A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“What do you know about my accident that you haven’t told me?” Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) asked Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) “I know that Kristina caused it” Lucky answered. “Did you see this? It’s Gio…what happened mom?” Rocco (Finn Carter) asked Lulu (Alexa Havins). Kristina (Kate Mansi) welcomed Michael (Rory Gibson) home and told him she had a lot to tell him. Laura (Genie Francis) questioned Sonny (Maurice Benard) invited Gio (Giovanni Mazza) into his home. “Before I do I have a question…did you know?” Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told Lois (Rena Sofer) and Gloria (Ellen Travolta) nothing they said could make her understand how the two people she loved most in the world could lie to her. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) entered and told Rocco that Gio was telling the truth…he was his son and Rocco’s brother. Alexis told Laura she invested some of the funds into a mutual fund called Dolos, assuring her she wanted to make sure Ace’s funds remained in the strongest possible position. Lucky told Elizabeth that Kristina cut the brake line to what she thought was Ava’s (Maura West) care after one of their altercations. Kristina told Michael that making compromises with Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) would be the wrong move. After Gio came in, Sonny told him he never knew he was his grandson or that Brook Lynn was pregnant. Sonny told Gio when Lois introduced him to him he knew he was special. Dante told Rocco “Gio was lied to. Him and everyone else.” Gloria reminded Brook Lynn she needed to show respect. Gloria then told Brook Lynn how hard it was for her mother when her teenage daughter came home from camp pregnant. Lois again told Brook Lynn she did what she thought was best for her and Carmella was a God sent. Gloria asked whether Brook Lynn would have preferred her child be given to strangers and she never saw him again. Kristina told Michael that Willow is as consumed with Drew (Cameron Mathison) as she was with Shiloh. Lucky admitted he’s known since the accident and has been covering for Kristina. Sonny told Gio that Lois’ choices and secrets were the reason he and Dante knew where he was coming from. Dante tried to explain to Rocco how Gio came to be his son. He added he found out last night when Gio announced it and smashed his violin. Lois told Brook Lynn she regretted how it all came out and that Brook Lynn was in pain. But she didn’t regret giving Gio to Carmella. Brook Lynn asked whether it was best when Gio became an orphan after Carmella died and they still said nothing. Laura asked Alexis to keep her in the loop in the future. As she was leaving, Alexis’ assistant Suzanna asked how Laura felt about the new addition to her extended family. Rocco asked how Gio found out about the secret. “You kept me away from my son when he needed me and I will never forgive you for that,” Brook Lynn said. Sonny told Gio it may take some time before he and Dante could have a relationship. Kristina couldn’t believe Willow planned to take Michael’s kids away from him by moving to DC with Drew. Elizabeth asked Lucky why he hadn’t turned Kristina into the police. Lucky told Elizabeth it was a lack of judgement and a crime of passion. Lucky told Elizabeth he didn’t see any benefit to sending Kristina to prison for the rest of her life. Elizabeth told Lucky she could see one benefit: It could keep Ava from being killed. Lulu told Rocco how she undercovered the truth, adding she supported adoption but took issue with the lies. And when she found out Gio was there and living in Port Charles, she couldn’t keep quiet. Sonny told Gio there were times when he was angry with Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) for all the years he missed with Dante. But he forgave her and didn’t regret it. Brook Lynn told Gloria she didn’t know what she and Gio could have given to each other’s lives. Elizabeth asked Lucky what’s to keep Kristina from trying to kill Ava again. Lucky told Elizabeth he could be charged as an accessory for covering it up. And on some level, protecting Kristina was because of Sam (Kelly Monaco) saving Lulu’s life. Elizabeth agreed to keep the secret. Marco (Adrian Anchondo) entered her office and told Alexis he needed to discuss the Dulos transactions. Lois asked Brook Lynn to please tell her she believed she loved her. Dante told Rocco he needed to figure out what to do with Gio. Sonny told Gio he could stay there if he needed a place to stay. Gio smiled and told Sonny whatever he did next would be his decision. “If I don’t have any option, I will break Willow,” Michael said. Kristina commented that Willow was going to see a Michael Cornithos she’s never seen. Marco told Alexis Dulos looked like a shell company set up for money laundering. Lucky told Elizabeth he couldn’t lie to her. Elizabeth said once she got the cast off later today, she wanted them to move on. She told him she would miss the three of them living together. After Lucky went into the kitchen to check on the dinner he was making, Elizabeth found a ring box on the couch. Rocco told Lulu that once Gio thought about it, he would be happy to have Dante as a father. Sonny told his son he just missed Gio when Dante arrived at his house. Dante commented he missed twenty-two years of Gio’s life. Brook Lynn told Lois she loved her but would never understand her choices. She added that Gloria wasn’t at the Nurses Ball and didn’t see how much the decision hurt Gio. Brook Lynn turned around and saw Gio standing there.

