A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Kristina (Kate Mansi) got defensive, saying TJ (Taj Bellows) thought she didn’t care about this baby enough while Alexis (Nancy Grahan) thought she cared too much. Alexis said Kristina not understanding why everyone was concerned was cause enough. Natalia (Eva LaRue) talked with Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) about building her brand. Sam (Kelly Monaco) assured Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) he didn’t need to resign from the police force. Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Ava (Maura West) he was done with Carly (Laura Wright) and her talking down to him and acting like she owned the place. “To Hell with Carly Corinthos” Sonny said. “Don’t you mean Carly Spencer?” Ava asked. She fed into Sonny’s rage by saying Carly doesn’t see he’s changed. Sonny told Ava he’s going to the hospital to get his blood levels drawn so he could throw the results in Sonny’s face. “I can’t tell you how long I’ve been waiting until you told me you were ready to give up the badge” Sam told Dante. Anna (Finola Hughes) told Calvin she will be moving into a new apartment. She told him she couldn’t trust moving her valuable old records to anyone but her. Kristina asked Alexis whether she thought TJ and Molly would be policing any other surrogate but her. Natalia complained about Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) priorities and the guitar soloist on Blaze’s single as well as Allison’s brother. Blaze told her mother she had to start letting her brother love his own life. Natalia told Blaze she knew what her brother wanted. Alexis told Kristina that TJ and Molly were just being anxious. She hugged her daughter and told her it was really cool she was bringing this baby into the world without any agenda but love. “If you were telling me you were willing to give up your badge, I wouldn’t pretend to be anything but grateful” Sam told Dante. After thinking about it, Sonny told Ava he didn’t need Carly’s approval. He decided to go out, telling Ava he needed some time alone. Diane (Carolyn Henessy) arrived at Alexis’ house and they discussed strategy for her case. Alexis commented she may have a legal case right over her own roof. Blaze told Kristina about her recent disagreement with her mother. Sonny sat down on the park bench and joined Natalia. Sonny entered Anna’s office and put his letter of resignation on her desk. He told her about his conversation with Sonny about Dex (Evan Hofer) joining the police force. Sonny told Natalia about his ex and the problems he’s been having with her. Alexis told Diane how Kristina was referring to the baby as hers, which could become a problem for her family. Molly came to see Kristina not liking how they left things this morning. Molly told Kristina she talked with TJ and told him he had to stop micromanaging her. “I appreciate you talking to TJ. Just to be clear, does that mean I don’t have to disown my dad?” Kristina asked. Sonny asked Natalia to have a drink with him. Anna explained to Dante how because of how Sonny was there for Robin (Kimberly McCullough), she thought she owed him debt. Anna told Dante the badge protected him from Sonny so she didn’t think he could afford to be without it. Sonny brought Natalia home and introduced her to Ava. He asked Ava to pour him and Natalia a glass of the twenty-five year old scotch he’s been saving. Before leaving, Molly thanked Blaze for being there for her sister. Diane suggested Alexis stayed out of it because in the worst case scenario she could lose the daughter who loses the child. Anna told Dante staying a cop is the only safe spot for him. Sonny suggested Ava go make some calls. Then, he and Natalia talked about the penthouse needing redecorating and could use a woman’s touch. When Natalia asked what about Ava, Sonny said things weren’t like that between them as Ava eavesdropped.

