A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Dex (Evan Hofer) made plans to meet later at the Quartermaine boat house. “Dex. Joss. Why do I always keep finding you together?” Sonny (Maurice Benard). When she wakes up, Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) the Nurses Ball is over. “Liesl is supposed to donate her bone marrow for Willow’s transplant tomorrow…where the hell is she?” Carly asked Nina (Cynthia Watros). Portia (Brooke Kerr) arrived at her daughter’s dorm and knocked on Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) door. Laura (Genie Francis) assured Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) they’d find her baby. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) reminded that Anna (Finola Hughes) would be the first one to tell them to go after Victor (Charles Shaughnessy). “Uncle Victor, where are you taking me?” Spencer (Nicolas Chavez) demanded when he heard the boat weighing anchor. Sonny told Dex he’s known for months Dex and Josslyn were involved but gave him the chance to come clean. He asked whether Carly knew. Josslyn said her mother did know but respected her choices. “I got a job for you” Sonny tol Dex, which was Josslyn’s signal to leave. Sonny told Dex he wasn’t the dating police but wanted Dex’s assurance his relationship with Josslyn wouldn’t interfere with his work. Michael told Willow about Liesl (Kathleen Gati) being Georgie and James’ assistance in a magic act and they made her disappear. Michael commented on how real the act seemed. Nina told Carly how Sonny was looking for Liesl. Drew (Cameron Mathison) appeared and told them how Victor shot Anna. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came to Laura’s to investigateBaby Ace’s disappearance. Laura urged Esme to go to GH to get checked out. Crying, Esme asked Dante to find her son because he was all she had. Victor tried to convince Spencer he wasn’t holding him against his will…he was saving him. Victor explained how Spencer was already with his family and everyone else in Port Charles was obsolete. Spencer was surprised when a woman entered carrying Ace. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) learned from Robert (Tristan Rogers) about the plan, Holly’s (Emma Samms) fake injury and the ruse the necklace was destroyed. Felicia assured Jordan that Mac had no idea about the plan. Charlotte got off the elevator at GH and rushed into her papa’s arms. With everything going on, his daughter’s embrace did Valentin a world of good. Later, Robert assured Valentin that Anna was a fighter. Valentin said he wanted Victor dead and wanted to bury him himself. Josslyn invited Portia into hers and Trina’s dorm room. Portia cleaned up Trina’s side of the room and questioned Josslyn about Trina and Spencer’s relationship when she found an art planner with an inscription obviously from him. While Drew and Carly went to tell Willow and Michael what happened with Liesl, Nina asked for Sonny’s help finding her aunt saying she wanted him to do anything he had to. Jordan came to GH to question Esme. Dante and Laura looked at the security footage which showed a man with a gun on the elevator. The man returned to the elevator carrying Ace. When his face became visible, Laura recognized him as Victor’s body guard Ambrose. Drew and Carly came to the Quartermane gatehouse to talk with Willow and Michael. After Portia left, Josslyn texted Trina asking where her friend was. Spencer told his Uncle Victor he could take him wherever he wanted but asked him to return Ace. Victor told Spencer that Ambrose was to protect him and his baby brother. Hidden, Trina watched.

