A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“Being with you here or anywhere it’s just perfect” Carly (Laura Wright) told Drew (Cameron Mathison) when he asked whether being at The Metro Court made her uncomfortable because she used to be a co-owner. Finn (Michael Easton) met Gregory (Gregory Harrison) at The Metro Court. Finn welcomed Tracy (Jane Eliott) home and introduced her to his father. Tracy said she was meeting someone as Chase (Josh Swickward) got off the elevator. Selina (Lydia Look) met Gladys (Bonnie Burrough) at The Savoy and asked whether she was there about her debt. Sasha (Sofia Mattesson) asked Cody (Josh Kelly) why he was still keeping things from her. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Michael (Chad Duell) how Dex (Evan Hofer) told her he was leaving town because of him (Michael). Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) how Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) asked her to make peace with Carly, which was something she couldn’t give her daughter. Sasha told Cody how she heard he was at the studio when she was filming her Home & Heart segment and threatened to streak. When she saw Drew and Carly sitting at the bar, Tracy exchanged a sarcastic comment then went to her table. “Is she always like that?” Chase asked. “Pretty much” Carly answered. Josslyn told Michael he put Dex in an impossible position when he changed his mind. When he learned Dex was staying in Port Charles because of her, Michael asked “How could you do that to him?” Nina thanked Sonny for always being on her side. Cody told Sasha how he couldn’t stand for someone trying to hurt her so that’s why he threatened to streak. Sasha couldn’t believe Cody did that for her after she told him she couldn’t trust him the last time they saw each other. Gladys told Selina about Sonny paying one of his guys a thick envelope of crash. Selina said she’d knock 5k off Gladys’ debt but reminded she still owed her 80k. Gregory told Finn he brought plane tickets for a family vacation to Disney World, calling it the trip of a lifetime as Violet (Jophelle Love) wanted to have a conversation with the Disney Princesses. Drew told Carly maybe she should testify against him. Josslyn said Michael didn’t see Dex as a real person and didn’t care about his feelings. Sonny told Nina how Michael wanted to make peace between them but it came with a condition. “Thank you for what you did for me” Sasha said, asking whether he ever was going to tell her. Cody said probably not. He said he understood she was defending her mother-in-law and admired it if Gladys hadn’t framed him for stealing that necklace. Finn told Gregory he couldn’t get time off on such short notice to take the trip next week. He asked why not. Tracy told Chase to either forgive her granddaughter or cut her loose to find someone who was worthy of the air she breathed. Since they had no intention of turning on eachother, Drew said they needed to find the person who turned them into the SEC. Nina asked Sonny whether he was sure he could trust Michael. “The only way to save this is for you to do what you were supposed to do and turn Sonny in ” Josslyn told Michael. “Why go now? Because memories are all we have and I want to make as many as I have while I still have the chance” Gregory told Finn. But Tracy berating Chase loudly caught Finn and Gregory’s attention. But Finn had to leave when he got a call from the hospital. “Is there a problem?” Gregory asked when he came over to Chase and Tracy’s table. Michael explained how he showed Willow the Pikeman evidence after the wedding. Josslyn said in agreeing to Willow’s terms he held Dex out to dry. Nina told Sonny if he accepted Michael’s conditions she’d be the one left out. Drew told Carly they needed to find leverage against Ned (Wally Kurth). Sasha told Cody if he was willing she’d like them to become friends. “I don’t think that’s possible,” Cody told Sasha. Selina told Gladys she was going to Singapore to visit her mother but expected payment in full – including twenty percent per week interest -when she returned. Gregory told Tracy he was the father of the man she was reading the riot act to, adding she didn’t know anything about his son and she was a snob. Nina told Sonny she was happy for him his relationship with his son was improving. Michael said Josslyn was young and going to be a doctor someday and may not end up with Dex. Cody told Sasha he hoped she saw he was telling the truth about Gladys. Sasha called Gladys and told her she set up a meeting with her lawyer to take back her guardianship. Selina told her henchman that if Gladys couldn’t pay her back her cousin Sonny would want to clear his cousin’s debt. Drew and Carly decided to get dirt on Tracy and bring it to Ned. Tracy vows to Finn she’s going to make Brook Lynn see Chase for who he is. Josslyn told Michael she’s going to get Dex out of this. Sonny wouldn’t let Nina feel like an outsider. “Will you marry me? he asked.

