s hospital room.
