Tuesday

At GH, Sonny (Maurice Benard) approached Carly (Laura Wright) and Laura (Genie Francis). Laura thanked Sonny for underwriting the hospital’s holiday festivities. Posing as the priest, Cyrus (Jeff Kober) urged Nina (Cynthia Watros) to unburden herself. Trina (Tabyana Ali) told Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) may have had a date and that was the reason she let him spend Christmas Eve with Ace. The memories continued to come flooding back for Esme. Ava (Maura West) arrived at Wyndemere and received a call from the security company about an intruder and that the PCPD had been alerted and would arrive shortly. Ava commented after hanging up that it may be too late as she held her gun. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) entered and was surprised to see Ava. Trina suggested Esme may have met someone who only knew the new Esme. Spencer assured it wouldn’t bother him if Esme started dating. His only concern was how that person treated Ace. Esme called Spencer to tell him she remembered everything but hesitated when she heard Trina’s voice in the background. Nina confessed she wished she could go back in time to undue all the damage she’d done. Cyrus told her the only way she could feel peace was to confess her wrong doing. Nina left and met Sonny at GH. Esme told Spencer he could spend Christmas morning with Ace and she’d pick him up later that afternoon. Sonny got a call about the breakin at Wyndemere. Laura offered to go with him. After they left, Nina told Carly how being at the church helped her make a decision about her. Laura and Sonny arrived and Laura offered to help Dante look around since she knew the property. Nina explained how blessed she’d been this year and she started to think about all Carly’s been through. Carly asked whether there was a point to all this. “I’m sorry and I’m trying to ask for your forgiveness,” Nina said. “Sorry for what?” Carly asked. Esme opened the terret door then hid when she heard a noise then hid. Dante had his gun drawn and Laura was behind him. They saw the terret door open and went to investigate. Esme ran out the room but dropped one of her gloves behind. Dante found the glove on the floor. Carly told Nina she saw forgiveness as the ultimate Christmas present but hated to disappoint her because she wouldn’t get it. Cyrus ran into the priest and asked his advice on how to help a friend with a heavy heart. After the priest walked away, Cyrus said “Confession is good for the soul. But if Nina doesn’t do what’s right, I might have to do it for her.” Carly told Nina she’d never forgive her then left. Despite Spencer trying to convince her to stay, Trina left when her rideshare arrived. Esme visited her father’s grave and talked with Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) commenting maye she was supposed to be bad because it was in her DNA. “That is the legacy you left me dad” Esme said. Dante asked Laura whether she recognized the glove. She thought it was Nicholas’ (Adam Huss) but Dante said it wasn’t a man’s glove. Sonny told Ava she was going to move in with him.

Wednesday

Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) arrived at their mother’s house where Alexis (Nancy Grahan) assured them “You’re not in any trouble…yet.” Lucy (Lynn Herring), Maxie (Temporarily being played by Nicole Poggi) and Tracy (Jane Eliott) were in a Deception senior leadership meeting. Lucy complained Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) wasn’t there. Chase (Josh Swickward) told Brook Lynn he was trying to find wedding venues that could accommodate guests with disabilities. Finn (Michael Easton) was concerned when he found Gregory (Gregory Harrison) in an examination room. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) had breakfast with Robert (Tristan Rogers) at Kelly’s and said she needed his help solving a mystery before Mac (John J. York) got back. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) arrived at the Quartermaine stables and told Cody (Josh Kelly) “I came to warn you…you’re in trouble.” Scott (Kin Shriner) arrived at Kelly’s and ordered everything on the left side of the menu, saying he intended to eat his feelings and had a lot of feelings. Felicia told Robert she had a feeling in her gut Cody lied about the DNA test results. Brook Lynn told Chase they’d have to up the date of their wedding if he wanted to make his dad happy. The doctor came in to examine Gregory. “Your surrogacy arrangement presents what could be a big legal problem” Alexis told her daughters. Brook Lynn told Chase his dad wanted them to get married right away. Gregory learned his doctor wanted to admit him for observation. “There is no binding agreement you could sign that would make that baby Molly’s” Alexis said. Lucy told Tracy she had nothing to live for since Luke (Anthony Geary) died. “If Felicia finds out I’m Mac’s son I’m going to Pentonville” Cody told Sasha. Felicia noticed Scott sitting in the corner and commented that the reason Cody lied about being Mac’s son would be a good question for a lawyer. Before she left for her senior leadership meeting, Brook Lynn told Chase he would make sure they did what was right for everyone. Chase got a call from Finn, who told them their dad took a fall. Alexis told Molly and Kristina that because Kristina was the donor and surrogate, any agreement between them is not enforceable. Kristina angrily asked Alexis whether she was trying to protect Molly from her. Lucy and Tracy exchanged barbs about how Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) settled down with the great love of Luke’s life, Laura (Genie Francis). Brook Lynn entered the office in time to hear Lucy say Tracy was going to die alone. The doctor announced Gregory’s collapse could be a new symptom of his disease. Cody told Sasha he’d go to jail for perjury if Felicia discovered he was Mac’s son. “What do you think Mac would want for your life?” Sasha asked Cody. Scott told Felicia how Cody Bell cost him a big payday. “Not for nothing mom but Molly is the lawyer here, not you” Kristina reminded Alexis. “You’ve changed a lot Cody and the only way to prove that is to come clean today” Sasha told Cody. Felicia learned that being Taub’s son would buy off big for Cody. Brook Lynn defended Tracy telling Lucy her grandmother understood love way better than Lucy ever would. After Lucy left, Brook Lynn told Tracy she was late for their meeting because something happened with Chase’s father. Gregory said he had plans for New Year’s that no one was going to stop him from keeping. Kristina apologized to Alexis saying she didn’t mean to dismiss her legal expertise. Molly and Kristina defended their legal bond and said nothing would ever make them forget that. Alexis praised her daughters for standing up for each other, even to her. Chase told Gregory he and Brook Lynn were getting married this Spring. Felicia intended to prove Cody lied about the DNA test results. Brook Lynn assured Tracy she was taking leading Deception seriously. Lucy entered Kelly’s and told Scott she had a plan where they’d be big winners in 2024. “You’re going to marry Tracy then we’re going to take her for everything she’s got.”

