A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) was at The Metro Court Pool cleaning up when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) entered. She told him doing the work she paid staff to do helped keep her mind off Ned (Wally Kurth). “I gotta come to terms with the fact that I’ve lost my husband,” Olivia said. “What are you saying? You’re gonna give up on Ned?” Dante asked. Ned decided to go out for coffee, telling Sonny (Maurice Benard) he needed some space. Carly (Laura Wright) was annoyed that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) had her phone turned off and she had to spend the night at the PCPD. But she couldn’t entirely blame her daughter as she was the one who’d gotten into a bar fight. “You wanna tell me about that…what were you doing at the Highsider?” Josslyn asked her mother. When Dex (Evan Hofer) told him Betty was on her way up, Sonny requested Dex listen but keep out of sight. Dex hid when Betty entered. Sonny told Betty there’s been a change of plans. Anna (Finola Hughes) went through the rubble of her house. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) told Anna the police and fire department wrapped up their investigation. “I think we should go,” he said. “Yeah we should go. There’s nothing left here. Nothing left of my life” Anna said looking at a charred photo of Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and Emma (Brooklyn Sitzler). Sonny told Betty he had a business meeting and needed her to stay with Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) at his penthouse until five. “I’ll see you around five right?” Sonny said then opened the door for Betty and she left. Austin (Roger Howarth) was annoyed to find Mason in his office yet again. Mason told Austin he needed something for the headaches he’s having from where that blonde conked him. Carly told Josslyn they needed a distraction so they went to The Highsider. “Things got really crazy, really quickly. But believe it or not, it wasn’t our fault” Carly told Josslyn. Olivia told Dante for Leo and for her sake she had to figure out who Eddie is now. As Ned appears to have completely disappeared, she has to figure out a way to accept it. Dante had to leave when he got a phone call about the fire at Anna’s townhouse. Valentin said he shouldn’t have gone to ELQ last night and should have been there with her. Anna wondered whether the arsonist was outside waiting for her to leave or assumed she was asleep upstairs. “Someone made you a target of their revenge” Valentin told Anna. Sonny showed Dex a fabricated flash drive Brick did for Betty to find when she searched the place. Sonny’s plan is for Betty to bring the flash drive to Austin and Mason who will bring it to the person they worked for. Carly told Josslyn about what happened at The Highsider that led to her, Ned and Olivia getting arrested. Josslyn was surprised when her mother told her she could have left earlier if she let Sonny sign her out, asking why Carly didn’t. “If you care about him, why didn’t you let Sonny help you?” Josslyn asked. Anna and Valentin talked about how Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) put a target on her back. “Someone out there wants me to pay for what I did,” Anna told Valentin. Ned arrived at The Metro Court Pool. He told Olivia he wanted to see her because he was worried about her and wanted to know how she was doing after last night. They both were glad each other was okay. Carly explained to Josslyn that watching out for Sonny and assuring he stayed in power helped keep them all safe and not targets. Sonny told Dex how Mason was blackmailing Ava (Maura West). And as Betty didn’t know Ava came clean to him, she still thought he was in the dark about him getting information about Pikeman. Austin angrily said his office wasn’t a clubhouse when Betty entered. She told them how Sonny had a business meeting which gave her two hours to find information about Pikeman. Anna told Valentin how after what she did what the person after her was doing almost seemed righteous. Dante arrived and told Anna he needed to get a statement if she was up to it. Dante offered to give Anna a lift. Anna didn’t want Valentin to go with her. Sonny explained to Dex how the flash drive had tracking information which would let Brick into their network. Mason told Austin he could play the hero with Ava all he wanted but it was still about him (Austin). Carly told Josslyn hers and Sonny’s lives would always be intertwined. But all she could do was focus on the future. “At the end of the day Sonny is still family and we can’t forget that” Carly told Josslyn. Olivia told Eddie she realized he wasn’t Ned anymore, he was Eddie and he had to be true to himself. Eddie felt sorry for hurting her, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and even Tracy (Amanda Setton). Dante told Anna according to the evidence found by the fire department, it was arson. Anna told Dante how Valentin never came back last night. Dante walked away and asked for someone to get him security footage of ELQ. Sonny came to Carly’s house and asked whether it was her pride that prevented her from letting him sign her out. Eddie apologized for leaving the Quartermaine mansion when she went to get him a drink. He explained how he was freaking out about what Tracy said about having him committed and was afraid Tracy had changed her mind. Anna now reasoned that neither the WSB or Pikeman had anything to do with the fire. “This just feels like revenge plain and simple.” Anna believed that someone wanted payback. Dante commented how it looked like someone was planning to pull this off. Anna left the interrogation room of the PCPD to get a room at The Metro Court. After Anna left, Dante received a call that Valentin’s car never made it to ELQ. “I accept that you’re someone else now,” Olivia told Eddie. Carly told Sonny she couldn’t let him be her safety net anymore. “I just got to the point where I was depending on you for everything and I have to take care of myself now.” Sonny commented that he had a lot going on right now. Mason told Austin the boss wasn’t the type to explain himself. But if he wanted the Pikeman information, he was going to get it. Dex followed Betty as she left GH.