Tuesday

At The Metro Court dining room, Sonny (Maurice Benard) glanced at Nina (Cynthia Watros) having a meal with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). He thanked Jordan (Tanisha Harper) for meeting with him and said he wanted to make a donation to the City of Port Charles. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) met Drew (Cameron Mathison) at The Metro Court bar and told him she’d be honored to be the spokesperson for A New Tomorrow Institute. Dex (Evan Hofer) and some of the other cadets carried boxes into Anna’s (Finola Hughes) new apartment. Laura (Genie Francis) visited Heather (Alley Mills) at Pentonville. Heather said prison wouldn’t be too bad if she could see her grandson. Carly (Laura Wright) came to Corinthos COffee warehouse and told Jason (Steve Burton) “It’s Sonny…he’s in trouble.” Sonny explained to Jordan the fact their children were having a child together meant a lot to him plus as deputy mayor, she knew where his money was best needed. Nina told Valentin how Willow seemed to be coming around. Drew didn’t want Willow to feel obligated because he saved her life. Calvin explained to Anna having the cadets carry her boxes up three flights of stairs gave them a cardiovascular workout. Carly told Jason what happened when she thought Sonny was taking his medication. Laura told Heather a story about Ace and gave her a photo of him. Heather told Laura she can’t remember why she thought stabbing and killing those people would help Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl). Sonny told Jordan he wanted to help his community. Drew told Willow she didn’t have to do it if it compromised her privacy. Valentin told Nina he didn’t regret his investment in The Invader. “You know me, I’ll do whatever it takes to get what I want” Valentin told Nina. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Anna she liked her new place. “Maybe Sonny’s pride is wounded and he’s got nowhere to put his anger” Carly told Jason. Anna told Felicia how she and Valentin bumped into each other at The Metro Court Bar. There was a knock on the door and Anna answered it. It was a flower delivery congratulating her on her new apartment and adding he was looking forward to dinner. Willow told Drew she quit her job at the hospital because she wanted to take full advantage of being a mother to Wiley and Amelia. Nina told Valentin that Drew was a savvy businessman. Laura explained to Heather her cobalt poisoning made her do what she did., adding she’s seeing things more clearly because she was outside the illness. Carly and Jason discussed who could get Sonny to get his blood levels checked to see whether his medication needed adjustment. They decided on Stella Henry (Vernee Watson). Just then, John (Adam Harrington) entered. He announced he was there on official business because he had questions for Mr. Morgan. Laura assured Heather she was capable of love. Heather asked Laura whether she thought she could be a good mother if she hadn’t gotten cobalt poisoning. Anna thought about her conversation with Jason when Felicia asked why she was having dinner with Valentin. Anna said she missed him. Nina told Valentin she and Drew reached a quid pro quo. Nina approached Drew and Willow at the bar. Willow told Nina she accepted the position. Drew suggested Crimson did a story on Willow and the institute. Jason told Carly she didn’t have to call Diane (Carloyn Hennesy). Carly pretends to leave but hides so she can listen to John and Jason’s conversation. “We need to talk about Pikeman,” John told Jason. Felicia asked Anna whether she thought this dinner with Valentin was a good idea. Nina told Willow the Crimson rep would be in touch with her. Nina returned to Valentin’s table and told him about the interview saying if Drew could get her closer to her daughter, she could put up with him forever. Sonny greeted Drew then left The Metro Court. Drew said he had something to run by Jordan. Heather told Laura the guilt she felt was part of the punishment for all her wrongdoing. Laura told Heather it was a good thing she was taking responsibility for her actions. Laura gave Heather her word she’d give Ace a good life. Drew told Jordan about his conversation with the congressman. Drew glanced at Nina and told Jordan getting a meeting with the congressman was complicated. Felicia told Anna she hoped she knew what she was doing. Carly listened as John talked about Sonny, Brennan and Pikeman. Sonny watched as Dex and the cadets jogged past him.

