A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Jake (Hudson West) arrived at GH and told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) he had to talk with her about Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Meanwhile, Charlotte was having a nightmare where Anna (Finola Hughes) told her Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) didn’t have time for her. “He’s all mine now” dream Anna said. “I want papa!” Charlotte shouted waking up from her dream to find Nina (Cynthia Watros) sitting there. “Charlotte, you had a bad dream. It’s just a bad dream” Nina assured. “Anna, wait” Portia (Brooke Kerr) said when she ran into Ms. Devane at GH. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) entered Charlie’s and apologized to Blaze (Jacqueline Lopez) for being late. She told her she decided to return to music management and wanted to sign her as her first client. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) enteres Charlie’s and told Kristina (Kate Mansi) she had a message from Molly (Brooke Anne Smith). Molly arrived at GH and asked “Do you know where I can find Dr. Ashford?” She found TJ (Taj Bellows) with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and announced “I have news to share.” Dex (Evan Hofer) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) Drew (Cameron Mathison) was beaten up and taken to GH. When she saw Carly (Laura Wright) walk off the elevator, Elizabeth told Jake to wait for her then they’d talk. Elizabeth told Carly how Drew hadn’t woken up since the beating. “Tell me he’s going to be alright” Carly pleaded. Elizabeth assured Carly the doctor would talk with her because Dre put her down as his emergency contact. When Valentin entered, Nina told him Charlotte had a bad dream. “Since you dumped that sleaze Linc the public hasn’t heard much from you. We’re going to change that” Brook Lynn told Blaze. Alexis told Kristina that Andrea (Lily Anne Harrison) was pregnant. Molly announced to TJ and Curtis that Andrea was pregnant. Dex and Sonny left for GH. Portia told Anna she was unfair and she didn’t deserve all her anger. Carly asked Elizabeth what she was going to tell Jake. Liz said she didn’t know yet. She came back to her son and Jake told her “I was with Charlotte last night.” Valentin told Charlotte he had something planned that would make her forget her bad dream. When Charlotte left to get a jacket, Valentin told Nina he had something planned that would help. Portia apologized for her words. Blaze accepted and said Brook Lynn could sign her. Kristina told Alexis it hurt a little to hear Andrea’s pregnancy news second hand. Jake apologized for not telling Elizabeth he was with Charlotte. Dex and Sonny got off the elevator. While Dex was making a call for Sonny, Carly saw her ex-husband and said “You promised to protect him.” Carly reminded Drew was attacked for getting information for them. Jake told Elizbaeth he liked everything about Charlotte adding plus she liked him. Charlotte asked about the house Valentin brought her to. After Portia walked away, Anna thought about her recent conversation with Valentin. Blaze told Brook Lynn it was priceless seeing her put Linc in his place. Sonny assured Carly that Drew would be okay and as soon as he got better, Diane (Carolyn Henessy) would do everything in her power to get him released from Pentonville. “But will he be alive to get released?” Carly asked. Blaze showed Brook Lynn the article about her being booted from Deception. Kristina couldn’t believe Molly didn’t want to tell her about the pregnancy herself. TJ asked Molly to just tell the family about the pregnancy. Dex told Nina that Sonny had to come to GH because Drew Cain was there “He was beaten up pretty badly in Pentonville.”Charlotte was elated when Valentin told her he already brought the house. Sonny told Dex there were a lot of people at Pentonville who wanted to send him a message. When she saw Sonny in the distance, Portia wheeled Curtis away before he could approach. Alexis told Kristina when TJ and Molly were ready they’d reach out. Elizabeth told Jake about Drew. Carly left a message for Ava (Maura West) demanding she get to the tenth floor nurses station right away. When Nina got off the elevator she asked what she was doing there. Elizabeth told Carly that Drew was being taken for emergency surgery. Kristina got an idea for a fundraiser for her foundation. Brook Lynn told Blaze about Lois (Rena Sofer). The doctor told Carly how Drew broke one of his ribs that was pressing on the aorta and any slight movement might have been fatal, adding they wouldn’t know anything until after the surgery. Sonny ran into Anna at the hospital chapel and told him he was beginning to wonder whether the life he chose was worth it. Charlotte remembered while at school receiving a package with the tarot cards. “Charlotte, everything alright?” Valentin asked. “Everything’s going to be perfect,” Charlotte answered.

