A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) asked Nina (Cynthia Watros) whether she’s spoken with her aunt Liesl (Kathleen Gati) about donating her bone marrow to Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). Michael (Chad Duell) brought Willow to GH for a medical meeting about the bone marrow donation. Liesl told Willow she couldn’t save her daughter Britta’s (Kelly Thiebauld) life, but wanted to save hers. “Like it or not you’re one of us now” Liesl told Willow. Austin (Roger Howarth) met with Mason. Nina approached Ava who was thinking about speaking with Austin when she thought Nikolas (Adam Huss) was dead. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) told Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) the baby’s mother had something to say about where her son lived. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) asked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to give her instructions on how to be a good mother. Elizabeth said she may think otherwise after Esme heard what she had to say. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Gregory (Gregory Harrison) working for The Invader couldn’t be a conflict of interest since he didn’t have a job with PCU. She admitted to speaking with Dean Jeffries. Alexis added if Gregory didn’t feel he could trust her to share information, she’d have to re-evaluate their friendship. Terry (Cassandra James) told Liesl, Michael and Willow to her office to go over what happened next. Ava hugged Nina when she told her Liesl was a bone marrow match for Willow. Mason told Austin he followed him to Spoon Island and saw everything. Austin asked Mason what he wanted. The child services rep told Laura (Genie Francis), Spencer and Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) how Esme filed a petition to keep her baby with her. And some facilities allowed a mother to keep her baby up to eighteen months. Elizabeth told Esme how she helped Nikolas keep her prisoner in a tower at Wyndemere. Elizabeth explained she ran into her on the pier and how she hit her head after they struggled for her phone when she attempted to call the police. Liz added about Esme jumping up the terret to escape. Esme asked Elizabeth to tell her whether she took such a risky action because she was trying to get rid of the baby. Spencer reluctantly handed over his brother then went to speak with Esme. He overheard Elizabeth tell Esme her memory loss gave her the chance to start over. Spencer said that was good advice. Elizabeth told them to put the baby first then left. Esme told Spencer he was just like his father so she was keeping her baby from him. Liesl told Willow how she developed a closer relationship with Britta the last couple of years and wished she and Nina could do the same. Ava told Sonny how Nikolas threatened to take Avery from her. Sonny vowed there was nowhere Nikolas could hide if he threatened his daughter. Alexis told Gregory she understood why he chose to keep information from her. Victor threatened to tell the authorities about her role in keeping Esme prisoner unless Elizabeth told him where Nikolas was. Elizabeth smiled and said he could go ahead, adding she didn’t know were Nikolas was. Willow told Michael if the bone marrow transplant worked, she would have to decide whether Nina had a place in her life. Just then, Nina arrived at GH.

Tuesday

Drew (Cameron Mathison) came to see Carly (Laura Wright) and she told him they had the house to themselves. Marshall (Robert Gossett) was at GH to get the results of his genetic testing. He told Portia (Brooke Kerr) he wanted to talk about Curtis (Donnell Turner). Alexis (Nancy Grahan) ran into Curtis at GH and told him his wedding present may be late. Curtis urged her to save her money. Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) asked Michael (Chad Duell) to leave her alone to speak with Nina (Cynthia Watros) alone. Austin (Roger Howarth) interrupted Ava (Maura West) and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) conversation. After they walked away, Sonny told Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) he’s going to find out what Ava’s keeping from her. Mason listened as Ava told Austin getting help from Sonny may not be so bad. Molly (Haley Pullos) met TJ (Taj Bellows) at Charlie’s. “Did you take it? Are we having a baby?” TJ asked Molly. When Molly revealed the test was negative, TJ admitted although they weren’t planning on having children any time soon he was a little disappointed. Curtis wouldn’t go into any details with Alexis, who suggested they go to Charlie’s. Michael received a text from Dex (Evan Hofer) asking for him to meet him on the roof. When he arrived, Dex told him how Sonny was onto him because he kept him out of the latest meeting with the Pipeman Group. But when he mentioned how he shared a meal with Sonny who talked about Gloria Cerillo, Michael assured Dex he had nothing to worry about. Carly told Drew she was making brownies for Willow. They discussed keeping their romance secret to avoid possible charges from the SEC. Marshall reminded Portia how she was there for him. Portia was relieved her lie didn’t ruin things between them. Willow made it clear to Nina that talking about the kids was off limits. Instead, she told her about Liesl’s tests to rule she can be her donor. When Willow mentioned her brittle nails, Nina gave her a Crimson nail strengthener. Alexis and Curtis arrived at Charlie’s. Both Molly and TJ admitted to Alexis and Curtis they wanted to have a baby before admitting it to each other. Mason made his blackmail intentions known to Ava. Then, he put his number in her phone and warned her that she better answer when he called. Marshall asked Curtis to come to the hospital to be there when he got his results of the genetic testing. Drew considered giving up his position at ELQ if it will protect him and Carly from legal action from the SEC. But they decided to focus on romance and ended up in bed. Nina returned to The Metro Court as Sonny was talking with Olivia about how Drew and Carly had to keep their romance a secret to avoid possible legal actions brought against them by the SEC.

