A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) thanked Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for coming. Carly asked whether there’s anything she can do. “Because we need your help…now more than ever,” Willow said. Sonny (Maurice Benard) noticed Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) coldness towards him and asked whether they had a problem. “Since you used Diane Miller to circumvent the law, yeah I think we do.” Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told Chase (Josh Swickward) she was there to make sure he was presentable. In Venezuela, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) greeted Holly (Emma Samms), who was disguised as a maid. They talked about Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) and how he probably figured out she pulled a fast one on him . But first things first…they had to find Ethan (Nathan Parsons) and prove Victor was responsible for her son’s death. “What do you say Carly, do I have your blessing to marry your son tomorrow?” Willow asked. “Mom, please say yes,” Michael added. Gregory told Alexis he came out of concern for her with all that’s being written about her family in the news. Chase told Brook Lynn she could stay for the hearing. Blaze arrived at the CCRB hearing to speak on Chase’s behalf. She told the committee her real name was Allison Rogers and how Chase stood up for her when her creep of a manager, Linc Brown, was sexually harassing her. Blaze explained how Chase stood up for her and made her feel safe, protected and respected…adding isn’t that what police officers are supposed to do. Carly gave her blessing and both she and Josslyn offered to help. Nina thanked Sonny for taking her up on her word and getting information about Aunt Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) location. Nina commented on how she still sees the Mike she loved in Nixon Falls in him. Diane overheard Sonny and Robert’s conversation. When they were alone, Diane reminded Robert how they’ve chosen to help and work for complicated people. Felicia gave Holly a dress to wear when they went to an auction. Willow told Carly how after she was gone she didn’t want her children to miss out on having a happy family. She was concerned that Kristina and one day Avery and Donna would take Sonny’s side, which would estrange them from Michael, which in turn would affect Wiley and Amelia. Carly thought Wiley was asking her to broker peace between Sonny and Michael. But Willow said she wouldn’t put her in the middle like that. Michael admitted to Josslyn how when Sonny called him and expressed concern, he almost sounded like his father again. Brook Lynn spoke at the CCRB hearing about how Chase’ s caring for people made him both a good cop and a good singer. Chase spoke how he was proud to have served Port Charles as a detective and if the board voted to reinstate him, he would be deserving of their trust in him. The CCRB left to deliberate. Felicia managed to secure a place for her and Holly at the special auction. Diane agreed to have dinner with Sonny. Gregory fell out of the chair and passed out. The CCRB returned with their decision. Holly and Felicia learned that the auction for having the privilege of eliminating the man who was brought into the room with a bag over his head. “Ethan” Holly said when she saw it was her son Ethan (James Ryan).

Tuesday

Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) car broke down so dinner with Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) was delayed. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Michael (Chad Duell) she wanted to talk about Sonny (Maurice Benard). Valentin (James Patrick Staurt) interrupted Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny’s conversation and said he may have some news about Liesl (Kathleen Gati). “After careful consideration, the committee has come to a decision,” the chairman of the CCRB said. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) didn’t want Alexis (Nancy Grahan) to call for an ambulance. The bidding for the privilege to kill Ethan Lovett (James Ryan) started at one million dollars. Willow told Michael she thinks they should invite Sonny to the wedding. Valentin told Nina and Sonny how Trina (Tabyana Ali) contacted her mother. Gregory told Alexis he gets muscle spasms but what comes next is far worse. Nina and Valentin had a good talk in which she told him she understood why he let her believe Sasha was her daughter. The committee reinstated Chase as a detective and told him Commissioner Ashford (Tanisha Harper) would be in touch. Chase promised not to disappoint them. He thanked Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) hugged Chase, happy to get his partner back. As the bid rose, Holly (Emma Samms) bidded two million. Diane recalled her first client for Sonny which was Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) who called her Mob Lawyer. Dante admired Chase for not giving up getting his badge back. Gregory told Alexis when he began slurring his words while teaching, he decided to leave his job. Holly won the auction with a ten million dollar bid. She tried to stall by saying her money manager would be in touch. But she was instructed to enter her account number onto the table. Willow explained that because Donna and Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) are young and need to know the importance of family and because unlike Nina he was a part of Michael’s life, Sonny should be at the wedding. Gregory told Alexis he had ALS and was avoiding telling his sons until the last minute because he wants to give them as long as possible to have a normal life before they are burdened with caring for him. Chase and Dante had a cup of coffee at The Bistro. Dante gave Chase back his badge saying Jordan gave it to him because she was sure there’d be a positive outcome from the committee. Brook Lynn came to GH and told Sonny that Michael and Willow were getting married tomorrow. Robert and Diane shared their first kiss. Sonny told Nina he had to tell her something about Willow. Holly was told her bid was forfeited because the second highest bidder already wired the money. Holly was surprised when the winning bidder entered to collect Ethan and underneath the hat, she was revealed to be Tracy (Jane Elliott). The auctioneer accused Holly and Tracy of working together. Holly, Felicia and Tracy were in danger. Fortunately, Ethan got his hands free of the tie and punched the men. And Felicia hit one of them with a sculpture. Ethan, Felicia, Holly and Tracy then got out of there.

