A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Geneva, Switzerland. Laura (Genie Francis) told Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) she was trying to narrow down where they should go to finish the search for Nikolas (Adam Huss). But Kevin told her it was obvious Nikolas didn’t want to be found. Martin (Michael E. Knight) came to Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) new house. “Okay, meter is running…what’s on your mind?” Martin asked. “Charlotte’s future depends on our conversation today,” Valentin said. Anna (Finola Hughes) thanked Sonny (Maurice Benard) for the extra layer of protection he provided with his security detail. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was told if she ever wanted to leave Ferncliff she’d have to do her part.” “Oh I plan to do just that” Sasha assured. “Just exactly do you think you’re doing breaking into my home?” Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) demanded to know when Sam (Kelly Monaco) used a lock pick to let herself in. “I guess you didn’t hear me knocking…or did you?” Sam said. Kevin reminded Laura that Nikolas hasn’t contacted anyone because he knew he was facing charges for breaking the law and from his responsibilities as a father. Laura told Kevin she could offer her son redemption. Dr. Montague told Nurse Janice (Laurie Swickward) that he’s removing himself from Sasha’s case because his treatment of her was compromised. Gladys threatened to call the cops on Sam and said she wasn’t welcome in her home. “But I’m not going anywhere, not until you exonerate Sasha” Sam told Gladys. Kevin told Laura it breaks his heart that Nikolas doesn’t value the love and attention she was showering on him. But Laura said she wasn’t giving up. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) asked Anna about the man lurking outside The Bistro. Anna answered the man was on Sonny’s payroll and was her bodyguard, adding desperate times call for desperate measures. “Meaning someone is trying to dismantle my life and drive me insane,” Anna told Jordan. Valentin told Martin about Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) breaking into Anna’s hotel room and possibly setting fire to her house. “I don’t think I can do this,” Sasha said. When she opened the door and ordered Sam to leave, Gladys was surprised to find Sonny on the other side. Laura blamed herself for leaving Nikolas to be raised by the Cassadines. She said deep down, there is a good man inside Nikolas and she believes he will find his way back. Laura told Kevin she wanted to look in London for Nikolas next. “I’m almost certain my daughter is responsible for Anna’s house fire,” Valentin said, telling Martin he needed him to help protect Charlotte from herself. Anna told Jordan she now believes Sonny was the target of the Metro Court shooting. Sasha refused to take her morning’s meds. Gladys told Sonny it wasn’t a good time. Sonny said in his book it was always time for family. Sam told Sonny she hadn’t been able to get through to Gladys, maybe he could do better. “What’s the problem Gladys?” Sonny asked. Laura thanked Kevin for putting his life on hold to be with her. “If I haven’t said it better, there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for you” Kevin said then left to finish packing. Laura called Jordan to check in with her deputy mayor. Gladys told Sonny that Sam was probably sleeping with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) which is why she was so desperate to do anything for him. Dr. Montague called Nurse Janice and lied he pulled up in his driveway at home and realized he left a patient file in the doctor’s lounge at Ferncliff. Nurse Janice offered to look for it. When she stepped away from the front desk, Dr. Montague entered. Valentin told Martin that Nina (Cynthia Watros) moved the video evidence from The Metro Court server. Valentin told Martin he needed him to be ready to defend his daughter in the event of an arson charge. Martin promised to step up on his knowledge of crimes committed by a juvenile. Martin told Valentin he was sorry he was going through something like this then left. Valentin called Laura, who told him they were going to fly to London next. He asked whether there was any chance she would stop in Port Charles first and told her it was about Charlotte. “I think your granddaughter is in some serious trouble.” Anna told Jordan it was about time she found out what secrets Valentin was keeping from her. Sonny quietly listened as Gladys painted Cody as a gold digger responsible for Sasha’s condition. “You’re right, what happened to Sasha was more than a tragedy. It’s down right criminal” Sonny said. “No” Sasha screamed when Dr. Montague entered her room at Ferncliff. Laura told Valentin she would take the first flight to Port Charles and would get there as soon as she possibly could. After he hung up, Anna entered. “So this is where you’ve been hiding” Anna said. Sam told Sonny how Gladys was hoping to get out of town before the truth about Sasha came out. Sonny told Gladys he already knew she stole Sasha’s money to repay her gambling debt to Selina Woo (Lydia Look). “I’m done with your lies. And I’m going to make sure that you don’t lie again” Sonny told Gladys. Sasha tried to fight off Dr. Montague. As he overpowered her and tried to inject her with the drug in the syringe he was holding, someone entered the room.