Wednesday

“Mom, are you okay?” Cameron (William Lipton) asked when he returned home and found Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) sleeping on the couch. When Laura (Genie Francis) came to see her, Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) said she didn’t trust her after Nurse Baldwin told her the truth about her son. Trina (Tabayna Ali) came to GH and ran into Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) sat down with Liesl (Kathleen Gati) at The Metro Court. “Have at it,” he said, knowing she wanted to insult him. Robert (Tristan Rogers) brought a blindfolded Eileen into the hideout. She was surprised to see Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was alive and asked about Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). Valentin said they’d tell her everything she wanted to know once they determined how useful she was to them. Portia (Brooke Kerr) pleaded with Curtis (Donnell Turner) not to leave when he arrived at GH. Trina gave Spencer the baby blanket she brought for his little brother. He told her things have gone from bad to worse. Laura apologized for not telling Esme the truth about Nikolas (Adam Huss) holding her hostage. She assured that although she is Spencer’s grandmother, she’s on Esme’s baby side because he’s also her grandson. Curtis told Portia he was staying at The Metro Court and wasn’t ready to come home yet. Portia asked whether he and Trina decided on taking a DNA test. Eileen told Anna (Finola Hughes), Robert and Valentin how Victor’s made it clear they weren’t partners and she worked for him. Anna got the feeling Victor and Eileen’s relationship was more personal than she was hinting. Cameron told Elizabeth he was accepted to Stanford and offered a full scholarship. Elizabeth confessed to Cameron about knowing where Esme was when the police were looking for her, how Nikolas kept her locked in a room in the north tower of Wydemere and about her immunity deal. She wanted her son to tell her how he was feeling. Victor gloated when learning Liesl was angry with Scott (Kin Shriner). Eileen explained Victor confided in her when they were in bed and how he needed the Ice Princess diamond in the necklace that was destroyed to help him find some place he’s been looking for awhile. Marshall learned he didn’t have any of the markers for schizophrenia. Spencer told Trina how Esme intends to take his baby brother with her back when she goes to prison. The guard interrupted Esme and Laura and told them she was being transferred back to Spring Ridge tonight and her baby was coming with her. Trina suggested Spencer go talk with his grandmother when they saw Laura leaving Esme’s room. Trina spoke with her mom and told Portia although she wasn’t ready to start sharing her life with her again, she missed her. Cameron told Elizabeth he knew how hard it must have been to come forward and confess her actions to the police, adding she is a good person. Elizabeth hugged him and said she was lucky to have Cameron for a son. Laura told Spencer she couldn’t talk Esme out of taking the baby to Spring Ridge with her. Spencer vowed to take Esme to court to get custody of his little brother. Marshall couldn’t believe he’d be diagnosed falsely and told Curtis he owed Portia for encouraging him to find out the truth. Portia told Esme she’d prepare her release papers. Anna and Valentin discussed the code Victor must have been looking for on The Ice Princess not releasing Luke (Tony Geary) had the diamond cut up and sold the pieces. Anna and Valentin vowed to find the code before Victor. Liesl told Victor she’d hadn’t forgotten all he’s done to her…he would never touch her again. So when Eileen approaches him and apologizes for their quarrel, handing him her room key, Victor takes it with a smile. Laura, Trina and Spencer walked towards the elevator when Esme was wheeled out of her GH hospital room holding her son. She told Laura she could visit them at Spring Ridge. After the elevator door closed, Spencer vowed to do anything in his power to keep his little brother from being raised by that lunatic.

