A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At The Metro Court Pool, Scout thanked Sam (Kelly Monaco) for taking her to her swim lesson. Both Sam and Scout said how much they missed Drew (Cameron Mathison) so Scout suggested “We can miss him together.” “That just breaks my heart” an eavesdropping Gladys said. “I just bet it does,” Sam said, annoyed. Cody (Josh Kelly) interrupted Diane’s (Caroly Henessey) day of pampering at Marta & Chloe’s to tell her that he wouldn’t be pressing charges or cooperating with the PCPD if they went after Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). At Ferncliff, Sasha told Mandy she felt like she lost a clunk of time. But what would help would be if she could talk with her guardian, mother-in-law. Mandy offered to call Gladys for Sasha. Sonny (Maurice Benard) thanked Brick (Stephen A. Smith) for meeting him. Nina (Cynthia Watros) was on the phone planning her wedding when Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) came by. Olivia reminded Nina how before Sonny lost his memory he loved Carly (Laura Wright). “And now he’s marrying you.” Sam suggested Scout go back over to the pool then faced Gladys, who ignored a call from Ferncliff. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) opened the door for Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). “Why are you alone? Where are my grandmother and Kevin?” he asked. “They’re still looking for your father,” Valentin answered. Anna (Finola Hughes) barged into Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) office and asked how he stood with the WSB. Robert commented that everyone who was around in his day had either been put out to pasture or transferred. Nina and Olivia talked about the similarity between Ned (Wally Kurth) and Sonny’s memory loss. She worried that while Ned thought he was Eddie, he could fall in love with some other woman. “Just like Sonny fell in love with you,” Olivia said. Brick told Sonny how Betty Rutherford once worked for a trucking company in Pautauk. Sam asked Gladys what could have driven Sasha to stab Cody. Mandy told Sasha she had to leave a voicemail for Gladys. Dr. Montague entered as Sasha was asking Mandy to call Cody Bell next. Cody told Diane he’d given her more information on what’s going on once she got him in to see Sasha. Valentin told Spencer how Laura and Kevin left Chechnya for Prague and Cassadine Island. But didn’t find Nikolas (Adam Huss) there either. “Maybe you can’t find him because he’s dead” Esme (Avery Pohl Kristen) said entering the room with Ace. Anna told Robert how her debriefing in London seemed to be a different process then asked “What do you know about Pikeman?” Spencer reasoned that Nikolas made a mess of his life then disappeared like he did before. Spencer commented his grandmother was wasting her time looking for him because they’d be better off without him. Dr. Montague told Mandy to consult with him before calling anyone for Sasha. After Sasha’s restraints were removed, Mandy left the room. Dr. Montague asked Sasha whether it would be awkward if she called Cody Bell. When Diane said only Sasha’s guardian could arrange a visit, Cody said he’d find another way. Gladys told Sam if she paid more attention to Sasha as she was snooping on her, she would have seen the signs. Brick showed Sonny photos of Austin and Gordon and gave a briefing on the men. Olivia told Nina she found the perfect thing to get her mind off Eddie Maine and all things Quartermaine. “I’m going to plan your wedding,” Olivia told Nina. Gladys told Sam she was the only one who saw what was going on with Sasha because no one knew her like she did. Dr. Montague told Sasha the pills he gave her didn’t cause her hallucinations. “We found these in your purse,” he said. Olivia assured Nina that planning her wedding wouldn’t affect her friendship with Carly. Brick told Sonny how Gordon was an ex-con who spent five years in Pentonville for grand larceny. Gordon also worked for the trucking company. Valentin called Ace a credit to his brother and mother. Anna remembered the debriefing in London and spotting a file on Pikeman. Nina told Olivia she and Sonny would be honored if she planned their wedding. Sonny reasoned Mason wasn’t the big fish. Spencer thanked Valentin for showing up in Greenland and said he was wrong about him. Valentin told Spencer they had a chance to reinvent the Cassadine family. Diane came to see Robert and demanded he drop all charges against her client Sasha as Cody Bell said he wouldn’t cooperate with the DA’s office so he had no case. Diane gave Robert a ticket to the Port Charles Auto Show for this weekend. Talking about getting a new car for reliability instead of sticking with an old model, it was obvious Diane wasn’t just referring to cars. Anna made a flow chart about Sonny and Pikeman and the connection seemed to be Valentin. Sam called Ferncliff about visiting Sasha but was told only those approved by her guardian Gladys Corbin were allowed. Olivia reminded Nina how good it was for her business if she had her wedding at The Metro Court. Sonny told Brick how Mason had Nikolas Cassadine’s body and that Ava (Maura West) killed him. “He lives until we get that body back,” Sonny told Brick. Esme and Spencer took pictures of them with Ace. Spencer suggested they send the pictures to Laura. Sasha insisted the pills weren’t hers…someone must have planted them. Dr. Montague shot something into Sasha’s IV saying it would help get the drugs out of her system. Cody arrived at Ferncliff and lied he was Dante Falconieri (Dominic Zamprogna) and asked “Can I please see her?” Nina told Sonny that Olivia agreed to plan their wedding at The Metro Court. A nurse Janice refused to let Cody see Sasha unless he presented his ID. “The only way you’re getting in here is if you have an ID or if you’re a patient” she told Cody. Sam assured Scout she didn’t do anything wrong. “Someone else did.” Dr. Montague called Gladys and told her Sasha was doing just fine. Meanwhile, Sasha cried she didn’t want to be there at Ferncliff. “I wanna go home.” Diane said she’d take Alexis (Nancy Grahan) since he didn’t seem too interested in the car show. Anna wondered what Valentin’s link was to Pikeman as Valentin entered her house. “I think I know who shot at me…and I think you know them too” Anna told Valentin.