Wednesday

“I need to speak with Dr. Gatlin-Holt. It could be a matter of life or death” Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Laura (Genie Francis) discussed Trina (Tabyana Ali). Trina snuck into Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) and told him it worked and showed him the walkie she had. Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) warned Ambrose and his other henchman if they come to him with mundane stuff like the baby being restless and missing inventory he’d make sure they’d leave the ship as cargo. Ava (Maura West) and Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) were doing a puzzle when Carly (Laura Wright) knocked on the door. Ava let Carly in and Avery greeted Mama Carly with a hug. “But this wedding there’s nothing to celebrate about it. It’s just the beginning of the end” Nina said. Carly told Ava that Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and Michael (Chad Duell) are getting married tomorrow and Willow wanted Avery to be in the wedding party. Nina told Sonny the wedding may be the last thing Willow did. Michael called Sonny and told him he needed to see him. As Willow was resting, Michael told Sonny he’d come to him. Carly handed Avery a basket and said it could be hers if she accepted the important role of flower girl. Avery happily accepted, adding “I’ve always wanted to be a flower girl.” Laura told Curtis they’ve frozen Victor’s assets because some things were out of their jurisdiction because The Haunted Star was in international waters. Trina told Spencer how Laura was familiar with the communication room and talked her through. Spencer told Trina how his Uncle Victor wanted to reduce the global population. Trina wanted to go to the engine room. But Spencer was worried about her taking risks. Trina promised she’d come back to him. But it was more about just them now and they had to do something. Austin (Roger Howarth) assured Esme she’d get her baby back and his colic wasn’t life threatening and would probably clear on his own. Elizabeth tried to reassure her Spencer was probably with Ace and would take care of his brother. “Are you saying my baby doesn’t need me?” Esme asked angrily. Ava asked Carly whether the wedding included Nina and Sonny. Nina told Sonny they’d celebrated Michael and Willow getting married. “Even though we can’t be there with them,” Nina said. Just then, Michael entered the GH chapel. Victor brought Ace to see Spencer. “He’s fussy and restless. I thought a visit with his brother might do you both some good.” Trina snuck into the engine room. Austin did his best to calm Esme down. After Esme walked away, Elizabeth told Austin he helped Esme. They commented how Esme’s been through a lot and hoped things worked out for her. Esme interrupted Curtis and Laura and told Laura she’s been officially released. Ava told Laura that Nina was her friend. “How is it you too are friends? What could you two possibly have in common, except for hating me,” Carly asked. Nina wished Michael and Willow well then left the chapel. Michael invited Sonny to the wedding, adding the invitation was for him alone. “So what you’re saying is you want me to come to your wedding but you don’t want Nina to?” Sonny asked as Nina returned. Ava told Carly when she looked at Nina she didn’t see the disturbed woman who forced her to give birth to Avery. Ava told Carly as she was on the inside she had the opportunity to broker peace. “I’m just trying to save you from my regrets” Ava told Carly. “What regrets?” Carly asked. Amy (Risa Dorken) warned Austin to stop seeing Ava Jerome. Carly told Ava she hasn’t forgotten how Ava deprived her of time with Morgan. Carly asked Ava whether she wanted to help Nina because she couldn’t help Trina. Ava asked whether something happened to Trina. Laura told Curtis she’s helping Esme because she’s the mother of her grandson and he of all people knows the importance of family. Spencer told Victor that Ace had colic. Victor told Spencer how Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was alive and betrayed him, which his traitorous son would regret as would anyone who crossed him. When Laura mentioned Drew (Cameron Mathison), she gave Curtis an idea on how they could find The Haunted Star. Amy told Austin how Ava went through a messy divorce and now her husband was nowhere to be found. After learning about Trina’s disappearance, Ava asked Carly to watch Avery while she went to GH to see Portia (Brooke Kerr). Spencer listens while Victor spoke with his henchmen outside the stateroom about The Haunted Star having engine problems. Victor told them to do exactly what he said. Nina said she’d forgotten her purse. She encouraged Sonny to go to the wedding as weddings were to be celebrated. Asking Michael to give Willow her best wishes, Nina left the chapel. Sonny told Michael he’d go to the wedding. Esme told Laura how she didn’t want to go home because Ace wouldn’t be there. Laura was surprised when Nina arrived at Wyndemere. Spencer was brought to the dining room. After Ace was removed from Spencer’s arms and taken back to the nanny. Then, the guard dragged Trina in.

