Monday

General Hospital airs encore episode: Original airdate Thursday, October 5, 2023

“So this is where you’ve been hiding out?” Anna asked. “I haven’t been hiding out. I’ve been trying to make a home for us” Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) asked. “Papa, why is the door opened?” Charlotte asked when she entered, not happy to see Anna (Finola Hughes). At GH, Finn (Michael Easton) flushed out Chase’s (Josh Swickward) eyes after his brother was accidentally sprayed with pepper spray. Afterwards, Finn ran into Tracy (Jane Eliott) who told him she was reinstated back on the hospital board. Trina (Tabyana Ali) gushed about the private tour of the archives of The Met Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) arranged for her. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) found Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) bucket list in a file folder with an article he wanted her to read. “I know exactly what you did and now you’re going to pay for it” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs). Mac (John J. York) requested Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) being brought up from the holding cell and taken to the interrogation room. Cody burst into the room and demanded Dr. Montague drops the syringe and lets Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) go. “I’m walking out of here and I’m taking her with me” Dr. Montague said. Charlotte asked Valentin whether she could meet Jake (Hudson West) at the skateboard park. Once her father gave his permission, Charlotte left without saying goodbye to Anna. Valentin told Anna he owed her an apology. Trina and Spencer fell back into bed. Spencer told Trina he was crazy in love with her. Gregory returned to Alexis’ office asking whether she read his article. Finn and Tracy made a date to play backgammon for Thursday. Sonny confronted Gladys for her lies. Fearing the crazed doctor would stick her with the syringe, Cody reluctantly stepped aside to allow Dr. Montague to leave with Sasha. Fortunately, Nurse Janice (Lauren Swickward) arrived. Dr. Montague told Nurse Janice to make sure the security doors were opened so he and Sasha could leave, warning Sasha would die if he heard any alarms or if Cody tried to come after them. Cody nodded to Sasha who elbowed Dr. Montague. Cody fought Dr. Montague, knocking the syringe out of his hand. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) appeared, gun drawn. Sonny accused Gladys of not caring about Mike (Max Gail) or the family and only caring about herself and getting money. Trina told Spencer how the private tour of the archives helped her perspective of art. Gregory asked Alexis whether she wanted to help him knock another thing off his bucket list. Tracy approached Chase when she saw him and it looked as though he were crying. “Did something happen to Brook Lynn? Is it your father, did he fall down again?” Tracy asked. Chase told Tracy he was fine and just got hit with some pepper spray. “Ms. Quartermaine, tell me what’s going on?” Chase asked. Spencer told Trina she completed parts of him he never knew could be completed. Charlotte listened as Anna and Valentin talked about the house. Sonny told Gladys she used his dad like she used her son and Sasha. “But I’m gonna tell you right now, the days of you using anyone are over.” Mac arrived at Ferncliff. Dr. Montague tried to lie about what was happening when he was questioned. Fortunately, Nurse Janice corroborated Cody and Sasha’s story. Mac ordered the cop to cuff Dr. Montague and Dante to read the doctor his rights. “It’s finally over Sasha,” Cody said. Sasha thanked Cody with a hug, which Mac witnessed. Spencer told Trina being away from Port Charles made him see clearly how much he loved her. Trina asked whether they could eat in the room in bed. Dante told Mac how he and Cody followed Dr. Montague, arriving just in time. “Cody did good,” Dante said. Sasha told Cody she was afraid Dr. Montague would get away with it. Cody said both Dr. Montague and Gladys would pay. Finn appeared just in time to hear Tracy tell Chase “Your father has ALS.” Alexis told Gregory to pick something else besides skydiving. They ended up at an intense yoga class. Spencer went to get the food when their room service arrived. Valentin told Anna he should have asked what she wanted instead of riding in like her white knight. “You can’t blame me because all I ever wanted was a life with you,” Valentin told Anna. Charlotte thought about when she read Victor’s (Charles Shaughnessy) letter about Anna manipulating Valentin and how he needed Charlotte to be a strong Cassadine woman to save her father and the family. And also how he explained about the powerful tarot cards. Gregory told Alexis he’d hold off doing the rest of his bucket list until he told Chase. Chase was angry that Finn knew about their dad’s ALS and didn’t tell him. Sasha thanked Dante for he and Sam believing in him. Cody said Dr. Montague now was the one in Sasha’s place trapped and helpless. Sonny made Gladys confess to what she’d done. “Now you’re going to have to see what it’s going to cost you” Sonny said before calling his bodyguard Frank. “Good bye room…thank you” Trina said. Then, she and Spencer left their magical New York City weekend to return home to Port Charles. Valentin told Anna it wasn’t the right time for them to move in together. Gregory told Alexis he was starting Anna Karenina tonight. Finn told Tracy he should have been the one to tell Finn and handled things all wrong. Cody punched Dr. Montague in the stomach. Dante denied seeing anything. Mac asked the officer to get Dr. Montague ready to be transferred back to the station and booked. Nurse Janice apologized to Sasha. Dante told Cody and Sasha they could leave. Sonny told Gladys that Frank was going to take her back to her old life in Bridgeport. And if she tried to leave, told anyone they were related or put so much as a quarter in a slot machine, he’d know about it. Then Frank would take her on another ride which would be her last ride. He told Gladys not to take the luggage because Sasha paid for it and it wasn’t hers.