Thursday

On the Home & Heart set, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Maxie (Kristen Storms), Tracy (Jane Eliott) why she was late for the senior leadership meeting “I was with Cody we lost track of time.” “Really has something changed between the two of you?” Maxie asked as Cody (Josh Kelly) entered. While she was on the phone discussing the New Year’s Eve and Day schedule, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) watched Finn (Michael Easton). Lois (Rena Sofer) asked Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) why it felt like she’s been avoiding her since Christmas and whether she’s done something to upset her. “Did I betray you when I married Ned?” Olivia asked. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) came to his penthouse to ask Sonny (Maurice Benard) for a favor. “I need you to tell me I’m wrong.” “Have you changed your mind about me?” Kristina (Kate Mansi) asked when TJ (Taj Bellows) arrived at her apartment and said they needed to get some things straight. Lucy (Lynn Herring) told Scott (Kin Shriner) she was just getting started with her scheming. Alexis told Sonny how the surrogacy situation could be problematic for their entire family. Finn asked Elizabeth how they’d prove his innocence. Tracy watched Lucy and Scott argue. Cody watched Felicia (Kristina Wagner) when she arrived on the Home & Heart set. Lois told Olivia she did have thoughts about her marrying her former husband. Sonny assured things would work out because babies change everything. TJ told Kristina he needed to hear from her lips that she would be the baby’s aunt. Sasha promised Cody she’d keep an eye on Felicia. Finn and Elizabeth speculated whether Mr. Muldoon saw another doctor in Beecher’s Corners. Alexis told Sonny if he saw himself as the baby’s grandfather he was proving her point on how confusing the situation was. Lois told Olivia although she’d always love Ned (Wally Kurth) she wasn’t in love. She learned Tracy was the one who made Olivia think about this. Lois praised Olivia for being able to live with the Quartermaines. Felicia got the hairstylist to walk away by saying the producer was looking for her then pulled some of Cody’s hair out of the brush and put it in a plastic bag. Lucy and Scott staged another argument when he agreed with Tracy’s opinion about Cody wearing a cowboy hat for the photo shoot. Elizabeth thought it could work and convince the jury how another doctor could have missed diagnosing Mr. Muldoon’s cancer. Kristina assured TJ that although she would have a special connection with the baby, she was more than content to step back and be the cool aunt while he and Molly were the parents. Scott quit being Lucy’s lawyer. Cody made the suggestion he start wearing the hat then take it off later. Sasha found Felicia but didn’t see her put the hair sample in her purse. Scott apologized to Tracy for what he said about Luke (Anthony Geary). Sonny admitted he was a little worried too. Lucy told Maxie she couldn’t wait until Tracy got what was coming to her. Olivia confessed to Lois that Ned wasn’t the one who told Carly (Laura Wright) and Drew (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC. Lois asked Olivia why Ned was taking the blame. “So who turned Carly and Drew into the SEC? Who are you protecting and why?” Lois asked. Olivia told Lois the truth could hurt some of the people they both cared about and asked Lois to promise she wouldn’t say anything. Although she didn’t know anything, Lois promised. Alexis thanked Sonny for listening. “I can’t wait to see who your child grows up to be ”Kristina told TJ. Elizabeth told Finn she reached out to a couple nurses and found out Mr. Muldoon did see a doctor in Beecher’s Corners about a month before he came to see him. Sasha watched as Felicia gave the envelope to a man and asked him to take it straight to the lab for expedited testing.

