A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived at his penthouse. Sonny asked Sam how Alexis (Nancy Grahan) was holding up. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) noticed Alexis was distracted and asked whether everything was okay. “No, everything isn’t okay. My nephew Spencer is dead” Alexis answered. Lucy (Lynn Herring) was worried because Martin (Michael E. Knight) hasn’t returned her calls. When Scott (Kin Shriner) entered, Lucy asked him to call Tracy (Jane Eliott) to find out about their plan. Tracy ignored Scott’s call and then went up to Martin at the bar. Tracy told Martin how Scott comforted Lucy after she and Martin had their spat. Jagger (Adam Harrington) told Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) they should have stayed out of his investigation. Laura (Genie Francis) was happily surprised when Nikolas (Adam Huss) and Ace showed up at her door. Nikolas asked Laura whether it was true about Spencer then asked “Was it Esme?” Laura said it was. Nikolas cried that Spencer died because he took Ace. “My son is dead because of me,” Nikolas cried. Tracy told Martin that Scott and Lucy couldn’t stay away from each other and didn’t want to. Scott asked Lucy whether Martin was really worth it, adding he just wanted her to be happy. Lucy left to find Martin and told Scott to stay put. Sonny told Sam and Dante that Ava (Maura West) was with Trina (Tabyana Ali). After Sam left to check on Alexis at The Invader, Dante asked Sonny what was really going on. Sonny told Dante there was an incident on the island. “Somebody almost took me out,” Sonny said. Jagger refused to deputize Anna and Jordan. Alexis blamed herself for offering Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) the job. Gregory told Alexis she gave Esme a chance. Laura put Ace down for a nap so he wouldn’t see how upset his father was. When Nikolas said he couldn’t stay and had to go because he would end up in prison, Laura said he deserved to be in prison for holding a pregnant woman captive, adding if this was the kind of man and father he was, Ace would be better off without him. Lucy found Martin at The Metro Court bar and asked for his forgiveness. Dante told Sonny he wanted to help him if he could. Sonny told Dante he didn’t know who to trust anymore. Laura told Nikolas if he just faced the mistakes he made it wasn’t too late for him to have a good life. Martin told Lucy whenever she required solace her instinct was to turn to Scott which said a lot about them. Gregory apologized to Tracy for being late and told her about Spencer’s death. Sam arrived at her mother’s office. Alexis told her she had to write Spencer’s obituary and would lose it if she had to talk about him in the past one more time. Sam and Alexis reimscience about Spencer. “Spencer was a dramatic child,” Sam said. “He was a brilliant kid and he had a lot to offer. Now all we have is memories” Alexis said. Jagger continued to tell Anna and Jordan because neither of them were law enforcement so he couldn’t have them conduct their own investigation. “So bring us in,” Anna told Jagger. Laura told Nikolas for Ace’s sake he had to atone for his mistakes. “We just lost Spencer…don’t make me lose you too.” Laura told Nikolas. She told Nikolas she knew he had strength. “Because I saw it in Spencer and he got it from you” Laura said hugging her son. Jagger asked Anna and Jordan about their meeting with the dealer. “Did you get anything useful from him?” Jagger asked. Lucy told Martin how she and Bobbie never really got along. Martin commented on the bond Lucy and Bobbie formed over the years from having seen each other at their best and worst. Lucy asked Martin whether they no longer worked. Gregory told Tracy how he mourned the loss of Esme who allowed her father to mold her bitterness. Dante told Sonny they question everyone. “Everyone is guilty until we prove otherwise” Dante told Sonny. Sam suggested to Alexis they focus on what made Spencer who he was in his obituary. Alexis commented how Spencer was guarded as a little kid but opened up as an adult and allowed them to see him for who he was and he was a gift. Martin told Lucy whatever they had was eclipsed by what she has with Scott, adding he loved her more than he ever loved any woman. Tracy watched as Lucy ran out crying and got on the elevator. Scott comforted Lucy when she told him Martin broke up with her and said he deserved better. Anna offered Jagger an exchange of information. Jagger didn’t like the idea of Anna sharing information with Sonny saying “No one has ever been able to put a leash on Sonny Corinthos.” “Maybe I’ll be the first,” Anna said. Laura called Dante and asked him to come over. “I’m here with Nikolas. He’s ready to turn himself in.” Tracy approached Martin at his table and said she owed him an apology. Scott told Lucy that Martin was too stupid to see how great she was. “You’re Lucy Coe, the best there is” Scott told Anna and Jordan. Jagger told Anna and Jordan they were under arrest for obstructing a federal investigation. Alexis read Spencer’s obituary in which a scholarship was set up in his name for the study of dramatic arts. Dante read Nikolas his rights. Nikolas asked whether he could say goodbye to his son. Then, Dante handcuffed him. Nikolas told Laura he was doing this for her, Ace and Spencer because he wanted to be a man in which they could be proud.