Tuesday

“Well that’s not the usual greeting I get when I walk through the door” Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) said. Anna (Finola Hughes) asked Valentin what that message meant he asked her to deliver to Sonny (Maurice Benard). Martin (Michael E. Knight) told Cyrus (Jeff Kober) he did as he asked and transferred all his money from his accounts, making Cyrus now penniless. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was surprised when Cody (Josh Kelly) entered her room at Ferncliff. Finn (Michael Easton) flirted with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) telling her GH had something he wouldn’t find anywhere else in the world. “It’s time to have Ned committed” Tracy (Jane Elliot) told Olivia (Lisa LoCierco). Gregory (Gregory Harrison) was surprised to learn Finn was considering leaving GH. Gregory notices how happy his son was and commented that Finn was smiling. Eddie (Wally Kurth) overheard Tracy ordering Olivia to have Ned committed. Cody confronted Sasha about trying to murder him when all he ever tried to do was help her. Then he turned into Cyrus who called her a strung out junkie who would die with a needle in her arms. Sasha cried when Cyrus told her to come back to him because she needed him. Cody found Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and told her he needed her help getting into Ferncliff. Martin said it was a possibility Cyrus was stashing money somewhere. But Cyrus insisted Martin gave away every dime he had. Anna told Valentin she needed to know the cryptic message he had delivered to Sonny. She reasoned the timing of her delivering the message and she and Sonny being shot at wasn’t a coincidence. “Are you keeping something from me?” Anna asked Valentin. Martin told Cyrus he was worried about him going back to Pentonville. After he left his brother’s room, Martin asked Austin (Roger Howarth) whether his brother was okay to return to Pentonville. Austin received a text from Mason. The hallucinations of Cyrus and Cody continued to taunt Sasha. Meanwhile, Cody asked Brook Lynn to call Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and say she wanted to visit Sasha. Olivia told Tracy she wouldn’t have her husband committed not now, not ever. Valentin told Anna the third party was a defense contractor named Pikeman. Austin accused Mason of killing Gordon. Mason reminded Austin it wouldn’t be long before the cops found out Austin got into a fight with Gordon outside that fancy restaurant. Valentin told Anna years ago before Charlotte was born he handled logistics for Pikeman. “They asked me to be an intermediary with Sonny,” Valentin told Anna. “Why would you do that?” Anna asked. Eddie thanked Olivia for standing up for him with Tracy. He told her he wasn’t Ned because Ned didn’t exist. “Whatever you may believe you are Ned Quartermaine” Olivia said. But Eddie told her he wouldn’t be someone he’s not. Olivia suggested he and Brook Lynn make music together. Tracy got off the elevator and ran into Gregory. She told him she was worried about him because he couldn’t pick up his credit card at The Metro Court. Cody and Brook Lynn arrived at Ferncliff. Brook Lynn rambled on to Nurse Janice about Jan and The Brady Bunch before handing over her driver’s license so Janice could check whether she was on the approved visitor’s list. Looking at Brook Lynn’s name on her driver’s license, Janice asked “Are you the BLQ who works with Blaze and Chase?” Valentin told Anna he hoped Pikeman could help him bring down Victor (Charles Shaughnessy), adding “Because they’re connected to the WSB.” Finn and Elizabeth overheard Tracy and Gregory arguing. While Nurse Janice listened to a sneak peek of Blaze and Chase’s new single which didn’t come out for months, Brook Lynn gestured to Cody to go to Sasha’s room. Mason warned Austin to be careful when he disrespected family. Then, Mason left Austin’s office. Tracy told Gregory she needed to speak with a doctor because her son needed to be committed. Olivia told Eddie where Brook Lynn writes her songs and offered to be his audience. Valentin told Anna how Pikeman was a revolving door for any agent who left the WSB. While Nurse Janice told Brook Lynn she’d have an orderly take her to Ms. Gilmore’s room, Cody entered Sasha’s room. She stared at him. Ned asked Olivia to get him some ice tea because his throat was dry from singing. Gregory told Tracy she couldn’t have Ned locked up. Nurse Janice told Brook Lynn she had to have the orderly with her because all visits with Sasha needed to be supervised. Cyrus smirked at Austin as he was put on the elevator. Olivia returned with the ice tea and found Ned gone. Anna told Valentin she knew she was the target of the shooting and refused to be a sitting duck. “So if you’ve got anything else to tell me now would be a really good time to do so before they take another shot. Because honestly, the next time they might not miss, ” Anna said. Then, she left to find out what the missing piece was. Sasha started screaming at Cody. The orderly entered and forced Cody out of her room. Brook Lynn was shocked hearing Sasha’s reaction.