“So this is where you’ve been hiding out?” Anna asked. “I haven’t been hiding out. I’ve been trying to make a home for us” Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asked. “Papa, why is the door opened?” Charlotte asked when she entered, not happy to see Anna (Finola Hughes). At GH, Finn (Michael Easton) flushed out Chase’s (Josh Swickward) eyes after his brother was accidentally sprayed with pepper spray. Afterwards, Finn ran into Tracy (Jane Eliott) who told him she was reinstated back on the hospital board. Trina (Tabyana Ali) gushed about the private tour of the archives of The Met Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) arranged for her. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) found Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) bucket list in a file folder with an article he wanted her to read. “I know exactly what you did and now you’re going to pay for it” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs). Mac (John J. York) requested Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) being brought up from the holding cell and taken to the interrogation room. Cody burst into the room and demanded Dr. Montague drops the syringe and lets Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) go. “I’m walking out of here and I’m taking her with me” Dr. Montague said. Charlotte asked Valentin whether she could meet Jake (Hudson West) at the skateboard park. Once her father gave his permission, Charlotte left without saying goodbye to Anna. Valentin told Anna he owed her an apology. Trina and Spencer fell back into bed. Spencer told Trina he was crazy in love with her. Gregory returned to Alexis’ office asking whether she read his article. Finn and Tracy made a date to play backgammon for Thursday. Sonny confronted Gladys for her lies. Fearing the crazed doctor would stick her with the syringe, Cody reluctantly stepped aside to allow Dr. Montague to leave with Sasha. Fortunately, Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickward) arrived. Dr. Montague told Nurse Janice to make sure the security doors were opened so he and Sasha could leave, warning Sasha would die if he heard any alarms or if Cody tried to come after them. Cody nodded to Sasha who elbowed Dr. Montague. Cody fought Dr. Montague, knocking the syringe out of his hand. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) appeared, gun drawn. Sonny accused Gladys of not caring about Mike (Max Gail) or the family and only caring about herself and getting money. Trina told Spencer how the private tour of the archives helped her perspective of art. Gregory asked Alexis whether she wanted to help him knock another thing off his bucket list. Tracy approached Chase when she saw him and it looked as though he were crying. “Did something happen to Brook Lynn? Is it your father, did he fall down again?” Tracy asked. Chase told Tracy he was fine and just got hit with some pepper spray. “Ms. Quartermaine, tell me what’s going on?” Chase asked. Spencer told Trina she completed parts of him he never knew could be completed. Charlotte listened as Anna and Valentin talked about the house. Sonny told Gladys she used his dad like she used her son and Sasha. “But I’m gonna tell you right now, the days of you using anyone are over.” Mac arrived at Ferncliff. Dr. Montague tried to lie about what was happening when he was questioned. Fortunately, Nurse Janice corroborated Cody and Sasha’s story. Mac ordered the cop to cuff Dr. Montague and Dante to read the doctor his rights. “It’s finally over Sasha,” Cody said. Sasha thanked Cody with a hug, which Mac witnessed. Spencer told Trina being away from Port Charles made him see clearly how much he loved her. Trina asked whether they could eat in the room in bed. Dante told Mac how he and Cody followed Dr. Montague, arriving just in time. “Cody did good,” Dante said. Sasha told Cody she was afraid Dr. Montague would get away with it. Cody said both Dr. Montague and Gladys would pay. Finn appeared just in time to hear Tracy tell Chase “Your father has ALS.” Alexis told Gregory to pick something else besides skydiving. They ended up at an intense yoga class. Spencer went to get the food when their room service arrived. Valentin told Anna he should have asked what she wanted instead of riding in like her white knight. “You can’t blame me because all I ever wanted was a life with you,” Valentin told Anna. Charlotte thought about when she read Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) letter about Anna manipulating Valentin and how he needed Charlotte to be a strong Cassadine woman to save her father and the family. And also how he explained about the powerful tarot cards. Gregory told Alexis he’d hold off doing the rest of his bucket list until he told Chase. Chase was angry that Finn knew about their dad’s ALS and didn’t tell him. Sasha thanked Dante for he and Sam believing in him. Cody said Dr. Montague now was the one in Sasha’s place trapped and helpless. Sonny made Gladys confess to what she’d done. “Now you’re going to have to see what it’s going to cost you” Sonny said before calling his bodyguard Frank. “Good bye room…thank you” Trina said. Then, she and Spencer left their magical New York City weekend to return home to Port Charles. Valentin told Anna it wasn’t the right time for them to move in together. Gregory told Alexis he was starting Anna Karenina tonight. Finn told Tracy he should have been the one to tell Finn and handled things all wrong. Cody punched Dr. Montague in the stomach. Dante denied seeing anything. Mac asked the officer to get Dr. Montague ready to be transferred back to the station and booked. Nurse Janice apologized to Sasha. Dante told Cody and Sasha they could leave. Sonny told Gladys that Frank was going to take her back to her old life in Bridgeport. And if she tried to leave, told anyone they were related or put so much as a quarter in a slot machine, he’d know about it. Then Frank would take her on another ride which would be her last ride. He told Gladys not to take the luggage because Sasha paid for it and it wasn’t hers.