Tuesday

Lucy (Lynn Herring) pulled away from kissing Scott (Kin Shriner) and asked “What is this?”Lucy asked. “What we both wanted”Scott answered and they resumed kissing. Martin (Michael E. Knight) told Tracy Jane Eliott) he broke up with Lucy. At the PCPD, Jagger (Alex Harrington) got caught up with Robert (Tristan Rogers). Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) were being detained in a cell at the PCPD. Jordan asked Anna how longer Agent Cates would take the obstruction charges. Anna assured Jordan they would get help from their friends. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived. “Someone tried to kill your father” Dex (Evan Hofer) told Michael when he came to Aurora Media. “I need people I can trust,” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Brick (Stephen A. Smith). Jagger told Robert he was the one who arrested Anna. Dante told Anna and Jordan if he were to help them they had to tell him what happened starting from the beginning. “It all started with your father,” Anna told Dante. “You think I’m behind this?!” Brick asked indignantly when Sonny said he had to go to the source of his security to see where it was breached. Michael told Dex this was the reason he wanted him to continue to work for Sonny. Tracy admitted to Martin she manipulated him when she found out Lucy and Scott were trying to trick her, adding Martin could either berate her or try to get Lucy back. Lucy and Scott had a literal role in the hay on the Deception photo shoot set. Lucy called what they did a disaster while Scott said it was amazing. Martin called Lucy but she wasn’t answering his calls. He commented that Tracy got what she wanted and blew up his relationship with Lucy. “Why confess now?” Martin asked Tracy. Lucy wasn’t proud she had sex with another man when Martin just broke up with her. Scott told Lucy she better be honest with him and herself. Robert told Jagger although he respected the position he was in, he had to insist he drop the charges. Anna told Dante they managed to get one piece of intel. Sonny told Brick he didn’t think it was him but had to ask. Brick told Sonny in the spirit of honesty he had a confession to make. Brick told Sonny about the favor he did for Jordan Ashford. “This wasn’t a mistake or an accident…somebody wants me dead” Sonny told Brick. Michael told Dex how he didn’t think his father wanted to see him. “He’s more angry because I was right about her all along,” Michael said, referring to Nina (Cynthia Watros). Dante offers to talk with Robert to see whether he could get them arraigned and out of there tonight. Robert told Jagger if he dropped the charges he’d get Anna and Jordan to share what they had. Scott told Lucy that being together was like breathing. Martin entered and saw them together. He said he came to tell her he was wrong and all of their problems had been manufactured by Tracy Quartermaine. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) entered and apologized for the delay. “I don’t have a problem with Martin. I have a problem with you” Tracy told Gregory. Jagger agreed to drop the charges as long as Robert keeps Anna and Jordan in line. Dante entered and asked to speak with the DA. Robert told Dante the Feds were dropping the charges. After Robert left, Dante introduced himself to Agent John Cates, who knew he was Sonny Cornithos’ son. Brick told Sonny it fit that Dex was the guilty part in order to play hero and infiltrate himself closer into the organization. “Is it possible how you’re feeling is how he wants you to feel?” Brick asked Sonny. Michael asked Dex to do his own investigation without Sonny knowing and he’d pay him extra for the risk he was taking. Robert came down to the holding cell and gave Anna and Jordan the good news that Jagger was dropping the charges and the bad news they had to back up. Remembering Laura’s (Genie Francis) offer of a position in her administration, Anna realized she could still investigate. Tracy told Gregory since meeting him, she’s changed. Martin told Lucy how Tracy used her nature against her. He said the sad part was he still loved her but was done talking. Dante learned Jagger was Stone Cates’ older brother. Anna and Jordan entered the interrogation room. She told Jagger she’d continue to investigate as the new police commissioner. Scott told Lucy she deserved better than Martin. Lucy ordered Scott to leave. Gregory thanked Tracy for not handling him with kid gloves. He laughed. It was nice to have someone treat him like normal. Anna told Jagger if he wanted the PCPD’s help he had to give them the FBI’s help. Brick agreed to investigate Dex. Michael wired money into Dex’s account. Sonny told Brick he’d make Dex pay if he found out he hadn’t been completely honest.

