A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Maxie (Kristen Storms) asked Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) where he thought Jason (Steve Burton) would hide out. TJ (Taj Bellows) commented to Jordan (Tanisha Harper) how Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) family must be going out of their minds with worry. “Is this yours?” Finn (Michael Easton) asked Jake (Hudson West) when he found a vape pen cap on the floor. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) called out to him when Danny entered GH. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) rushed to Cody (Josh Kelly) knowing he’s worried about Dante. John (Adam Harrington) explained to Carly (Laura Wright) they got a federal judge to sign off on a warrant knowing Jason Morgan would come to her to hide out and she’d aid and abet him. “You can show your warrant to my lawyer when she gets there. But until then, wait outside” Carly told John and Anna. Jake told Finn he took the vape from someone at school because he was worried. TJ told Jordan his concern that his and Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) child would have a biological connection to Sonny Cornithos (Maurice Benard). Cody told Sasha he didn’t call her because he knew she’d come. Sam (Kelly Monaco) was surprised to see Danny at GH. Danny admitted he came because he was worried about Dante and no one was telling him anything. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) offered to stay with Danny while Sam called Drew (Cameron Mathison) and let him know Danny was there. Anna told Carly it was her choice to either get out of the way or get arrested. Finn told Jake it would be better if his mom heard about the vape from him. Jordan asked TJ whether he’s addressed his concerns with Molly. After Alexis and Danny walked away, Sam asked Sonny to make the person responsible for Dante’s shooting to pay. Cody promised to call Sasha the next time he ever needed her. Carly left a voicemail for Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) about Jason. Anna and John didn’t find Jason in the house. Anna asked Carly about her car. Sonny received a text from Carly asking him to meet her on the roof of GH. When she came home, Jake told Elizabeth about the vape. After he left the room, Finn commented to Elizabeth he hoped he hadn’t over stepped. Elizabeth was happy her kids felt comfortable coming to him. Cornered by John and Anna and refusing to be brought in, Jason jumped off the bridge. Maxie asked Spinelli whether he regretted choosing her over Jason. Sonny met Carly on the GH roof. They disagreed over whether Jason tried to kill him and shot Dante. Alexis suggested Danny go home to be there when Scout woke up. Anna told John the history of the bridge and why Jason chose to hide out there. Before he left because he had an early morning surgery, Elizabeth told Finn she was glad he came over. Although they made up, Maxie asked a surprised Spinelli “So when can you move out?” Cody offered to get Sasha some coffee because it was going to be a long night. Sasha was surprised Cody knew her coffee order. Jordan told TJ she was proud of him. Sonny told Sam that the person on the roof was identified as Jason. “He’s alive.” Carly prayed Jason would be okay. Jason made his way to the Quartermaine boathouse where he collapsed on the floor.

