Monday

Carly (Laura Wright) was at Kelly’s thinking about Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) when someone knocked on the door. It was Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Cody (Josh Kelly) she performed her own DNA test by taking a few strains of his hair from the hairbrush the stylish used on him at Home & Heart. “It looks like deception runs in the family,” Cody said. At Cafe Cherie, Lucy (Lynn Herring) told Scott (Kin Shriner) she had to order Bobbie’s favorite flowers. Tracy (Jane Eliott) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) were at The Port Charles Grill having a business lunch when Martin (Michael E. Knight) entered. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) comforted Josslyn (Temporarily being played by Courtney Fulk). Willow noticed Michael (Chad Duell) in the background. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) entered the interrogation room at the PCPD and told Sonny (Maurice Benard) “Bobbie Spencer died.” Elizabeth told Carly she wanted to be there to be closer to Bobbie. Carly invited Elizabeth in for a cup of coffee. Martin told Tracy that Lucy was planning something for Bobbie Spencer. Lucy cried to Scott she wasn’t able to make things right with Bobbie. Dante told Sonny he was there for him. “Sometimes I’m a cop. But I’m your son, twenty-four seven.” Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) entered Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) office. Felicia told the group the DNA test she ran proved Cody wasn’t Mac’s (John J. York) son. When Maxie left with Felicia, Cody asked Sasha “What the hell just happened?” When Diane (Caroly Henessy) arrived, Sonny told his lawyer he didn’t hit Cyrus (Jeff Kober) in self defense because Renault never raised a hand at him. Willow asked Michael why he didn’t call her about Bobbie. When Sasha told Cody she switched out the hair sample with her own, Cody said she just implicated herself in a crime. Tracy told Martin that Scott Baldwin is the one person who knows Lucy Coe and has stood by her. Lucy couldn’t understand why everyone forgave Bobbie for her mistakes but couldn’t give her the same courtesy. Diane took a call and learned Cyrus would make a full recovery, adding she should be able to get him bail. She asked Sonny once he’s released whether he wanted her to start divorce proceedings against Nina (Cynthia Watros). Elizabeth helped Carly with the pipes in the kitchen. Carly told Elizabeth all she wanted to do was run Kelly’s right and make her mother proud. Elizabeth assured her she was everything to her mother. Michael told Willow he’d do anything to make things right between them. But Willow told Michael he really hurt her. Cody thanked Sasha for the risk she took for him. He berated himself for allowing Scott to talk him into a lawsuit and a big payday. “It cost me a family, ” Cody said. Willow told Michael she needed space. After Willow left, Michael told Josslyn how he found out Nina reported Carly and Drew (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC and kept it from everyone. Diane told Sonny she’s going to see about getting him released. Elizabeth told Carly how Bobbie helped her through one of the darkest periods of her life. Carly thanked Elizabeth for talking with her and for staying “It’s what my mom would have done.” Maxie and Felicia visited BJ’s grave. Michael asked Josslyn whether she’d ever told a lie to protect someone she loved. Lucy realized she was jealous of Bobbie and the respect and admiration that Bobbie had. Scott told Lucy that Bobbie didn’t deserve the things he did to her. After Martin left, Tracy told Brook Lynn that Lucy and Scott were trying to put one over on her. “But they’ve clearly forgotten who I am. You cross me and I destroy you.” Diane told Dante to look after his father. “You’re just going to have to face the fact that you’re not alone in the world anymore” Sasha told Cody. “I’ve got a partner in crime now,” Cody commented. Brook Lynn told Tracy she hoped dealing with Lucy and Scott didn’t distract her from dealing with her feelings. Lucy told Scott they had to get him married off to Tracy Quartermaine then bring her down. As she closed up Kelly’s Carly was surprised when Sonny appeared at the door.