Wednesday

Alexis (Nancy Grahan) was furious when she read that corrupt Senator Wilkins was acquitted on all charges. She told Gregory (Gregory Harrison) she was so mad she wanted to break something. “Why don’t you?” he asked. Carly (Laura Wright) came to see Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) at her old office at The Metro Court. She told Olivis she heard about everything that’s been going on since Ned (Wally Kurth) left the hospital. “I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy” Carly said as Nina (Cynthia Watros) appeared. Marshall (Robert Gossett) came to see Curtis (Donnell Turner) and pulled out a deck of cards. Portia was happy when Trina (Tabyana Ali) returned home, calling it the best news she’s had in a long time. She was less happy to see Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) who was helping Trina move her stuff back in. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) entered the interrogation room at the PCPD, surprised to see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) there working. After they finished watching a movie, Donna convinced Sonny (Maurice Benard) to allow her to stay up with him a little longer. Nina told Olivia she came to thank her for what she did that morning, adding they could talk about it later. Then, Nina left. “What was all that about?” Carly asked. “I’m helping Nina and Sonny plan the wedding,” Olivia answered. Gregory told Olivia he had a much better idea than destroying her office. He took her to the Ax bar, telling her it would help her unload her frustrations. He told her it was on his bucket list. Sonny called Dante to ask whether he was watching the fight but learned his son was at work. Jordan asked whether there were any updates on The Metro Court Pool shooting. Marshall brought the deck of cards to play Go Fish, which was Curtis’ favorite came to play as a kid. Curtis recalled how much he enjoyed spending time with Marshall when he was a kid. He thanked his dad for being there for him now. While Trina went to clear the stuff Portia was storing in Trina’s room, Portia told Spencer his help wasn’t necessary. Olivia told Carly how she offered to plan the wedding for a distraction. She told Carly how Tracy (Jane Elliot) was trying to get Ned committed. When Carly asked how she could help, Olivia couldn’t believe it after the way she treated her. “None of that matters now,” Carly told Olivia. Nina came home to find Sonny in a good mood over the outcome of the boxing match he just watched. Dante told Jordan how the WSB seemed to be watching their hands of Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). While they played Go Fish, Curtis and Marshall talked about the music business. But Marshall was wondering what was going to happen to his son. Alexis and Gregory enjoyed the Ax bar. Nina told Sonny how when she went to Olivia’s office she was there with Carly. Carly assured Nina she’d always be there for her. Portia told Spencer she wanted some one-on-one time with her daughter. She told Spencer how the police believe that the bullet that injured Curtis was meant for his other uncle Sonny Corinthos. Jordan offered her help if Dante needed her, adding she owed it to Anna. Alexis told Gregory how she’s feeling alot less stressed now. Through a series of flashbacks, Olivia and Carly remembered the day they first met and how they became friends. Carly told Olivia becoming her friend was the best decision she ever made. Curtis told Marshall when he leaves GH he’s going to a rehab hospital, which he was dreading. Marshall told Curtis just because he had to learn to be in a wheelchair that didn’t mean he couldn’t stop hoping. Curtis told Marshall seeing Portia reminded him of the life they’d never have together, which just made things worse. Just then, Jordan entered. Spencer assured Portia he wasn’t like either of his uncles. He told Portia he wanted Trina safe and happy. Portia told Spencer he didn’t need to say goodbye to Trina in person as she’d let her daughter know he had to take off. Alexis reminded Gregory he only needed one bucket list that he could keep adding onto and didn’t need a second one. Marshall left Curtis’ hospital room. Jordan commented about Curtis playing Go Fish. Curis told Jordan playing a kid’s card game helped put his dad at ease. Jordan told Curtis she was there because she needed something from him. Trina told Portia she moved back home to help her mom make the house handicap accessible. Sonny reminded Nina how since Port Charles was a community she wouldn’t be able to avoid running into Carly. Gregory told Alexis how much his disease was robbing him but he wouldn’t let it rob him of whatever time he had left. Portia told Trina how Curtis has agreed to come home after he leaves the rehab facility. Trina told Portia she came home because she missed her. Jordan asked Curtis what he remembered about the shooting. Alexis told Gregory to enjoy the time he had left in his life. Sonny told Nina he was committed and serious about marrying her. But said they had to pick a date tomorrow. Carly understood how Olivia needed planning the wedding to distract her. “Doesn’t mean I have to like it. But I can learn to live with it” Carly said. She told Olivia she was worried about Drew (Cameron Mathison). “You wanna get out of here?” Carly asked. “Where do you wanna go?” Olivia asked. “You’ll see,” Carly answered then they left Olivia’s office.