Thursday

“If we don’t do something soon, Valentin could ruin ELQ” Ned (Wally Kurth) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Nina (Cynthia Watros) was surprised to find Carly (Laura Wright) at Wyndemere. Carly explained Ava had to leave and she was watching Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Nina offered to stay until Ava (Maura West) got back and would watch Avery. Ava came to Portia’s (Brooke Kerr) office at GH. “My daughter’s in danger and it’s all Spencer Cassadine’s fault” Portia told Ava. At GH, Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Drew (Cameron Mathison) he didn’t know how long Trina (Tabyana Ali) could be hidden. Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) commended Trina for stowing away for so long. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) was brought in and Victor told her how Trina was responsible for the ship’s engine trouble. He asked Trina to help him decide what to do with her. Nina accused Carly of not trusting her with Avery and convincing Michael (Chad Duell) not to invite her to the wedding. Ned told Brook Lynn that Valentin’s fake death has caused the stakeholders to lose confidence in ELQ, which could signal the end of the company. Portia told Ava how common sense goes out the window when Spencer Cassadine was involved. Curtis told Drew he needed his help and questioned him about the tarot card Victor used to control him. When Carly learned Michael invited Sonny to the wedding but not Nina and he was going, she told Nina that Sonny was finally choosing family over her. Portia told Ava how Trina learning Curtis was her father has estranged them. But if Trina came home safely, Portia vowed she would make sure Trina stayed away from Spencer. Ava assured Portia that Trina would come home and they’d be able to mend their damaged relationship. When Spencer refused to join his uncle in his plan, Victor ordered Trina be thrown overboard. Nina told Carly it was her fault she didn’t have time to make amends with her daughter. Spencer agreed to do whatever Victor wanted if Trina were spared. Victor ordered Trina to be released. But then told Spencer as he was as much a disappointment to him as his father and could drown along with Trina. Liesl ordered Victor to stop. She said she needed them to test the pathogen, adding the complex research is fascinating and has given her life meaning since the death of her daughter. Ava returned home and Carly told her Nina came over. Before leaving, Carly suggested Ava not try to give her any more advice. Nina sat in her car and thought about her conversation with Ava at The Metro Court when they talked about Carly’s possible insider trading charges if the SEC knew of her romance with Drew. Before pulling off, Nina said it was time Carly faced the consequences of her actions. Brook Lynn reminded her father of the danger since Valention was a Cassadine if he tried to oust Valentin out of ELQ. Liesl told Victor she wanted Trina and Spencer fed because she needed healthy specimens like she would lab rats. Spencer vowed to get he and Trina out of their predicament.