Tuesday

“Another visit” Jack (Charles Mesur) said with a smile when Carly (Laura Wright) entered his hospital room at GH. “I had to come. I hear you stabbed yourself for me” Carly said. “Dining alone?” Fergus (Lane Davies) asked when he approached Alexis (Nancy Grahan) at a diner. When someone knocked on the door, Chase (Josh Swickward) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) he didn’t think he could handle any more sympathy right now. Brook Lynn said she’d get rid of whoever it was. But when she opened the door, Brook Lynn saw it was Tracy (Jane Eliott). Spinelli (Bradford) told Sam (Kelly Monaco) going up against the FBI was ill advised. Anna (Finola Hughes) came to see Jason (Steve Burton) to talk about him getting in the middle of the fight between Dex (Evan Hofer) and Sonny (Maurice Benard). Fergus sat down uninvited at Alexis’ table. She asked whether she had to report him to his own disciplinary committee. Fergus asked Alexis who she chose to pursue getting her law degree back now. Tracy gave Brook Lynn a bottle of a hard to find wine since she and Chase couldn’t be on their honeymoon in Italy. When Brook Lynn left to uncork the wine, Chase started to thank Tracy for being a good friend to his dad at a time he needed it most. Tracy asked to be spared the platitudes. Spinelli still couldn’t believe Jason was working as an informant for the FBI. Anna told Jason that Dex decided not to press charges. She said as she heard Dex’s version of events, she came to hear Jason’s. Carly didn’t buy Jack’s explanation that he was attacked by a thug in the prison shower. “It’s not a platitude, it’s the truth,” Chase said. Tracy apologized for offending him. Chase said he wasn’t good at this grief thing. Tracy told Chase she didn’t have friends because she found most people were annoying so her friendship with Gregory (Gregory Harrison) snuck up on her. Chase blamed himself for wanting his dad to officiate at his wedding and pushing his body. Fergus told Alexis she did this to herself. Alexis asked Fergus what the real reason was for him coming after her. Jack told Carly him being accused was part of the spy game and nothing was as it seemed. “Including Anna Devane.” Of the record, Jason told Anna that Sonny lost it. “Do you think Sonny would try to have you and Dex killed?” Anna asked Jason. Tracy told Chase that officiating his wedding was what kept his father alive. She told Tracy that she never heard his father brag except when he talked about him and Finn (Michael Easton) because he was very proud of them. Chase laughed for the first time since hearing the news when Tracy said it was Gregory’s only annoying quality. Tracy left. Sam told Spinelli to do it for Danny. Jason told Anna he could no longer say Sonny wouldn’t target him. Jack told Carly if she were a spy she would have never come to visit him in Pentonville. “Allow me to give you your first lesson in espionage: A good spy never tells” Jack told Carly. Brook Lynn reminded Chase that alcohol was dangerous for Finn in the way it wasn’t for him. He explained to Brook Lynn if he was as supportive as possible, he could get Finn through this and help him to not take another drink. Maxie (Kristen Storms) interrupted Sam and Spinelli. Sam offered to take Maxie and Spinelli out for dinner, her treat. Before leaving she asked Spinelli “Think about what I said.” Maxie asked Spinelli what Sam meant. Alexis asked Fergus why Neil never mentioned he had a brother. Fergus told Alexis he and his brothers argued over their father’s estate and exchanged angry words resulting in them not speaking for decades. But he never expected both his brothers would be dead within two years of each other and all because of her. Alexis told Fergus going after her would not help her get back the years he lost with his brothers. Fergus told Alexis she didn’t deserve to practice law because she couldn’t take responsibility for her actions. “Enjoy your salad” Fergus said then left the diner. Chase told Brook Lynn her grandmother made him realize that his dad felt it was okay to go because he knew he (Chase) wouldn’t be alone because he had her. Spinelli told Maxie what Sam wanted him to do and said he’d turn her down if Maxie told him to. Jason told Anna how Carly talked Sonny down. “Carly to the rescue again” Anna commented. Jason asked who else Carly rescued. Jack warned Carly not to come see him again. “If I wasn’t a part of this equation, would you do this?” Maxie asked. When he said he would, Maxie told Spinelli to promise to be careful and not get caught because she and the kids needed him. Anna told Jason that Brennan was up to something and might be using Carly as a cover. Chase answered Gregory’s phone and broke the sad news to Alexis that Gregory had died.