Tuesday

At The Metro Court Pool, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) told Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina (Tabayana Ali) that she drove Gio (Giovanni Mazza) from Niagara Falls and left him at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard). Sonny told Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) he has a son that’s hurting. Gio told Gloria (Ellen Travolta), Lois (Rena Sofer) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) he was there to pick up the rest of his things. Marco (Anthony Anchondo) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) with his knowledge of international banking law, he could help her if she’s gotten into trouble due to an investment. Diane (Carolyn Henessy) encouraged Rick (Rick Hearst) to convince his client to accept their offer. Jason (Steve Burton) reminded Carly (Laura Wright) she needed to keep her cool on the stand. Nina (Cynthia Watros), Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). “Don’t worry Willow, everything’s going to work out just fine” Nina assured when she saw Sasha (Sofia Mattson) walk over to Michael (Rory Gibson), Kristina (Kate Mansi), Carly and Jason. Drew told Rick he needed to convince the judge the kids belonged with Willow. Jason assured Sasha she was cool under pressure. Diane told Jason and Michael they had a problem. Sonny assured Dante that he and Gio could still develop a father son relationship. Lois told Gio that Brook Lynn had nothing to do with this. “Is that true…did they make you give me up?” Gio asked Brook Lynn. Diane told Jason he had to support Michael from afar because if he were in the courtroom, Rick could call him to the stand and make him testify about the incendiary device at Sonny’s and the danger his proximity to Michael posed to the kids. Alexis thanked Marco for looking out for her. Rick called Alexis and told her she needed to get down to the courthouse. “Whatever you’re gonna do, do it fast…we’re starting” Rick told Alexis. Emma gave Josslyn (Eden McCoy) the evil eye when Joss arrived at The Metro Court Pool. Jenz (Carlos Rota) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) arrive at The Metro Court Pool. Jenz introduced Jordan to Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and told her about Professor Dalton’s cutting edge research that would change the world. Josslyn said she couldn’t join Trina because she had to work. Emma told Trina that Josslyn stole her job. Judge Heran took the stand and the custody hearing began. Diane said her client, Michael Corninthos III was seeking full custody of his children and was willing to give Willow Tait Corinthos a five million dollar divorce settlement. Rick told the court Michael Corninthos’ money was no good in exchange for her children and Willow wanted full custody. Judge Heran told Diane to call her first witness. Carly took the stand and testified about being at the Quartermaine mansion when the video of Willow’s affair was played, how Willow and her mother Nina tried to take the kids from the house Willow shared with Michael, how Michael let her because he put his kids needs first and how Wiley called her from DC after Willow took the kids there without Michael’s permission. Jossly joined Professor Dalton, Jenz and Jordan at their table and talked about her job as Professor Dalton’s assistant. He added about his rigorous screening process due to needing people he trusted. Jason came over to Sonny’s and they talked about Gio. Lois said when she was in hospice Carmella agreed with them it would be too much for Gio to know the truth. Brook Lynn asked whether they pressured a dying woman into keeping their secret. Chase (Josh Swickard) testified about having a court order removing Wiley and Amelia from Nina’s apartment, how he was once married to Willow and how she cheated on him with Michael. Judge Heran called a ten minute recess. Professor Dalton thanked Jenz for his financial support. Trina told Emma she understood why she