A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) wanted Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) to tell him about the SEC’s case against Carly (Laura Wright). But Diane told him since the divorce he was no longer entitled to spousal privilege. At GH, Carly told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) she knew it was because of Sonny the SEC didn’t hold her for twenty-four hours. Nina (Cynthia Watros) asked Sam (Kelly Monaco) to tell her about Willow’s (Katelyn MacMuellen) wedding. Michael (Chad Duell) told Willow she was going to live. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came to Dex’s (Evan Hofer) apartment and said Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) couldn’t be found. Trina (Tabyana Ali) assured Ace they’d find his big brother. When Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) appeared, Trina asked whether he’d found Spencer. Michael talked about the trip to Paris they’d finally take after Willow had the bone marrow transplant and time to heal. Willow asked Michael to delete the incriminating footage. Sam told Nina about the wedding and how the SEC had bad timing. Diane asked Sonny why he cared what happened to Carly. Sonny explained Carly was Donna’s mother and he wouldn’t let his daughter’s mother go to prison. Diane questioned Sonny about whether he was considering raising Donna with Nina if Carly went to prison. Sonny assured he wouldn’t think of that and besides Carly would be acquitted. Sonny’s plan was to discredit the source who reported Drew (Cameron Mathison)and Carly to the SEC so the case wouldn’t go to trial. Carly told Dante they both knew Sonny stalled the SEC. A body was found. When the body bag was unzipped, Trina and Valentin saw it was Victor. Trina was relieved it wasn’t Spencer. She thought about moments with Spencer and told Ace they’d find his brother. Valentin looked down at his father’s body and told Victor he was glad he was finally gone. Sam told Nina how she and Alexis (Nancy Grahan) didn’t get along when they first found out they were mother and daughter. But shared experiences and time helped their relationship. Sam suggested Nina ask Carly for help. Josslyn told Dex how Trina was the only one who gave Spencer a chance and would be devastated if he were gone. Trina refused to get on the plane back to Port Charles until Spencer was found. Carly told Dante that despite where they were in their relationship, she and Sonny would always look out for each other. Sonny confirmed the same with Diane. Sonny commented how the SEC wanted Drew as the CEO of a big corporation. But if Carly was offered a deal to turn in Drew, she probably wouldn’t take it. Willow urged Michael not to force Donna and Avery to choose between him and their father. Deanna told Willow that as Drew Cain and Liesl Obretch’s plane had landed, they’d be prepping her for the transplant. Nina ran into Carly. As Trina, Laura and Valentin walked towards the plane, someone approached from behind. It was Spencer! Trina gave Ace to Valentin and rushed into Spencer’s arms. Then, they kissed.