Tuesday

“I got here as soon as I could. I’m sorry I’m probably the last person you want to see…I’ll keep my distance” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Carly (Laura Wright) who cried in his arms. Ava (Maura West) came to the PCPD. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told her the person who broke into Wyndemere has confessed. In the interrogation room, Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) was pacing. Laura (Genie Francis) told her to calm down, adding she’ll feel better once she tells the truth. “Not if Ava wants my head” Esem said worried. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) was glad to see Gregory (Gregory Harrison) when he showed up at her office at The Invader. Dr. Martel told Portia (Brooke Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) out of the twenty-three people who’d gone through the procedure only three were successful. Not exactly the best odds. While in the waiting room, TJ (Taj Bellows), Stella (Vernee Watson), Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Marshall (Robert Gossett) discussed the procedure. Stella worried how it would affect Curtis if the procedure didn’t work. Marshall told her they needed to stay positive for Curtis. “If you can’t be all in then don’t be here at all!!!” Marshall shouted then walked away. Alexis showed Gregory the photos of their skydiving adventure. She suggested they get certified so they could go skydiving alone the next time. Gregory said he had to pass. He wanted to talk about the kiss. “If Esme has a tale to tell, I’m willing to listen. But for her sake it better be convincing” Ava told Esme and Laura. Sonny asked Carly how she and the kids were doing. Carly didn’t know how she’d tell them their grandmother was gone. Marshall told TJ he was a hypocrite because Stella was only saying what he was thinking himself. “I’d rather have my son in a wheelchair than not at all.” Stella noticed Trina was distracted. “Aunt Stella, I did something terrible,” Trina said. Dr. Martel gave Portia and Curtis time alone to make sure they wanted to go through with it. Sonny remembered how Carly was there for him when he had to tell Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) about his dad and promised to be there for her. “Bobbie was a force of nature,” Sonny said. They talked about how Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) didn’t want them together. Sonny said Bobbie wanted her daughter to have a happy life and didn’t think she’d have one with him. Trina told Stella about studying at the Sorbonne and how Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) agreed to go with her. Stella told Trina he knew what she’d do. Alexis said their kiss came out of adrenaline. “So what comes next?” Alexis asked. “An apology,” Gregory answered. He called the kiss a sympathy kiss and asked Alexis whether she’d kiss him back if she hadn’t known he was running out of time. Portia told Curtis that looking at the surgery as his wife made her scared. Marshall told TJ he’d breathe a lot easier once Curtis was out of surgery. TJ asked whether everything was okay between him and Aunt Stella. Stella told Trina to go to Paris…they’d be fine. She told Trina although she had no regrets helping to raise Curtis and Tommy, she often wondered what might have been if she had the freedom to live her life. Esme explained she came to Wyndemere to try to remember her past but said she was sorry for invading Ava’s space. Ava asked Esme whether she remembered. “I still don’t know who I am…I’m just as lost as ever” Esme lied. Carly and Sonny’s conversation shifted to Nina (Cynthia Watros). When Carly said she just wanted him to be happy, Sonny commented that was Bobbie. Marshall apologized to Stella then asked whether it was just him or did something spark between them on Christmas Eve. Alexis told Gregory there was nothing to forgive. Gregory told Alexis he needed the constant of her being his friend. Curtis told Portia even if the procedure didn’t work out, he wanted the doctors to use the information to help the next person. When Dr. Martel returned to the room, Portia told him she and her husband had decided not to wait another moment. “My husband’s ready,” Portia said. Laura asked Ava whether they could work something out…perhaps Esme could do community service. Ava asked Dante what the average sentence was for breaking and entering and announced she was pressing charges. She told Esme and Laura she didn’t care that Esme didn’t remember her past. As far as she was concerned, Esme never paid for drugging Trina or the revenge porn. And even though a sentence under a year was a slap on the wrist, it was a start. Sonny told Carly that she and Bobbie showed him forgiveness for how she forgave Carly. He commented that he’s sorry he didn’t have the chance to thank Bobbie but would tonight in his prayers. As he was wheeled into surgery, Curtis asked everyone to look after Portia. Laura reminded Ava that Esme had a baby. But Ava said Esme’s baby had enough people to love and care for him. And Trina was charged and tried for a crime she didn’t commit so Esme should pay for one she admitted to doing. Ava told Laura that a leopard doesn’t change its spots. “And neither does that Esme.” Then, Ava left the PCPD. Dante handcuffed Esme and read her her rights. “You said they’d let me go” Esme cried to Laura as she was led away. Before leaving her office, Gregory suggested Alexis try skydiving solo, adding he’d cheer her on. “Okay people, this is where we give this man a chance to walk” Dr. Martel told his OR team as Curtis’ surgery began. “Thanks for stopping by. I really needed it” Carly told Sonny. She noticed the bruises on his hand. Carly commented that him showing up helped her feel a little less alone. “Kelly’s looks great. Bobbie would have been very proud of you” Sonny said then left the diner. After locking up, Carly looked around the room and said “I love you mom.”