Tuesday

“Has there been any change?” Laura (Genie Francis) asked Sam (Kelly Monaco), who answered Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was the same but her world was crashing down around her. Heather (Alley Mills) complained about Amy’s (Risa Dorken) nursing. Finn (Michael Easton) entered Heather’s hospital room and told her that being there wasn’t good news for her. Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) came to GH to support Kristina (Kate Mansi). “You didn’t have to knock” Carly (Laura Wright) told Drew (Cameron Mathison) when she opened the door. He answered he didn’t want to interrupt if his brother was there. Jason (Steve Burton) woke up on the floor of the Quartermaine boathouse. Finn told Heather she had a weakened heart muscle. She told him she needed to see her grandbaby. Blaze asked Kristina how her brother was doing. Carly assured Drew that Jason wasn’t there when she was helping him with the kids at the Quartermaine. Drew was relieved Carly hadn’t lied to him when she came to the Quartermaine mansion but added “But you didn’t call me.” Danny opened the boat house door and got a surprise. “Dad?” he asked, shocked when he saw Jason. Heather told Finn she was worried sick about Ace and was asking his help as a grandmother. Blaze told Kristina her mother called but she couldn’t tell by her contrite manner what was going on in her mind. Sam told Laura how she has all these thoughts swirling around in her head about Jason. Laura reminded Sam she was in shock. Sam was sure her son read The Invader article and wondered how she would help Danny process what it was saying about Jason shooting Dante. Laura told Sam to let her love for her kids ground her. Jason told Danny he needed his help, insisting he hadn’t shot Dante. “Swear on something that matters to you” Danny told Jason. “I swear on your life,” Jason said. Finn told Heather he had to run some tests. Laura appeared and told Finn she needed to have a long overdue conversation with Heather. Finn left the room. Carly told Drew how she found Jason in her house and recognized his voice when he called her name. She explained she went to get a first aid kit when she realized he’d been shot and how she told him about Bobbie (Jackie Zeman). Drew commented how the police thought Jason shot Dante. Carly insisted the police were wrong because she knew Jason. Drew commented he knew she would say that. Jason asked Danny to get a first aid kit from the kitchen or bathroom and bring it back down to the boathouse. Kristina told Molly (Kristen Vaganos) how Blaze went to see her mom. Blaze met Natalia (Eva LaRue) at Bobbie’s. Natalia exchanged small talk about the menu before admitting she’s been doing some thinking and knew things had changed. Laura told Heather that Ace had an ear infection but would be okay. She added she had a conversation with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and given her history of escaping from Pentonville and assaulting, it was decided Pentonville was no longer the place for her. She was being sent to the women’s federal penitentiary at San Quentin. Michael (Chad Duell) joined Sam in the waiting room outside the ICU. Drew told Carly it would always be her and Jason against the world. Laura told Heather as mayor she needed to put as much distance between her and Port Charles. Heather reminded Laura how they’d once been close and begged her not to separate Ace from the only connection with his mom he had left. Laura told Heather that Ace was no longer her concern as she and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) were planning to adopt Ace. Heather vowed she would die before she let Laura and Ryan Chamberlain’s brother raise her grandson. Kristina wondered whether she was setting herself up for a fall with Blaze. Natalia told B;aze she understood how the traumatic experience with Linc Brown would cause her to want to experiment with a woman. Michael told Sam she and Dante were a team. Danny returned with the first aid kit. “You came back,” Jason said. “I said I would,” Danny replied. Laura told Heather it’s already been done but she made her a promise that Ace would be loved and taken care of. “But you can never see him again” Laura told a tearful Heather then left the room. Molly told Kristina she agrees that Blaze was worth fighting for. Blaze left Bobbie’s after accusing her mother of never seeing who she really was. Drew told Carly no matter how much she loves him, or loved Jax and Sonny it would never come close to what she felt for Jason. Danny eyed Jason’s gun and his father showed him the safety switch and told him how to always have one on when handling a gun. Danny offered to help Jason with the first aid. Jason said he didn’t need any help but asked Danny to promise not to tell his mom he saw him.

