A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) leaves his office to see the woman there to see him. “Are you the broad who’s here to see me?” Sonny asked. Turning around, Lois said “Hello handsome.” Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) asked Eddie (Wally Kurth) whether he wanted to come with her when she went to meet Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) at Charlie’s. Tracy (Jane Eliott) appeared and told Brook Lynn to stop hiding from her and discuss her future. Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) were making salad and steaks for dinner. TJ (Taj Bellows) sat next to Austin (Roger Howarth) at the bar at Charlie’s and said they needed to talk about his cousin Mason. Laura (Genie Francis) came to the Jerome Gallery and greeted Ava (Maura West). She told Ava although she didn’t see Nikolas (Adam Huss) she may have found him. After checking on their children, Finn and Elizabeth had the whole night for themselves. Laura told Ava they had proof Nikolas had been making withdrawals at his bank in Geneva. Austin thanked TJ for stopping him from smothering Mason and throwing his life away. Brook Lynn refused to talk with her grandmother and left for her meeting with Blaze. Blaze and Kristina were talking at the bar at Charlie’s when Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) entered. Lois commented about Sonny’s elopement and how Carly (Laura Wright) must have loved that. “We’re just trying to get along for the family,” Sonny said. “How’s that working out for you?” Lois asked. While sharing a meal, Lois updated Sonny on happenings in the old neighborhood. Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) entered and told Tracy to stop badgering Eddie. Tracy wondered whether Olivia preferred Eddie. Kristina introduced Blaze to Sam and Sasha. Austin told TJ if he’d turn his cousin into the police it would have saved a lot of grief for everyone. Ava told Laura if Nikolas ever loved her he no longer did. Sonny asked Lois about what’s going on with Ned. Tracy accused Olivia of preferring an aging rocker. Sam, Cody (Josh Kelly), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sasha enjoyed drinks. Blaze interrupted Lucy (Lynn Herring) and Martin (Michael E. Knight) and told Lucy she had to decline the offer to be the new Face of Deception, suggesting she stick with the face she already had. After Laura left, Ava called Austin and demanded he come to her gallery now. Finn and Elizabeth kissed by the fire then began to make love. Sonny showed Losi pictures of his grandchildren. Ned thanked Olivia for accepting him for who he is. Olivia said although he is a kindhearted man, she’d never stop missing her husband. Lucy told Kevin she needed to show Tracy exactly who she was dealing with. When Austin arrived at the gallery, Ava told him “I just found out that Nikolas is very much alive.” Martin welcomed Laura home. Ava asked Austin whether he knew Nikolas was alive. TJ came to Mason’s hospital room and told him the reason he stopped Austin was because he wanted Mason to pay for his crimes by spending the rest of his life. Cody and Sasha offered to help Sam and Dante with the home improvements to their family room. Lois made pasta for Sonny. He told her he was happy she was back. Cody and Sasha told Sam and Dante they were motivated to help them because of all they did to help them take down Dr. Montague. Kristina witnessed Blaze sign her contract for Brook Lynn to be her manager. Then, Blaze and Brook Lynn drank a toast with beer. Lynn told Tracy she won…Sasha would remain the Face of Deception. But Lucy told Tracy that was the last decision she’d make. Laura and Martin speculated that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) was playing possum with the frail, old man act. Austin lied he had no idea Nikolas was alive. “Ava please, you have to believe me,” Austin said. “You know what scares me…I really want to believe you” Ava said. Finn and Elizabeth happily slept in each other’s arms.