Tuesday

At Volonino’s Gym, Dex (Evan Hofer) told Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) he was glad he safely returned from Greenland. Trina (Tabyana Ali) overheard Spencer telling Dex he didn’t trust him. Chase (Josh Swickward) asked Finn (Michael Easton) whether he thought Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) thought he was judgemental. Ned (Wally Kurth) called a contact to find out who tipped off the SEC. Carly (Laura Wright) ran into Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) at The Metro Court. “You’ll never be out of the cold because you’ll always be a part of my life” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) he would spend the rest of his life proving to her she wasn’t one the outside. Then, he asked her to marry him. “What do you say?” Sonny asked. Trina told Dex she was glad he was there for Josslyn (Eden McCoy). Dex left to hit the showers. Trina said Spencer was being a jerk and should treat Dex better since he was dating Joss. But Spencer said it wouldn’t last since Joss now hated his Uncle Sonny and all he stood for so dating his employee would be a non-starter. Chase was having second thoughts about ending things with Brook Lynn. Carly assured Olivia she didn’t hate her…but her husband was a different story. When Tracy (Jane Eliott) entered, Brook Lynn drew a revenge diagram commenting the person who tipped off the SEC may be someone who was targeting one or the other but not both. After Ned left the room, a comment her granny said made Brook Lynn ask what Tracy had done. Nina told Sonny she didn’t want a pity proposal. “Be honest with me, have you thought of proposing to me before tonight?” Nina asked. “As a matter of fact, yes” Sonny answered, pulling out an engagement ring. “Now do you believe me?” Sonny asked. He explained he’d been carrying around the ring for days but didn’t feel it was the right time because she was worried about Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). “So do you want to rethink your answer?” Sonny asked. Dex was in the steam room when Josslyn entered. Trina reminded Spencer the heart wants what it wants. Josslyn appeared and welcomed them home. She mentioned she had an argument with Michael (Chad Duell). After Spencer left, Trina asked Josslyn why she argued with Michael. Tracy told Brook Lynn about her conversation with Chase and said her granddaughter deserved better. Chase decided to fix things with Brook Lynn. Carly asked Olivia whether Ned was staying at The Metro Court after she kicked him out. “You did kick him out didn’t you?” Carly asked. Josslyn told Trina that Michael was being a condensing ass who acted like she’d forget Dex the minute he left town. “Is Dex going somewhere?” Trina asked. Dex woke up from his fantasy of Josslyn being in the steam room. He looked up to see Spencer standing there. Although she didn’t like what Ned had done, Olivia told Carly she worked too hard on her marriage to throw it away because Ned told the truth. Brook Lynn was touched when Finn appeared on the terrace playing her song and Chase serenaded her. Sonny told Nina she helped change him for the better and wanted her to be his partner for life. “Because I can’t imagine my life without you. Nina Reeves, will you marry me?” Spencer told Dex he knew Josslyn better than he ever would. Dex said Spencer may know Joss as a kid but doesn’t know her now. Olivia told Carly she wouldn’t like Ned’s business tactics to ruin her marriage. “I can’t believe you got roped into that ridiculous display” Tracy told Finn. “What can I say, he’s family.” Chase told Brook Lynn he was trying to get back the best thing that’s ever happened to him. Nina told Sonny she would have fallen apart these last months if it weren’t for him. Then, Nina accepted his marriage proposal. Spencer told Dex he had no future with Joss because she was going places while he was a muscle for hire for her ex-stepfather who she hated. Sonny slipped the engagement ring on Nina’s finger. Chase told Brook Lynn he had a lot to make up for her and missed her. “I’ve been so unfair to you,” Chase said. Brook Lynn apologized for delaying writing the letter and said she’d try to be a better person. Olivia was annoyed when she wanted to get on the elevator but found Nina and Sonny kissing. She asked whether they’d planned to get off anytime soon. Nina and Sonny stepped off the elevator and Olivia got on. Sonny said to forget Olivia and her mood. Nina and Sonny continued kissing. Tracy told Finn her talk was designed for Chase to do something like he did. Dex came out of the steam room and left with Josslyn. When Spencer came out and she saw the mark on his face, Trina was angry and wanted to text Joss that Dex hit Spencer. But then she learned Spencer threw the first punch and Dex was just defending himself and tried to stop the fight. Spencer insisted he’s tried to be nice to Dex. Carly overheard Nina thanking Trish for bringing champagne and told her they were celebrating because they were getting married.

