A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“The last time I did something for Pikeman I was ambushed in my own warehouse. Let’s talk about that” Sonny (Maurice Benard) said. SOMEWHERE IN GREENLAND. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) told Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) it would take time to develop an antidote for the pathogen. Victor reminded none of them had time. “At least of all your grandniece Willow.” With Victor’s guards zeroing in on the ringing satellite phone, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) revealed himself by coming out with his hands up. Nina (Cynthia Watros) met with Martin (Michael E. Knight) at The Metro Court and asked him to call off warning the SEC. Michael (Chad Duell) told Carly (Laura Wright) although Ned (Wally Kurth) refused to admit to reporting Drew and Carly. Martin told Nina he couldn’t call off the type to the SEC, adding he got a tip from his contact Carly Spencer was interviewed by the SEC. “Whoever tried to kill me did it to screw with you guys” Sonny said. Scott (Kin Shriner) came into Anna’s (Finola Hughes) hospital room saying the sink warning the WSB about Victor’s biological weapon has sunk. Valentin said he was Victor’s son and came to see his father. Robert (Tristan Rogers) enters and asks Scott whether he’s told the WSB what he overheard. Liesl told Victor not to threaten her niece. A guard radioed Victor and told him they caught an intruder who said he was his son. Victor demanded Valentin be brought into him after his son said hi over the radio. Scott refused to let Liesl be collateral damage, threatening to tell the WSB what Victor was up to if they didn’t. Martin told Nina she did nothing wrong if Drew and Carly participated in insider trading all she did was report it so it’s in the attorneys hands now. Willow said Sonny stepping in showed how important they still were to him. When the Pikeman Group crate was opened, Brick (Stephen A. Smith) told Sonny it contained a high power explosive that could take out an entire city block. Sonny told the Pipeman rep they could use his docks just this time until they renegotiated the deal, adding he needed to know who was behind the hit. Sonny had to leave to meet with Nina. He asked Dex (Evan Hofer) to make sure the payment went through without a hitch. Holly used chloroform to stop Scott from going to the WSB. Brick told Dex to count the money. The Pikeman rep told Brick their association with Pikeman would be life changing. Carly told Willow and Michael how the SEC froze Aurora’s assets. Willow didn’t believe Ned reported Drew and Carly to the SEC. Michael commented how Willow always saw the good in everyone. “Not everyone,” Willow said. Nina met Sonny. He told her about the wedding and the SEC, adding they were looking for Drew. Nina was confused “Wasn’t Drew at the wedding?” she asked. “You haven’t heard,” Sonny said. Laura (Genie Francis) told Drew and Curtis (Donnell Turner) they had to give Victor Valentin’s accomplice. Holly told Robert that Scott would be out for hours. Anna took out her IV. She and Holly planned to join Drew, Curtis and Laura but urged Robert to stay in Port Charles to cover for them and be their contact. Sonny told Nina that Drew went to find Liesl and bring her home and how he had Brick plant a false lead that Drew boarded a flight in San Diego headed for Maui. Nina asked what it meant for Willow if the SEC found Drew before he brought Liesl back. Liesl urged Victor to relocate and regroup because the pathogen was unstable. Laura pretended she was hurt and needed help then called for Drew and Curtis when the guards were distracted. Sonny told Nina whoever turned Drew and Carly into the SEC not only hurt them but Willow too. Brick told Dex if he wanted to stay in the business he shouldn’t trust anyone. Dex sent Michael a text with the video of the recorded meeting using money and video emojis. Curtis vowed to bring everyone home. Laura had Drew tie her hands and said in order for their plan to work from this point on she was his prisoner. Liesl refused to test the antidote on young people who were innocent like Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). “How about someone who’s not so innocent?” Victor asked. When Valentin was brought in, Victor said “Just in time son.”