Tuesday

Trina (Tabyana Ali) had a nightmare where Cyrus (Jeff Kober) takes her hostage at the Jerome Gallery. She screams for Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) to help her. But Cyrus tells him he needs a hostage and he can just replace her with Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). “I’m sorry, my uncle’s right” Spencer said in the dream then waved goodbye. Esme cuddled her son and told Ace he was the cutest card in the deck. There was a knock on the door. It was Cyrus. He told Esme they met in Pentonville. “I’m Laura’s brother Cyrus,” he said, introducing himself. Laura (Genie Francis) had coffee with Sonny (Maurice Benard) and said she wanted to talk about Spencer. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Carly (Laura Wright) she was thrilled she was having a Halloween party because then she didn’t have to go trick-or-treating with James. Anna (Finola Hughes) met with Felicia (Kristina Wagner) at Kelly’s. Felicia had an idea when Anna said she needed a place of her own. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) wouldn’t allow Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) to go trick-or-treating without an adult and said he was coming with her. Finn (Michael Easton) woke up to bed hair and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) painting. Cyrus told Esme he was there to see his sister. Spencer entered and asked what Cyrus was doing there. Even though Laura wasn’t there, Cyrus said he might as well stay to get to know his other great nephew and to catch up with Spencer. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) rushed to Trina. Adam (Joshua Benard) knocked on the door to see whether everything was okay because he heard Trina’s screams. Josslyn explained Trina had a nightmare. After Adam left, Josslyn told Trina to tell her about her dream. After Adam left, Josslyn told Trina to tell her about her dream. Laura asked Sonny to please help Spencer because he knew what it was like to be abandoned by a parent. Finn admired Elizabeth’s painting and suggested she get back into painting when they got back home. Elizabeth told Finn she wanted to paint to remember the beauty around them. Felicia suggested Anna sublet a furnished place in a secure building with lots of family. Felicia called Maxie over. “Papa, don’t you trust me?” Charlotte asked when Valentin told her he wasn’t changing his mind out going trick-or-treating. Anna thought it a good idea to sublet Maxie’s old furnished apartment. Trina told Josslyn that Cyrus didn’t threaten her, he apologized. Spencer suggested Esme go to work so Alexis (Nancy Grahan) won’t be angry. After she left, Spencer asked what Cyrus was doing there. Laura told Sonny he could get through to Spencer the way she and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) couldn’t as she was afraid Spencer would do something rash. Finn and Elizabeth picked apples for Aiden’s pies. Sonny told Laura she had a visitor and better get home. Cyrus assured Spencer he didn’t have any ulterior motives. Trina told Josslyn how Spencer didn’t help her in her dream. When he and Elizabeth returned back to the cabin with the apples, Finn suggested they take a nap. Valentin told Charlotte he wanted her to tell him the truth, not what he thought she wanted him to hear. Anna told Maxie and Felicia she’d sublet Maxie’s place because it was exactly what she needed. Trina came to Kelly’s and offered to help Carly setup for the Halloween party. Maxie gave Anna the keys. Anna told Maxie and Felicia the house felt like a new beginning. Charlotte agreed to see Kevin to talk about what was going on with her. So Valentin said she could go trick-or-treating with her friends alone. Cyrus assured Spencer that he was no longer the man he was because he’s seen the light. Cyrus reminded Spencer people gave him a second chance after he got out of prison. Laura entered and asked Spencer to give her a moment alone with her brother. Carly told Spencer that Trina volunteered his help to decorate Kelly’s because they needed someone tall. Josslyn suggested Adam come to Kelly’s to help her decorate. Anna called Sonny and told him she was returning his bodyguard Trey. Spencer told Trina he felt like the luckiest guy in the world because she loved him. Charlotte promised to meet with Kevin. Laura told Cyrus not to come over again unless she called and invited him. He gave her a card and said he would be waiting for her call but hoped it was soon. After Cyrus left, Valentin called and told Laura that Charlotte agreed to talk with Kevin. “I’m really worried about Charlotte. I think she really needs help” Valentin told Laura.

Wednesday

Dressed as Einstein for Halloween, Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda) plays an infinite challenge math game with Lois (Rena Sofer). Tracy (Jane Eliott) cornered Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Carly (Laura Wright) was surprised when Cyrus (Jeff Kover) entered Kelly’s. Lucy (Lynn Herring) told Ava (Maura Wright) they had to act fast if she wanted to unload Wyndermere and Spoon Island before the prospect client changed his mind. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) interrupted Scott (Kin Shriner) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) negotiating a case. Anna (Finola Hughes) came to Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) house. He told her what she smelled was Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) in the kitchen bakery. ‘Anna just in time…wanna be my guinea pig?” Charlotte asked. When Scott left, Robert thanked Diane for coming to his rescue. Charlotte told Anna she was making pumpkin bars. Anna told them she was subletting Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) old flat. Tracy told Brook Lynn she knew about friendship and family loyalty “And the sacrifices we make to take care of one another.” A comment Lois makes about the length of the Brooklyn bridge causes Eddie (Wally Kurth) to have a memory about being on the Brooklyn bridge with Lois after they were married. Ava asked Lois how she was able to get someone interested in buying Wyndemere and Spoon Island Cyrus asked Carly for a job as a cook at Kelly’s. But Carly said he would not be working there. She told Cyrus he wouldn’t be working there because she knew what he was. “You’re a monster,” Carly said. Tracy told Brook Lynn being married to a pauper wasn’t as romantic as it seemed. Eddie was uncomfortable about his memory and left the room. Anna praised Charlotte’s pumpkin bar. But soon the smoke alarm went off in the kitchen because the oven was on fire. Robert was interested in attending an animal advocacy fundraiser with Diane. Lucy told Ava the interested party was a holding company. Ava asked Lucy whether she verified the potential buyer had the funds to put the whole amount in escrow. After Diane left his office, Robert looked up where to get a tux near him then called Freddie’s Formals and asked what time they closed. Carly told Cyrus she knew who he was and could take his phony humility and sob sorry and get out. Cyrus reminded Carly how he saved Drew (Cameron Mathison). Tracy told Brook Lynn she worried about her and her future.

