A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Anna (Finola Hughes) came to see Carly (Laura Wright) at The Metro Court. “Can you explain to me why you went to see Jack Brennan in Pentonville?” Anna asked Carly. Michael (Chad Duell) commented to Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) he was surprised she took the cook job “Because of you and me.” Tracy (Jane Eliott) thought she was being stood up until Gregory (Gregory Harrison) entered the Quartermaine stables. Trina (Tabyana Ali) and Stella (Vernee Watson) were at the Jerome Gallery stuffing envelopes. Trina told Stella what she was doing was working. “Nina…what are you doing here?” Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) asked when she entered Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) office and found Nina (Cynthia Watros) there. Drew asked Nina to sit in on him and Willow going over the PSA copy. “I’m glad to see you both so happy, but I’m about to be a buzzkill” Jordan (Tanisha Harper). Carly commented that the FBI’s eyes must be on Brennan if Anna knew she went to Pentonville. Cody (Josh Kelly) suggested Gregory trade out his cane for a saddle so he and Tracy could go riding and watch the sunset. “Maybe next time,” Gregory said. Anna was annoyed that Carly told Brennan the FBI was interested in his connection to Pikeman. “Don’t you know first hand how law enforcement works when you were married to the mob?” Anna asked. Drew told Willow he thought Nina’s knowledge could be helpful if they wanted to knock Willow’s first PSA out of the park. Cody gave Gregory some good advice on never stopping to reach for the brass ring. Sasha assured Michael she made peace with leaving Deception and was glad to take the cook position because she liked it there. It helped her longing to be part of a family. Sasha hoped she hadn’t made things awkward between Michael and Willow by accepting the cook position. Michael assured Sasha he and Willow trusted her and they were good. Cody walked in as Sasha was telling Michael she aspired to have what he and Willow had. Stella and Trina weren’t happy to learn Laura (Genie Francis) was advocating for Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) case to be reopened due to her cobalt poisoning. Drew praised Willow’s first take of the PSA. Nina suggested that Willow show she was a success story for surviving cancer and was happy and thriving. Willow took Nina’s note that it wouldn’t hurt to smile more. Anna told Carly she may have compromised an ongoing investigation. “Why don’t you try to be as smart as you think you are and stay the hell away from Jack Brennan” Anna ordered Carly then left. But in typical Carly fashion, she called to order a car for tomorrow because she wanted to go to Pentonville. “It’s nice that you still go to visit your friends at Pentonville” Nina said as she overheard. Gregory told Tracy he needed her to stand in for him at the rehearsal dinner. Willow commented that Drew and Nina planned for all of this (the PSA). After Sasha left, Michael questioned Cody about his plans for Sasha and all her awesomeness. “Are you saying that Laura is asking for Heather to be set free?” Trina asked Jordan. Cody told Michael he and Sasha were friends. Michael told Cody he hoped he was serious about being good to her. “I’ll be as good to her as she’ll let me be,” Cody told Michael. Drew told Willow that maybe Nina’s learned her lesson. And although he couldn’t be sure, he was willing to give her a chance. But Drew understood letting Nina in was a much bigger risk for Willow. Willow told Drew she’s been keeping something from him about his brother. Nina apologized for taking a dig at Carly then told her “You were right about Sonny.” Gregory told Tracy the dress code for Coney Island “Think mermaid.” Stella understood Heather’s mental and physical pain could have caused her actions. “What about her victims?!” Trina demanded. Willow told Drew how she and Michael helped Jason (Steve Burton) when they found him wounded in the boathouse. Drew understood because that’s who Willow is. He assured her secret was safe with him. Carly told Nina she was looking back. Anna came to the warehouse at Corinthos Coffee and called out for Jason. “You were right,” Anna said.

