A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) discover Lucy (Lynn Herring) missing. Lucy stepped off the elevator at The Metro Court. Fortunately, Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) approaching his grand uncle Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) saying he wanted to speak with him gave Ms. Coe a chance to hide out on the terrace where she heard Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) telling Maxie (Kristen Storms) she hoped Lucy was smiling wherever she was she was smiling seeing how well they were handling arrangements for the Nurses Ball without her. Dex (Evan Hofer) told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) how Sonny (Maurice Benard) saving his life made him rethink some things about the man. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Drew she needed his help with something. Nina (Cynthia Watros) asked Sonny whether Donna was not saying it was because of her. Michael left Willow and Drew alone to have privacy to talk. Carly (Laura Wright) told Nina that although she didn’t want her around her daughter, it had nothing to do with her. Donna ran out and asked Nina whether they were having a sleepover. Valentin wanted to take Charlotte and leave for fear his father was into him. But Anna said they weren’t going anywhere. Lucy hid behind a menu and listened as Bobbie and Maxie talked about doing a better job planning the Nurses Ball than Lucy. Spencer asked for his Uncle Victor’s help with protecting his brother. Dex told Josslyn how Sonny violating federal laws goes against anything he believed in. Sonny and Carly told Donna the sleepover would happen soon. “What just happened?” Nina asked Sonny after Carly and Donna left. Josslyn told Dex he could always leave town. Willow asked Drew to walk her down the aisle. Michael told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) his fear Willow would be too weak by the time the bone marrow transplant took place. Valentin accused Anna of not wanting to abort the plan because she knew she made a mistake having Lucy as an asset. Bobbie confronted Victor saying he’d pay for the role he played in Luke’s (Anthony Geary) death. Maxie went upstairs when she was told there was something wrong with the alarm in the Deception offices. She went upstairs to reset it and was grabbed from behind. Maxie used a self defense move and was surprised to see her assailant was Lucy. She was relieved Lucy was alive. Lucy told Maxie although she had to stay in hiding, Maxie could be her eyes and ears as far as the Nurses Ball was concerned. Sonny told Nina there was an attempt on his life so neither his children or her could see him. Bobbie encouraged Spencer to realize Victor was responsible for Luke’s death. “Aren’t you supposed to be dead?” Carly asked when she saw Valentin on the bridge. Since he was the last of the deadly departed she’d conjured up as a hallucination, Carly demanded Valentin give her a reason to keep quiet that he was alive. Valentin told her how they are trying to prove Victor was responsible for her Uncle Luke’s death. Sonny talked about Lily and Morgan’s deaths from car bombs meant for him and he wouldn’t go through that again. But Sonny promised a future for them. Spencer told Bobbie he was giving his Uncle Victor the benefit of the doubt. After Bobbie walked away, Spencer asked what Victor would do to help him gain custody of his little brother. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) wanted Willow to be hopeful things would work out for her and Michael. Dex and Josslyn were in a state of undress on the couch. Josslyn said if she knew who his mystery employer was she’d thank him for bringing Dex to town, then she’d slap him for putting him in danger. Just then, Michael knocked on the door. Anna came to the Deception offices and ordered Lucy to come with her. Valentin told Carly if he didn’t trust him, she could trust Drew who knew how dangerous Victor was after being held captive at the Cassadine compound. Drew appeared and demanded Valentin tell him everything about the plan to get Victor.