Friday

Gregory (Gregory Harrison) waited for Alexis (Nancy Grahan) and the helipad. Alexis arrived and announced “I’m doing this…even if it kills me.” Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) came to her dorm room to pick Trina (Tabyana Ali) up. While she continued getting ready, Trina told Spencer “Entertain yourself.” He found a letter on her desk and asked “So who is writing you from the Sorbonne?” “You weren’t supposed to see that, ” Trina answered. Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) visited Heather (Alley Mills) at Pentonville. “I knew you’d be back,” Heather said. Sonny (Maurice Benard) came to her office at Crimson to pick Nina (Cynthia Watros) up for the party. But she had to work on the New Year’s bonuses. At The Savoy, Carly (Laura Wright) told Michael (Chad Duell) that since Scout had the flu, Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) couldn’t make it. And Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) was at GH working as there were a lot of callouts. Carly laughed about how Michael had to spend New Year’s Eve with his mother. Ned (Wally Kurth), Lois (Rena Sofer) and Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) arrived. When he went to get them drinks, Ned unfortunately bumped into Carly, who angrily said she’d been waiting to talk with him. “Ever since you pointed the SEC at me and Drew and Drew went to prison, I’ve been meaning to ask you…how would you like me to return the favor?” When Esme told Heather how Ace was spending Christmas with Trina and Spencer, Heather noticed the look of contempt when her daughter said Trina’s name and realized Esme got her memory back. Spencer told Trina she had to go to the Sorbonne for the art program opportunity. Alexis panicked when she met her instructor Falcon and apologized to Gregory and said she couldn’t do it. Nina was surprised when Cyrus (Jeff Kober) arrived at her office at Crimson. “You want the truth? I’ll tell you exactly why Drew was sent to Pentonville” Ned said. Heather told Esme how she’s been studying her since she first met her in Springridge and knew her mannerisms. Esme was relieved to finally have someone to talk with about this. Heather told Esme she did the right thing by coming to visit her mother. When he told Nina to remember “You don’t walk alone”, she remembered the priest in the confessional saying the same thing. Michael came to Ned and Carly and asked Ned what he got out of it. Thinking about getting Michael’s ELQ voting rights, Ned sidetracked and said he was just trying to help the little guy. Sonny came over. Michael pulled his father aside to talk. Watching the scene, Lois hated Ned getting called out for something he didn’t do. Alexis worried how Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) would fare if she died in the jump. After Gregory assured her daughters would be fine, Alexis decided to do the jump. Heather urged Esme to keep telling people what they wanted to hear. Trina wanted Spencer to come to France with her but knew he couldn’t leave Ace. But Spencer said since Esme had moved out and was Ace’s primary caregiver and he’d only be a flight away, Spencer said “When the woman you love invited you to go to Paris, you say yes.” Cyrus told Nina she was talking to a man of God just as she was now adding “So Nina…how can I help you?” “Did Michael turn his own mother into the SEC?” Lois asked Olivia. Carly told Sonny she was going to leave and not stay for the count. Olivia told Lois that Michael didn’t turn his mother into the SEC. Lois realized she was overthinking this and the answer was right in front of her face. She asked whether Ned had something on Michael and Michael was paying him off to keep quiet. Cyrus told Nina he just wanted her to confess. “So what’s your angle Mr. Renault…what are you planning to do with what you know?” Nina asked Cyrus. Spencer told Trina it would give him the chance to experience Europe with new eyes with someone he loved. He told Trina they still had time to make the fireworks. Heather urged Esme to keep up the charade for Ace’s sake. Heather also told Esme to practice some self care by putting on a party dress…maybe she would meet someone new. Heather told Esme it was a pleasure finally meeting her daughter. Lois realized that Nina was the one who tipped off the SEC. Surviving the jump, Alexis told Gregory she loved it, it was amazing and transformative. Then she and Gregory kissed. Carly was happy when Drew arrived at her house, surprising her on New Year’s Eve. Cyrus told Nina he wanted her redemption. Cyrus told Nina it was her actions that determined her life’s destiny. Nina’s phone rang. It was Sonny. Olivia told Lois nothing good would come out of the truth being revealed. Ned and Olivia left for the docks to watch the fireworks. Lois said she had to powder her nose and would meet them there. When Sonny came to her, Lois told him he would miss the fireworks. With the fireworks going off in the background, Drew and Carly began undressing. “I would follow you anywhere” Spencer told Trina as they watched the fireworks. Esme seethed watching them. Nina told Cyrus if anyone tells Sonny it should be her. “I have faith that you’ll do the right thing. But until then, I won’t be far” Cyrus told Nina. “Something on your mind?” Sonny asked Lois. “You have a right to know what’s going on,” Lois answered. “What’s going on? Get to the point” Sonny said. “They’re lying to you,” Lois said. “Who?” Sonny asked. “Your family…they’re all lying to you” Lois told Sonny.