was upset. Dante watched as Alexis ushered Kristina out of the courthouse. Lois assured they didn’t pressure Carmella with Gloria adding they wouldn’t have stopped Carmella if she wanted to use her dying breath to tell Gio the truth. Brook Lynn said they could have told her about Gio after Carmella died. Dante told Diane that Alexis took Kristina out of the courthouse. Michael told Diane he knew who could testify in lieu of Kristina. Sonny told Jason it broke his heart when Gio broke his violin onstage. Brook Lynn ordered Lois and Gloria out of the house and told them their things would be sent to them in Bensonhurst. Dante testified about the incendiary device and how Michael was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Rick had Dante read from Michael’s criminal file about his conviction and prison sentence for killing Claudia Zaccaria (Sarah Joy Brown). Diane redirected asking Dante to explain the circumstances of Michael’s arrest and conviction for protecting his baby sister. Rick added the murder weapon was an ax handle and Michael was convicted for involuntary manslaughter. Tracy testified about how despite her relationship with Michael, he was the future of the Quartermaine family. She added Drew wanted everything Michael had, including his wife. Rick made Tracy testify about her arrest on January 17. Lois came to see Sonny and told him she and her mother were on their way back to Bensonhurst. She asked him to watch out for Gio. Meanwhile, Gio told Brook Lynn although he understood they were both lied to the fact she didn’t want him so he didn’t want her now. Judge Heran refused to grant a recess for Diane to confer with her next witness, Josslyn. Fortunately, Josslyn answered Rick’s question calmly and was in control. Carly hoped Josslyn wouldn’t like Rick bait her.

Wednesday

Anna (FinolaHughes) thanked Jack (Chris L. McKenna) for coming to her office and told him it wasn’t about police business. “It’s entirely personal,” Anna said. At The Metro Court Pool, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) told Emma (Braedyn Bruner) he’s working as a lifeguard because he couldn’t stay with her grandmother forever. Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) surprised Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) with a romantic meal at the park at a gazebo. “I’m afraid this thing could have huge repercussions for our entire family” Laura (Genie Francis) told Sonny (Maurice Benard). Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) barged in on Lulu (Alexa Havins) demanding to know how she could have blown Gio’s life to hell. Rick (Rick Hearst) asked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) whether it was true her sister-in-law’s only desire was being a good mother to her children. Josslyn said that she ran into Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) in the ladies room at the Nurses Ball and Willow told her nothing was more important to her then being with Drew (Cameron Mathison). Elizabeth told Lucky having a cast on her leg kept her from dancing with him. Lucky played a song on his phone and asked “May I have this dance?” Gio told Emma the only person who could believe was her. The other person was Sonny…but now he was so sure. Gio came over to Laura and Sonny’s table and asked his grandfather “Are you keeping tabs on me?” “You can not deny your disgusting part in this” Brook Lynn said and told Lulu she wasn’t off the hook. Willow got up and accused Josslyn of taking what she said out of context and demanded she tell the rest. Judge Heran ordered Willow to sit down. Rick asked Josslyn what else happened. Josslyn said Drew came into the ladies room, threatened her and said Michael wouldn’t get custody of his kids. Diane (Carolyn Henessy) smiled at Josslyn as she walked off the stand. She called her next witness: Michael Cornithos (Rory Gibson). He testified about Willow growing up in a cult, Dawn of Day and would do anything the cult leader Shiloh said. It’s the same as she’s doing now with Drew. Michael then testified about Willow not telling him she had leukemia when she was pregnant with their daughter Amelia because she’s a damaged person, and not capable of caring for their children. Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) came up to Emma as she sat by the pool. Anna told Chris she believed whatever Professor Dalton was working on was big. Laura told Gio she was the one who invited Sonny there. Sonny introduced Gio to Rocco’s (Finn Carter) grandmother. Laura told Gio she knew Rocco was looking forward to getting to know him. After Gio walked away, Laura told Sonny the young man was obviously in a lot of pain. Lulu told Brook Lynn why she suspected Gio was Brook Lynn’s son. Brook Lynn told Lulu she should have stayed out of it. Rick cross examined Michael and questioned him about his unsafe upbringing then revisited his involuntary manslaughter conviction. Lucky told Elizabeth this was just the setup to the main event. Then, he produced the ring box. Jack told Anna her being a protective grandmother was clouding her judgment. Vaughn (Van Hansis) watched as Emma and Professor Dalton talked. Laura told Sonny they needed to keep an eye on Rocco. Brook Lynn told Lulu that Gio wanted nothing to do with her. Diane redirected and told Michael how Willow filed court documents making Drew legal guardian of her children in the event something happened to her. Then, Diane presented two pieces of evidence: Photos of Drew with a woman convicted a sex crimes. Finally, Diane showed the video on the monitor of Willow having sex with Drew in her children’s nursery. “I rest my case,” Diane said. Rick questioned his first witness: Nina (Cynthia Watros). She testified Willow was the best mother she ever saw and her children adored her. Nina said Michael didn’t want custody of his children and just wanted to pay Willow back for falling out of love with him. Diane questioned Nina and called her opinion of whether Michael wanted custody speculation. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) came to Anna’s office to invite her for a bite to eat. Anna told Felicia about her talk with Jack. Vaughn received a call and told the person he’d be right there. Emma asked Professor Dalton whether they could meet up sometime and talk about things discussed in class. Josslyn received a text and told Carly (Laura Wright) she had to leave for a work thing. Rick questioned Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Sasha testified about seeing Drew and Willow kissing on the Fourth of July last year. Rick questioned Sasha about her past relationship with Michael. Sasha said they broke up in 2021. Rick then asked “When was the last time you slept with Michael Cornithos?” Vaughn came to Jack’s office and he told her that Anna Devane is launching her own investigation into Professor Dalton. “So Anna can not get in our way,” Jack told Vaughn. Felicia asked Anna whether she was overcompensating with Emma because of Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Emma told Professor Dalton she’d be in touch about them getting together. Councilman Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) live streamed Laura and Sonny together at The Metro Court Pool. Brook Lynn accused Lulu of finally getting what she wanted by ruining her life. Rick forced Sasha to admit to being at the Brown Dog Bar in October and leaving with Michael. “Don’t worry…I know how to handle Devane,” Vaughn told Jack. Anna told Felicia even if she is overcompensating with Dalton, her instincts are telling her that something is up with Dalton. Emma asked Gio whether Dalton was watching before removing her towel. Lucky got down on one knee and proposed to Elizabeth, who answered “I love you so much…but my answer is no.” Gio “accidentally” knocked Ezra into the pool. “I like this grandson of yours” Laura told Sonny. Rick reminded Sasha of the penalty for perjury and got her to admit she slept with Michael and he was the father of her baby.