Thursday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) came over to Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) apartment with a bottle of wine and ice cream. It was just what Maxie needed as Georgie and James’ fighting was driving Maxie crazy. Portia (Brooke Kerr) was happy to see Marshall (Robert Gossett) and told him Trina (Tabyana Ali) was home. She went upstairs to get her daughter. At GH, Trina came and told Finn (Michael Easton) she needed his help. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came to Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) hospital room. Kristina (Kate Mansi), who was wearing a face mask and watching TV, scared Alexis (Nancy Grahan) when she came home and found her daughter sitting on the couch. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) came over to Anna’s (Finola Hughes) house. Someone watched from outside. Carly (Laura Wright) took Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) to the Highsider Bar. When Olivia went to the ladies room to wash her hands, Ned came up to Carly at the bar and started flirting with her. Maxie called Georgie and James out to the living room and told her kids to say hi to Sam. After she went into her bedroom with Georgie, Sam gave James some ice cream. Anna asked Dante whether he’s ever heard of Pikeman. Portia tried to convince Marshall not to move out. Trina told Finn she understood Curtis was a proud man and didn’t want her to see him like this. Curtis told Elizabeth he’ll have to adjust to living his life in a wheelchair. Maxie told James that Georgie was spending the night in her room. James took his bowl of ice cream into his bedroom.Sam told Maxie she may have a solution to her apartment dilemma. Olivia came out of the bathroom and saw Ned trying to pick up Carly. Alexis grabbed the bowl of popcorn and told her daughter about the hatchet bar. She found the finance and business management books Sam lent Kristina. Anna told Dante about Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) working for Pikeman. Ned sang to Carly. Olivia encouraged Carly to go back to Ned before he lost interest and found someone else. While Carly was with Ned, Mason came over to Olivia saying she looked lonely. Alexis realized Kristina was planning to burn the books in the fireplace. Sam suggested Maxie rent Dante and Lulu’s old house. Portia told Marshall she couldn’t help feeling it was her fault Curtis may spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Trina told Elizabeth that Dr. Finn was working on something for her. Finn told Curtis although he couldn’t cure him, he could do something to help. With that, Finn let Trina into Curtis’ room. Carly told Eddie she knew someone who went through something similar to what he was going through. Olivia pushed Mason away. Kristina assured she wasn’t planning to burn the books. Kristina told Alexis that Sam was right when she told her she didn’t have a business plan. Sam and Maxie talked about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Curtis told Finn he didn’t appreciate the ambush. After Finn left the room, Trina told Curtis she needed to see him before he went to rehab. Anna told Dante that Valentin told her about Pikeman because he was worried about her safety. Ned came to Olivia’s rescue and brawled with Mason. Portia told Marshall her years of lying set everything into motion leading up. Jordan (Tanisha Harper). She promised to be there for him. James finally fell asleep. Sam told Maxie she was proud of Kristina. Kristina told her mother she was going to finish her project. Curtis told Trina he realized he shouldn’t have pushed her away. Trina told Curtis she was there and wasn’t going anywhere. Finn rushed to his patient. Dante told Anna he would go to the PCPD to see if he could get information. The person watching Anna’s house saw Dante leave. Mason knocked Ned to the floor. Carly hit Mason over the head with a bottle. “Did I get him?” Eddie asked Olivia when he woke up.