Tuesday

“We’re here about Liesl ” Carly (Laura Wright) told Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow, with Drew (Cameron Mathison) adding Liesl Obtrecht was nowhere to be found. Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Scott (Kin Shriner) about Liesl’s disappearance and said it was up to them to find her. Robert (Tristan Rogers) was at the vending machine when Diane (Carolyn Henessy) approached saying she heard Anna (Finola Hughes) was shot. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Laura (Genie Francis) came to Esme’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) hospital room and told her an APB was put out for the man who took her baby. Trina (Tabyana Ali) listened as Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) told Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) neither of them would be returning to Port Charles. Drew and Carly told Willow and Michael about the trapdoor on stage and Britt’s pin being found. Willow asked what it meant for the surgery. Diane told Robert she wanted to be there for him after she heard about Anna. Laura told Esme that Nikolas (Adam Huss) had nothing to do with Ace’s kidnapping…it was his uncle Victor Cassadine. Scott told Nina and Sonny how Victor’s always been obsessed with Liesl and was more than likely behind her disappearance. Carly urged Willow to try to get rest but she was worried about Liesl. Victor told Spencer as long as he had his little brother he trusted he was going anywhere. Ambrose was asked to show Spencer to his stateroom, which had a bolt on the outside of the door. Liesl was brought into the room. Victor told her he needed her cooperation to help with a plan that’s been in motion for forty years. Dante told Sonny about Liesl’s abduction by Victor. Sonny suggested Diane agree to represent Victor’s man who failed in recapturing Lucy (Lynn Herring) in exchange for information about Victor. Laura worried when she couldn’t reach Spencer. Victor threatened Nina, Maxie (Kristen Storms), Willow and James, throwing in Scotty Baldwin for good measure unless Liesl cooperated. Nina told Scott how although Sonny shared his emotions with her, he didn’t share what happened with his business. Spencer grabbed a weapon when he heard someone at the door. He was surprised to see Trina. She explained she followed him and how his Uncle Victor also had Dr. Obrecht. Trina wanted them to leave now. But Spencer refused to leave his baby brother. So Trina suggested she leave the boat and get help. Worried for her safety, Spencer said he normally liked her bravery but in this case preferred her to be a coward. Liesl taunted Victor how his delusions of his own importance have always led to his downfall and his plan would fail just like the others. Willow sent Michael to get her some hot cocoa. Once alone, she broke down. Carly felt helpless not being able to do anything for Willow. Drew comforted her, not caring whether they were seen. Laura told Sonny her fear Spencer was in as much danger as his little brother. Dante checked on the other Cassadine relatives and reported Alexis (Nancy Grahan), Sam (Kelly Monaco), Kristina (Lexi Aisworth) and Molly (Haley Pullos) all safe. Laura told Esme the doctors wanted to keep her overnight for observation. Esme agreed to return home with Laura in the morning. After speaking with Victor’s goon, Diane called Sonny. Sonny told Jordan he knew where Victor was. Spencer told Trina to be careful. Trina opened the door and checked that no one was around and bolted it back on the outside.

Wednesday

Carly (Laura Wright) came to her daughter’s dorm and told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) “Willow’s not having the transplant.” Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) came to see how Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) was doing. Michael (Chad Duell) said they’d soon have their happily ever after. At the PCPD, Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) came to give her statement so Cody Bell (Josh Swickward) would pay for his crimes. Laura (Genie Francis) told Felicia (Kristina Wagner) she was worried about both her grandsons. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) thought there was a reason why Portia (Brooke Kerr) wasn’t telling him about Anna’s (Finola Hughes) condition. “Something’s gone wrong, hasn’t it?” “Why’d you risk coming back here?” Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) asked Trina (Tabyana Ali). “I think I found a way off this ship,” Trina told Spencer. Valentin was angry Portia was putting him off. “Valentin that’s enough…or you’ll have to answer to me” Curtis (Donnell Turner) warned. Josslyn told Carly how Dex (Evan Hofer) was shot saving Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) life. Willow told Brook Lynn and Sasha they had to face facts that the police wouldn’t find Dr. Obrecht until it was too late to save her. Cody told Dante he called someone for help. Just then, Sam (Kelly Monaco) entered the interrogation room. Trina explained to Spencer how she found a utility closet but had to leave when the guard came. Trina believed there could be a radio there. Spencer told Trina she had to hide when they heard Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) outside the door. After Dante leftm Cody told Sam how he was being set up by Gladys because she didn’t want him to tell Sasha that Gladys couldn’t be trusted. He told her he was worried Gladys was involved in something dangerous and Sasha could be hurt in the crossfire. Cody asked Sam to post his bail. Willow told Sasha and Brook Lynn her decision to have the wedding right away. Portia got word from the OR that Anna was in the ICU and he could go see her. Curtis asked Portia whether she’s heard from Trina. Josslyn told Dante how Trina never came back to their dorm room last night. Victor found the outside bolt of the stateroom opened. Spencer came out of the shower while Trina hid under the bed. Laura told Felicia about being on a Cassadine boat when she was a kid. Victor didn’t like Spencer’s demanding tone and warned what happened to those who crossed him. “Just ask my son,” Victor said. He reluctantly agreed Spencer could join him in the dining room for a mail. When he left the stateroom, Victor threatened to throw Ambrose overboard into the freezing water if he found the door unbolted again. Laura told Felicia that Victor could be heading to some rainforest secluded Cassadine islands in Venezuela. Sam told Gladys that Cody would make bail. Michael returned and asked Willow what she wanted to ask him. Portia left a message for Trina which went straight to voicemail. She was worried when her texts were undeliverable. Dante and Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) faces said it all. “No, not Trina.” Valentin learned Anna coded again on the operating table and lost a lot of blood. Spencer told Trina he’d cause a distraction to give her time to radio for help. “We got this,” Trina assured. “I promise you no matter what it takes I’ll bring my father down. Right now I need you to wake up darling. I need you to wake up” Valentin told Anna, whose eyes fluttered.