Tuesday

SOMEWHERE IN GREENLAND. Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) asked Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) whether he was there out of an ill advised rescue attempt or out of revenge. “Can’t it be both?” Valentin asked. With the kids done for the night, Michael (Chad Duell) told Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) there was one tradition they’d forgotten. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was worried about Trina (Tabyana Ali). She was glad to see Dex (Evan Hofer) arrive at her dorm room. Marshall (Robert Gossett) came to Portia’s (Brooke Kerr) office to give her company. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) made an attempt to escape, which angered a guard. “You’re gonna pay for that” the guard said. Michael carried Willow across the threshold. Dex asked Josslyn whether she was okay. Dex helped Josslyn take down her hair and said she looked beautiful. Victor demanded to know who Valentin’s accomplices were. “Lies come easy. The truth has to be coerced” Victor said. Scared, Spencer asked the guard “Hasn’t there ever been anyone you’d do anything to protect?” While Robert (Tristan Rogers) wondered how long Scott (Kin Shriner) would be out from the chloroform, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) knocked on the door and called out that she was coming in. “Nope” the guard answered, raising his fist to deliver a punch. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you” Curtis said when he arrived on The Haunted Star. Victor told Valentin “Liesl is testing the final step in my plan to save the world and you’re going to help.” Robert came out of the room to try to keep Elizabeth from coming in, saying Anna (Finola Hughes) was sleeping. Portia told Marshall how Curtis got a lead and was off to bring Trina (Tabyana Ali) home. “If he can get past Victor Cassadine.” Curtis pretended to be one of the hired guards. Spencer gave Curtis a clue where Trina’s room was. Before he left, Curtis urged the guard not to harm the boss’ family. But the guard punched Spencer in the stomach. Willow told Michael if the worst happened and she was gone, she didn’t want the family divided. Dex and Josslyn cuddled in bed. Josslyn told Dex how Willow and Michael defined true bliss at their wedding. Valentin called Victor depraved. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) explained about the pathogen. Victor told Valentin how he (Victor), Liesl and “You can have something so much better than all this madness. You can have your son back” Valentin told Victor. Elizabeth asked Robert why he was stone walling her to keep her out of Anna’s room. Curtis punched the guard outside Trina’s room and entered the room. Trina was happy to see Curtis and rushed into his arms. Josslyn told Dex about the SEC taking her mother for questioning on insider trading and how Sonny (Maurice Benard) helped Drew’s location from being discovered. Willow reminded Michael how all those who loved both him and son were affected by their rift. Michael said there was something he couldn’t keep from her any longer, then proceeded to show her the video Dex sent him. Michael explained how Sonny’s has been accepting money from a military contractor which is a federal crime and could send Sonny to prison for the rest of his life. Dex told Josslyn he got the evidence against Sonny and gave it to Michael so it was up to him to turn it into the authorities. Josslyn asked whether that meant this could all be over. Trina refused to leave without Spencer. Reluctantly, Curtis said “Let’s go get Spencer” after telling Trina to run when he gave her the word. Victor told Valentin how Liesl was going to inject him with the pathogen and would give him the antidote if Valentin told him who his accomplices were, urging his son not to take too much time. After the guard took Valentin away, Victor turned to Liesl and said “Okay doctor, let’s go make history.” Michael told Willow the video wasn’t staged or entrapment. He explained how a powerful security group like Pikeman would owe Sonny a favor. Michael confessed to Willow the person who sent him the video worked for him. Dex told Josslyn there was no way Sonny couldn’t get out of this because he would have the whole weight of the federal government coming down on him. Robert urged Elizabeth to trust him and give him time. Scott woke up and tried calling the WSB. Spencer was beaten and bloody when Trina appeared ordering the guard to leave him alone. The guard asked what she was going to do about it. Liesl told Victor he could be signing his son’s death warrant. “Are you sure you want to do this?” Liesl asked, “He’s your son.” “Not anymore” Victor answered and watched Liesl inject Valentin. “I’m sorry” Liesl said. “I know,” Liesl answered. “This is insanity” she said when she left the room. “How long before I’m dead Victor?” Valentin asked “You put a lot of work into this. It would be a shame if it were for nothing.” But Valentin’s nose started bleeding. A WSB agent arrived telling Robert he needed to get in that room. Scott told Elizabeth how Scorpio drugged him to keep him from talking to the WSB. Robert angrily told Scott he was condemning the woman he loved and others to death. Michael told Willow that Sonny’s lieutenant Dex Heller worked for him (Michael). Willow passed out. Marshall told Portia he’d stay with her for as long as she needed. Trina ran as the guard chased her. Curtis appeared to punch one guard then struggled to subdue the other.