Friday

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came up to the roof and told Finn (Michael Easton) he was in her spot. “I come here to make sense of everything that happens in this hospital,” Elizabeth said. “Which is exactly why I’m up here” Finn told Elizabeth. Sonny (Maurice Benard) spoke with Ava (Maura West) on the phone and assured he was handling the Betty situation. He then spoke with Avery (Ava and Grace) who couldn’t sleep because she was excited Betty was taking her to day camp in the morning. Nina (Cynthia Watros) entered the bedroom as Sonny was finishing up the call. He commented that Avery was a lot like her dad and found it hard to fall asleep. Nina told Sonny she could sleep as long as he was next to her. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was doing internet research on Pikeman when Sam (Kelly Monaco) entered the bedroom. At the PCPD, Eddie (Wally Kurth), Carly (Laura Wright) and Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) were protesting being arrested for the incident at the Highsider. “Shut Up or you’re all going down to the holding cell” Chase (Josh Swickward) warned. Someone watched as Anna (Finola Hughes) prepared to go for a jog. Carly and Olivia told Chase what happened at the Highsider that led to them being in his custody. Chase received a call from the manager at the Highsider saying they decided not to press charges. He told them he could release them as long as someone came to sign them out. Sam told Dante that Maxie (Kristen Storms) wanted to rent his house. “Who’s idea was that?” Dante asked. “Mine,” Sam answered. Sonny’s phone rang. Finn told Elizabeth he lost a patient tonight. He told her his patient contracted a parasite and while he was treating him he found anomalies in the man’s blood and discovered he had Stage 4 cancer. Because the man’s daughter was a classmate of Violet’s (Jophelle Love), it made him think what if it wasn’t him. While Anna was jogging, someone let themselves into her house. Finn worried if something happened to him who’d raise Violet. Then, he asked Elizabeth whether she’d be Violet’s guardian. Nina woke up and found herself alone in bed. Sam told Dante about what she witnessed at Maxie’s crowded apartment and assured Maxie would be a great renter. Dante thought it was a good idea and Lulu (Emme Rylan) would be happy Maxie was living there. He told Sam if Lulu were to wake up one day, she’d be the one to decide what to do with the house. But in the meantime, why should it sit empty when Maxie and her kids could be filling it up with memories. Chase called Dante and told him his mother was at the station due to an incident at the Highsider. Austin (Roger Howarth) found Mason in his office. “I need a doctor,” Mason said. Someone drenched Anna’s living room with kerosene. Nina called Ava and told her friend she woke up and found Sonny gone. “What did you expect?” Ava asked. Mason told Austin he didn’t go to the ER because he didn’t want to draw attention to them. Mason told Austin how he had an encounter with a lady at a bar. Dante arrived at the PCPD. Olivia insisted she didn’t do anything wrong so she refused to be released into her son’s custody. “Thanks for the offer but my ride is here” Eddie said when Sonny entered. Someone lit a match to the kerosene. Dante told his mother into the interrogation room for some privacy. Olivia said she was standing her ground and would spend the night at the PCPD. Dante reminded if she stayed there Leo would wake up and find her gone. “Okay I will do it for Leo but I will not admit I did anything wrong” Olivia told Dante. He offered to sign for both his mother and Carly too. But Carly told him he didn’t need to. Olivia asked Carly to call her when she got out. Sonny said he’d sign for Carly but she said “You can take Ned…I’m not going with you.” Nina vented to Ava how Sonny left without leaving her a note or texting her. Ava reminded Nina that the man she was engaged to was a mobster and would leave at night without explanation. Austin gave Mason stitches while he told her about the feisty woman’s blonde friend hitting him with a bottle and how he sneaked out the back in the confusion. He also decided to visit his cousin to get an update on Betty. Elizabeth told Finn if something were to happen to him he could count on her always. Someone continued to set fire to Anna’s place. Finn told Elizabeth it meant a lot to him knowing Violet would be taken care of and grow up in a loving home. Finn wanted to make sure Elizabeth knew what she was getting herself into. “How hard can it be…you’re doing it” Elizabeth said, causing Finn to lighten up and laugh. Dante watched Sam sleep. Ava agreed to let Avery sleep with her tonight. Mason again warned what would happen if Austin didn’t stop Ava from slipping up. Carly refused to leave with Sonny because she called Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Carly told Sonny to take Ned and go because she didn’t want his help. Anna returned home and found her front door hot. Finn and Elizabeth wished upon a star. Sam and Dante made love. After Sonny left with Ned, Chase told Carly she could sit and wait until her daughter came. “I’ll get you a coffee,” Chase said. Anna called about her house being on fire. “You need to hurry because this is spreading rapidly.”