Thursday

Jordan (Tanisha Harper) told Portia (Brooke Kerr) they have some questions about an ongoing investigation. “We got this” Trina (Tabyana Ali) assured Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) as they worked on a plan. At GH, Sonny (Maurice Bernard) asked Laura (Genie Francis) whether she had any news on Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) and said “Don’t worry about it. When I find him he’s going to pay more than he has ever paid before.” Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Michael (Chad Duell). “I want to get married today.” Anna’s (Finola Hughes) eyes fluttered then opened. “If it isn’t the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen…welcome back” Valentin said. “You want to get married today?” Michael asked Willow. “Tomorrow at the latest. I don’t want to wait. I want to get married as soon as possible so we can have as much time as possible to spend as husband and wife” Willow said. Michael told Willow there’s nothing to consider…he’d married her. Ambrose brought Liesl into the dining room where Victor was eating his eggs. Anna told Valentin how before she passed out, she saw the faces of everyone she loved: Robin, Emma, Noah and him which caused her to fight because she wasn’t ready to leave any of them yet…he was stuck with her. Dante told Laura and Sonny that Victor’s list of victims was growing. Jordan suggested to Portia they go to her office for privacy. Curtis asked to come. Trina told Spencer the guard will leave the door unbolted because Spencer will be with him…the plan will work. Jordan told Portia and Curtis they had reason to believe Trina was with Spencer and his great Uncle Victor. Valentin told Anna how Lucy (Lynn Herring) got away and made a grand entrance at the Nurse Ball. He added how Victor escaped aboard The Haunted Star and the necklace wasn’t the only thing he took. Sonny told Dante they needed to find Liesl for Willow’s sake. And if Victor’s man wasn’t talking to the police, maybe he’d talk to him. Willow agreed to let Sasha and Brook Lynn plan the wedding for tomorrow. Michael asked Sasha and Brook Lynn to help put Amelia down so he could speak with Willow alone. Willow assured Michael although she had fear and anger over her circumstances, she hadn’t lost hope. Michael wanted their wedding to be as special as the family their love created. Dante said Sonny was the reason they got their lead about Victor. Valentin told Anna how Victor abducted Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) baby, Spencer Cassadine and Liesl Obretch. Spencer demanded to know why they were there. Victor told Liesl and Spencer they were there to usher a new era for humanity. After Jordan left, Curtis comforted Portia. Anna wondered what Victor wanted with Liesl. Victor explained his plan was to crack the code Mikkos put on the Ice Princess which will lead to a bunker containing a pathogen when released onto the world will reduce the population to help preserve Earth’s resources. Spencer vowed he won’t let Victor get away with this. Victor said no one…not even Spencer would stop him. Sonny called Michael and told him he was thinking about him and Willow. Curtis vowed to Portia that Trina would come home even if he had to bring her himself. Trina made her way to the utility room but it wasn’t empty for her to find a radio to get help. “Come on Spencer, where’s that diversion?” she wondered. Spencer told Victor he wouldn’t let him play judge and executioner with people’s lives. Suddenly, he jumped up from his chair, grabbed a knife and held it to Liesl’s throat.