Wednesday

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) told Chase (Josh Swickward) that Finn (Michael Easton) is going to feel what he’s going to feel because he’s grieving . All he can do is be there for him. Finn arrived at Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) house and she offered condolences over Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) passing. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) arrived at the Jerome Gallery with coffee. Trina (Tabyana Ali) told her they could look at apartments after Ava (Maura West) got back. Ava barged her way into Nina’s (Cynthia Watros)office interrupting her meeting with Maxie (Kristen Storms). “You’ll see me now. You broke our deal and I wanna know why” Ava told Nina. Drew (Cameron Mathison) came to see Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) at the gatehouse. “There’s something I want to run by you. But you gotta promise you’re not going to tell the rest of the Quartermaines” Drew said. Trina and Josslyn talked about being tired of dorm life. She told Trina about the wedding and how Sonny (Maurice Benard) beat up Dex (Evan Hofer) after the reception. Nina told Ava there wasn’t room in the current issue of Crimson for the profile of an artist named Harriet. Nina told Ava she had to include an article on a new charity her daughter’s involved with. After Ava left, Maxie asked Nina why she was antagonizing Ava. When he told her about running for the congressman’s seat, Willow said Drew would be perfect. Finn told Alexis about drinking a third of bourbon that was a gift from the Cerillo’s. Finn and Alexis decided they’d help each other not drink. Maxie told Nina she shouldn’t take the time to become Ava’s enemy because that woman had a history of murder and mayhem. Brook Lynn assured Chase that her dream was “Being with you in good times and bad.” Diane (Carolyn Henessy) came over to see Alexis and told her she’d be filing harassment charges against counselor Byrnes (Lane Davies). She told Alexis she was on her way to GH because she’s been retained for the reading of Gregory’s will. Finn found Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) in the breakroom and apologized for the way he spoke to her. Elizabeth appreciated his apology but told Finn he didn’t seem to understand yesterday her concern was for Violet (Jophelle Love) and she was putting her first. Brook Lynn explained she felt better now that they were married. She said her capacity to love is more. Ava walked in as Josslyn was telling Trina about Sonny attacking Dex. Ava commented that Josslyn probably misunderstood, adding you know how men got when they drank. Josslyn sarcastically said Ava wouldn’t know what happened because she wasn’t invited to the reception. Alexis told Diane she didn’t need to come to the reading of his will because she already knew Gregory wanted her to be his literary executor. Alexis sadly said she wished she’d attended the wedding and saw Gregory in his finest (and last) moments. Elizabeth told Finn he made it seem that Violet was something that belonged to him that she shouldn’t take, adding she never saw that side of him before and never thought she would. Finn apologized again and told her he had to leave because Chase was in his office because Diane Miller was reading his father’s will. Maxie asked Nina whether sex with Drew was so good that hooking up with him didn’t make her concerned he was her boss and they didn’t like each other. Willow promised not to say a word to anyone else about Drew running for congress. “But I really hope you’ll do it.” Chase told Finn he wasn’t checking up on him because he trusted him to take care of himself and Violet. Alexis came to the Jerome Gallery and confronted Ava for being responsible for ruining her life and career. Ava said Alexis was responsible for that herself. Diane read Gregory’s will: He named Chase as his executor and Alexis as his literary executor. He wanted his estate divided equally between his sons, Hamilton and Harrison except for his vast library which he left to Violet to enjoy when she was older. He wanted his body cremated and his ashes scattered near his favorite tree in the park. He wanted his family to focus on the air, not the ground. Nina told Maxie how Drew helped her with her relationship with Willow. Ava told Alexis she was happy to contribute to her losing her career after how Alexis treated Julian (William deVry). Willow told Drew he could thank her by agreeing to run for congress. Finn told Elizabeth about Gregory’s wishes. Chase told Brook Lynn his dad named him the executor of his will and hoped he wouldn’t let his father down. Alexis vowed to make Ava regret her part in the loss of her law license.