Tuesday

When she came to his office, Robert (Tristan Rogers) told Diane (Carolyn Henessey) he had something sensitive to discuss with her. At the Quartermaine mansion, Olivia (Lisa LoCicerco) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) asked Ned (Wally Kurth) whether he was off for a followup meeting with the SEC. Dex (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) enjoyed being together with all the craziness around them. Deanna told Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) that Willow needed to be put in isolation while she gets chemo to rid her body of the bad bone marrow so it can receive the good bone marrow. At GH, Sam (Kelly Monaco) told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) how she encouraged Nina (Cynthia Watros) to make peace with Carly (Laura Wright). “I’m standing here desperately wanting a connection with my daughter…please Carly will you help me?” Nina pleaded. Before Carly could answer, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) stepped off the elevator. Dex suggested he and Josslyn cook together. Robert reminded Diane they were dangerously close to crossing ethical boundaries with their flirting. Unless it was consensual. Willow was told she had to go into a sterile isolation room with her family wearing protective clothing so Willow would be bacteria free. While Ned continued to deny turning Drew and Carly over to the SEC, Brook Lynn said he probably reasoned he was doing what was best for ELQ. “Of course you did and good for you” Tracy said agreeing Ned turned in Drew and Carly. Liesl called Drew a hero for stopping Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) from taking her as his hostage. Before Carly could warn him, SEC agents arrived at GH and asked Drew to come with him as they were investigating allegations of insider trading. Ned insisted as a strategist he wouldn’t have turned Drew into the SEC because it would be bad for ELQ stock. Robert told Diane he didn’t regret kissing her. He took out a bottle of champagne and poured two glasses. But before they could drink, Diane got a call from a client and had to leave. Michael assured Willow that this wouldn’t be the last time they held hands, assuring she’d beat the odds. Josslyn told Dex because Sonny (Maurice Benard) knew about them and said he wasn’t going to be the romance police, they can be seen in public. Josslyn answered her phone when Michael called. Liesl was outraged Drew was dragged out by the SEC because he is a good man who risked his life to save Willow. A guilty Nina suggested they go see Willow to let her know Liesl was back. Carly asked Dante to go to the PCPD to see how Drew was faring. Nina and Liesl panicked when they entered Willow’s hospital room and saw the look on Michael’s face. Robert poured the glasses of champagne in the plant. Holly (Emma Samms) entered his office. Diane entered the interrogation room and told the SEC agents she was representing Mr. Cain and unless they had a subpoena, the interview was over. Holly told Robert about what happened in Greece. Michael told Nina and Liesl that Willow was taken to isolation to prepare for the bone marrow transplant. Dex and Josslyn entered the Quartermaine mansion. Tracy met Dex and exchanged sarcastic remarks about him working for Sonny. Josslyn explained that Dr. Obrecht was back and Michael wanted her to bring Wiley and Amelia to see Willow. Dante asked the desk guard whether the SEC was still in the interrogation. When he learned Diane Miller was Drew’s lawyer, he commented Cain wouldn’t be there long. Diane told Drew they would need to talk about long term representation for him because this was a one shot. Josslyn told Dex how her mother was her age when she became involved with someone (Jason) like him. Diane returned to Robert’s office and saw him and Holly kissing. Drew returns to the Quartermaine mansion and punches Ned. Although sick and weak, Willow managed a smile and blew a kiss when she saw Wiley and Amelia outside the isolation room.

Wednesday

“You want war you got it” Drew told Ned (Wally Kurth) after punching him and knocking him down onto the couch. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) urged Maxie (Kristen Storms) to stay home from work because she has a sinus infection. But Maxie refused to reschedule Deception’s spot on Home and Heart.”The future of my company is at stake” Maxie said. Carly told Sasha (Sofia Matesson) how Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) was put in isolation while undergoing her last round of chemo. Diane (Carolyn Henessy) walked in on Holly (Emma Samms) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) kissing and suggested he might want to close or lock his door in the future. Taggert (Real Andrews) arrived at GH. Portia (Brooke Kerr) told him Trina (Tabyana Ali) was on her way back but wasn’t out of danger as long as Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) was in her life. Curtis, Laura, Ace, Trina and Spencer were on a flight home. Laura commented how she couldn’t help thinking about all she had to sacrifice to reach this point. Drew called Ned a coward for waiting until he left to report him to the SEC. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) learned if she canceled the spa trip the fee was non-refundable. Maxie told Felicia they were launching a new skin care product called Deceptor. Portia told Taggert they had to get Trina away from Spencer Cassadine. Spencer told Trina when he saw the drones he knew what they meant but froze until he thought of her and saw her face. “Trina Robinson, you saved my life.” Laura told Curtis her relationship with the Cassadines has gone on for forty years and has defined her. Drew told Ned he wanted control of ELQ and found a way to get it. Felicia urged Maxie to delegate. She had to leave to meet Mac (John J. York). But before leaving Felicia told Maxie “I’ll be back with soup”. Sasha told Gladys to book their trip regardless of the cost. After Gladys left, Sasha commented to Carly “What would I do without Gladys.” Laura told Curtis how she was looking forward to seeing how her life would unfold now. She hoped Nikolas (Adam Huss) would come home. Spencer told Trina all he wants is to protect his little brother because he loves him. After Holly left his office, Robert told Diane he owed her an explanation. Maxie tried to work on what she’d say for Deception’s spot on the home shopping network. But being sick didn’t help. Tracy reminded Drew the SEC were more interested in what Carly could give them on Sonny. Carly asked Sasha whether she feels she’s capable of serving as her own guardian. Gladys received a text from Selina (Lydia Look) about a poker game with a 5k buy in. Curtis told Laura he’d be proud to be Trina’s biological father. Spencer told Trina he wanted his brother to have something he didn’t have, a normal upbringing free from the Cassadine family drama. He vowed he would be Ace’s guardian. Taggert reminded Portia the chasm in hers and Trina’s relationship would widen if she tried to keep her away from Spencer. Holly ran into Felicia at the PCPD and told her how she and Robert kissed and she could feel there were still some feelings they shared. Diane told Robert she refused to compete for his affections with the love of his life. Robert told Diane being glad Holly was alive and living her life didn’t mean he wanted a life with her. But Diane told Robert to call her once he figured out who he wanted. Brook Lynn believed her father when he swore on Lila’s memory he hadn’t called the SEC. Drew returned to GH and told Carly about punching Ned. He admitted it didn’t seem like Ned to turn them in when he (Drew) was away trying to help save Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). Gladys and Sasha arrived at Maxie’s apartment. Maxie told Sasha she had to give the presentation on the home shopping network. Portia thanked Taggert for talking her down from the ledge. Ace, Curtis, Laura, Spencer and Trina entered GH. Curtis, Laura and Spencer watched as Trina rushed into her mother’s arms. Trina, Portia and Taggert shared a family embrace.