Tuesday

Gregory (Gregory Harrison) ran into Alexis (Nancy Grahan) at The Metro Court Pool. Both were there because they had a lunch date. TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Brooke Anne Smith) were preparing to interview applicants to be their surrogate. “Today could be the day we meet the woman who could be carrying our child” Molly told TJ. Portia (Brooke Kerr) showed up at the physical therapy facility to see Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) therapy session with his therapist Roy (Mykel Shannon Jenkins). Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) she was worried about Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Ava (Maura West) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) she needed an update about what was going on with Betty. Sonny assured he had it handled. Betty bought Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) home from summer camp and was eager to start searching for Pikeman information. Dex (Evan Hofer) called Sonny (Maurice Benard) who told him they needed to let Betty think she’s outsmarting them. Betty wanted Avery to go upstairs to her room and take a nap. But Avery said naps were for babies…she’d rather watch tv. Portia wanted to talk and have a breakthrough conversation like Curtis had with Trina (Tabyana Ali). But he reminded them they didn’t have the same issues to work through as he and Trina. TJ and Molly met surrogate candidate number one, Andrea Gates (Lily Harrison). Andrea explained she was married to a great guy named Randy and they had one child but as she’d been recently laid off due to budget cuts, she and her husband were trying to supplement their income. Andrea answered TJ and Molly’s questions regarding her medical history and whether it would be okay if they attended her doctor’s appointments. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) arrived at The Metro Court lunch with Alexis while Gregory met Brook Lynn as he was having lunch with her and Chase (Josh Swickward) who was delayed with work. Sonny assured Ava that Gabe and Dex would make sure Avery was safe. “We just had to wait until Betty found what I planted for her,” Sonny told Ava. Gregory asked Brook Lynn what she studied in college. Alexis told Esme she wanted to let her know she was doing a good job. After Andrea left, TJ and Molly agreed they liked her a lot. They prepared to meet candidate number two. Molly commented, “Number one is gonna be hard to beat.” Curtis told Portia he couldn’t do this with her because he was trying to adjust to living life in a wheelchair. Alexis told Esme people wouldn’t forget her past. But in business she had an opportunity to change what people thought about her. Alexis told Esme she got off to a rocky start in the beginning but now seemed to be doing well. Esme asked Alexis whether she missed her old life. Brook Lynn told Gregory she went to PCU for a year but it didn’t work out. Brook Lynn told Gregory about her untraditional upbringing being shuffled between the Cerullos and the Quartermaines. She commented that Gregory really pushed her grandmother’s buttons. TJ and Molly met and began interviewing surrogate candidate number two Chelsey Rennen. Chelsey explained she and her husband were divorced so she was doing this to get ahead financially. Chelsey answered Molly’s question about the difference between her first and second pregnancy. Chelsey was open to reading to the baby while pregnant. She talked about her diet regime during her pregnancy. Portia asked Roy whether she could stay and watch the rest of the session. Roy told Portia that spinal cord injuries are both emotional and physical and asked what she thought she could do for Curtis. As Gregory was asking what Brook Lynn needed Tracy (Jane Eliott) having her back for when Chase arrived. Sonny told Ava he put out some false information Betty was going to find. “It’s what you call cutting the snake off at the head.” Ava reminded what she really needed was Nikolas’ (Adam Huss) body back. Betty asked Avery to watch her cartoons on her tablet using headphones. Dex told Nina he couldn’t let her go inside. Alexis told Esme she missed being a lawyer very much. She