“The truth is I want you to have something real, something lasting and something stable and that’s Deception” Tracy told Brook Lynn, who didn’t want her grandmother sabotaging the confidence she was trying to build. Lois left Leo when she heard Eddie playing guitar. Valentin dropped Charlotte off at Kevin’s (Jon Lindstrom) office then left. Kevin asked Charlotte whether she felt like talking. Anna came to Robert’s office and asked him whether he could help her move. “You still got it Eddie,” Lois said. Tracy assured Brook Lynn she wanted to build her up, not break her down. Brook Lynn told Tracy all she wanted was some peace and quiet in the house. Scott met with Lucy, who asked him to help her break that deal she made with Tracy. Ava brought Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) to Kelly’s for the party. Carly admired Avery’s mermaid costume then showed her to the craft table to decorate some pumpkins. Robert helped Anna carry a chest that got lost in Robin’s (Kimberly McCullough) storage when she moved. Anna explained it contained journals and draft reports from her early days with the WSB. She realized she misplaced her keys. Kevin told Charlotte whatever they talked about was confidential and stayed in that room. Lucy wanted Scott to find a loophole to nullify the contract. Valentin came back to pick Charlotte up. Kevin told Charlotte he’d like to continue their conversation next week if that was okay. Eddie told Lois what she heard was all he had of the song. Lois told Eddie not to give up. Tracy told Brook Lynn she’d back up and had every confidence she’d make Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) a household name. Lucy told Scott she wouldn’t let Tracy run her company. Lucy realized that if she could wiggle two percent out of Tracy’s hands she’d be the major stockholder again. Ava told Carly after what happened with Austin’s (Roger Howarth) cousin Mason she was determined to get rid of Wyndemere. Anna opened the chest and told Robert no one had any idea the stash existed and it was off the grid. “Are you sure about that?” Robert asked. Kevin recorded his news from his first session with Charlotte, saying she’s already mastered the art of camouflage. Charlotte told Valentin she was sorry for burning the pumpkin bars. Kevin recorded that Charlotte was anchored to her father who protected her. “And in return, she feels a great responsibility to protect him.” It was revealed that Charlotte had Anna’s missing apartment key.

Thursday

Carly (Laura Wright) greeted Wiley, Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and Michael (Chad Duell) when they entered Kelly’s for the Halloween party. Wiley was Luke Skywalker, Willow was Princess Leia and Michael was Darth Vader. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) helped Trina (Tabyana Ali) with her Halloween costume. Trina was dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. Josslyn wasn’t coming to the party because Dex (Evan Hofer) couldn’t make it and she didn’t want to go alone. Cody (Josh Kelly) gave Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) Happy Halloween. Anna (Finola Hughes) went through her trunk. “Charlotte, what are you doing?” Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asked when he found his daughter outside. But didn’t see Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) looking at her keys. Aiden talked about learning 3D cake decorating. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) arrived at Anna’s new apartment with a housewarming present. Charlotte told Valentin she was just fixing the decorations. Valentin promised to make it a Halloween to remember. Jake, Danny and Georgie arrived. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) dressed as The Big Bad Wolf scared Josslyn. Upon seeing Trina, he said he had no words. After they left, Adam (Joshua Benard) arrived. Josslyn commented he looked like he’d seen a ghost. Aiden told Sonny (Maurice Benard) about Cameron’s (William Lipton) new girlfriend. Nina (Cynthia Watros) admired James (Dressed as a cowboy) and Wiley’s Halloween costume. Cody told Sasha the candy he brought was for her to give away. Adam was upset because he got a 92.5% on the midterm. Josslyn got an 89% and told him to stop being so hard on himself…he’d make a great doctor. Josslyn got a text and said she’d guess she was going out for Halloween afterall. Valentin thanked Sam (Kelly Monaco) for bringing the kids by.