Thursday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) questioned Nina (Cynthia Watros) when he overheard her asking the bartender Jamie at The Metro Court under what circumstances would cause the SEC to bring charges. Trina came to the Jerome Gallery and told Ava it was like her second and has become more important than her first. Selina cornered Curtis on the elevator and commented how she expected to hear from him after her nephew delivered her nuptials gift. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) didn’t like that Lucy (Lynn Herring) used up all the hot water while Anna (Finola Hughes) reminded Lucy to stay away from the window. Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) got dressed while Eileen remained in bed. Sasha (Sofia Mattesson) came to the Quartermaine stables and commented how good Cody (Josh Kelly) was with the horses and said she was there to thank him. Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) was at Charlie’s telling Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) how she’s worked for GH for forty-five years and the hospital is celebrating its sixth anniversary. Lucy was getting steer crazy being cooped up with Anna and Valentin. Eileen told Victor to let her in and she’d get anything he wanted. Selina met with Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) who had the deed to Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) garage. Selina told Gladys her debt was paid and the rest could be deposited into a business account for her use towards future games. But Gladys said she was through with all of that. Maxie suggested throwing the biggest Nurses Ball Port Charles has ever seen in honor of GH’s anniversary. She was confident she could organize everything for the ball in a month and get corporate sponsors. Maxie even had an idea on a co-chair. Sasha thanked Cody for not giving her up to the desk sergeant when she pretended to be Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) lawyer. Eileen told Victor she could get the unredacted report from the cabin fire that left Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) injured. After she left the hotel room, Eileen called Anna. Curtis interrupted Nina and Sonny and said he couldn’t accept the comp room at The Metro Court that Nina gave as a wedding present saying he and Portia (Brooke Kerr) may not be married much longer. Felicia arrived at the hideout. When she mentioned the Nurses Ball, Lucy said there couldn’t be a Nurses Ball without her. Gladys told Sonny that Ms. Wu had the deed to the garage. Curtis told Nina he wanted to know for certain if Trina has his mother’s eyes and is his daughter. Ava told Trina she may understand her mother’s actions when she’s older. Eileen met with Anna’s contact who turned out to be Laura. Mayor Collins admitted to Eileen they were onto her for a while but waited to expose her until she was of use to them. Eileen told Laura how she took Victor to bed so she could convince him of their closeness to get him to trust her. But he couldn’t perform. Selina joined Victor at the bar of The Metro Court and asked the bartender to put Mr. Cassadine’s drink on her tab. Victor took the defensive when Selina commented about him having an off night. Upon learning Bobbie will be Maxie’s Nurses Ball co-chair, Lucy vowed not to let Bobbie Spencer take anything else from her again. Sasha questioned what Cody heard when he mentioned the sale of Brando’s garage. Sonny asked Gladys whether Sasha was okay about selling the garage to Selina. Eileen told Laura about promising to get the redacted file of the cabin fire for Victor. Laura smiled and said they’d give Victor what he wanted. Selina called Holly and told her the drug she gave her to give to Victor Cassadine was taking effect.

Friday

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) made Dex (Evan Hofer) something to eat. Sasha (Sofia Mattesson) asked Cody (Josh Kelly) who he heard discussing the garage. Sonny assured Gladys he wasn’t getting worked up about whether Sasha approved of her selling the garage. But she’d know when he was worked up. Mac (John J. York) gave Michael (Chad Duell) a form to sign saying the PCPD has returned everything they took for the Quartermaine boathouse while investigating the hook killer. Maxie (Kristen Storms) arrived at the Q mansion and said it was appropriate Ned (Wally Kurth) answered the door. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Carly (Laura Wright) continued to enjoy being a couple. Josslyn was surprised to learn Dex could cook. He promised once the job working with Sonny was over, by this summer able to focus on spending more time with her and getting to know her. Sonny told Gladys he could help if Ms. Wu (Lydia Look) was pressuring her. Gladys assured everything was fine. Cody told Sasha how he overheard her mother-in-law discussing selling the garage but suggested she ask Gladys. Sasha intended to do just that and texted her mother-in-law. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Mac she may have a bone marrow donor. He left when Maxie entered to discuss reviving the Nurses Ball for GH’s 60th anniversary. She told Ned and Michael how she needed their help with corporate sponsorship and entertainment. Nina told Ava about the secret Drew and Carly are keeping concerning when their relationship started. Ava asked Nina whether it bothered her that Sonny knew and was keeping it from her. Sonny met with Dex at The Metro Court and told him the reason he shut him out of the meeting discussing the Pipeman Group was because if things went south and he wasn’t involved, he couldn’t blame Dex. But Sonny did ask Dex to go with him to assess the warehouse where the merchandise was being stored for vulnerabilities. Sasha confronted Gladys about selling the garage. Gladys explained she had to do it for herself because of the pain it was causing her seeing bills with Brando’s name and getting calls about it. Sasha may have lost her husband, but she lost her son. Mac came to the Quartermaine stables and apologized for not returning any of Cody’s messages. Cody said he called because he thought Mac needed to talk about how hard it was taking a life, even though justified as a cop. Drew told Ned with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) gone they have an opportunity to regain control of ELQ by convincing Laura (Genie Francis) to sell them back Charlotte’s shares. He added he also intended to step down from ELQ. Ava realized Drew and Carly were trying to keep their relationship quiet because she knew about the ELQ and Aurora Media merger and that made it insider trading. The question is what would Ava do with the information? Mac told Cody he felt guilty for killing Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) because he was his best friend’s (Kevin also Lindstrom) brother. The results of Cody’s DNA fell out of his pocket when he got off the chair. Mac picked it up and started to open it. Josslyn came to see her mother and commented how happy Carly was with Drew. The conversation shifted to Dex. Carly told Josslyn the only way for Dex to get out of the mob fully was through death. Dex gave Sonny his assessment of the warehouse. He pushed Sonny to the floor when he noticed a sniper.