Wednesday

As Laura (Genie Francis), Kevin (Jon Lindstrom), Cyrus (Jeff Kober), Sonny (Maurice Benard), Ava (Maura West), Trina (Tabyana Ali), Portia (Brooke Kerr), Josslyn (Eden McCoy)and Cameron (William Lipton) lay roses on Spencer’s (Nicholas Chavez) grave, we hear Alexis (Nancy Grahan) giving the eulogy. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) found Michael (Chad Duell) with baby food in his hair from feeding Amelia. He commented on how on days like this they should remember what’s important. Cameron hugged Trina, who told him and Josslyn although she loved Spencer more than anything, she didn’t say how sorry she was for their loss as they were friends with Spencer since they were little kids. Ava offered Trina comfort. Trina asked Portia to take her home instead of going to Wyndemere. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was happy to see her son even though the circumstances were a sad one. She talked about Cameron’s friendship and rivalry with Spencer over the years. Laura was also happy to see Cameron. Sam (Kelly Monaco), Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sonny left for Wyndemere. Kevin told Laura he’d meet her there because he had to take care of something first. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) told Finn (Michael Easton) he intended to be cremated but now wanted a headstone as a place his family could gather to share stories and memories. Kevin found Elizabeth at the grave designated for Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Kevin placed a single white rose there. Portia gave Trina a letter from the Sorbonne. Trina told her mother and Curtis (Donnell Turner) the Sorbonne saved they’d save a place for her next semester. But Trina announced she would never go back to Paris or PCU because school and everything was meaningless now. At Wyndmere, Laura thanked Ava for displaying the photo album with pictures of Spencer. She told Laura she found the albums when she was moving out. Someone knocked on the door. Ava opened it and found Cyrus on the other side. Gregory had difficulty catching his breath. Kevin commented that Elizabeth was the last person he expected to see at Esme’s grave. A Pentonville guard led Heather (Alley Mills) to the graveside. She broke down and threw herself on her daughter’s grave. Elizabeth offered Heather comfort. Heather thanked Elizabeth as helping Nikolas (Adam Huss) keep Esme hostage kept him from killing her. Then, Elizabeth came forward with the truth and that gave Esme a fighting chance. Heather turned towards Kevin and angrily confronted him. Gregory told Finn how Tracy (Jane Eliott) helped cure his previous bout of tightening of his chest and shortness of breath. Michael told Willow why he decided not to pursue his vendetta against Nina (Cynthia Watros). Dante told Sam about Stone’s brother being the FBI agent involved in Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper) investigation of the shooting. Ava told Cyrus it was Laura’s call if she wanted him there. Laura said it was okay. Trina told Portia and Curtis how Spencer lost his future because of her and there was nothing she could do to bring him back. Heather yelled at Kevin for having a God complex and thinking he could cure Ryan (also Lindstrom) when she did everything she could to keep Esme from knowing him. Heather told Kevin it was good people like him that destroy lives. Willow assured Michael he would clear the hurdles he has with Sonny. Dante told Sonny he couldn’t share any information about a police investigation. But later he commented to Sam he thought he messed up. Josslyn told Cameron how Spencer looked up to him and he set a good example. Finn was angry his father was keeping symptoms from him. Gregory told Finn he loved him for wanting to save him but he couldn’t. Heather didn’t trust Kevin’s word that he’d look after Ace. “Do better by my grandson than you did by my daughter or there will be hell to pay” Heather warned Kevin. She kissed Esme’s marker before being led away by the guard. Cyrus told Laura he hoped one day she’d know he cared about her. Sonny called Brick (Stephen A. Smith) to ask what he found out about the traitor because that person had to be dealt with. Finn told Elizabeth how his father was getting worse and wouldn’t be able to take care of himself any longer. Cameron told Josslyn all he wanted was the people he cared about to be happy. Trina pulled her turtledove figurine out of her pocket and thought about Spencer.