Tuesday

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) to see whether his father was okay. Dex (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) got dressed. Dex opened the door and let Michael (Chad Duell) in. “So it all makes sense…you’re Dex’s mystery boss?” Josslyn asked Michael. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) admitted to Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) she was still in love with Chase (Josh Swickard) who arrived at the door holding flowers. Anna (Finola Hughes) ordered Lucy (Lynn Herring) back to the safe house, reminding her what would happen if Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) realized she was still alive and asked whether she wanted that on her head. Drew (Cameron Mathison) told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) if Victor employed the same tactics he used in Crete, Valentin would need someone with military background on their side. “Do you have someone in mind?” Valentin asked. “Yeah..me” Drew answered. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Anna how Lucy already came up with a plan for the Nurses Ball. Valentin told Drew about Victor’s plan that involved a necklace with diamonds from the Ice Princess. Chase gave the daffodils to Willow, who told him they decided to postpone the wedding until after the bone marrow transplant. “Brook Lynn has been a huge help.” Josslyn told Michael she already knew Dex was gathering evidence against Sonny and Pipeman. The only thing she didn’t know was who Dex was working for. “Now I do,” Josslyn said. Michael told Dex the job was over “You’re leaving town tonight.” Sonny told Dante that Nina (Cynthia Watros) was upset because of him. Michael told Josslyn he was prepared to deal with the fallout once Dante, Kristina, Avery and Donna found out he was the one who sent Sonny to prison but was Josslyn? Sonny told Dante he hoped Nina came back to him once this was over. Anna encouraged Maxie to follow Lucy’s orders and do the Nurses Ball the way Ms. Coe envisioned. Chase gave Willow an autograph. Brook Lynn thought about how she blew things with Chase. “I work for you. But what I have for Josslyn is personal” Dex told Michael. Dante assured Sonny that Nina would come back to him. Valentin told Drew and Carly about Deputy Mayor Eileen Ashby was working for Victor but is now working for them and will give Victor a fake necklace. Anna and Lucy returned to the safe house where Anna checked out the place after finding the table Valentin overturned. She scolded Lucy for almost getting them killed tonight. Drew told Valentin if he needed someone with military experience, he had him. Michael told Josslyn if she wanted Dex to live through this, Sonny couldn’t find out about their relationship. Dante told Sonny one of the things he liked about Mike from Nixon Falls was he put his family first. Willow told Chase he lit up everytime he saw Brook Lynn. “What if Brook Lynn is your person…is being right more important than being without Brook Lynn?” Willow asked. Drew told Carly that Victor had to be stopped. “And Valentin and the others, they need my help to do it” Drew told Carly. “Jason died on Cassadine Island going after Victor. I don’t want to lose you too” Carly told Drew. Anna was announced when Lucy told her she saw Victor at The Metro Court but was 99.9% certain he hadn’t seen her. Valentin returned to the safe house. “It’s about being father and son,” Dante said and he and Sonny hugged. Dex told Josslyn they would have to arrange for somewhere to meet. And if they ran into each other, she had to act like she didn’t care. Josslyn kissed Dex then left his apartment. Michael told Willow he was working on a project and considering cutting his losses. Chase to Brook Lynn he missed her. Carly told Drew he had to stay safe. Anna gave Lucy back her burner phone. Maxie spoke with Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) and glanding at the thirty text messages from Lucy, said she had a lot of ideas for the Nurses Ball. Anna and Valentin apologized to each other for their earlier quarrel.

Wednesday

Diane (Carolyn Hennessey) came to The Invade office to get Alexis (Nancy Grahan) to go to dinner at the Port Charles Grill. Alexis apologized because she had forgotten. Finn approached as Gregory (Gregory Harrison) was asking for an updated appointment because he was experiencing symptoms. When Jordan (Tanisha Harper) approached Nina (Cynthia Watros) at Charlie’s, Nina asked “Is Sonny okay?” Nina asked. Trina (Tabyana Ali) told Curtis she didn’t know how to act around him. “Laura I thought we agreed that you could visit me and Ace but he can’t” Esme said. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was nervous because the GH board was still meeting to determine whether nurse Webber was a liability to the hospital. Elizabeth and Terry (Cassandra James) approached Portia (Brooke Kerr) to see how it went when Portia spoke on Elizabeth’s behalf. Chase told Brook Lynn he wanted what they had back. Nina apologizes to Jordan for overreacting thinking something was wrong with Sonny. Jordan asked whether Nina knew how Curtis was doing. Curtis told Trina how he was having trouble getting past Portia’s lie. Portia told Elizabeth she told the board about Elizabeth’s professionalism, care for her patients and skill. Plus, Finn, Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and Dr. Griffin Munro (Matthew Cohen) all provided letters of recommendation. Elizabeth was worried because the board didn’t have a letter from Epiphany, who was her mentor and biggest supporter. Alexis told Diane she shouldn’t have confronted Gregory. She said she thought Gregory had a drinking problem. Gregory managed to cover with Finn why he was really at GH. Laura told Esme how D.A. Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) agreed to drop the charges and she was being released from the hospital. But Esme said she and Ace weren’t going anywhere. Curtis asked Trina how long she intended not to speak with her mother. Portia assured Elizabeth that Epiphany’s letter probably was delayed because she was taking a tour of John Hopkins and meeting her professor. Terry and Elizabeth gave Epiphany kudos for pursuing her dream. Finn and Gregory approached. Elizabeth almost regretted coming forward with the truth. Brook Lynn told Chase he didn’t know who she really was. Spencer told Esme Spring Ridge was a prison and wasn’t a hotel she couldn’t extend her stay. When he told her he got her a room above Kelly’s Diner and would pay the rent until she got a job and was on her feet, Esme asked whether there was enough room in this room for both her and Ace. Finn told his father how he had to fight the urge to rush in and protect Elizabeth. Brook Lynn admitted in exchange for the rights back to her songs, she signed a NDA, meaning she couldn’t talk about what Linc did to her and would be unable to collaborate if Blaze or any other woman came forward. “I sold out.” Spencer told Esme she would be staying at Kelly’s while Ace would stay with him at Kevin and Laura’s. He said she was like the old Esme who always put her own interests first. Portia smiled when she walked up and saw Trina and Curtis hugging. Trina left because she had to meet Spencer. Portia asked about Marshall (Robert Gossett), reminding he was family. Jordan told Nina how things were good between her and Curtis in their marriage before she kept secrets from him. Diane encouraged Alexis to stay out of whatever was going on with Gregory but Ms. Davis decided to call Finn. Laura told Esme they wanted to support her and asked what they could do to support her. “You’re not going to like it,” Esme said. Gregory asked Finn why Alexis was calling him. When Portia suggested counseling, Curtis said she lied over and over again so she didn’t get to set the terms. “Curtis just tell me if our love for one another is enough to get us through this,” Portia pleaded. Jordan told Nina she’d always love Curtis. “Jordan, if you’re worried about Curtis talk to him, I’m sure he’d appreciate it,” Nina suggested before leaving Kelly’s. Elizabeth told Finn what she said to the board. Chase said it wasn’t about protecting other women, it was about Brook Lynn getting her songs back. “You were the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. Now the trust is broken and I don’t think our love can fix that” Curtis told Portia before walking away. Gregory came to Alexis’ office at The Invader to confront her about calling Finn. Trina came over to Laura’s and asked Spencer how everything went with Esme. Spencer told her things didn’t go as planned. Esme came out carrying Ace and saying how much they loved their room. Curtis came to Charlie’s. Sitting at the bar, he ordered a scotch neat. He turned around and saw Jordan.