Wednesday

Amidst tears, Carly (Laura Wright) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) get ready for Bobbie’s (Jackie Zeman) memorial service. Lucas (Ryan Carnes) arrives at Carly’s house and is greeted by Josslyn (Temporarily being played by Courtney Fulk) and Michael (Chad Duell). Maxie (Kristina Wagner) asked James to promise when she got him there’d be no fighting with his sister. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Felicia arrived. Maxie hugged them. At GH, Laura (Genie Francis) looked at the memorial pictures. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) comforted his grandmother. Sam (Kelly Monaco), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) left for the memorial service. Carly hugged Lucas and asked “How are we going to do this?” “I don’t know. But we will” Lucas answered. Carly took a phone call. She arrived at Kelly’s to find Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) holding the broken Kelly’s sign that was knocked down in the recent storm. She offered to paint a new one, saying like Bobbie, Kelly’s means a lot to the community. Carly, Michael, Josslyn and Lucas entered the church. Carly answered she was hanging in there when asked by Dante and Sonny how she was holding up. Maxie told Anna and Felicia how sometimes she had a memory of being in the hospital and filling Uncle Tony’s (Brad Maule’s) head on her chest. Felicia called it a blessing Maxie carried that moment with her. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) apologized to Michael for being late, saying she loved Bobbie so much. “And I know you loved her even more,” Willow said. Laura (Genie Francis) hoped she’d do Bobbie justice by giving the eulogy. Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer offered their condolences to Josslyn. Tracy told Carly how she admired Bobbie’s fierce loyalty. When she spotted Lucy (Lynn Herring), Tracy suggested they call a truce just for today for Bobbie’s sake. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) lit a candle for Bobbie’s spirit and recalled the words Bobbie offered to help her to help Kristina (Kate Mansi) after the Kiefer incident. Scott (Kin Shriner) told Laura how he was coming up empty on what to say about Bobbie. Maxie asked Anna whether she recognized the woman sitting in the church. Lucas, Michael, Spencer, Drew (Cameron Mathison), Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) and Felix were pallbearers and carried Bobbie’s coffin to the front of the church. The priest began and asked for them to learn to love unconditionally. Laura spoke about the lives Bobbie touched and how she led with her heart and how positive she was. “Also she was not afraid to fight for the things she believed in” Laura said adding “Bobbie Spencer was an experience. One that I will truly miss.” Scott spoke next about Bobbie’s attributes saying he realized today they were meant to be best friends. “I’m going to miss you Bobbie with everything I got.” Elizabeth spoke next about how Bobbie was a healer. She vowed to continue Bobbie’s legacy of helping others and would try to make her proud. Carly spoke about how Bobbie wasn’t the mother who raised her but was the mother who mentored her who made room in her heart and taught her to make room in her heart for others. Carly talked about how she saw Bobbie in her kids. “I love you Barbara Jean Spencer…the world’s a very different place without you” Carly said in conclusion. Maxie followed the mysterious woman (Brighton Hertford) as she left the church. The woman handed Maxie her business card and introduced herself as “Angela Brighton, a reporter from the APM doing a story on your friend.” “What kind of story?” Maxie asked. Felix offered his condolences to Lucas saying he really would miss Bobbie and thanked Lucas for sharing her with them. Maxie brought Angela to Carly and Felicia, saying they had something important to tell them. Back at Kelly’s, Angela told Carly and Felicia that Bobbie was on a rescue mission in Amsterdam “Your mother was helping young women escape human trafficking.” Angela explained how Bobbie was working with a non profit helping the women get asylum in the US. She told them how Bobbie was in the process of arranging asylum for someone before she passed. “Do you know if the woman got here?” Carly asked then went outside to get some air. Felicia came outside and talked with Carly, who told Felicia they had one person who might know who Bobbie’s contact was. Tracy came to Carly’s house and Carly said “I need your help.” Felicia commented that Angela had kind eyes. Felicia told Maxie she wanted to walk home. Angela commented about Maxie and Felicia’s close relationship, adding how she felt the same about her mom. Carly told Tracy about Bobbie working to stop human trafficking saying she wanted to make sure the woman Bobbie tried to help was safe. Tracy told Carly how Tracy went to a cafe up the street from Luke’s often. Carly told Drew and Carly she was going to Amsterdam tonight. Drew and Josslyn said they were proud of Carly. “But no one would be more proud of you than Bobbie.” Maxie thought Angela should talk with some of the people Bobbie helped. She suggested Angela meet her there tomorrow. Carly was surprised when Felicia arrived at her house and said she spoke with Drew who said Carly had a lead on Bobbie’s contact in Amsterdam. “I’d like to come with you,” Felicia told Carly. She explained how Bobbie gave her life meaning and gave her daughter life. “I owe her everything and I’d really like to give her this one last thing.” “Well, we better get going,” Carly said. “TO BE CONTINUED…”