Tuesday

Jason (Steve Burton) found Anna (Finola Hughes) waiting in his office at the warehouse at Corinthos Coffee. “You talk to Carly?” Jason asked. “Yeah…we’ve got problems” Anna answered. The pharmacist called Valentin (James Patrick) and told him their deal was off because Sonny Cornithos’ (Maurice Benard) was on to them. Gregory (Gregory Harrison) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) since she was babysitting him he might as well make himself useful. Anna told Jason it all depended on whether he could handle Carly before she blew their investigation and got herself sent to prison. “The way you have it laid out, this proposal may not even get off the ground” Jordan (Tanisha Harper) told Drew (Cameron Mathison). Alexis told Gregory how Finn (Michael Easton) didn’t want to waste any of the time they had left. Gregory admitted he took a cheap shot at Finn by bringing up his son’s affair with Jackie (Kim Delaney). Valentin told the pharmacist to stay the course and continue giving Sonny the lower dosage of medication, adding he’d identify and deal with the so-called wife as he noticed Nina (Cynthia Watros) enter The Metro Court dining room. Anna and Jason discussed how they could use Carly’s interference to their advantage. Valentin greeted Nina and asked whether she’d reconciled with Sonny. Nina answered she hadn’t and told him how Ava (Maura West) was worming her way into Sonny’s life. “Ava, spare a few moments for a friend” Nina asked a surprised Ava when she showed up at the Jerome Gallery. Jordan gave Drew great suggestions for a workable rail line and a ferry which would bring federal funding into Port Charles. “What are we celebrating?” the congressman asked when he entered Drew’s office. Anna and Jason decided to keep their investigations from John (Adam Harrington). “You ruined your relationship with Sonny with your lies” Ava told Nina, who said she’d finally accepted that she and Sonny were over for good. “You expect me to believe you are fine with your marriage to Sonny being over” Ava said. Nina told Ava their friendship was over and said to Ava she hoped it was worth it. After Jordan left, the congressman asked Drew “Why do you think I should get into bed with a convicted criminal?” Danny showed up at the warehouse of Corinthos Coffee to see Jason. When Anna arrived at the dining room of The Metro Court, Valentin said she was beautiful and said she still made him nervous. Anna told Valentin about Sonny’s former foot soldier Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) joining the police academy. Alexis encouraged Gregory to apologize to Finn and leave what’s in the past in the past. John interrupted Ava and Nina. Before Nina left, she warned Agent Cates to be weary of the gallery owner because she’d take him for all he was worth. John told Ava he was there to talk about Sonny. Danny told Jason that Uri was waiting outside. He added he had a message from Monica (Leslie Charleson). Drew told the congressman they could leave his name out of the project and he’d delegate everything to his nephew Michael (Chad Duell). The congressman said fun fact you could be a convicted felon and still run for the Senate. “Grandma needs you to represent her at Brook Lynn’s wedding” Danny told Jason. Anna told Valentin he believed he was always smarter than everyone else. Valentin told Anna he makes sure the things he does doesn’t hurt what he cares about. John asked Ava “What’s your endgame?” asking whether her plan was walking off with Sonny’s organization. John told Ava she was now a person of interest to the FBI so if she got the feeling she was being watched, she was. The congressman suggested Drew was perfect to run for office. Gregory gave Alexis helpful notes for her opening statement. “As far as I’m concerned, you have all the elements to triumph. All except one” Gregory told Alexis. He said Alexis needed luck and let her borrow his good luck charm: His 7th debate medal. The congressman told Drew he’d endorse him and suggested ”You might want to change your name to Quartermaine.” John showed proof he had Ava under surveillance. He told her he’d investigated whoever he wanted until this case was solved. Jason agreed to attend the wedding then said he was taking Danny home.