Thursday

“I have thought of something you can do for me that will settle the account” Tracy (Jane Eliot) said, telling Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) it was the perfect time while the family was distracted. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Sasha (Sofia Matteson) that if she didn’t do this she knew there was someone who wouldn’t forgive her. At The Savoy, Cody (Josh Kelly) told Selina (Lydia Look) she needed someone who knew his way around a deck of cards. The officers at the PCPD welcome Chase (Josh Swickward) back. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) gave him a stack of case files. Taking out Cody’s mugshot, Chase commented that things looked bad for Dante’s friend. “Things aren’t always the way they seem,” Dante said. At GH, Taggert thanked Curtis for bringing Trina (Tabyana Ali) home. Curtis told Taggert it was a team effort. Trina was grateful to Curtis, Laura and everyone who helped. “But most of all, I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Spencer,” Trina said. Laura and Spencer went to pediatrics to have Ace checked out. Trina told Portia (Brooke Kerr) she needed to talk with her father. Maxie told Sasha she’d be the one who wouldn’t forgive her if she didn’t do Home and Heart. Gladys said Sasha may not be able to say no but she could. Selina didn’t want Cody to take part in the poker game, calling him a petty criminal. But Cody asked her to reconsider saying lawyers were cheap and he needed a good one to beat the charges he was facing. Dante reminded Chase sometimes people do the wrong things for the right reasons…he should know about that. Tracy wanted Brook Lynn to return working for Deception. “What are you after?” Brook Lynn asked Tracy. Tracy told Brook Lynn she wanted her to find out what was happening in Research and Development. Brook Lynn didn’t like it “It sounds like corporate espionage, are you asking me to be your personal spy?” Chase and Dante talked about Brook Lynn. “It’s like you said about Cody, sometimes people do the wrong things for the right reason?” Sasha thanked Gladys for standing up for her. Maxie said Sasha needed to face her fears by going back to the same show. “Maybe the only way to conquer my fears is to face them,” Sasha said. But Gladys couldn’t legally agree to it. Portia told Curtis she wasn’t just worried about Trina, she was worried about him too. Laura made a call telling someone (probably Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) ) they were all at the hospital and they should come. Spencer assured Ace the examination wouldn’t hurt him. He recalled Laura telling him he’d get a lollipop when he had doctor’s appointments. Spencer wished things were still that simple. Laura reminded Spencer things changed. Then pulled out an orange lollipop. Trina told Taggert she changed her mind about having the DNA test. She told him regardless of the results he’d always be her dad. Trina said she didn’t want secrets to be a part of her life. Curtis and Portia were interrupted by a WSB agent who had additional questions for Curtis. Tracy told Brook Lynn she pulled some expensive strings and Chase owed his badge to her. Dante told Chase he wasn’t convinced of Cody’s guilt. Cody told Selina that Gladys Corbin set him up because he was onto her scheme to bilk her daughter-in-law. Sasha thanked Gladys for looking out for her but said she owed it to everyone at Deception who believed in her. “Where’s my baby?” Esme said, rushing into the examination room. Spencer reluctantly handed her Ace. Austin (Roger Howarth) entered the examination room. He said Esme could stay because she was his mom but made Laura and Spencer leave. Taggert told Trina he supported her decision. The WSB agent told Curtis the agency was impressed with him and needed a man like him as an asset. Gladys agreed to stand by Sasha if she thought she was ready for this but hoped she didn’t regret it. Chase was surprised when Tracy called him. The WSB texted Curtis his phone number if he changed his mind. Gladys arrived at The Savoy. Selina considered cutting both Cody and Gladys loose. Tracy suggested she and Chase have lunch then hook up. “You speak Quartermaine right, what was that all about?” Chase asked. Tracy asked Brook Lynn whether she’d take the job or should she take lunch. Austin told Esme the thing Ace needed more than anything was his mom. Trina told Portia and Curtis her decision to get a DNA test. Ace, Esme, Laura and Spencer got on the elevator for home. Dante told Chase he should have lunch with Tracy. Brook Lynn agreed to go back to Deception. Maxie congratulated Sasha on her decision. Selina told Cody and Gladys they were welcomed at the table. Portia apologized for putting Trina in this position. Ace, Esme, Laura and Spencer got off the elevator. Spencer told Trina that Ace was fine after his checkup and they were all going home back to his grandmother’s place.