Thursday

It seemed unreal for Anna (Finola Hughes) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) seeing Bobbie’s (Jackie Zeman) picture of the memorial wall at GH. In Amsterdam at the cafe, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) reminded Carly Laura Wright) she couldn’t go around asking questions. Angela (Brighton Hertford) met with Maxie (Kristen Storms) at Kelly’s. Maxie told Angela there were a lot of people who could share stories about Bobbie. Maxie was confident that her mom and Felicia could find Bobbie’s contact. When a woman entered the cafe, Felicia told Carly “I think we might have found your mom’s contact.” Laura (Genie Francis) was the first person Angela interviewed. She told Angela how in the early years, she and Bobbe were fighting over a boy. We got a flashback of a young Laura and Bobbie. Laura said how she wished there’d been more people like Bobbie who told it like it was. “Bobbie was never afraid to be honest with me and I loved her for that” Laura said. Carly and Felicia sat down with Bobbie’s contact. The woman explained how Bobbie opened up her home as a refuge to shelter women who were being trafficked until their asylum paperwork came through. The woman told Carly and Felicia about the woman Bobbie was sheltering named Cornelia. Lucas (Ryan Carnes) told Angela a story about how his dad Tony (Brad Maule) and older sister BJ used to call him Champ and how his mom didn’t like nicknames. Lucas said Bobbie was a very principled woman who had no problem standing up for what she believed in. We got a flashback of a younger Bobbiw having an altercation with Tracy (Jane Eliott) while defending Lucas. Felicia called Anna to ask whether she had any contacts in the state department when she learned that Cornelia never got the asylum paperwork. Anna put the call on speaker so Robert could hear. Since he still had some contacts, Robert said he’d see what he could do. When the woman mentioned a cabin in the woods, Carly exclaimed she knew where Cornelia was. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen), Michael (Chad Duell) and Josslyn (Temporarily being played by Courtney Fulk) talked about how Bobbie cared about family. In another flashback, Willow recalled on her wedding day how Bobbie gave her a bracelet that Luke (Anthony Geary) gave her. As they dove to the cabin in the woods in Canada, Felicia swerved to avoid hitting a moose. She asked Carly “How are you at changing a tire?” Scott (Kin Shriner) was interviewed next. Scott (Kin Shriner) was interviewed next. He remembered an argument with Bobbie. Lucy (Lynn Herring) recalled an altercation with Bobbie and made a statement that the true test of someone’s character was taking stock of their enemies. She called herself a lucky woman for having walked through this life with Bobbie as her worthy adversary. As they changed the tire, Felicia told Carly how she resented her for how she destroyed Bobbie’s marriage to Tony when she first came to town. Carly understood because she had been angry with Felicia for abandoning Maxie. They decided to forgive each other and lean on each other. “We have a new tire,” Felicia announced. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Angela how Bobbie was there for her when she was sexually assaulted as a teenager. We got a flashback of a younger Bobbie offering support to a teenage Elizabeth. Carly and Felicia arrived at the cabin. Cornelia attacked them with a shovel until Carly was able to prove she was Bobbie’s daughter. Carly told Cornelia how Bobbie died but they knew her story and were there to help. Cornelia hugged Carly. Felicia called Anna and told her they were ready for that favor. Angela thanked Maxie for arranging her to interview all those people. She told Maxie she couldn’t stay in town long. When she took a call from Felicia and turned around, Maxie found Angela gone. Carly and Felicia arrived at GH. Maxie hugged her mother while Elizabeth saw to the cut on Carly’s head. Carly told Elizabeth she had something in mind for the sign Elizabeth offered to paint. The next morning, Maxie told Felicia she couldn’t find Angela’s business card. Felicia offered to help track Angela down. Inside Kelly’s, Carly, Laura and Lucas admired the new sign Elizabeth painted. Felicia called the Associated Press in Amsterdam explaining she needed to get a message to one of their reporters, Angela Brighton. But the woman on the phone who’d worked there for years said there was never anyone by that name who worked there. Leaving to catch his flight, Lucas ran into Angela outside Kelly’s. He was surprised when she called him champ. Felicia made a shocking revelation “Brighton was Barbara Jean.” Maxie also realized Angela Brighton was BJ. She and Felicia hugged each other. We got many flashbacks of Bobbie over the years. Carly hung the new diner sign. It read Bobbie’s.