thought that Esme’s question whether there were similarities between being a lawyer and editor of The Invader. Alexis asked how it was cohabitating with Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) with Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) away. Brook Lynn walked away when Gregory asked whether she and Chase discussed their future. Chase asked why his father was in such a rush. TJ and Molly met surrogate candidate number three Pamela Reed, who was a single mother. Pamela explained her son was school age so the pregnancy would be manageable and she worked from home as a translator. She told them she ate whatever she could afford but would change her diet as long as they picked up the tab. Pamela didn’t have an obgyn since she went to the free clinic but would go to any fancy GH doctor they wanted as long as they paid for it. She asked how long they’d pick up the tab after her pregnancy until her body got back to normal. Sonny told Ava they had to learn who Mason was working for in order to get Nikolas’ body back. Nina angrily said it was unbelievable when Dex told her it was the boss’ orders and he couldn’t let her in then walked away. “What do you think you’re doing?” Dex asked when he entered the penthouse. Betty lied she was looking for art supplies for Avery. She commented she had her hands full and really shouldn’t be disturbed. Dex left and told Gabe that Betty didn’t want to be disturbed. When Brook Lynn returned to the table, Gregory told her how Chase was telling him how happy he was. After Pamela left, TJ asked Molly what she thought. Roy encouraged Portia to be patient with Curtis and work with his timetable not hers. Betty accessed the Pikeman files on Sonny’s computer. ‘Why wasn’t I allowed into our home? What’s going on at the penthouse?” Nina asked. Alexis joined Gregory after Chase and Brook Lynn left. He told Alexis it was getting worse and he was running out of time. TJ and Molly agreed they liked Pamela the least. They decided to go with Andrea knowing they had a backup in Chelsey. Curtis did some reps to build his arm strength. Sonny assured Nina everything was fine. After Ava left, Sonny told Nina there were some things she shouldn’t know for her own safety. “I’m protecting my family. I hope that’s enough” Sonny said. Nina said it had to be because she guessed she didn’t have a choice. But before she left, Nina told Sonny “This just makes me feel like another one of your employees.” Dex returned to the penthouse. He gestured to Avery to be quiet. Meanwhile, Betty copied the file on Pikeman’s shipping schedule onto a flash drive.

Wednesday

Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Ava (Maura West) had drinks at The Metro Court Pool. Trina asked Ava whether she could go back to work at The Jerome Gallery. Ava said she’d be very happy to have Trina back. “Hey Trina, you wanna join us?” Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) called out from the pool with Ace. Marshall (Robert Gossett) came to Portia’s (Brooke Kerr) office and told her they had a problem. Selina (Lydia Look) watched as Curtis (Donnell Turner) did his physical therapy with Roy (Mykel Shannon Jenkins). Michael (Chad Duell) brought Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) to GH for her checkup. He noticed Dex (Evan Hofer) was watching Austin (Roger Howarth) while they were talking with him. Cody (Josh Kelly) met with Sam (Kelly Monaco) at The Bistro and said he needed her help. Cody told Sam that Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was in danger and they had to help her. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) came to the PCPD and demanded Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) issue a restraining order against Cody Bell. Mandy told Dr. Montague her belief Sasha was getting unprescribed meds from somewhere. “So I ordered a blood test to be sure,” she said. Trina told Ava how good a big brother Spencer has been to Ace. When Nina (Cynthia Watros) arrived, Trina went to join Ace and Spencer in the pool. Ava told Nina she called her so they could celebrate the end of her nightmare. Willow commented to Michael how light she felt now that she was in remission. Marshall told Portia how Neeka didn’t have the experience to run the day to day operation at The Savoy. He commented how Curtis was the heart and soul of The Savoy. “Anyone can run the club, but no one can replace Curtis,” Marshall said, adding they needed to keep Curtis’ dream alive. Roy urged Curtis to take a break in order not to have any setbacks. When Roy walked away, Selina approached and told Curtis he had her deepest sympathies. Dr. Montague told Mandy to consult with her first before ordering any more tests. Cody told Sam how he snuck in to see Sasha and her reaction. He told Sam that Sasha was being drugged and he needed her help to stop it. When Mac (John J. York) approached, Gladys told he she needed a restraining order to protect Sasha from Cody. “Officer Robinson will handle the paperwork” Mac told Gladys who walked away. “What kind of trouble is Cody causing now?” Mac asked Dante. He told him how Leopold Taub had Cody’s mother Dominique committed and how he snuck in to see her. He commented how he and Cody both had the same impulse to protect the women they loved. Cody told Sam he was going to get some proof Sasha was being drugged. Dr. Montague spoke with Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickward) about Sasha. Dex told Michael he was following Austin because he was on a job for Sonny (Maurice Benard). Curtis reminded Selina they weren’t friends. Without elaborating, Ava told Nina she’d be under a lot of stress and a huge weight has been lifted off her shoulders. Nina told Ava she felt like Ava and Sonny were shutting her out. Betty came to Austin’s office and showed him the flash drive calling him the jackpot. Selina told Curtis she wanted to buy The Savy from him and intended to make him a generous office. “Over my dead body,” Marshall said. Spencer encouraged Trina to check on her mom. Cody arrived at the PCPD and told Dante he needed to start doing his job and protect a woman in danger. “I’ve got something for you,” Gladys said, putting the restraining order to his chest. Willow happily told Michael she got the greenlight to go out in public. She was happy to be out of house jail but wouldn’t push going back to work. Michael suggested they go to some place to celebrate. Dex lied to Portia he was at GH for his yearly check up. Trina told Spencer how Portia went to see Curtis at rehab. He told her the best thing she could do for her mother was to be there for her. Selina told Marshall he’d be wise to keep her proposal in mind. Dr. Montague suggested Nurse Janice replace Nurse Mandy Green from Sasha’s care. Cody told Gladys she made Sasha feel trapped and helpless in order to continue to control her money. He lunged for her and had to be held back. Trina came to her mom’s office with a latte. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) asked Ace whether he wanted to take a swim with mommy. When Mason entered Austin’s office, Betty told him she got the Pikeman goods. Nina told Ava she’d be ready when her friend wanted to tell her what’s going on. After he was pulled away, Gladys demanded Cody be arrested. Nurse Janice told Nurse Mandy not to take it personally she was being pulled off Sasha’s case. When Willow and Michael arrived at The Metro Court Pool, Michael commented on Ava’s unusually good mood. Mason reminded Austin he wasn’t out until the boss said he was out. Portia told Trina she ordered everything Curtis would need. Curtis thanked Marshall for fighting his battles but assured he could handle Ms. Woo, adding he was more than capable of running his own club. Marshall asked Curtis to teach him how to run The Savoy. Mac convinced Gladys not to press charges against Cody by reminding the police would have to follow up on all Cody’s allegations against her. Gladys told Mac she expected the restraining order to be enforced then left the PCPD. Mac came into the interrogation room and told Cody he was lucky he convinced Gladys not to press charges. “But you’re inches away from a jail cell” Mac told Cody. “What the hell’s going on with you man?” Dante asked Cody. Sam snuck into Ferncliff and stood outside Sasha’s room and overheard her screaming for Nurse Janice to stay away from her.