Tuesday

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) called for an update on Drew (Cameron Mathison) for Carly (Laura Wright). Finn (Michael Easton) asked Jake (Hudson West) to come with him. Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) told Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) she knew Anna (Finola Hughes) hadn’t helped him decorate. Cody (Josh Kelly) entered the PCPD and announced he was turning himself in. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) asked Sam (Kelly Monaco) what if this didn’t work and Cody spends the rest of his life in prison. Sonny (Maurice Benard) blamed himself for Drew fighting for his life because of him. Ava (Maura West) asked Nina (Cynthia Watros) why Carly wanted her there. Nina answered that Drew was beaten up in Pentonville. “Hey Ava…did you tell Carly I was the one who put him there?” Nina asked. Sam encouraged Sasha to keep the faith…they would prove Dr. Montague was drugging her. But Sam said the first step was establishing a legal record. Chase (Josh Swickward) arrested Cody. Charlotte said the decorating wasn’t Anna’s style and commented that it was more comfortable than Wyndemere. Charlotte went to see her new room. Sonny told Anna about Drew’s beating. Anna commented how someone defied Sonny’s order that Drew was under his protection. Carly approached Ava and told her about Drew’s beating saying Ava wasn’t really surprised. “Cut the act Ava…I know exactly what you did.” After Chase returned from booking Cody, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Cody went into the interrogation room. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) entered the PCPD and asked Chase about having Sasha’s kidnapper in custody. “He’s putting everything on the line for me…what kind of person does that?” Sasha asked Sam. Finn got an update on Drew for Jake. Finn told Jake there’s no shame in crying when you get bad news about someone you cared about. Sonny told Anna no one would have defied his orders five years ago…he felt like things were out of control and he used to be able to keep things under control. Anna and Sonny agreed they wouldn’t throw in the towel. Ava denied Carly’s accusation that she told Austin (Roger Howarth) how Drew was asking around Pentonville to find out who Dr. Gatlin-Holt was visiting. Carly said Drew shouldn’t even be in Pentonville. “I’m not the one who put him there” Ava said. Valentin told Charlotte maybe Anna would move in because she needed a place to live after her house burned down. Finn assured Jake he wasn’t leaving. Sam told Sasha at first she wasn’t sure she could trust Cody but now she does. Gladys demanded to see Cody Bell. Carly asked Ava what Austin had on her. Sonny heard the confrontation when he stepped off the elevator. “Carly, what are you doing?” he asked. Sam told Sasha she didn’t see it as taking a risk…she was just trying to do the right thing. Cody was angry when he heard Gladys’ performance that she was worried about Sasha. Sam pretended to be Ms. Vargas from Port Charles Savings and Loan calling about the accounts of Sasha Gilmore. Sonny told Carly he knew for a fact Ava didn’t tell Austin how Drew was asking around Pentonville about who Dr. Gatlin-Holt came to see. “What else don’t I know about you?” Anna wondered as she thought about her conversations with Dante about Valentin. Charlotte thought about reading the note that came with the tarot cards and how it said Anna wasn’t who she appeared to be and she shouldn’t trust her. Gladys panicked when “Ms. Vargas” told her about receiving a subpoena from the DA’s office to turn on Ms. Gilmore’s bank records. Charlotte told Valentin she needed to know for the reading if Anna moving in would make him happy. Then, she pulled out the tarot cards from her backpack. Finn talked with Anna outside the GH chapel. Jake and Elizabeth prayed for Drew’s recovery in the chapel. Carly asked Sonny whether she could be alone. But Sonny came back over to her after seeing Carly’s reaction when the doctor gave her news about the surgery. Ava and Nina came over. Sonny shared with them the news that Drew made it through surgery and would make a full recovery. Carly apologized for attacking Ava. After Ava and Nina walked away, Carly asked to talk with Sonny alone. Elizabeth and Finn received texts about Drew’s successful surgery. Carly thanked Sonny for being there. Charlotte lied she got the tarot cards from a girl at camp. A flashback revealed Victor (Charles Shaughnessy) sent her the cards and said they were very powerful. Dante told Chase it shouldn’t be too much longer with Cody. Gladys rushed to get her packed suitcase closed. There was a knock on the door. But instead of a rideshare driver, Gladys opened the door and was surprised to see Sasha.