Thursday

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was relieved when she was told the GH review board voted not to take any disciplinary action against her. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) stormed into The Invader office and confronted Alexis (Nancy Grahan) about texting Finn (Michael Easton). Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs), Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) were having lunch at Kelly’s when Cody (Josh Kelly) entered. He greeted Gladys and said they knew each other from The Savoy. “Do you want to tell her or should I?” Cody asked. Portia (Brooke Kerr) told Marshall (Robert Gossett) how Curtis (Donnell Turner) wouldn’t share anything about Marshall’s genetic testing consultation, which says it all about where they are in their relationship. Curtis came to Charlie’s. Sitting at the bar, he ordered a scotch neat. He turned around and saw Jordan. She joined him at the bar and told the bartender she’d have whatever Curtis was having. Trina (Tabyana Ali) came over to Laura’s and asked Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) how everything went with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Spencer told her things didn’t go as planned. Esme came out carrying Ace and saying how much they loved their room. Trina was surprised that Esme was staying there. Laura (Genie Francis) told Trina they decided Esme living there was the best thing for the baby. Spencer added he was staying there too and could help watch his little brother. Curtis told Jordan how he ran into Trina and Portia and needed to blow off steam, which he couldn’t do at The Savoy. Portia suggested she and Marshall go to the GH breakroom to talk about Dr. Samuels’ evaluation. The GH review board head told Elizabeth they believed she acted in the best interest of Esme Prince and her son and may have been the reason the baby survived. That along with her record and supporters make her an asset to GH. Afterwards, Elizabeth rushed into Finn’s arms, hugging him in relief. Cody said Gladys was at The Savoy because it was ladies night. While Maxie told Cody outside to ask him to participate in the Nurses Ball as part of Magic Milo and the Magic Wands, Sasha suggested she and Gladys dress to the nines and make the Nurses Ball their coming out party. Trina said she hoped things worked out for everyone. Spencer walked Trina out while Laura helped Esme put Ace down for bed. When Trina commented it may be good Esme was staying there because they could raise the baby together, Spencer told Trina that was the last thing he wanted. Trina asked Spencer what if the new Esme was as bad as the old. Spencer told Trina he would be there to see if she slipped up. Cody agreed to help Maxie by being an act in the Nurses Ball. Sasha thanked Gladys for being her guardian and said she did some research and found out guardians get paid so buying her a new dress would be the least she could do. Marshall told Portia how he was wrongly diagnosed with schizophrenia. Curtis asked Jordan whether they’d still be together if he hadn’t insisted upon a divorce. Gregory told Alexis he didn’t have a drinking problem but was sick and Finn didn’t know.