Thursday

“Are you saying No now or forever?” Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) asked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Maxie (Kirsten Storms) met Sonny (Maurice Benard) at The Metro Court and told him Deception needed Jenz (Carlos Sidwell) more than him. Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brook Lynn) pretend they’re not having problems when Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) comes over. Anna (Finola Hughes) told Jason (Steve Burton) she needed his help. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Jack (Chris L. McKenna) about joining Dalton (Daniel Goddard) and Sidwell at The Metro Court. Rick (Rick Hearst) stresses that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Michael’s sexual encounter occurred before Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) cheated. “As far as you know, Mr. Cornithos was unfaithful first” Rick said. Elizabeth told Lucky their lifestyles did fit marriage. Anna told Jason that Josslyn is Professor Dalton’s new assistant and he could be involved in something illegal. Jack gave Josslyn a device to clone the contents of Professor Dalton’s phone and warned him of Anna’s suspicions which could blow her cover. Diane (Carolyn Henessy) established timelines that Willow kissed Drew twice and admitted her feelings for him before October. Rick redirected and asked Sasha how much Michael (Rory Gibson) was paying her to lie about her pregnancy. Natalia (Eva LaRue) interrupted Lucas (Van Hansis) and Marco (Anthony Anchondo) to ask her son to speak with Allison and convince her to allow her to join the tour. The Ashford’s welcomed Marshall home and Trina introduced Kai to her grandfather. Elizabeth told Lucky she wanted him to be happy, which he couldn’t be living at home and doing the same thing every day. Sasha experienced pain as she answered Rick’s questions about the reasons for keeping her baby’s paternity secret. Lucky admitted maybe Elizabeth was right that being in Port Charles full time wouldn’t be right for him. He suggested she leave with him instead and see the world. Kai and Trina told Marshall about Josh and the documentary and Drew (Cameron Mathison) paying for his surgery. Marco told Natalia like Allison, he didn’t want anything to do with her. Anna told Jason the fact that the WBS is investigating Professor Dalton added to her suspicions. Rick called Sasha’s pain theatrics. But Judge Heran called a recess while the witness sought medical attention. Michael assured Sasha she wouldn’t lose the baby like Liam. “Michael, let me help,” Willow offered. She told Sasha that her water broke and her contradictions are coming every two minutes. “This baby is coming,” Willow told Sasha. Elizabeth told Lucky she wouldn’t want to leave the life she had there with family, friends and a career she loved behind. It would make her as unhappy leaving as he did staying. “Go get drunk somewhere else” Marco told Natalia. Sonny asked Natalia to have a seat and told her sooner or later Marco would realize he needed his mother. “Why are you being so nice?” Natalia asked Sonny. Anna told Jason the fact that Brennan brushed off her suspicions means there’s something there. “Under no circumstances are you to run interference” Jack told Josslyn. Carly (Laura Wright) learned the paramedics couldn’t get to the courthouse due to a protest. Nina (Cynthia Watros) confronted Rick about not using the bartender’s contact information to establish about Michael’s baby. “It was you. You’re the reason Rick found out about Michael’s baby” Carly said angrily to Nina. Lucky and Elizabeth admit they will always love each other. But they just don’t want the same things. Lucas asked Marco whether they wanted to talk about it. Sonny told Natalia he thinks she and her kids will be able to find their way back to each other. Natalia left a message for Jenz that he owed her and she was coming over to collect. Trina told Portia about Michael’s entrance at the Nurses Ball. Marshall told Curtis that Kai’s admiration for Drew worried him. Willow got fresh towels and assured Sasha she was doing great and needed to give one last big push. Michael assured Sasha the baby would be okay because she was one of the strongest people he knew. But Sasha asked Willow why wasn’t the baby crying. When the baby started crying, Willow announced “It’s a girl.” Carly told Drew that she knew for a fact Nina was the one who hired Jucinda and had him drugged. Lucky told Elizabeth he was leaving Port Charles soon. Jack told Agent Jax he would handle Devane. Anna told Jason they needed to find out what Dalton was up to. She told Jason she needed him to look into Dalton for her and asked him to promise he wouldn’t confront him directly. “I’ll take care of it,” Jason told Anna. Sonny told Maxie it was possible Sidwell’s interest in Deception was because of his interest in him. Lucas urged Marco to give his mother a chance. Natalia was given a breathalyzer and was arrested when her alcohol level was 1.2. Kai overheard Curtis talking with Portia about finding Jucinda. Sasha and Michael held their daughter. Michael mouthed thank you to Willow. Then, the paramedics, Carly and Willow entered.