Wednesday

Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) came over to Carly’s (Laura Wright) to discuss her case with the SEC. Carly told her Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) they were engaged. Nina told Sonny she was obsessed with her ring. “You’re all mine,” Nina said. Sam (Kelly Monaco) came over to talk with her mother about her sister. When Alexis (Nancy Grahan) said she was worried about Molly (Haley Puollos) too, Sam asked “What’s wrong with Molly?” Sam asked. Molly told TJ (Taj Bellows) she didn’t need to take the day off because she wasn’t sick or pregnant. “And I never will be,” Molly said, resigned to her fate. Drew (Cameron Mathison) entered Volonino’s Gym where Curtis (Donnell Turner) was lifting weights and thinking about his talk with Jordan (Tanisha Harper). Meanwhile at GH, Portia (Brooke Kerr) approached Jordan and said “I need to talk with you.” Alexis told Sam that Molly would tell her what’s going on when the time was right. Sam wanted to talk about Kristina (Now being played by Alex Manzo) and what she was getting into with her foundation. Kristina entered and announced “I’m about to change Port Charles.” TJ asked Molly why she hadn’t told him about the severity of her symptoms. Portia thanked Jordan for all she’s done to help Trina (Tabyana Ali). Nina reminded Sonny a lot of people won’t be happy they’re engaged. Ava (Maura West) brought Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) to spend the day. Avery noticed Nina’s ring and said it was like the one her mother used to wear. Carly said she wished Sonny was with anyone but Nina. Molly admitted to TJ she kept her discomfort from him and learned to live with it. She said she already felt guilty. Kristina showed Sam and Alexis some plans for the center. Drew and Curtis talked about the SEC and getting dirt on Tracy (Jane Elliott) for leverage. Curtis told Drew he’s been reevaluating his decisions and wondered whether he was premature in ending his marriage to Carly. After learning Nina agreed to marry Sonny, Avery thought it was awesome and asked whether she could be a flower girl. After Avery went into her bedroom to get on her tablet, Nina commented that Ava’s been quiet and asked whether she was going to congratulate them. Carly refused to throw Drew under the bus to save herself by saying. Diane told her there’s another way. She could make a deal with the SEC by giving up Sonny. Carly told Diane she would never give up Sonny. Diane told Carly she had no other options. When Ava reminded Sonny their daughter would tell everyone about the engagement, he left to tell Carly so she’d hear it from him. Nina wanted to know what Ava was really thinking. Sam told Kristina she never followed through on things. Molly told TJ she felt she was letting him down by not giving him the gift women have been giving for centuries. Then, she left for work. Drew urged Curtis to talk with Portia before giving up on his marriage. Portia asked Jordan’s advice on what she should do to save her marriage. “Look Drew, Portia’s the one that lied to me I don’t owe her anything” Curtis said. Drew reminded Curtis he hadn’t given Portia a chance. And his love for her affects his capacity to forgive. Jordan urges Portia to focus on forgiving herself and Trina will come around. Kristina was angry with Sam. She stopped talking to take a call from the contractor. Sam told Alexis that Kristina is an adult and had to understand what she was actually getting herself into. Diane told Carly she was in a poor position with the two paths that could get her out of it. Carly told Diane at the end of the day she was responsible for her own actions. “If Sonny finds out that you turned Carly in, it is over forever.” Ava told Nina. TJ left a voicemail for Molly apologizing for making her feel alone in this. Sam said with this boost of confidence maybe Kristina could pull it off. Jordan told Portia she wasn’t the person she thought she was.”I only have one choice, it’s time for the gloves to come off” Nina told Ava. Sonny arrived at Carly’s.