Thursday

Tracy (Jane Eliott) wasn’t impressed when Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) brought her to a Hawaiian luau at The Metro Court. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) came to pick Finn (Michael Easton) up for their date. Alexis (Nancy Grahan), Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) were at TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly’s (Brooke Anne Smith) apartment. Molly said she had some family news. Kristina (Kate Mansi) came to GH to see Dr. Randolph (Cassandra James). Mac (John J. York) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) ordered Cody (Josh Kelly) to calm down. Dante told Cody to stop playing into Gladys’ (Bonnie Burroughs) by aggravating her. “Don’t push me!” Dante warned Cody. Molly announced that she and TJ found their surrogate. Kristina explained that she wanted Terry on the board of her foundation. Mac warned Cody that if he didn’t calm down he’d be spending the night in holding. He told Dante out of the interrogation room and told him he needed to get Cody under check. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) arrived to babysit Violet (Jophelle Love). After Finn and Elizabeth left, Violet told Gregory to wait there while she got something for them to do. Brook Lynn ordered mai tais, asking for one to be a double. It was obvious she intended to get her grandmother drunk. Dante wasn’t convinced Cody would shove the restraining order down Gladys’ throat the next time he saw her. Molly told Sam, Alexis and Jordan about the surrogate she and TJ found who was willing to start the process right away. The sushi was delivered. Gregory’s ALS made it hard to thread the beads Violet brought out. Finn and Elizabeth arrived at The Metro Court luau. Finn told Elizabeth she looked beautiful in the light of the firedancer. Tracy said the mai tai was quite refreshing. Brook Lynn went to get two more: One virgin (for herself) and a double (for Tracy). Molly said she and TJ were emotionally, physically and financially ready to be parents. Kristina told TJ her meeting with Dr. Randolph went well. She was surprised when TJ mentioned the sushi party. “If you’re sure you’re ready then I say bring on Baby Lansing-Davis Ashford” Jordan told Molly. The alcoholic mai tais were taking the desired effect on Tracy. Mac apologized to Felicia (Kristina Wagner) for arriving late to The Metro Court luau. He told her Gladys filed a restraining order against Cody. Finn told Elizabeth she made him happy. When Violet went to her room to get more clasps for the bracelets, Gregory stood up and then fell. After Alexis and Jordan left, Molly offered Sam some green tea. Dante realized Cody didn’t want to get arrested, he wanted to get committed. Finn assured Elizabeth she didn’t have to protect herself from him. When she found her grandfather on the floor, Gregory said he must have tripped on the beads. Violet asked whether she should call her daddy. Alexis and Jordan went for tea at The Bistro and expressed their concerns that TJ and Molly were rushing into things. Jordan asked about the missing Kristina. “Wasn’t she available?” Molly asked Sam to be their baby’s godmother. She said TJ was going to ask Curtis (Donnell Turner) to be the baby’s godfather. Sam opened the door to Kristina. Gregory assured Violet she cured what ails him. Cody continued to play crazy. Dante called the game Cody was playing stupid, adding it wouldn’t help Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Kristina asked Molly why she wasn’t invited. Mac commented on Felicia’s look like she was planning a scheme. A drunk Tracy wasn’t ready to leave yet. Finn came home. Gregory told him it gave him great piece of mind knowing his sons had love in their lives. Felicia told Mac she wanted to help out at the police station because she wanted to contribute in a meaningful way. Mac suggested the hospital. “You want to make a difference in our community, what better place than General Hospital,” Mac suggested. Tracy and Brook Lynn sat down with Mac and Felicia. A drunk Tracy suggested Felicia get the fire eater over there to warm up chilly willy (Mac). Brook Lynn took Tracy away. Dante told Cody to stay far away from Sasha as possible or there would be consequences. He told Cody he was free to go. Jordan commented it was wonderful Molly and Kristina were so close. Kristina asked to have a moment alone with Molly. After Sam left, Kristina asked Molly “How could you?” Violet told Finn that Gregory fell and it scared her. Finn left Violet’s bedroom and asked his father why he fell. At first Gregory said he was just clumsy but then admitted “It’s something else. Something awful.”