Wednesday

Eddie (Wally Kurth) thanked Marshall (Robert Gossett) for inviting him to play at The Savoy. Olivia (Lisa LoCicerco) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) her hope that Eddie’s half written song would help him remember who he was. TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos) arrived at The Savoy and greeted Curtis (Donnell Turner), who told them he’s glad he got to celebrate with them. Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) thanked Brook Lynn for inviting her. “I wish Trina was here to see this, ” Portia (Brooke Kerr) told Curtis. Trina (Tabyana Ali) told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) it was Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) fault she was late. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) handed Spencer his tablet saying she figured he wanted it for his trip. Sam (Kelly Monaco) came to the PCPD to see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Chase (Josh Swickward) told her Dante was with a prisoner “Cody Bell.” But before Sam could shoot him a text, Chase told her he’d announce her. When he opened the interrogation room instead of finding Dante questioning Cody, Chase heard them talking about watching college football vs. pro football. “Dante, Sam’s here. How about I let her in and you can all tell me what’s going on” Chase suggested. Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) rushed to get her packed suitcase closed. There was a knock on the door. But instead of a rideshare driver, Gladys opened the door and was surprised to see Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). “Sasha…thank God” Gladys said, hugging her emotionless daughter-in-law. Dante told Chase they had reason to believe Gladys had been embezzling from Sasha. “What’s with the suitcase and all the clothes…are you going somewhere?” Sasha asked Gladys. Brook Lynn came backstage and told Eddie to break a leg. Michael (Chad Duell) was worried about Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) being at The Savoy. She assured Michael was okay. Kristina warned Michael if he wasn’t careful he’d turn out to be as Type A as Molly. Spencer wanted to go over everything one more time before he left. But Esme said “Spencer, you can’t leave.” Marshall told Curtis everyone was there to see him and not Eddie Maine because Curtis was The Savoy. Kristina came over and told TJ and Molly she was very happy for them that they were going to be parents. Chase thanked Cody for helping Sasha and figuring it all out. He added he’d help with whatever they needed. Cody told Chase his part was done…it was up to Sasha now. Gladys lied she was going to look for Sasha by checking out the Finger Lakes region where Cody was from, adding maybe Cody had an accomplice. “Cody didn’t have an accomplice…but you did,” Sasha said. Spencer called Trina and told her he couldn’t go because Ace’s daycare called saying Ace could have been exposed to chickenpox. Eddie and Olivia touched hands and shared a close moment after she handed him a dinosaur bandana Leo wanted him to have. Scott (Kin Shriner) arrived at the PCPD and told Dante “I’m here to see my client Cody Bell.” Cody told Sam he was worried that Gladys may be able to manipulate Sasha. But he didn’t have to worry because Sasha held her own. She confronts Gladys on everything she’s done. “And you know what the worst part is, Gladys? I actually thought you loved me” Sasha said asking how she could have betrayed her at the lowest point in her life. Olivia told Brook Lynn how she felt guilty because she almost cheated on her husband. “With your husband you mean?” Brook Lynn asked. Willow and Michael noticed Tracy (Jane Eliott) at The Savoy. Blaze ran into Kristina and since they were both third wheels, decided to stick together. Marshall took to the stage and introduced Eddie Maine. He took to the stage and asked “Are you ready for Eddie?” and began playing the guitar. Josslyn told Trina she didn’t always have to make the best of everything as it was okay to be disappointed. As Spencer started to go upstairs to take his bag, Esme said “Spencer wait” because she got a text from the daycare. Dante showed Scott into the interrogation room and suggested Cody speak with his attorney. Sasha told Gladys how she and Cody found a bottle of pills in Dr. Montague’s jacket and believed she was going to kill her and make it look like an OD. Gladys insisted she never wanted Dr. Montague to hurt her. Tracy ordered Michael to get her another drink when he commented about her being there to support Eddie. Marshall told Eddie to play the new song. But Eddie said it wasn’t ready yet and instead played an Idle Rich classic. Tracy smiled as she watched her son. Spencer arrived at Trina’s dorm and told her the daycare texted back and said it was just poison ivy and Ace was never exposed to chickenpox so he booked them a later flight. Sam told Dante that Cody could handle Scott. She was more concerned about Sasha handling Gladys. Sasha told Gladys if she wanted to prove she was sorry she needed to confess. “Go to the police station and tell them everything you did. And testify against Dr. Montague so he can never do to anyone else what he did to me.”