Thursday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) offered to take Donna out for something else when Carly (Laura Wright) breakfast was something in a box. Carly told Sonny she was at The Metro Court last night and knows he’s getting married. “I guess congratulations are in order.” Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Ava (Maura West) she had to make sure Carly went to prison for a long time. TJ (Taj Bellows) was surprised when Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) arrived. Molly (Temporarily being played by Holiday Mia Kriegel) came to her mother’s house and rushed into Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) arms. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) told Portia (Brooke Kerr) she didn’t deserve her praise after what she’s done. “What did you do?” Portia asked. Curtis (Donnell Turner) asked Jordan not to tell Portia about their kiss. Anna (Finola Hughes) appeared. After Curtis left to talk with Portia, Anna and Jordan talked. She told Anna about kissing Curtis. Molly told Sam (Kelly Monaco), Alexis and Kristina (Kate Mansi) she was diagnosed with endometriosis and won’t be able to conceive. Kristina tried to offer words of support but only ending up upsetting Molly. Stella told TJ the only thing they could do was leave it in God’s hands. Nina told Ava it wasn’t revenge to want Carly out of the way so she could build a relationship with Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). Sonny told Carly the SEC may be targeting her because of his recent business associates. The Feds may want to make things difficult for him to get to his business associates. Nonetheless, Sonny recommended Carly turn on him to get her out of her legal predicament. But Carly told Sonny it was a hard no she’d turn on him. She told him another option was turning on Drew (Cameron Mathison). Sonny told Carly going to prison, even a minimum security one wasn’t an option. Sam told Kristina what Molly’s going through she won’t be the sensible Molly they knew. Molly told Alexis even though she hadn’t considered having children before but now it felt like a loss. Nina told Ava her plan is to convince Drew that Carly would turn on him so he’d turn on her first. Portia asked TJ whether there was a chance Curtis and Portia would reunite. Curtis told Portia he wasn’t ready to give up on their marriage so he wanted to move back in. But he would be staying in the guest room. Portia accepted that saying she’d do anything to get their family back. Jordan told Anna she only had two options: Being the woman who went after what she wanted. Or the woman who destroyed another’s woman’s happiness to get what she wants. Molly returned inside the house where her sisters told her she had their love and support. Nina said there may be someone Drew trusts who will convince him Carly was going to turn on him. When she returned to the kitchen, Carly told Donna they needed to talk about something.

Friday

Drew (Cameron Mathison) called Carly (Laura Wright) and told her although he wanted to be at GH to support Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen), he’s sticking around theQuartermaine mansion to get dirt on Tracy (Jane Eliott). Nina (Cynthia Watros) was annoyed because GH wouldn’t give her any information regarding Willow’s bone marrow procedure. When Diane (Carolyn Henessy) arrived to meet with Sonny, Nina asked whether she could sue the hospital for failing to give her information about her daughter’s condition. Diane’s last advice was for Nina to just ask Willow. Nina told Diane that Sonny was with Carly because he had some news to deliver. Diane said she heard, looked at Nina’s ring and congratulated the jeweler. Anna (Finola Hughes) met with Robert (Tristan Rogers) at The Metro Court. She told him Holly (Emma Samms) has gone radio silent and she was worried something may have happened to her. Robert said that may be his fault. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) entered the kitchen. When she saw Sonny, Josslyn asked annoyedly, “What’s he doing here?” Ned (Wally Kurth) continued to insist to Drew he didn’t rat him out to the SEC. TJ (Taj Bellows) assured Willow the transplant wouldn’t hurt and would be like a blood transfusion. Michael (Chad Duell) brought Amelia and Wiley to see Willow. She told them she loved them and would do everything she could to get back to them. Josslyn told Carly she asked Sonny for a favor and he said no. After Sonny left, Carly told Josslyn that Sonny and Nina were engaged. Josslyn told Carly she asked Sonny to fire Dex (Evan Hofer). Nina told Diane she hoped since she’s marrying Sonny they (Nina and Diane) could put their differences behind them. When Nina asked why there wasn’t someone special in her life, Diane reminded that they weren’t friends so she didn’t have a right to ask about her personal life. Robert told Anna he and Holly said their goodbyes. Ned was surprised when Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told him she’s returned back to work at Deception. He asked Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) why his own wife didn’t believe him. Sonny returned home. He told Diane that Nina could stay for their meeting. Sonny told Nina how Carly will be offered a deal to turn him in. Nina worried Carly would do so if she were given the choice between him and her kids. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was at GH to support Willow, who asked what mother she’d call out for when dying. Sasha encouraged Willow to focus on living. Anna told Robert that Holly may have done him a favor by bowing out so now he could focus on Diane. Sonny suggested Diane get information from Robert Scorpio and the SEC’s case. Nina joined Olivia at The Metro Court bar. Olivia saw Nina’s engagement ring and offered reluctant congratulations. Nina told Olivia the SEC plans to use Carly against Sonny. Robert smiled when Diane arrived at The Metro Court. Josslyn and Michael were polite and cordial with each other saying Willow was the other thing that mattered. Then, they talked with Willow outside her hospital room. TJ told Willow to relax and let the good bone marrow do its work. Willow thought about her life with Michael, Wiley and Amelia and hoped for a future with them.