Wednesday

Anna (Finola Hughes) invited Jason (Steve Burton) in when he told her “Agent Cates came to see me about Pikeman.” Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told Sam (Kelly Monaco) he didn’t resign. Laura (Genie Francis) told Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) she was troubled by her visit with Heather (Alley Mills). Chase (Josh Swickward) came to see Finn (Michael Easton) at his office at GH. “That’s Jagger Cates” Lois (Rena Sofer) said when Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) pointed out the FBI agent who tried to question Danny without Sam present. “Well well well…this day just got better” Jack (Charles Mesure) said when he saw Carly (Laura Wright) had come to see her. Lois came over to say hi to Jagger. John greeted Lois and apologized to Brook Lynn for his earlier actions. Laura told Kevin how conflicted she felt having sympathy for a serial killer. Sam was disappointed when Dante explained the reasons why he didn’t resign. “I should have known better than to get my hopes up” Sam told Dante. Anna told Jason she needed to know the evidence the FBI was holding over him and Carly. Meanwhile, Carly questioned Jack about Pikeman. Sam told Dante she got a huge relief and imagined what their life could look like if he weren’t a cop. Chase worried about telling Gregory (Gregory Harrison) he should take it easy the night before the wedding. Jack told Carly his arrest was purely political and unjust. He asked Carly to distract him from his misery by telling him about her. Brook Lynn suggested Lois and Jack have coffee and catch up while she went to meet Chase. Jason told Anna the FBI had a recording of Carly saying she was head of the Corinthos organization from when they thought Sonny (Maurice Benard) was dead. “Will you still stay with me if I’m a cop?” Dante asked Sam. Laura asked Kevin whether it’s right for Heather to pay for actions brought on by her disease. Finn told Chase he lost precious time with their father…time he’d never get back. Jason told Anna that Carly could never know what the FBI had on her because she’d do something crazy and wind up sending herself to prison. Jack asked Carly about Jason Morgan. Jason told Anna because he and Sonny pulled her into their world it was up to her to get him out. Carly told Jack about her friendship with John Cates. “Do you have a problem with John Cates being in town?” Carly asked Jack. John told Lois about his son Stone. Kevin told Laura he believed Heather deserved a shot at having a better life but not be absolved for everything she’s done. When Kevin went to take a call, Valentin approached Laura. Finn agreed to talk with Gregory. Sam told Dante she would just have to learn to live with the fear. Dante apologized for giving Sam the false hope he was going to resign. Dante promised Sam he’d never take her for granted for what she was sacrificing. Brook Lynn came to see Chase at the PCPD and admitted she was a total wreck with their upcoming wedding. Lois told John being back in Port Charles was a constant reminder of what her life was and what it could have been, adding different wasn’t necessarily bad. Valentin told Laura how Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) was doing back in school in Switzerland. Laura was happy to hear her granddaughter was doing well but wondered whether she’d ever be able to put what happened behind her. Jason told Anna he had no intention of taking orders from John Cates or the FBI for the rest of his life. “I feel so lucky to have you,” Sam said. “I don’t know what I would have done if I’d lost you” Sam told Dante. Finn searched on his cell phone for an AA meeting near him. Chase and Brook Lynn went into the interrogation room to kiss. Anna told Jason that Valentin inviting her out to dinner will be the perfect opportunity to work him. “I think if I play it right, he could lead us to whoever is in charge with Pikeman” Anna told Jason. Valentin told Laura he had a business venture that would take him to Switzerland more and he could visit Scarlett more. “Something for ELQ?” Laura asked. “Something for ELQ” Valentin answered. After Lois left, John took a call about Brennan having a visitor. “What’s Carly Spencer doing there?” John wondered. After Carly left, Jack said “Watch out Valentin.”

Thursday

Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickward) prepared to tell Gregory (Gregory Harrison) he shouldn’t come to the wedding. Laura (Genie Francis) came to see Alexis (Nancy Grahan). At The Metro Court, Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Ava (Maura West) he moved on from the idea of donating an art piece to the city. Natalia (Eva LaRue) came to her daughter’s apartment and told Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) she wanted to find out what she planned to wear to the Quartermaine wedding so their outfits wouldn’t clash. “Jason…where’s Danny?” Sam (Kelly Monaco) asked Jason (Steve Burton) when she arrived at Corinthos Coffee warehouse. Laura explains she went to see Heather (Alley Mills) at Pentonville and the changes in Heather since the hip replacement are striking. “Were you able to find anything that could help her?” Laura asked. “Actually I have,” Alexis answered. Gregory told Finn and Chase that as much as he wants to go, he thinks he should sit out the rehearsal dinner and conserve his energy for the wedding. Blaze told Natalia she was taking her girlfriend Kristina (Kate Mansi) to the wedding. Natalia said she didn’t think it wise Blaze take Kristina to such a public function. Sam explained to Jason how Danny missed an appointment with his counselor and was marked absent for his first period class. Plus, she found his phone hidden under a pile of clothes in his room. “I haven’t seen Danny. But don’t you see, you’re training him to lie to you” Jason told Sam. She took offense to Jason’s assumption. Sam told Jason how Danny was just like him and how she was and chases danger. Jason told Sam how he saw Danny as a kid who just wanted freedom. Sam reminded Jason he didn’t know anything about raising a teenager. She noticed his full arm tattoo and expressed a fear Danny would want the same. Jason told Sam that her real fear was she couldn’t control Danny. Alexis told Laura getting Heather’s conviction overturned would be difficult. Laura told Alexis she’d get Heather’s court transcripts for her to review. Natalia reminded her daughter she had to think of herself as a brand. Sure, Allison could go to any wedding but not Blaze. After Ava left the table, Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) said to Sonny “I hope you’re not bringing that one to the wedding.” Finn left the apartment when Gregory reminded him he couldn’t lecture him on proper wedding etiquette when he didn’t come to his and Jackie’s (Kim Delaney) rehearsal dinner. Sam received a call from Danny’s school and learned the counselor got the appointment time wrong and the first period class teacher was late entering the information into the computer. Sam was surprised when Jason said he didn’t know where Sonny was. Blaze told Natalia she wouldn’t use Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) wedding as a PR stunt. Finn came to see Alexis and told him what happened with Gregory. “If I ever thought he was going to forgive me, this morning proved otherwise” Finn told Alexis. Sonny told Ava she wasn’t going to the wedding as his plus one. Gregory told Chase presiding over his wedding was the greatest honor of his life. Blaze told Natalia nothing she and Kristina have done has been a threat to her career. “I just know you made a decision. Do whatever suits you and we’ll see which one of us is right” Natalia told her daughter before she left. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) came to Laura’s office to tell her about the renewal project. But first wanted to ask her about the phone call she overheard about Heather Webber. Jason told Sam how he’s been working as an undercover informant for the FBI. And although the undercover portion was over, his connection was not. Sonny reminded Ava the Falconieris had long memories and if she showed up to the wedding it would disrespect Connie’s memory. Ava threatened to move out of his place. Sonny told Ava she could move out if she wanted, adding he’d buy her a place or Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) could stay with him. Ava told Sonny she could take care of her daughter as she always had then left The Metro Court. Laura explained to Jordan about Heather’s cobalt poisoning. Jason told Sam he didn’t choose to stay away from his family. Alexis said they’d find Finn a meeting to go to and also had an idea regarding the Gregory situation. Jordan advised Laura not to risk political suicide by getting involved with Heather’s case. Natalia joined Sonny at his table at The Metro Court dining room. Alexis called Gregory and asked whether she could come over to go over strategy for her hearing tomorrow. After leaving the Corinthos Coffee warehouse, Sam made a call asking for someone’s help.