Friday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) wished Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) luck on the conversation he had to have with his father. Cody (Josh Kelly) came over to borrow some cereal. But Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) knew he wanted to know whether he still had a job. At Charlie’s, Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) encouraged Sasha (Sofia Mattesson) not to believe anything Cody Bell had to say. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) came to Kim Nero’s storage facility and found Oscar’s old sport’s team hat. He and Curtis talked about how bad it was losing a child you just found out you had. TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Haley Puollos) talked about having a baby this time next year. At GH, Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Laura (Genie Francis) she wished she knew Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) Plan. Trina (Tabyana Ali) was pushed into Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) stateroom. They wondered why they were allowed to be in the same room together. “Spencer, I’m scared.” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Dex (Evan Hofer) he wouldn’t let anything interfere with Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow’s (Katelyn MacMuellen) big day. When Dante arrived, Sonny gave Dex something to deliver and told him to take the rest of the day off. Dante invited Sonny to have lunch with him but Sonny declined. “What, you got big plans?” Dante asked. “I’m going to Michael and Willow’s wedding,” Sonny answered. “No you’re not,” Dante said. Spencer assured Trina he wouldn’t let his Uncle Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) hurt her. Spencer said although his Uncle Victor was drunk on power, he believed it was a thread of humanity left in him. He added there was nothing they couldn’t do as long as they were together. Drew and Curtis found a map inside a Greek mythology book. Dr. Navarro told Molly she wanted to do a biopsy to determine why Molly was experiencing pain during her monthly cycle. Alexis told Laura about the tremulous relationship Victor and Mikkos had. Brook Lynn asked Cody how the bracelet ended up in his pocket. Sam came to Charlie’s and gave Gladys a “look that could kill” according to Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). Gladys suggested she and Sasha go on a vacation. Sonny told Dante he wasn’t crashing the wedding…he was invited but Nina (Cynthia Watros) wasn’t. Kristina was surprised when Dex gave her some papers. “I can’t believe my dad did this.” Although she shouldn’t get away, Sasha offered to pay for Gladys’ trip with an upgraded spa treatment perk. Cody told Brook Lynn he was being set up. Laura told Alexis there’s no way Nikolas (Adam Huss) could stay away with both his sons in danger. Drew and Curtis made a connection to Project Demeter when they found the symbol of Virgo on the corner of the map and on the canteen as Virgo was connected to Demeter, the Goddess of fertility and harvest. Trina told Spencer although she was worried for their lives, she had no doubts anymore about being with him. TJ assured Laura his mother was doing everything she could to locate Victor. Dr. Navarro told Molly she could have endometriosis. Molly wanted to do the procedure because she had to know what was going on inside her body. Sonny told Dante it was Willow who wanted him at the wedding, not Michael. Kristina told Dex her dad found out a way to give her what she wanted. Gladys questioned Sam about bailing out Cody. Sasha interrupted Cody and Brook Lynn’s conversation. Sam told Gladys she posted Cody’s bail because she doesn’t think he did it. Cody assured Sasha he didn’t steal the bracelet. He urged Sasha not to believe anything Gladys said. Kristina told Dex how her dad found properties that could be used as housing for homeless youths and circled ones with industrial kitchens. “My dad gets me. I wish everyone could see the Sonny Corinthos I did” Kristina told dad. Dante asked Sonny what would happen with his and Nina’s relationship if he were let back into the family and she wasn’t. Alexis asked TJ about ALS. Drew and Curtis found Laura at GH. Drew told her they found something that led to his past and Victor’s future. Trina told Spencer she wanted to experience everything with him. “I’d like to start new experiences now,” Trina told Spencer. But Spencer said losing her virginity was a big deal and didn’t want her to regret it. Trina said she wouldn’t regret it because she was with him and they didn’t know what tomorrow would bring. Drew showed Laura the map and explained about the Project Demeter connection. Alexis asked TJ about Molly seeing Dr. Navarro. Although she had to await the test results, Dr. Navarro believed Molly had endometriosis. “How will this diagnosis affect my plans to have a baby with TJ?” Molly asked Dr. Navarro. Kristina told Dex she doesn’t know what she’d do with her dad. “Gladys framed me,” Cody told Sasha. “Why on Earth would she do that?” Sasha asked. Sonny told Dante he was seeing a real growth in Nina and Willow’s relationship. He was confident when this was all over, they’d all be a family again. Cody said he couldn’t tell her why Gladys framed him. Sasha said she wouldn’t take his word over Gladys because Gladys has been there for her during the worst times of her life. Sasha said it was him she could no longer trust. Noticing Molly’s face, Alexis asked her daughter what was wrong. Laura realized the trajectory of where The Haunted Star was heading. Trina and Spencer were kissing on the bed. A sound alerted Spencer that the boat had docked.