Thursday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) ran into Josslyn (Eden McCoy) in the park. “Josslyn, you got something to say…say it” Sonny said. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Drew (Cameron Mathison) he single handedly changed the course of her and her family’s life. When Michael (Chad Duell) entered, Willow told him “Drew has something to tell you.” “Thanks for meeting me” Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) said when Dex (Evan Hofer) entered Bobbie’s. Outside Bobbie’s, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) ran into Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), who suggested the four of them (she, Kristina (Kate Mansi), TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly) get together sometime. “Maybe we can talk about what happened at this eventful wedding,” Molly said with a laugh. Sam (Kelly Monaco) assured Kristina she knew she would be fiercely loyal to herself even if it came at a cost to Sonny. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) and Georgie told Maxie (Kristen Storms) how Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) fixed the computer. James asked whether Spinelli could move back in. Blaze told Molly about Sonny attacking Dex. Kristina told Sam that Dex wasn’t filing charges. When Alexis entered, Sam and Kristina expressed condolences about Gregory (Gregory Harrison). Kristina asked about Albany. Dex told Dante he wasn’t pressing charges. Josslyn said Sonny wasn’t the man he used to be. She told him Dex wasn’t pressing charges. “He did it for your kids,” Josslyn told Sonny. Michael gave Drew reasons why he shouldn’t run for congress. “If you were hoping for a blank endorsement, I’m sorry I can’t give it to you” Michael told Drew. Alexis told Sam and Kristina about Fergus Byrnes’ actions at the hearing and how Ava Jerome (Maura West) was the witness against her. Josslyn told Sonny how Kristina asked for Michael’s help and Michael asked Dex not to press charges. Dante told Dex how Sonny came to him with his version of events. Kristina, Molly, Sam and Alexis talked about Ava and Fergus Byrnes working to take away her law license. After Sam and Kristina left, Alexis assured Molly she wouldn’t start drinking again. Molly told Alexis how Sonny attacked someone at the wedding. Dante told Dex he was avoiding him at the station because he didn’t want him to think he was pressuring him to go easy on Sonny. Dex regretted working for Sonny because it turned him into someone he didn’t want to be. “I miss having you here too and I’d love it if you move back in” Maxie told Spinelli. “I think you have more to lose than you do to win” Michael told Drew. Blaze told Josslyn she owed her an apology. Molly told Alexis if she hadn’t run into Blaze, she would have never known what happened. Dante told Kristina their dad didn’t go to jail for shooting him was because “I lied about that.” Spinelli declined Maxie’s offer because he didn’t want them to be roommates…he wanted them to be a couple. Maxie said she wanted that too but felt they needed to take time and asked whether it would be awkward for him staying in the guest room. “If this is an ambush, I won’t take it lying down” Dex told Sonny, who assured it wasn’t. Sonny sat down and thanked Dex for not pressing charges because of Kristina. Alexis told Molly they had to do everything they could to ensure Kristina had a healthy baby. Dante told Kristina the reason why he didn’t turn Sonny in for shooting him because once he found out he was his father, he didn’t want to throw away that gift. Spinelli agreed to move back in and he and Maxie decided to date. Spinelli gave Georgie and James the good news. “If I do this, I’m going to need help from you two” Drew told Willow and Michael. “We’re all in Congressman Cain” Willow said. “When this baby comes, I’m going to keep Kristina and her drama far away” Molly told Alexis. Dante told Kristina if this is on her, it’s going to be on him too. Josslyn told Blaze part of her wishes Kristina found out. Sonny told Dex this thing between them was over. “You’re not worth my energy. For your sake, keep it that way” Sonny said then walked away.