Friday

Ava (Maura West) picked up Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) prescription pill bottle and began scratching off information on the label. Sonny and Natalia (Eva LaRue) enjoyed each other’s company as they finished dinner at The Metro Court and had their coffee. Dex (Evan Hofer) came to the police commissioner’s office. Anna (Finola Hughes) asked Dex “Have you had any interaction with Detective Falconieri?” Sam (Kelly Monaco) met with Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) in the park and told him that Jason (Steve Burton) was an FBI informant. John (Adam Harrington) came to the warehouse of Corinthos Coffee and asked Jason “Why was Carly visiting the former FBI director in Pentonville? What did you tell her?” John demanded to know what Jason said to Carly and why she drove out to Pentonville. “I only took the agreement to protect Carly…why would I give her information that put her at risk?!” Sonny told Natalia how Ava got angry and stormed out. He suggested they sip their coffee really slowly to give Ava time to pack if she chose to do so. Ava lied to the pharmacist that she and her husband (Sonny) were taking an extended vacation and wanted to ensure her husband had enough medication. Anna asked Dex whether he had any reservations that Dante would act on his father’s behalf. The doctor told Ava her husband had four refills left. Ava questioned what would happen if a patient took less than the prescribed dosage of the medication. Sonny told Natalia how Ava wanted to go to a wedding he couldn’t take her too. John told Jason to ask Carly why she went to see Jack Brennan. He told Jason it was in both of their best interests to find out before leaving the warehouse. Dex told Anna he didn’t think Dante would look the other way if Sonny committed a crime but did believe Dante only saw what he wanted. After Dex left, Anna received a call and told the person on the other end she’d be right over. Dante remembered when he was in the hospital Sonny and Jason told him about Jason working as an informant for the FBI. Sonny asked Natalia to go to the wedding as his plus one. Natalia accepted then left as she needed to come up with a dress, shoes and somehow talk her way into a hair appointment. Ava asked the pharmacist whether her husband could become aggressive or violent if he didn’t take the prescribed dosage. She thanked him for answering her questions before leaving. When she arrived at the warehouse of Corinthos Coffee, Jason told Anna about Carly (Laura Wright) going to visit Carly. Jason realized Carly would only do it if she thought she was helping him. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) ran into Dex at the park and decided to have a race. Jason told Anna his belief Carly hid somewhere to eavesdrop while he and John talked. Anna commented that Carly may have made their job harder. Sam told Dante she wanted them to help Jason. “Danny can’t lose his father again,” Sam said. When Sonny returned home, Ava told him she thought it was time she and Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) moved out. Josslyn told Dex she’s decided to change her major to environmental science. Sonny told Ava he’d help her get a place if she wanted to get a place but added he liked having her and Avery there. Sam explained she wanted to make amends to Jason for believing he shot Dante. “We need to find out exactly what the FBI has on Jason,” Sam told Dante. Anna told Jason that Brennan was very smart and would find his target then make his move. Josslyn thanked Dex then left. Ava wasn’t happy to learn Sonny was taking Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mother Natalia to the wedding. Jason told Anna they had to find a way to stop Carly from helping him. “Well if you can’t question her, I have to talk to her myself” Anna told Jason.