Anna thanked Felicia for the British tea mug. Felicia told Anna how she made a mistake and almost ruined her patient advocacy career. Maxie (Kristen Storms) congratulated Nina and Sonny on their marriage. They told Maxie their wedding was perfect and what they wanted. Wiley and Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) argued over whether girls or boys were better at cornhole. Wiley wanted Grandma Nina on his cornhole team. Jake, Danny and Georgie didn’t want to go to the kids party at Kelly’s. Adam watched Dex and Josslyn leave. Anna assured Felicia she was just a diamond in the rough and would have as much wisdom as Stella (Vernee Watson) one day. Cody taped a ghost decoration on the door. Sasha thanks Cody for turning her abode into a haunted mansion. He gave her a witch’s hat and said she definitely cast a spell on him and was enchanting. Maxie told Carly she had an errand to run. Carly agreed to keep an eye on James. Sonny promised to take James on a trip on his jet that weekend. Noticing Michael’s glances, Nina told Willow she couldn’t make the trip to Montreal. Valentin called Anna and told her taking four teenagers trick-or-treating was his most dangerous mission. Trina and Spencer went back to the Jerome Gallery. Dex and Josslyn came back to her dorm room because the cops shut down the party. Maxie came to Sasha’s apartment and asked whether she still wanted to be the Face of Deception. After Felicia left, Anna went back to going through her trunk. Valentin was surprised by Charlotte’s cheerleading costume. Trina and Spencer danced at the gallery. Dex helped Josslyn get out of her Halloween costume. Adam looked at his midterm grade and started pulling his hair. “That’s it,” Anna said after reading something in a file. “Charlotte, what’s that for?” Jake asked, seeing the keys in her hands. “This is the key to getting everything I want,” Charlotte answered.

Friday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) came to see Carly (Laura Wright) at Kelly’s because she was worried about her friend. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) came to TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) apartment. Alexis was surprised when Kristina (Kate Mansi) arrived. Her daughters’ cordial manner confused Alexis since the last time she saw them, they were at each other’s throats. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) had another nightmare about Harmony coming to her to give her a warning. She told Michael (Chad Duell) about her dream. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) stopped the car and told the teens they weren’t going anywhere. Laura (Genie Francis) thanked Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) for talking with Charlotte. Valentin reminded the teens of the rules to stay together and meet back there by 9:00. Carly told Sam how hard it was hiding her feelings for Nina. Anna called Robert (Tristan Rogers) and left to meet him at his office. Willow told Michael she thinks the dream was trying to tell her someone was lying to her. Molly and Kristina explained how Alexis saying she wished she had her sister back convinced them to make up. While Jake (Hudson West), Danny and Georgie talked about their Halloween loot, Charlotte snuck away and changed into another Halloween costume. Carly told Sam how stubborn both Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Michael were. Willow asked Michael whether her dream meant she was worried things would go wrong between her and Nina. Kevin told Laura how protective Charlotte was of her father. Valentin called Laura to check in. Jake noticed Charlotte was gone. Alexis, Molly and Kristina ate chinese food. Molly pulled out a book of baby names. Kristina commented on Molly’s choices of names like Alber, Ferris and Althea. Alexis suggested they all look at the baby name book together while keeping their opinion to themselves. Carly and Sam commented how they’ve come a long way and were now friends. Anna arrived at Robert’s office and showed him a memo about Forsythe’s screw up and how the information she had could have ruined his career. Jake suggested he, Danny and Georgie go separate ways to look for Charlotte. Robert urged Anna to be careful because Forsyte could come after her. Danny and Georgie told Valentin that Charlotte disappeared and now Jake was gone too. Charlotte knocked on Anna’s door then used the stolen key to let herself into the apartment. Michael was surprised when Willow told him she wanted to go to Montreal with Nina, Sonny and the kids. Alexis told Molly and Kristina they had to wait and see what Judge Kim decided to do. Carly was surprised when Drew (Cameron Mathison) showed up at Kelly’s. “Is it really you?” Carly asked, then they kissed. He told her how they said he was free to go and he came straight there. After her mother and sister left, Molly picked up the baby name book again. Willow told Michael the more time she spent with Nina she was beginning to think they could have a real relationship. Michael told Willow he’d do whatever it took to make sure she and the kids were happy. “Tell me exactly what this costume looks like” Valentin asked Danny and Georgie when they told him Jake thought some kid dressed like The Hermit from the tarot cards was Charlotte. Meanwhile, Charlotte looked through the files in Anna’s trunk. Anna returned home. Realizing someone was in her apartment, she pulled out her gun. She quietly opened the door. Charlotte was trying to get her flashlight to work. “Freeze!” Anna shouted. It was dark and the figure looked as though it had a gun, so Anna fired her gun.