Wednesday

“I know the doctor that misdiagnosed you all the years ago,” Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Marshall (Robert Gossett). Drew (Cameron Mathison) told Carly (Laura Wright) he wasn’t going to be around to see her be there for Jason (Steve Burton), especially when her heart and her mind belonged to him. “I refused to ride this out to the bitter end especially when it will hurt too much so I’m getting out now” Jason told Carly. Sonny (Maurice Benard) came to the PCPD and asked Anna (Finola Hughes) whether there was any proof Jason shot Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Danny came to the Quartermaine gatehouse and told Michael (Chad Duell) “I need a favor.” Jason checked the dressing of his bullet wound. Curtis told Marshall the doctor was Dr. Paul Braddicks, who has since retired and is living at some fancy retirement community in Westminster Maryland. He suggested they take a road trip there. Curtis asked Marshall whether he and Stella were pushing him to do something he didn’t want to do. Anna read the incident report and told Sonny that Jason was the one who called 911 and tried to save Dante. John (Adam Harrington) saw Anna speaking with Sonny in the interrogation room and asked Chase (Josh Swickward) how long had the commissioner been meeting with Sonny Cornithos. Drew told Carly the minute Jason came back they were done. He told her as a businessman, he knew how to cut his losses. Drew also released her from being editor-in-chief of Crimson saying her heart wasn’t in it. Telling Carly to take care, Drew left. Danny told Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) he needed to speak with Michael in private. After Willow went upstairs, Danny told Michael he needed to show him something. Carly came to GH. She told Sam she’s seen Jason. Selina (Lydia Look) came to The Savoy and told Curtis she had information about the person who shot him. She told him it was Jason Morgan who Curtis knows will do anything Sonny orders him to do. John asked Chase whether he was good with his superior with a known criminal. At Volonino’s Gym, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) found Drew aggressively hitting the punching bag. Danny brought Michael to the boathouse. Michael was surprised but happy to see Jason, who thanked his son for helping him but asked Danny to go because he didn’t want him involved with this. Jordan told Drew how useless she felt now that she wasn’t a cop anymore. Drew told Jordan he hoped the police found Jason and if he were innocent, he would prove it. Michael and Danny came back to the gatehouse. Michael told Willow about Jason’s bullet wound and said he needed a nurse. Selina told Curtis her theory that Sonny staged the shootings to appear the victim while he stationed his enforcer in order to expand his territory. After Selina left, Marshall told Curtis “This changes everything.” Anna encouraged Sonny not to go after Jason. Willow and Michael entered the boathouse. Willow treated Jason’s wound. He told them about the shooting and how he wasn’t the one who shot Jason. Sam told Carly if Jason shot Dante she’d never forgive him. Sonny told Anna he no longer knew who Jason was. Drew vented to Jordan about Jason and told her she couldn’t vent to him about the things that were upsetting her. Michael told Danny to go back up to the main house and promised to come by and update him in the morning. Willow gave Jason something to keep him hydrated and said she’d check on him tomorrow. “Like it or not, you’re my patient now.” Curtis told Marshall not to buy what Selina Woo was selling. Marshall said Curtis owed it to himself to chase down any lead regardless of the source. Curtis decided they should go to Maryland so Marshall could have some peace. Drew and Jordan decided to set up a meeting to see how Aurora could promote the City of Port Charles. Willow returned to the gatehouse and told Michael she was going to pack up all the juice boxes, bottle water and blankets and bring them to Jason. Sonny urged John to use that badge of his and find the bastard who shot his son. Willow returned to the boathouse with supplies. After covering Jason over with a blanket, she said “Welcome home Jason.”

Thursday

“I’m just terrified that my son’s not gonna make it,” Sonny told Lois (Rena Sofer). Sam (Kelly Monaco) told Kristina (Kate Mansi) she was scared and confused. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) came to the PCPD and met with Anna (Finola Hughes) in the interrogation room. Both agreed they didn’t think Jason (Steve Burton) was guilty of shooting Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Drew (Cameron Mathison) came to the gatehouse to see Michael (Chad Duell) because there was something he needed to hear from him. “Carly and I broke up,” Drew told Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). John (Adam Harrington) showed up at Carly’s house and said “I need your help.” Michael came to the boathouse with more supplies for Jason. Sam told Kristina if she wanted to hear Jason couldn’t have shot Dante she should speak with Carly. John told Carly if she was so certain Jason couldn’t have shot Dante, he needed her help in proving it. He commented that Dante living with Jason’s ex-wife and raising his son would be a reason for some men for the shooting. Drew told Willow he and Carly broke up because of Jason. “What happened to you?” Michael asked Jason, who changed his clothes but told Michael he needed to be wearing them when the police found him. Michael asked Jason where he’s been. Carly told John it was a ridiculous theory that Jason shot Dante out of jealousy. Sonny told Lois how he felt when Ava (Maura West) showed him the photo of Jason being on the roof of the warehouse at the time of the shooting. Drew told Willow he and Carly broke up because of Jason. “What happened to you?” Michael asked Jason, who changed his clothes but told Michael he needed to be wearing them when the police found him. Michael asked Jason where he’s been. Carly told John it was a ridiculous theory that Jason shot Dante out of jealousy. Anna told Molly how she got to know Jason more after he saved her life. But she had to stay impartial while gathering the evidence and trusting in the system. Sam was annoyed to see Danny back at GH. Jason told Michael how after the tunnel collapse in Greece he made his way to the beach but was taken prisoner by two men. He ended up in a room without windows. Jason explained he was forced to do a job by someone with leverage. Jason told Michael he became a mercenary. Sonny told Lois how Carly and Jason had married to run the business after they thought he was dead when he was in Nixon Falls. And how he tried to make his marriage work after Carly and Jason annulled theirs but Carly didn’t make it easy. Drew agreed with Willow he deserved better and would find it. John told Carly if Dante’s shooting hadn’t happened Jason might have not come back and for that, she should be grateful. Jason told Michael the job he was told to do wasn’t done and if he didn’t complete it, something bad would happen. Kristina told Sam that Danny was probably at GH because his father Jason was a suspect in Dante’s shooting. Molly told Anna about her conflict of interest because Jason was married to Sam and they shared a child together. And he also saved Kristina from Dawn of Dead. They wondered why Jason was with the sniper and didn’t stay with Dante until 911 came. Kristina told Danny that Jason wasn’t guilty until a jury said so. Drew left when Michael returned home. Willow told Michael that Carly and Drew broke up. She noticed the duffel bag and said she’d wash Jason’s clothes. Michael felt badly for dragging her into this. Willow said all they could do was see it through. Sonny told Lois how the last thing he said to Dante was to stay out of his way. Kristina suggested she and Danny stop at Eckert’s all night window for an old fashioned donut. Anna told Molly that Jason could be long gone and impossible to trace. “The more I look at the evidence, the less it makes sense to me” Anna told Molly, adding it must be something she’d not seeing. Jason had a dream about when John interrogated him and threatened with RICO charges.