Thursday

Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer arrive at their hotel room in New York. “I can’t believe we had to leave Port Charles and come all the way to NYC to spend some quality time together,” Trina said. Ava (Maura West) got splashed with a water pistol by Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna as they played cowboy and outlaws with Josslyn (Eden McCoy). “I hope you have some good news for me about Drew Cain” Cyrus (Jeff Kober) said when Mason came to visit him at Pentonville. Carly (Laura Wright) sat by Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) bedside and said she had to get him out of Pentonville. Dr. Montague arrived at the PCPD. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) showed him into the interrogation room to take his statement. “Get him Dante” Cody (Josh Kelly) said watching . Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) told Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) how Sonny (Maurice Benard) would literally kill her if she confessed to what she did. Sasha said Gladys could prove she loved her by confessing and helping her put Dr. Montague away for good.

Spencer left to run an errand. Trina called her mom and left a voicemail for Portia (Brooke Kerr) saying they arrived safe and sound. Avery and Donna went upstairs to watch for dinner. Josslyn told Ava that Drew made it through surgery and thanked Avery for everything she did for Trina. Cyrus asked Mason to tell him about his friend. Drew woke up and told Carly he was doing better now that she was there. The warden arrived at GH and told Jordan (Tanisha Harper) she wanted to see whether Mr. Cain could shed any light on the attack. Dr. Montague gave his statement to Dante about the events of the attack at Ferncliff. When Dante showed Dr. Montague the empty pill bottle and asked “Can you explain those?” Gladys agreed to go to the PCPD and tell the police what she did. Sasha told Gladys she had to stay there and not tell anyone she was there because it had to come from her. But once she got outside the door, Gladys pulled out her cellphone and made a call saying “I have information about an escape fugitive.” Dr. Montague lied the pills were Cody and he was Sasha’s dealer supplying her with the drugs while she was in Ferncliff. Sasha opened the door when there was a knock. Two cops entered and one said they were there to escort her back to Ferncliff. “Why Gladys?” Sasha asked as she was taken away. Carly told Drew he was attacked because he was getting information for Sonny. Trina made a video call to Josslyn and told her about the flight and showed her the hotel room. Trina told Josslyn she was ready for her first night with Spencer. Josslyn told Trina to call her back with every detail…well, not every detail. After she hung up the phone, Spencer returned and told Trina he picked up the tickets. Trina was excited to see The Big Four museums. Mac (John J. York) pulled Cody off Dr. Montague. Cody was shocked when Sasha was brought into the PCPD. When Jordan entered with the warden, Carly asked how the warden could have allowed this to happen. “What kind of prison are you running?” Carly angrily asked. Mason told Cyrus they had to worry about Betty. Josslyn thanked Ava for getting the delivery order and asked her to stay for dinner. Trina and Spencer had a romantic meal in their hotel room. Dante told Sasha she’d only have to be at Ferncliff until they sorted everything out. Cody urged Mac not to trust Gladys. Dr. Montague watched Gladys as she waited in the interrogation room for Mac to take her statement. Trina reminded Spencer they didn’t come all this way just to talk about Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). They drank a toast “To us.” Spencer went to take a shower. The warden assured Drew she’d work to find a way to get him out of Pentonville. Dr. Montague assured Gladys he’d take care of Sasha in Ferncliff. Sasha was brought into her room and put into restraints. Dante assured her they’d get her out of there. Spencer called Trina breathtaking and put on the necklace he bought for her. “I wanted you to have something permanent. That way you’d always be able to remember our weekend together.” Then, they kissed. “Okay…dinner awaits” Spencer said. “Let’s go to dinner,” Trina agreed. Cyrus told Mason that as Sonny accepted Betty too quickly, it had to be Ava. He ordered Mason to make sure Ava faced retribution. “Get it done!” Cyrus shouted. Ava told Josslyn that because she was Trina’s best friend she wanted to make sure she was taking care of herself because she’d need a clear head to navigate a relationship with someone in the best. Ava left and called Nina saying she found out Drew woke up. “So you won’t have his death on your conscience” Ava said. Carly laid her head on Drew’s chest as he slept. Mac assured Cody they’d get Sasha out of there. “We’re doing everything we can,” Mac said. Sasha looked fearful as she saw Dr. Montague outside her room at Ferncliff.