Friday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) came to see Michael (Chad Duell) at Aurora Media and said “I need a favor that only you can do for me.” Then, he came down to The Metro Court bar and met with Anna (Finola Hughes) to tell her he would be away for a few days. Sonny next visited Alexis (Nancy Grahan) at her office at The Invader and said “Put this paper to good use and save a man’s life.” Next stop: Charlie’s to see Kristina (Kate Mansi) who told him “Just tell me when and where and I’m there.” Sonny came to see Carly (Laura Wright) and told her “Nina and I are eloping.” Nina (Cynthia Watros) came to see Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to ask how things were going with Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Seeing his face, Nina asked “What’s wrong?” When Robert (Tristan Rogers) ran into her at The Metro Court, Anna told him that Valentin brought a house for them. Alexis told Gregory (Gregory Harrison) how Sonny wanted her to use The Invader as leverage against Judge Kim in order to help Drew (Cameron Mathison). Sonny told Carly he would love it if Donna could fly down to the island to come to his wedding. Nina told Valentin they would figure this out together. “Why is this happening…did I do something that made her act out?” Kristina was surprised when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told her he told Sonny he couldn’t come to his wedding. Kristina told Dante that Sonny asked Michael to come. Michael came to GH looking for Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). He thought about when Sonny told him and Willow to come to the wedding. Valentin told Nina he hadn’t told Anna what Charlotte did. Valentin wondered whether he was doing the wrong thing by not telling Anna. Carly told Sonny of course Donna could go and asked whether he called Ava (Maura West) to ask whether Avery could go, adding Ava hasn’t called him back. Sonny also told Carly he was working on that favor for Drew she asked him to do. Alexis assured what she was doing for Sonny was within legal means. When Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) arrived at Charlie’s, Kristina was surprised she and Dante already knew each other. Willow found Michael sitting in the waiting room and asked whether everything was okay. Nina telling Valentin they weren’t giving up on Charlotte. Then, Nina announced “I’m leaving town.” Sonny told Carly they had to do a deep dive into Judge Kim’s background. Alexis told Gregory he’ll tell Chase (Josh Swickward) when he is ready. Michael told Willow that Nina and Sonny were flying down to Puerto to elope and he invited them to come. “Papa, are you keeping things from me?” Charlotte asked when she returned home. Robert told Anna someone was toying with her and trying to break her. Nina suggested a girl’s trip and perhaps inviting Georgie. “I’d rather just go with you if Papa can’t come,” Charlotte said. Alexis speculated that Judge Kim was trying to get the attention of the higher ups. “Did you ever find out who Austin was visiting in Pentonville?” Carly asked Sonny. Alexis’ plan was to call Judge Kim in for an interview and then ask about Drew’s sentence. Sonny told Carly he never found out who Austin (Roger Howarth) was meeting. Carly and Sonny said they wanted each other to be happy. Anna told Robert she needed his help in getting information from inside the bureau. “Please, will you help me? Find out what’s going on and who is after me” Anna asked Robert. “We’re going to figure this out when I get back” Nina promised Valentin. Willow and Michael wondered whether they should attend the wedding. “Charlotte, what happened to you?” Nina asked herself while looking at a photo on her cell phone of Charlotte when she was little. Sonny called and told Nina she better get packing because they were getting married. “Yes we are,” Nina said with a smile.