Friday

Finn (Michael Easton), Chase (Josh Swickward) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) worked out at The Metro Court Gym. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) spoke with Maxie (Kristen Storms) on the phone and asked her to come over. Sam (Kelly Thiebauld) came to Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) office at The Invader and they talked about what’s going on with Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) aboard The Haunted Star. Curtis (Donnell Turner) called Trina (Tabyana Ali) when speaking with Portia (Brooke Kerr). Laura (Genie Francis) told Jordan (Tanisha Harper) she didn’t imagine Victor would take her grandsons hostage. “Have at it” Victor said unconcerned when Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) held a knife to Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) throat to stop his uncle’s plan. “Come on Spencer…where’s that diversion? Trina said but accidentally bumped against a fire extinguisher. Sam was surprised Alexis wouldn’t give Cody (Josh Swickward) the benefit of the doubt when she told her mother about him being accused of stealing the bracelet at the Nurses Ball. Chase told Gregory how he was waiting for the review board’s decision. Brook Lynn asked Maxie to help plan Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and Michael’s (Chad Duell) wedding. Curtis told Portia he wanted to get to know Trina. When all the security was ordered to the main dining room, Trina was able to go to the utility room. Brook Lynn told Maxie the wedding was tomorrow. Maxie asked for strong coffee brewed. She got the flowers and Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) was making all the food. Maxie suggested Brook Lynn write a song for Willow and Michael so that Chase could sing. But Brook Lynn didn’t think Chase would want to do it. Gregory urged Chase to give Brook Lynn a second chance. Finn asked Gregory whether the same applied to Alexis. Alexis told Sam how her interference hurt her friendship with Gregory. Victor warned Spencer if he killed Liesl he’d be dooming his baby brother. But Spencer didn’t think Victor would risk his own life if Liesl were dead and couldn’t work on the pathogen. The rest of the security details appeared and the guards trained their guns on Spencer. “Your move Spencer” Victor said. Spencer put down the knife. Trina couldn’t figure out how to work the communication equipment. But she found a phone. Curtis approached Jordan and Laura and offered his services if they needed extra help finding Victor. Portia couldn’t concentrate on recording notes for a patient’s file. She looked at a photo of her and Trina on Portia’s wedding day to Curtis. When she received a call from an unknown number, at first Portia didn’t answer it. But on the second ring, Portia picked it up and was relieved to hear her daughter’s voice. Trina told her mother how she followed Spencer and was aboard The Haunted Star, adding Victor Cassadine didn’t know she was there. Portia told Trina help was on the way. She rushed from her office and to Curtis and Laura in the hallway. Portia told them Trina was on the phone. The call was put on speaker. Since The Haunted Star had been a wedding gift, Laura instructed Trina on how to read the coordinates from the satellite screen. When Trina heard the guards returning, she told them she had to leave. Trina was told not to take the phone with her. Liesl and Spencer’s hands were tied behind their backs. Victor asked the guards to take Liesl back to her stateroom so he could speak with Spencer alone. Victor told Spencer he was disappointed with him. But said he wouldn’t kill him. Victor told Spencer he already had an heir in Spencer’s baby brother so Spencer was a spare. Victor said as Spencer’s actions couldn’t go unpunished, he would no longer be treated as family. From now on, Spencer was a prisoner and would be locked up and given no food. Spencer noticed Trina peeking from behind her hiding place. She gave him a thumbs up as he was taken away. Taking his sons’ advice, Gregory arrived at Alexis’ office. Chase was surprised when Brook Lynn arrived at the CCRB hearing