Friday

Carly (Laura Wright) was surprised when Sonny (Maurice Benard) arrived at her house especially since Donna’s been asleep for a while. “You must want a favor,” Carly said. Eddie (Wally Kurth) walked into the kitchen to find Tracy (Jane Eliott) nursing a hangover. Kristina (Kate Mansi) confronted Molly (Brooke Anne Smith) about not being invited to the sushi party. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) received a call that Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) car never went into the ELQ parking lot the night Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) town house built down. “Why are you lying to Anna?” he wondered. Anna and Valentin arrived at a room at The Metro Court. Although Anna’s stayed at plenty of hotels, she commented “I always had a home to go back to…now I don’t.” Finn (Michael Easton) asked Gregory (Greory Harrison) why he fell. At first Gregory said he was just clumsy but then admitted “It’s something else. Something awful.” “Are you sick?” Finn asked “Have you been diagnosed? Maybe I’ll be able to help if you tell me what it is.” Tearfully, Gregory answered “ALS.” Eddie laughed that Tracy was drunk as a skunk. Anna told Valentin she had to move on because she’s been through alot worse and no one was hurt. Valentin assured they’d get through this together. “Do you trust me?” Valentin asked Anna. Sonny told Carly he didn’t need a favor but was in a position to do her a favor. Sam (Kelly Monaco) did rock, paper, scissors to decide who’d tell about their day first. Sam lost and told Dante “Molly and Kristina they’re headed for World War Three.” Molly admitted to Kristina she wasn’t invited because she didn’t want her to ruin it when she told the family that she and TJ (Taj Bellows) found a surrogate. Finn was surprised that his father was diagnosed with ALS six months ago. “Why didn’t you tell me?” Finn asked Gregory. Anna and Valentin drank a toast to their future together. Valentin told Anna he wanted to buy season tickets for the ballet in NY and wanted to take her and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). When Martin (Michael E. Knight) arrived and Valentin assured Anna he’d handle the busy quickly. Tracy told Ned his daughter was the one who got her drunk. Gregory said he didn’t tell him because Finn knew what the disease did. “I’m dying,” Gregory said. Carly assured Sonny she was fine and would take care of herself on her own. “So whatever your favor is, I’m fine.” Sam asked Dante whether he thought Molly did the right thing by not telling Kristina. “Why are you paying a stranger to have your baby when I was willing to do it?” Kristina asked Molly. Gregory told Finn how getting to know him and spending time with him has been a gift. Eddie told Tracy he overheard her telling Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) she wanted to have him committed. Sonny told Carly he may be able to do something better than getting a message to Drew (Cameron Mathison). Gregory told Finn about how he fell and Violet (Jophelle Love) found him. “Molly, if you have a stranger as your surrogate you’re not even going to be related to the baby,” Kristina said. Dante told Sam she should let Molly and Kristina work out their own problems. Dante told Sam about what happened with Cody (Josh Kelly) at the PDPD. Dante called Anna and told her that Valentin’s car never entered the ELQ parking lot and that there was no water main break. After hanging up the phone, Anna found papers Martin brought over for Valentin with the Pikeman logo. Ned told Tracy he was Eddie Maine and there was nothing he could do about it. Tracy said he may be Eddie Maine but she’s Ned Quartermaine’s mother and would never stop fighting for her son. Gregory apologized for putting Violet in danger. Gregory admitted that Alexis (Nancy Grahan) knew about his diagnosis but he couldn’t bring himself to tell him because he didn’t want to see the look on his face that he was seeing now. Sonny told Carly he had a contact that could arrange for Drew to get out of solitary early. He told Carly there were no strings attached…it wasn’t a gift for Drew, it was a gift for her. Dante told Sam that Valentin was being dishonest with Anna. He said he wanted to know what Valentin had going on. “Because his daughter is in the room down the hall.” Valentin got into bed beside Anna. “You lied to me,” she said. Finn told Gregory he would be beside his side from now on. Gregory asked Finn to help him tell his brother because he knows this would crush him. When Eddie made a comment about why he was at the Quartermaine mansion and not at Sonny’s, Tracy smiled that Ned was still in there.