Friday

Portia (Brooke Kerr) and then Stella (Vernee Watson) tried to get information on Dr. Paul Braddock. But as there was a delay, Curtis (Donnell Turner) went for physical therapy. Finn (Michael Easton) proofread Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) copy when Portia entered Dr. Finn’s office with Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) test results. Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) the followup piece on the shooting was a swear job on Sonny (Maurice Benard). Nina worried Sonny would think since she was publisher of The Invader, she had something to do with it. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) read the article and said she’d break her kneecap. Portia interrupted Diane and Robert (Tristan Rogers). With Laura (Genie Francis) present, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) tried to evaluate Heather, who said she couldn’t concentrate because he reminded him about Ryan (also Lindstrom). Portia announced that Heather Webber wasn’t going away. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) refused to help Dex (Evan Hofer) pack to leave Port Charles saying she needed him as much as she needed her family. They started kissing and Dex picked her up and led her to his bedroom. Alexis suggested Nina act as editor herself knowing she couldn’t because she didn’t have experience. When Gregory entered with his copy, Nina grabbed it so she wouldn’t be blindsided like with the last article. Nina criticized the typos and the fact it wasn’t electronically submitted. It was diagnosed that Heather had cobalt poisoning. Laura learned she was Heather’s medical proxy. Curtis had his physical therapy. Portia said if they failed to treat Heather Webber and perform the hip replacement they could be opening up GH for a negligence investigation. Marshall told Curtis about how Dr. Braddock recommended free shock treatment. Heather learned about her cobalt poisoning and how she needed a hip replacement. Since she was her medical proxy, Heather asked Laura’s advice. “I think you should do it,” Laura told Heather. Gregory told Finn he was taking him up on his offer to type his article. Diane stormed into Alexis’ office and read out loud a portion of the article which referred to her as the red-headed mob lawyer. Stella asked Kevin whether he knew Dr. Braddock. When Nina came to Dex’s apartment, Josslyn said “Nina, looking for more backs to stab? Sorry, I’m fresh out.” Stella told Curtis and Marshall that Dr. Braddock died in December but the answers they were looking for were right there in the hospital. Laura showed Heather photos of Ace and told her it wasn’t too late to change. Nina explained she wasn’t responsible for the article. Dex commented that Sonny doesn’t read newspapers and gets his news other ways. Nina noticed Dex’s packed bag and commented that Dex broke up with Sonny so Josslyn was next. Nina taunted Josslyn with the reveal that she caught Dex at GH outside Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hospital room. Finn called a neurologist colleague and told him about Gregory’s ALS. Diane asked Alexis to come work with her and told her friend she may be able to get it overturned so Alexis could practice law again. Heather signed the consent for the hip replacement. She and Laura had been getting along until Heather asked how Kevin was in bed, commenting she was curious whether he was anything like his brother. Curtis and Marshall met with Kevin in Dr. Collins’ office. Kevin told Marshall the reason he was misdiagnosed was because he was poor, young, angry and black.