Friday

Eileen was annoyed with the cloak and dagger stuff with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) putting a bag over her head and delivering her to the safe house. Anna (Finola Hughes) reminded Eileen how they had to be careful. “Because we can’t avoid to make one single mistake and neither can you,” Anna told Eileen. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) encouraged Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) to drink an herbal tea that encourages lactation. Spencer made a snide remark about Esme , which Laura (Genie Francis) overheard. Esme told them she wouldn’t stay somewhere she didn’t feel welcome. “And where I go, Ace goes.” Someone knocked on the door. It was Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) who announced he was there for his nephews. Marshall (Robert Gossett) caught Trina (Tabyana Ali) sneaking in. Trina said she thought the house was empty and didn’t plan on seeing anyone because she wasn’t sure whether it felt like her home anymore. Cameron (William Lipton) received his last paycheck. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) commented it was the end of an era. Sonny (Maurice Benard) made a call asking to meet someone on Pier 55. Josslyn told Cameron she wanted to finish their conversation about Dex. Just then, Sonny entered Kelly’s with Dex. Marshall told Trina with Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) choosing to go to Johns Hopkins, he wasn’t sure whether he fitted into her life anymore. Spencer took Victor out in the hall. Esme told Laura “I get this really bad feeling every time Victor Cassadine is around.” Victor reminded Spencer no one told him where he could go and he’d stop anyone he tried. “Including me?” Spencer asked. Valentin handed Eileen the fake necklace, saying it was a crucial part of their plan to convince Victor they were giving him exactly what he wanted. Eileen refused to wear a wire knowing Victor would have him killed. “You want Victor, keep that wire.” Marshall asked Trina what’s troubling her. “Spencer’s living with his ex-girlfriend again.” Spencer reminded Victor they needed nuance and diplomacy. He assured Victor once Esme was sent to prison he’d retain custody as the baby’s next of kin and would never keep Ace from his uncle. Spencer told Victor they had to go somewhere else to talk about the help he needed with Esme. Spencer came back inside but told Laura he was off to pick Trina up for Cameron’s party. Sonny congratulated Cameron on his acceptance to Stanford then asked to speak with Josslyn outside. He told her he wanted to find out about his enemies. Eileen called Victor and a meeting was arranged for forty-five minutes. Spencer arrived at Victor’s suite at The Metro Court. Victor asked Spencer what he wanted to happen to Esme. Sonny asked Josslyn to keep an ear out when she was with her mother and sisters. Josslyn said she heard what happened, Sonny asked how. Cameron told Dex there were a few things he had to say to him before he left town. Marshall said Trina seemed to make all the concessions in the friendship with Spencer. Laura told Esme she believed in giving people a second chance. Victor vowed to Spencer there was no way Esme would be raising Cassadine. Trina told Marshall how Spencer told her she made him feel special, adding their relationship was involved and she and Spencer were now more than friends. Laura assured Esme she trusted her. She told her she was going out so she’d have the whole place to herself. Laura also gave Esme some money. Anna told Eileen none of them were free until they stopped Victor. Cameron warns Dex he’ll tell Sonny if Dex ever hurt Joss. Josslyn told Sonny she wished it broke his heart as much as it breaks hers that Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna think their lifestyle is normal. Sonny wished Cameron well and then he and Dex left. Josslyn told Cameron she would never have fallen for someone so soon after their breakup if it were casual. Esme told Ace nothing was stopping the Cassadines from taking him away from her. Marshall reminded Trina DNA didn’t determine family, connection did. Victor told Spencer evidence could be planted against Esme. Spencer said he’d be in touch. Eileen came to Victor’s suite at The Metro Court and gave him the fake necklace. Sonny met with Selina (Lydia Look) to ask whether she knew he ordered the hit on him. Selina told Sonny she valued their business relationship and his enemy was an enemy of them both. Anna and Valentin worried about the plan, comparing it to a car accident that happened not far from home. Victor congratulated Eileen on a job well done in delivering the necklace to him. Eileen panicked when he wouldn’t let her leave until he authentified it was real. Marshall wasn’t happy when he opened the door and found Spencer on the other side. Esme grabbed the money off the table and with a packed bag and Ace, prepared to leave. But when she opened the door, Cameron was about to knock.