Friday

“Hey Jason. You free? Cause I’d like to clear the air” Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Jason (Steve Burton). Chase (Josh Swickward) asked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) how he could get a copy of his dad’s death certificate. Laura (Genie Francis) told Jordan (Tanisha Harper) they had to find out who leaked the story she was advocating for Hook Killer Heather Webber’s (Alley Mills) release. Curtis (Donnell Turner) showed Portia (Brooke Kerr) the article. John (Adam Harrington) came to Jack Brennan’s (Charles Mesure) hospital room at GH and said he was there to personally escort him back to prison. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) came to The Metro Court and asked Carly (Laura Wright) about Kristina and what happened after the wedding. Chase and Elizabeth discussed Finn’s (Michael Easton) drinking. Portia was furious Laura was going through with fighting for Heather’s release. Jack smirked about the FBI coming to personally escort him back to Pentonville. Carly told Molly their conversation had to be off the record because if it got leaked to the DA, she’d deny it. Portia entered Jack’s hospital room and announced to John her patient wasn’t going anywhere. Elizabeth told Chase that Finn’s hostile attitude towards her when she discovered he was drinking was surprising. Sonny told Jason about the deal he made with Dex (Evan Hofer) and offered him the same deal. He said Jason could do what he wanted but they were over and he never wanted to see him again. Portia told John that Jack wasn’t leaving GH until the surgeon cleared him. Carly told Molly how Kristina finally got to see what it meant to be a mobster. Sonny urged Jason he’d be smart to accept his offer to buy him out. Curtis came to Laura’s office to talk with her. After Jordan left her office, Curtis questioned Laura about the article. Laura explained to Curtis that it was her personal feeling that it light if her recent diagnosis, Heather deserved to have her case opened. Carly told Molly she’s sorry Kristina had to find out now about Sonny. Molly told Carly that she can’t tell TJ (Taj Bellows) about this. All she could do is say a silent prayer Kristina would be okay. Carly commented that Molly around sounded like a mom and added Kristina would be okay. Jason told Sonny he was trying to rebuild the coffee business because it was his only legitimate cover. He said he’s been his friend for a long time and told him “You’re in trouble.” Elizabeth told Chase she’d be at Gregory’s (Gregory Harrison) memorial service. Jack smirked that John heard the doctor and he’s not going anywhere. Sonny told Jason if he didn’t get out of his business he was done. John questioned Jack about his “old friend” from the 80s Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) who was there to take him down. TJ and Molly were talking about Kristina when Portia interrupted and asked to talk with Molly alone. Portia told Molly about The Invader article and asked how the DA’s office would fight it if the case was reopened. Laura told Curtis it was up to the court to decide whether Heather was responsible for her actions or if the cobalt poisoning was. Portia told Molly that Heather’s victims deserved the justice that a danger like Heather Webber stayed behind bars. Sonny came to The Metro Court and told Carly he hadn’t spoken to Kristina today because he was dealing with Jason. Meanwhile, as Jason was doing inventory at Corinthos Coffee warehouse, a gunman watched. Elizabeth assured Charles the death certificate wasn’t the only thing left of Gregory as he had his memories of his father. Sonny told Carly he asked Jason to sell him back his share of the coffee business and since Jason refused, he couldn’t be responsible for what happened next. Jason took cover when a shot rang out. He was forced to exchange gunfire with multiple shooters.