Friday

In New York City, Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) arrived at the restaurant for dinner. Trina raved about Moulin Rouge and how happy she was being in the city with a great guy. Nina had fallen asleep when Sonny (Maurice Benard) entered their bedroom. Drew (Cameron Mathison) dreamed about his beating. “Bad dream?” Willow asked. “Fortunately it’s not a dream…it’s my reality” Drew answered. Carly arrived at the Quartermaine gatehouse to see Michael (Chad Duell). She told her son that Judge Kin used Drew to help advance his career and needed his help to prove it. Ava (Maura West) returned home drenched and complained about Spoon Island being the only place where it was raining. She asked the butler Giles to fix her a dry martini. Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) met with banker Mr. Muller in Switzerland. Laura told him he could help her find her son. At GH, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Finn (Michael Easton) now that camp is over she wouldn’t be doing night shifts anymore. Nina told Sonny how Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) had been acting out. She added they needed to talk about his family. Willow told Drew she came because she wanted him to know she was thinking about him. Drew wanted to know how Wiley’s ball team was doing. Laura and Kevin explained although they’ve been searching for Nikolas (Adam Huss) for weeks, they’ve turned up nothing. She believed he was in Geneva because his money was there. Thunder spooked Giles and he spilled her martini on Ava. Before Giles left for home, he gave Ava an envelope from the real estate office. Looking at photos of Wyndemere, Ava commented she couldn’t wait to get off the island. “I love you Spencer Cassadine so very much,” Trina said. “I have some information on the judge and I’m going to use it”Carly told Michael. Drew asked Willow how things were going with Nina. Willow told Drew how Michael was stubborn and his opinion of Nina hasn’t changed. Nina told Sonny how Gladys owed a lot of money to Selina Woo (Lydia Look) and how Gladys was stealing money from Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). Ava thought about her last argument with Nikolas. Mr. Muller told Laura how there’s been several withdrawals from the separate accounts Nikolas held outside the Cassadine holdings. Spencer commented it took Trina long enough to say the words. He said he was the luckiest guy in the world and has loved Trina for so very long since the day he met her. We got a montage of Trina and Spencer moments. Nina told Sonny how Gladys did more than steal Sasha’s money. Willow told Drew she wouldn’t trade the Quartermaines for anything. Elizabeth joined Finn in the shower. Ava was scared when a figure in a hood walked into the room. Seeing the bank records of the large withdrawals, Laura was elated her son was alive. Trina and Spencer decided to skip dessert. Elizabeth and Finn kissed in the shower. Nina told Sonny the rest of what Gladys did and he said “Gladys will be dealt with.” After she left Drew’s room, Willow saw Harmony. Michael suggested they get the story of Judge Kim out. Carly told Michael that Alexis (Nancy Grahan) wouldn’t do the hit piece for her. But she knew someone she would do it for. Mason told Ava they’d be long gone before the cops got there. Trina and Spencer made love for the first time. Finn smiled after Elizabeth walked out of the shower. Michael told Carly he was able to cultivate a contact at the SEC and promised they’d find out who turned Drew in. Sonny told Nina the most important thing was getting married and not planning the wedding. Willow woke about from a nightmare where Harmony said she came to warn her. Spencer had no words. Kevin suggested they take the information back to the hotel for champagne because her son being alive was worth celebrating. Mason told Ava ratting them out wasn’t smart of her. Amy (Risa Dorken) commented when she noticed both Nurse Baldwin and Dr. Finn both had wet hair. Spencer told Trina he was most happiest when he was with her. Nikolas came to the bank to make another withdrawal and was told he just missed his mother. Mr. Mueller told Nikolas to be a good son and do the right thing. Wyndemere was empty. Carly came to visit Drew. Willow told Michael about the strangest dream she had about Harmony. “But it was only a dream,” Willow said. Sonny suggested they forget the wedding planning and elope. He wanted them to fly down to the island tomorrow and get married. “What do you say?” Sonny asked. “I say yes” Nina happily answered, throwing all the wedding planning papers up in the air.