Thursday

Michael (Chad Duell) came to see Sonny (Maurice Benard), commenting he hadn’t seen him since New Year’s and said the longer they waited the harder it would be. At The Metro Court dining room, Nina (Cynthia Watros) watched as Carly (Laura Wright) took a meeting with Brinson Doherty. Drew (Cameron Mathison) came to the Quartermaine gatehouse to drop off some papers for Michael. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) commented how it sounded like Drew hasn’t put Nina behind him. At Charlie’s, Lois (Rena Sofer) interrupted Finn (Michael Easton), Chase (Josh Swickward) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison) and asked whether she could steal Gregory away. Once they were alone, Finn told Chase their father was worse than he was leading them to believe. Anna (Finola Hughes) told Jagger (Alex Harrington) the FBI could either work along with her or get out of her way. Lois told Gregory she wants to make sure Chase was taken care of at the rehearsal dinner. Finn told Chase it may be time for their father to stop living alone. Drew told Willow that Nina brought this one herself. Willow asked whether the kind forgiving Drew was gone forever. Michael told Sonny he came to say he was sorry and hoped he could forgive him. Willow said Drew didn’t deserve what happened to him and didn’t want what happened to him at Pentonville to change who he was. Willow told Drew she still believed in the power of forgiveness. “Good for you, I’m not there yet,” Drew said. Nina told Martin (Michael E. Knight) she wanted to use the best features of Crimson for her new magazine. Brinson told Carly he wasn’t sure whether their brand fit with Crimson. Jagger asked Anna what information she went to jail for to hide the truth from him. “I leveraged the truth against her to keep her away from them” Michael told Sonny. Anna told Jagger about O’Neill claims about the weapons he sold. “Your turn to share information with us Agent Cates” Anna said. Jagger told Anna how the buyers of the weapons were high level crime figures. Michael explained to Sonny about blackmailing Nina and then offering Ned a deal when he threatened to come clean with the truth. Sonny asked Michael where things would stand with them if he forgave Nina. Brinson wasn’t confident in Crimson with Carly at the helm. Brinson saw Nina at the bar and told her the meeting was a complete waste of time because Crimson wasn’t Crimson without her at the helm. Lois talked with Gregory about the extended family she grew up with. Chase told Finn how Gregory would feel like his independence was being taken away from him if he was put in a long term care facility or lived with Finn. Chase told Finn there was a way to let their father keep his independence without being intrusive and could step in when they needed it. Lois told Gregory how her grandparents loved their children taking care of them. Brook Lynn offered to help Carly. Nina asked Martin whether he could help get her staff’s non compete clauses waived. “I can’t promise I’ll like or trust Nina but I will not allow her to cost me my wife or my father” Michael told Sonny. Dante asked Jagger whether he just wanted to get his guy. “And the hell with saving lives,” Dante said. Gregory came over to Finn and Chase’s table. He told Finn that with his recent health scares he was thinking it might be better to live with a doctor. Finn told Gregory it would be great him living with him. Michael told Sonny if he chose to forgive Nina it wouldn’t affect their relationship…assuming they still had one. Willow told Drew that forgiveness and gratitude had gotten her through the worst moments in her life. Drew told Willow there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for the people he loved…but Nina wasn’t one of them. Martin agreed to look for a loophole in her staff’s contracts with Crimson. Carly and Brook Lynn’s plan to get Brinson back interested in Crimson worked when they suggested the new management meant new opportunities. “Nina you’re right, the magazine industry is tougher. Good thing I’m tougher” Carly gloated before she got on the elevator. Nina told Martin she figured about what she wanted him to do. Finn and Gregory knew Violet would start asking questions if he moved in. They decided to tell her together. Drew told Willow that maybe Michael was a better man than him for letting go of his vendetta against Nina. Dante told Anna his father needed to know what was going on in order not to waste time on looking for the wrong person. Anna told Dante she convinced Jagger to do the right thing. Sonny was surprised when Jagger came to see him.