Wednesday

SOMEWHERE IN GREENLAND. Aboard The Haunted Star, Trina (Tabyana Ali) rushes to Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) side and urges him to get up. Michael (Chad Duell) called 911 when Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) passed out. The WSB agent suggested Robert (Tristan Rogers) do what he does best and keep quiet. TJ (Taj Bellows) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) the reception never took place because Willow’s mother-in-law’s not doing well. At Kelly’s, Carly (Laura Wright) had coffee and a slice of pie. But when she went to pay, her card was declined. Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) urged Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to give up his accomplice. “The virus doesn’t care about you…you’re merely its host and it’s just getting started” Victor said. Carly gave the waitress another card to try. But that too was declined. Carly suggested the card reader wasn’t working while the waitress urged Carly to call her bank. “I got it,” Nina (Cynthia Watros) said, presenting her credit card. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Tracy (Jane Eliott) entered the Quartermaine gatehouse to watch the kids. Michael blamed himself for Willow’s condition. Liesl (Kathleen Gati) asked Victor to allow her to give Valentin the antidote. But Victor wanted to wait to see the effects as the pathogen worsen on Valentin’s body. Curtis knocked out the other guard while Trina tried to wake Spencer. Carly found a twenty and paid for her meal. She told Nina about the wedding, adding they had to hope Drew found Liesl in time for Michael and Willow to have a life together. The WSB agent handcuffs Robert to the bed after Scorpio decked him. When he heard Felicia (Kristina Wagner) outside the door, he shouted for her to call Frisco (Jack Wagner). Although Curtis promised to come back for Spencer, Trina refused to leave. Fortunately, Spencer wakes up. Curtis asked whether he could stand and said they had to get the baby. At GH, TJ told Michael to let him do his job. Ava (Maura West) arrived at Kelly’s as Carly received a call and left to take it outside. Michael told Carly that Willow was at GH. Wiley woke up and asked where his mommy was. As the pathogen ravaged his body, Valentin refused to give up Curtis and Laura. Drew (Cameron Mathison) knocked out a guard. Laura found the lab and the pathogen. But unfortunately, they were caught by Victor and his guards. Curtis, Trina and Spencer entered the stateroom where the nurse was with Ace. Curtis demanded the nurse hand the baby over to Spencer. Then, Trina and Spencer left for the seaplane. Ava assured Nina it wasn’t her fault that Drew chose to break the law. Carly arrived at GH and supported Michael. Tracy told Wiley the story of the four little pigs. TJ looked concerned when he got Willow’s blood work then went to talk with Michael. Laura took out a vial of the pathogen and put it in her pocket. She gasped when Victor showed them on the monitor Valentin suffering from the effects of the pathogen. Valentin had a hallucination of Helena (Constance Towers). Felicia told Robert how Frisco (Jack Wagner) was replaced on the spot for refusing to give the order to bomb the island. The hallucination of Helena told her son she was there to take him below with her where he would spend eternity. The new director gave the order for the bombing. Victor told Laura they were ushering in the dawn of a new era. “Where only the strong survive,” Victor said. “Are you sure about that?” Laura asked, pulling out the pathogen vial.

Thursday

Sonny (Maurice Bernard) met Nina (Cynthia Watros) at Kelly’s and told her he’s been doing some digging into who tipped off the SEC. At GH, TJ (Taj Bellows) told Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael (Chad Duell) that Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) passing out was due to something far worse than exhaustion. Dex (Evan Hofer) urged Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to believe in the power of faith. SOMEWHERE IN GREENLAND. Aboard The Haunted Star, Curtis (Donnell Turner) almost felt sorry for Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) going up against Laura (Genie Francis). Laura told Victor dropping the pathogen and him dying was worth it. The hallucination of Helena (Constance Towers) told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) death was just another conflict. Laura told Victor she was saving the world. TJ told Carly and Michael that Willow had a blood clot they needed to treat with platelets. Sonny told Nina he didn’t have any information yet on who tipped off the SEC. But he wouldn’t let Carly hold the bag. Diane (Carolyn Hennessy) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) arrived at GH as the WSB was taking Robert (Tristan Rogers) away. Jordan said he wasn’t going anywhere. Victor smirked that the pathogen was only activated by UV light so her throwing it on the floor was a wasted act. He said Liesl (Kathleen Gati) had to be kept alive until the antidote was on their guinea pig. The Helena hallucination taunted Valentin that Anna and Charlotte wouldn’t miss him when he was gone. Dex admitted being torn about turning Sonny in. Michael was faced with the choice of Willow dying at GH or at home. Curtis made Spencer promise to get Trina to the seaplane even if it’s without him. Trina took a satellite phone to use to call Jordan. Nina told Sonny she changed her mind about going away. Michael sat by Willow’s bedside and thought about moments with her when she woke up. Sonny called Dex and asked him to charter a plane since Brick (Stephen A. Smith) was using his. Josslyn left for GH after Carly called her about Willow. Diane told the WSB agent Robert’s civil rights were being violated. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Robert said Anna had to stop Victor before the island was bombed. Victor ordered Drew’s elimination. Suddenly, an explosion blew open the door and Anna stood there holding her gun. After Trina left to get another blanket for Ace, the nanny appeared and ordered Spencer to hand over the baby. Before she could call for extra security, Trina knocked the nurse over the head with a pitcher. Michael told Willow her best chance was staying at the hospital. Josslyn arrived at GH and told Carly she was terrified. Dex arrived at Kelly’s and told Nina and Sonny something happened with Willow. While Drew and Anna fought off his guards, Victor trained his gun on Laura. After Dex told them Willow was taken to the hospital, Sonny ordered him to cancel the plane. Nina and Sonny left for GH. Michael told Willow although it went against what she wanted, she had to stay in the hospital. Trina remembered she hadn’t called for reinforcements. Victor’s guards got the upper hand on Drew and Anna. Carly called Ned (Wally Kurth) vindictive and said she never expected it from him. She blamed herself for buying that Aurora stock. Dex called Josslyn to give her the heads up. But Josslyn already knew when Nina and Sonny entered. Willow promised Michael she’d fight for her life. Victor shot Laura and dragged Liesl away. Curtis helped Drew and Anna fight. Laura assured Curtis it was just a graze and asked Drew to go after Victor. Anna rushed to the isolation room when Laura told her Victor tested the pathogen on Valentin. Holly (Emma Samms) trained her gun on Victor. Valentin continued battling the effects of the pathogen. He saw Anna looking at him. Laura recognized the sound from the computer and told Curtis it was the same as the one that controlled Mikkos’ original machine.