Wednesday

Tracy (Jane Eliott) took a rare moment alone with Ned (Wally Kurth) and told him she was sorry she wasn’t there for his wedding to Lois (Rena Sofer). “It was my loss,” Tracy said. “You’re here now” Ned said and hugged his mother. Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) her wedding gift will be the wedding going off without a hitch. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) greeted Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brooke Kerr). Chase (Josh Swickward) told Finn all eyes will be on Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Lois told Brook Lynn she should thank herself for waiting for what she wanted and fighting to keep it. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) greeted Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). Michael (Chad Duell) tried to avoid a woman from the old neighborhood. A young man named Gio who was performing at the wedding asked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) whether she knew whether Sonny Cornithos was attending. Sonny introduced Natalia (Eva LaRue) to Olivia. After Olivia walked away to see the reception details, Natalia again thanked Sonny for including her. Lois commented how this would be the last time doing Brook Lynn’s hair before she is a married woman. Finn told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) how he didn’t know if his father would be okay for the wedding. But Violet (Jophelle Love) said her grandfather looked debonair. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) told Anna (Finola Hughes) how nervous he was being Maxie’s (Kristen Storms) date and assured her he’d do right by her. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Jordan decided to sit together at the wedding. While Blaze was surprised, Kristina beamed seeing her father with Natalia. Lois told Brook Lynn she was proud of being her mother. Kristina asked Sonny to turn up the charm with Blaze’s mother. Natalia told Blaze she was glad they could celebrate the happy day together. Being at the wedding brought back memories of her wedding to Curtis for Portia. Tracy told Brook Lynn she was spectacular and how she was happy for her for finding Chase who loved her for all she was. Chase thanked Gregory for giving him a childhood full of love and support. Tracy gave Brook Lynn a bracelet that belonged to Lila (Anna Lee) and said her granddaughter was a lot like Lila. Tracy told Brook Lynn she was grateful for her. Spinelli greeted Jason (Steve Burton) with a hug. Jason apologized for not reaching out to his friend earlier. While Gregory, Elizabeth and Violet went inside the church, Finn told Chase he was proud to stand up for him. Sonny introduced Dante to Natalia and explained his coldness towards his other son Michael. Tracy sat down next to Gregory at the church and assured him he’ll do fine presiding over the wedding. Jason explained to onlookers he was at the wedding because Monica (Leslie Charleson) asked him. Ned and Lois shared a proud parent moment before the wedding began. As Gio played the violin, Lois and Dante walked in first, followed by Willow, Maxie and flower girl Violet. Ned and Brook Lynn were emotional. The doors opened to the wedding march and Ned and Brook Lynn walked down the aisle. Gregory began the ceremony but soon struggled saying the words.

Thursday

Gregory (Gregory Harrison) struggled to get through presiding over Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) wedding. “Dad, are you okay?” Finn (Micahel Easton) asked. “Give him a minute,” Chase said. Tracy (Jane Eliott) came up to the altar. “Can you breathe?” Tracy asked. Violet (Jophelle Love) came up to the altar and gave her grandfather a slip of paper. “We can wait, nobody minds,” Tracy assured. After Gregory could breathe again, he continued with the ceremony. Gregory said “True love can’t be hidden.” Chase told his father he had the vows memorized and said them to Brook Lynn. Then, she said her vows. “Best man, do you have the rings?” Gregory asked Finn, who handed him the wedding rings. Chase placed the ring on Brook Lynn’s finger. Chase commented how instead of it felt like being struck by lighting when he met Brook Lynn, he was struck by the bottle she hit him with which is still in evidence lockup. He vowed to bring the strength she brings to their relationship to their marriage and children. Gregory paused but assured him was okay, just incredibly grateful. Brook Lynn placed the ring on Chase’s finger. She talked about the list she made for herself of what she wanted in the man she married. Chase checked off all the boxes and was a good man who made the world a safer place when he left the house and her safer when he returned home. Gregory pronounced them husband and wife. Chase thanked Gregory for giving him the best wedding. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) gave Leo a bag of sunflower seeds. Violet asked Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) to take her to the reception so she could prepare for her surprise. Maxie (Kristen Storms) commented that the sun failed its job by providing brighter natural light. Chase and Brook Lynn talked about renewing their vows in ten or fifteen years. Gregory told Tracy he often wondered what life would have been like had he met her when he was in his twenties or thirties. Guests threw sunflower seeds as Chase and Brook Lynn exited the church. Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Jason (Steve Burton) had an awkward run in. Wedding pictures were taken. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Portia (Brooke Kerr) wondered who and why they were invited to the wedding. Sonny (Maurice Benard) introduced Natalia (Eva LaRue) to violinist Gio. Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) touched up their makeup in the ladies room and talked about their mothers. Anna (Finola Hughes) helped Gloria Cerillo (Ellen Travolta) with her contact lens. Carmine Cerillo was happy to see Sonny, commenting how when he was young he spent a lot of time at their house. Gloria interrupted Jason and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) conversation and asked Jason whether he ever became a doctor. Maxie and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) shared a kiss. Olivia announced they were serving specialty drink The Brook Lynn Chaser that was a hit at the bachelorette party. Carmine showed Finn a skin rash and Finn recommended he see a dermatology friend. Sam (Kelly Monaco) told Spinelli she needed The Jackal to investigate the FBI. With Ned (Wally Kurth) accompanying on the guitar, Violet sang Chase and Brook Lynn a song he wrote. Recovery addict Finn mistakenly drank a glass.