Friday

Nikolas (Adam Huss) surprised Ava (Maura West) at her gallery. He asked whether she’d sent the invitations out yet for the party. “Esme’s partying days are over…at least for now she’s in jail” Ava told Nikolas. Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) visited Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) in the interrogation room at the PCPD. She told him she wasn’t as worried about herself and facing prison time as much as she was worried about her son. At GH, Curtis (Donnell Turner) woke up to Portia’s smiling face (Brooke Kerr) . “Hey babe…how’d I do?” Curtis asked. “Flying colors. One for the record books” Portia answered. When Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) entered, Curtis told her he was ready to face the day. Vernee commented it was time to spread the word. Josslyn (Temporarily being played by Courtney Fulk) felt guilty for telling the RA about Adam (Joshua Benard). Trina received a call from Stella and told Josslyn that Curtis was awake. After his office (and Dex) were swept for bugs to ensure no one could overhear, Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Dex (Evan Hofer) they needed to have a conversation and once they did, it couldn’t leave the office. “I need you to do something important for me. Think of it like a crucial test. And once you do this for me, there’s no looking back” Sonny told Dex. Trina told Josslyn not to beat herself up for talking to the RS Kiley. Trina left for GH when Adam arrived. Adam told Josslyn he knew he should stand up for himself but wasn’t strong enough. Portia told Curtis that Dr. Martel said it was looking very positive. Spencer asked Esme why she broke into Wyndemere on Christmas. Ava told Nikolas that Esme’s hearing was today and she was going to go down to the courthouse to watch the judicial system in action. Nikolas hid when someone opened the door. It was Nina (Cynthia Watros). Ava reminded Nina how Sonny reacted when he felt betrayed. Sonny told Dex he wanted him to take care of Cyrus (Jeff Kober) for himself. When RA Kiley arrived, Adam called Josslyn a snitch. Ava told Nina that Cyrus Renault was in the hospital because Sonny beat him almost to death. Trina told Curtis about being accepted to study at the Sorbonne for the spring semester. Curtis asked to talk with Trina alone. Esme asked Spencer to bring Ace to the courthouse. Curtis encouraged Trina to go to Paris. Trina told Curtis she wouldn’t be solo in Paris. “Spencer’s coming with me.” Nina reasoned Cyrus told Sonny about her turning Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Carly (Laura Wright) into the SEC, explaining to Ava how she thought she was confessing to a priest but it was Cyrus. Ava told Nina how Sonny was facing assault charges. Robert (Tristan Rogers) told Diane (Carolyn Henessy) he was finally going to put Sonny Corinthos away. Sonny told Dex that if Cyrus was dead the DA’s case would fall apart. Sonny called it disappointing when Dex appeared to hesitate. “I told you from the beginning that I need loyal men by my side. Are you loyal or not?” Sonny asked Dex. Curtis told Trina she should go to Paris alone, saying Spencer would be there when she got back. “Won’t he?” Curtis asked. When Esme made a comment about actions having consequences referring to his past actions, Spencer asked “You remember don’t you?” Adam panicked that his parents would see information from health services that was sent to his student portal. Nina left to try to do something to help Sonny. Nikolas told Ava it was time to say goodbye. Diane told Robert that the defendant (Sonny) would be more sympathetic than the victim (Cyrus). Sonny asked Dex whether he was with him. Adam told Kiley how his parents forced him to give them his password when he lied about having an internship and would go ballistic thinking he was wasting his time parting. Josslyn told Adam she believed the counselor could help him. Nikolas and Ava said their goodbyes. Sonny told Dex he wanted him to do it immediately because Cyrus was weak and exposed. “Anything could happen in a hospital,” Sonny told Dex. Trina told Curtis, Portia and Stella she felt bad for Ace because if Esme went to prison he would have no parents. Esme made a slip and called Spencer ‘Spence.’ After Trina left, Curtis told Portia and Stella if Esme went to prison Spencer would want to stay in Port Charles to raise Ace. Before leaving Cafe Cherie, Diane told Robert if Sonny went to prison and she had free time she wouldn’t be busy with him. Adam refused to go to health services then stormed out of Trina and Josslyn’s dorm room. At GH, Dex left a voicemail for Josslyn and hid and watched Nina ask which room with Cyrus’. “She was lying…she remembers everything” Spencer realized. Someone knocked on the door. Spencer opened it and was surprised to find Nikolas standing there.