Friday

Carly (Laura Wright) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) how Willow’s (Katelyn MacMuellen) condition was deteriorating and she needed to stay in the hospital until Drew (Cameron Mathison) found Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and the transplant took place. Willow told Michael (Chad Duell) she knew she had to stay in a controlled environment until the transplant. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came to Portia’s (Brooke Kerr) office. SOMEWHERE IN GREENLAND. Liesl urged Holly (Emma Samms) to shoot Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) adding she’d take her chances and instruct Holly on how to harvest her bone marrow from her dead body. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) thought Anna (Finola Hughes) was a hallucination like Helena (Constance Towers). Jordan (Tanisha Harper) told Trina (Tabyana Ali) about the drone strike to destroy the island and said she and Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) had to get to the sea plane with the baby. Spencer wanted to go after his grandmother. But Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told him Laura would want him and Ace to be safe. Laura (Genie Francis) told Curtis (Donnell Turner) the computer code was for another weather machine, especially how Mikkos created a blizzard in Port Charles in the Summer of 1981 using carbonated snow. Jordan came to Portia’s office and told her and Elizabeth that Trina was safe and heading back home. They looked out the window and noticed it was snowing. Curtis tried something to stop the computer. But it asked for a formula. Laura realized it was the formula for carbonated snow. She told Curtis she had it etched on her brain for forty years and how Robert (Tristan Rogers) once warned her she would be a target if it was known she possessed the knowledge. Laura entered the formula and the computer stopped. Anna assured Valentin she wasn’t a hallucination. Valentin apologized for failing not to know she wasn’t Alex (also Hughes) because her twin lacked the kindness in her eyes Anna had. Anna and Valentin said they loved one another. Anna came into the isolation room despite Valentin being contagious. Drew arrived and overbearing Victor, knocking him to the ground. When he woke up, Victor escaped with the pathogen. Liesl, who had been knocked unconscious in the scuffle, woke up. She told Drew and Holly how she swiped the antidote from Victor when he wasn’t looking. Willow told Michael she wanted to see Nina. After he left her hospital room, Carly entered. Sasha (Sofia Matteson) came to GH to offer support to Willow. Michael told Nina that WIllow asked to see her. Carly left when Nina arrived. Willow asked Nina to promise to leave Carly alone and to make peace by forgetting payback. Nina made the promise she knew she wouldn’t be able to keep. Trina and Spencer hid with Ace when they heard someone coming. They saw it was Victor with the pathogen and he was heading to The Haunted Star. Spencer asked Trina to take Ace to the seaplane. He refused to let Victor unleash the pathogen. Spencer promised he’d be right behind Trina. Curtis and Laura learned about the drone strike on the island. Robert was able to get the WSB to call off the attack on the island once the agent was told Victor had left and was aboard The Haunted Star. Drew called Carly. She brought the phone into Willow’s hospital room. Willow was relieved to hear Liesl was okay. Holly came to the isolation room and told Anna she had the antidote. Victor was angry when he found the antidote missing. When he turned around, Spencer was there. He said he no longer took orders from him and demanded he hand over the pathogen. Spencer knocked Victor out. Curtis and Laura found Trina and told her the drone strike was diverted to The Haunted Star. Trina told them Spencer went over Victor and was onboard the boat. Spencer was relieved Victor was alive. Then, he heard a noise. Trina, Laura and Curtis looked on in horror when they heard the explosion.