Friday

Anna (Finola Hughes) asked Sam (Kelly Monaco) how the PI business was going. Jason (Steve Burton) congratulated Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) on her marriage. Lois (Rena Sofer) took a picture of Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Jordan (Tanisha Harper). Natalia (Eva LaRue) told Gloria (Ellen Travolta) and Carmine as a guest, Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) wouldn’t be performing at the wedding. Noticing the look on his face, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) asked Finn (Michael Easton) whether anything was wrong. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Cody (Josh Kelly) with preparing the food for the afterparty, she wasn’t able to attend the wedding. She brought a picnic basket of leftovers, including a good bottle of wine. Anna (Finola Hughes) tried to get Jason to forget Cates, Brennan and Pikeman and enjoy the festivities. At Pentonville, Jack was making a homemade shiv. Cody told Sasha they couldn’t waste the good bottle of wine. Elizabeth thought Finn was worried about what happened with Gregory (Gregory Harrison) earlier and assured his father was okay. Jack had to fight another inmate who demanded it when he saw Brennan hiding the weapon. Anna reminded Jason that even though he hated mingling, there were alot of people who missed him. She refused to give Sonny (Maurice Benard) any information about how Cadet Heller was doing at the police academy. Maxie (Kristen Storms) gave a toast to Brook Lynn. Gio talked with Dex about his military service. Sonny asked Lois to stop Gio from talking with Dex. Cody told Sasha even if he could get some woman to marry him, he could never afford to give her the fancy wedding of her dreams. Sam told Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) that Jason was working for the FBI and they needed to find out what they had on him. Chase and Brook Lynn took to the dance floor for the first dance as a married couple. Then, Chase danced with Lois and Brook Lynn danced with Ned (Wally Kurth). Chase asked Gloria to dance and Brook Lynn then danced with Gregory. After she said Jason would do the same for them, Spinelli told Sam he was in for finding out what the FBI had on Jason. “The bride gets to pick who she wants to dance with,” Brook Lynn said. “It would be my honor,” Sonny replied. Chase asked Violet (Jophelle Love) to dance. Sasha told Cody that the wedding day was just one day but the marriage and the chance to go old with your best friend lasts a lifetime. Drew told Jordan how the congressman gave him a lot to think about and they would talk. Ned convinces Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) to forget checking a reception detail and dance with him. Violet caught the bouquet. Dex brought Gloria a glass of water. He smiled as Sonny watched when Gloria told Lois she should introduce Heller to a cousin. Jack stabbed himself and put the shiv in the hand of the prisoner he had knocked out. Cody told Sasha he never thought about the long term like marriage. He pulled out a radio and asked Sasha to dance. “You’re going to have the best life” Maxie said, telling Brook Lynn she deserved it. Dex found Carmine’s hearing aid on the floor and said he’d give it back to him. Jason followed when he saw Sonny go after Dex. Ceurillo relative Patty convinced Dante and Jordan to attend the afterparty. Sonny warned Dex he wouldn’t be breathing much longer if he didn’t stay away from him and his. “I’m not your enemy” Dex told Sonny who punched him. Chase and Brook Lynn came to the honeymoon suite. He told Brook Lynn they’d have a great wedding night followed by a great honeymoon in Florence. Natalia looked for Sonny while Blaze and Kristina planned to get another piece of cake and take it up to Blaze’s room. Anna received a call that Brennan was taken to GH. Sonny continued plummeting Dex until he was stopped by Jason. Kristina dropped her plate of wedding cake in shock when she overheard her dad vowing to kill both Dex and Jason.