Friday

Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Michael (Chad Duell) he didn’t need to knock on the door because he lived there too. Cody (Josh Kelly), Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), Spinnelli (Bradford Anderson) and Maxie (Kristen Storms) were at The Ax Bar. Maxie happily commented to Spinelli about them being out without any kids around. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was in the kitchen looking at old photos of Spencer (Nicholas Chavez). She commented about Spencer being the love of Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) life. Brick (Stephen A Smith) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) met for drinks at The Savoy. Brick made a comment that people aren’t often who they appear to be. Jagger (Alex Harrington) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) although they were never friends, maybe they could change that. Michael asked Willow whether she wanted him to stay. Carly (Laura Wright) told Josslyn that Trina knew she missed Spencer and would want her to share her memories. Jagger showed Sonny his FBI badge and said he now went by John. He commented how they both knew Sonny deserved to be in prison for all he’s done over the years. But Jagger added he was there to save his life. Josslyn sent her post on Spencer. Drew offered to help when Carly lost another Crimson advertiser. Josslyn told Carly they were lucky to have Drew in their lives. Cody told Spinelli he was trying to help him get a date with Maxie. Jagger told Sonny the FBI knew more than he thought and it was their opinion he was the intended target of the shooting at The Metro Court. Brick noticed Dex’s (Evan Hofer) funds at The Savoy and commented he must be saving for some rainy day. Spinelli realized Cody planned to cheat at the ax toss. Josslyn told Carly she was meeting Dex at The Savoy. Willow told Michael she knew he had the best intentions but the wrong methods. Jagger told Sonny if he told him what he knew, he could end this quick and clean. “Jagger if you want my help all you gotta do is ask” Sonny said. Sonny said. Drew told Carly he expected some apprehension when there were changes at the top. He told her Trident agreed to stay with Crimson if Carly agreed to be Crimson’s Editor-In-Chief for the long haul. Drew assured Carly he’d stop Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) efforts to ruin her at Crimson. And once Michael heard this, maybe he’d reconsider coming aboard. Willow told Michael trust was built over time but she was willing to try. Brick told Jordan being there with her tonight was an unexpected pleasure. Josslyn met with Dex at The Savoy. He told her if it was too much being there with what happened to Spencer, they can leave. Jagger asked Sonny how he thinks Curtis (Donnell Turner) would feel if he didn’t do everything he could to find the person who shot him. Carly told Drew making Nina pay gave her power. She added Nina lost everything by focusing on revenge against her. “If you want me to stay on at Crimson, you’re going to have to leave Nina alone” Carly told Drew. Wiley interrupted Willow and Michael and asked whether he could show his father his four new magic tricks. Sasha had the target with the ax. Jagger told Sonny the shooter was around in his work house so he should watch his back. Dex asked Josslyn whether she really wanted to be at The Savoy. She said she wanted to be with him so they prepared to leave. Brick got a text. He watched Dex and Josslyn leave and told Jordan he had to go. Sonny told Jagger the next time he wanted to talk with him he needed to call his lawyer Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). Maxie and Spinelli had great hatchet throws. Carly told Drew she wanted to stay at Crimson not to get back at Nina but to build something great with him. Dex and Josslyn were in bed and he offered comfort and support. Brick came to Sonny’s office and told him one of their employees had an offshore bank account. “Three guesses who,” Brick said. “I only need one…Dex?” Sonny asked.