Friday

Nina (Cynthia Watros) met Ava (Maura West) and The Savoy. Ava wanted to celebrate that both Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Liesl (Kathleen Gati) were safe and home. “You don’t look like you’re in the mood to celebrate anything. Why’s wrong?” Ava asked Nina. “Seeing you is like a confirmation everything is going to be okay” Josslyn (Eden McCoy) said as she hugged Drew (Cameron Mathison) and welcomed him home. Dex (Evan Hofer) texted Michael (Chad Duell) and asked to meet him on the GH roof. Michael thought about when Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told him about the damage his rift with his father would have on the family. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) didn’t like being summoned to Sonny’s office. “There’s some matters that we need to discuss and no one’s leaving this room until we do,” Sonny said. Josslyn called Drew a hero and asked what happened when Carly commented he didn’t get the hero welcome he deserved. Nina told Ava she screwed up when Willow offered her a way to make peace. Liesl called Willow because she couldn’t enter the bacteria free isolation room. “I did what I had to…you’re my family” Liesl told Willow. Michael met with Dex on the roof. Dex said he knew Michael would want to wait to turn Sonny in until after Willow was better. Sonny thanked Valentin for stepping up to stop his father, save Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) and bring Liesl home. But he wanted to talk about how Valentin’s associates tried to have him killed. “Did you or did you not know I could have a target on my back?” Sonny asked Valentin. Liesl told Willow she had no agenda and considered Willow family. Liesl told Willow she’d come out of this. “I see you for the strong woman you are. It’s obvious you are a survivor because it’s in your blood” Liesl told Willow. Nina told Ava how Willow wanted her to drop her vendetta against Carly but it was too late since she turned Drew and Carly into the SEC. Carly questioned Josslyn about showing up at GH with Dex. Michael told Dex how Willow convinced him not to turn in the evidence against Sonny. Dex reminded Michael he risked everything when he took the job. And now that Michael changed his mind, he only had two options: Continued to work for Sonny or turn him in. Michael reminded him of the third option to disappear. Sonny told Valentin the sniper was black ops. Scott (Kin Shriner) asked Liesl whether there’s any way things could work out for them. Josslyn left when Diane (Carolyn Henessy) showed up to discuss the case. When Drew returned from taking a call, Diane told them unfortunately things will get worse before they get better. Ava reminded Nina she couldn’t take back what was already done. Diane told Drew and Carly she couldn’t represent both of them. Liesl told Scott she thought about him when her survival was in question. Scott promised to do everything in his power to make it up for her. But Liesl couldn’t forget he protected Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Dex told Michael if he left he’d have to give up his life. “And I’ve grown very attached to this city.” “The city or Josslyn?” Michael asked. Josslyn called Willow on the phone and they talked about seeing someone. “Tell me, is it anyone I know?” Willow asked. “There’s no way I’m going to sit back and be Pikeman’s collateral damage” Sonny told Valentin. Ava told Nina if she came clean Willow would be furious and Nina will get a life full of enemies. “As nervous as I am about the transplant, I’m hoping for all our futures,” Willow told Josslyn. Sonny asked Valentin to tell Pikeman they needed to get their affairs in order before he entertained another deal. “Nina you’ve gotten away with murder…don’t tell them where to find the body” Ava told Nina. Drew said he’ll use one of the Q’s lawyers and Diane should represent Carly. Ava and Nina noticed Scott was down when he came to The Savoy. Dex told Josslyn he had to say goodbye when she met him on the roof. Michael came to Sonny’s office.