Friday

Marshall (Robert Gossett) told Curtis (Donnell Turner) he hoped Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) would see the truth about Drew (Cameron Mathison) sooner rather than later. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) came to the PCPD interrogation room to ask Natalia (Eva LaRue) a few questions. “I’m being harassed because I know Sonny Cornithos and I’ll tell you, the police are not going to get away with it,” Natalia said. Marco (Anthony Anchondo) interrupted Jenz (Carlos Rota) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) who said she had a question about Henry Dalton (Daniel Goddard). ADA Turner (Nazneen Contractor) was jogging in the park and came upon Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) At GH, Michael (Rory Gibson) introduced Sonny (Maurice Benard) to his new granddaughter, Daisy. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) congratulated Carly (Laura Wright) on the birth of a new Spencer woman who was also a Scorpio. Felicia told Carly the person she needed to thank was Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) who stood behind them. Nina (Cynthia Watros) came to Drew’s house and told him they’d both lose Willow if he told her she tried to ruin his life and reputation. Marshall commented to Curtis (Donnell Turner) he got the feeling Portia (Brooke Kerr) was using work to get out of there. Molly told Natalia she couldn’t have to recuse herself from prosecuting her case because of personal bias as she knew her to be the homophobe he insulted her sister. Marco told Jenz and Jordan they wouldn’t want Measure C to pass. After Jason walked away, Anna and ADA Turner discussed Turner’s bid to run for DA. Marshall questioned Curtis about why he was still there after finding out Portia lied to him again. Nina told Drew she now realized she’ll never be able to separate him from Willow. Carly thanked Willow for helping Sasha and said she just wanted all her grandchildren to wind up where they were safe and happy. After Carly walked away, Willow told Felicia now that Michael’s secret is out, he will lose custody of the kids. Michael congratulated Sonny on the birth of another grandchild. Sonny welcomed his son home with a hug. Drew told Nina once Willow was granted custody, they were leaving Port Charles to make a new life in DC away from all his haters. Nina asked whether that was what Willow wanted. Cody (Josh Kelly) met his new baby cousin Daisy. He commented he owed Jason a lot of apologies, adding at least something came out of their doomed romance. Cody said he was glad Sasha found her happily ever after. Sasha hoped Cody would too. Natalia reminded Molly that Kristina (Kate Mansi) forgave her. Michael told Sonny he wouldn’t trade being his son. And now that he was an adult, he could take care of himself and his family. After Jordan left, Marco told Jenz that Sonny wouldn’t give up so easily. “A smart man knows that sometimes compromise is the only opportunity. You’re a smart man Michael” Sonny said. Jason came to see Sasha and met Daisy. Sasha asked Jason to be Daisy’s godfather. “Can I come in?” Carly asked. Jordan came to say hello to Marshall but he’d already left. Curtis told Jordan he needed his father’s insight and didn’t know what would happen between him and Portia. Molly joined Cody at The Metro Court Pool. Marco ignored Natalia’s phone call. She left a voicemail that she was in real trouble and needed his help and asked him to come to the PCPD. ADA Turner received a call about the arrest and said she’d take care of it personally. Marco told Jenz because of Lucas’ connection to Sonny, he couldn’t help with his father’s plans for Corinthos. Nina told Drew he’d get the credit if he supported Willow and Michael’s compromise. But Drew told her the Quartermaines were relentless and wouldn’t stop until they took Willow’s kids away from her unless she won custody. Willow wanted to talk with Michael. But he told her he wanted to pick up Wiley and Amelia and introduce them to their new baby sister. After Jason left, Sasha told Carly that Michael knew about the baby. Carly just wanted Sasha and Michael to be honest with each other. She asked Sasha to come to her if she needed anything. Molly took off her shoes, rolled up her pants and put her feet in the pool. ADA Turner reviewed Natalia’s arrest record and told the desk sergeant she wanted to find out whether Ms. Raminez had any priors. She needed to know everything about Natalia Ramirez. Curtis told Jordan about what Drew had on Portia. Nina came to visit Sasha to see whether she was alright and told her she was the one who told Rick (Rick Hearst) about Sasha and Michael. Carly asked Jason whether he would have continued to lie to her if the truth hadn’t come out. Sasha asked Nina whether she thought the kids would be better off with Drew full time. “If you want to save your marriage, you’ll find a way,” Jordan told Curtis. Anna came to GH and congratulated Sonny on his new grandchild. She told him about her conversation with ADA Turner who planned to go after Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) job and has made it her mission to bring Sonny down.
