A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

John (Adam Harrington) told Jason (Steve Burton) to testify against Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) goes free. Michael (Chad Duell) came to see his mother at the interrogation room at the PCPD. Carly said there was something she needed him and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) to do but they weren’t going to like it. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) knocked on Sonny’s office door and said he was there because Carly asked him to come. Kristina (Kate Mansi) asked Alexis (Nancy Grahan) whether Molly (Kristen Vaganos) called her. John urged Jason to give him Sonny. Molly came to GH and told TJ (Taj Bellows) what happened with Kristina and her refusal to sign the papers to terminate her parental rights. TJ said it looks like they’ll have to go to court. Kristina told Alexis about her altercation with Molly and said she had no choice but to file the petition for custody she drew up. Sonny let Dante into his office and assured he was fine. He told his son that the real reason Jagger came to Port Charles was to bring him down. “You let Valentin Cassadine escape so if you think about it, you owe me” John told Jason. He told Jason he was going to give him time to think about his proposal. Carly asked Michael to make peace with Sonny and to make sure Josslyn did the same. Because it was a good chance she wouldn’t make bail and may be convicted. So she’d rest easier if they (Michael and Josslyn) were there for Donna. Michael agreed to keep trying to make peace with Sonny but added his concern right now was clearing her. TJ was angry when Molly told him how Kristina said she and Allison (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) would make better parents than them and believed they were breaking up. Alexis urged Kristina not to escalate things. But Kristina felt that TJ and Molly weren’t as focused on being parents as they claimed. TJ assured Molly they were good and have just been stressed for a year but were good. Molly had to leave when she got a call about some FBI agent needing records from the district attorney’s office. Kristina told Alexis if she were going to act she had to do it now. John came to Ava’s (Maura West) room and thanked her for holding his stuff there. He had to change for court. Ava told John she knew something about Sonny he didn’t. But before she told him, Ava had to know whether she could trust him. Sonny told Dante that Jagger was predictable and probably would offer Carly and Jason immunity to testify against him. Ava told John that Sonny was under medicated. “If Sonny were to go for my throat, it could be very good for your custody case” John told Ava. Dante wanted to share what Sonny told him with Anna (Finola Hughes) because Cates has been continuously not following procedure. Dante warned Sonny not to get into it with Cates. Jason came to the PCPD. “You’re not mad with me are you? Think of it this way, I saved you a long bus trip to Quantico” Carly told Jason. Kristina told Alexis if TJ and Molly did break up she would know she made sure this child had a stable home and mother. “Maybe even two,” Kristina said. Sonny received a text from Brick about the long lines at the medical detectors at the courthouse. TJ checked GH computers and there wasn’t any record Jack or John Brennan was ever at GH. But TJ remembered Portia (Brooke Kerr) getting angry when some FBI agent insisted Brennan be transferred back to Pentonville before he was completely healed. Molly arrived at the courthouse and greeted Michael. John appeared and showed Molly his badge. He demanded all of the files on Sonny Cornithos. Sonny appeared and Michael wanted to sit down and talk. “Yeah we’ll see,” Sonny said. John told Molly he showed her his badge and she had no reason not to give him the files he requested. Jason urged Carly to play it cool in court. He told her he needed her to do and say whatever Diane (Carolyn Henessy) told her. “If things don’t go the way we want, will you take care of Donna, Michael and Josslyn” Carly asked Jason. He promised he would. After they left for the arraignment, Dante asked an officer where Commissioner Devane was. He learned Anna was in Washington DC. Sonny watched from the sidelines as John threw accusations at Molly for not turning over Sonny’s file when he learned he was her uncle. When he was unable to take it anymore, Sonny came over and confronted John. Michael held him back before Sonny punched the FBI agent.

Tuesday

Anna (Finola Hughes) arrived at the WSB and asked to speak with someone who would know why Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) was removed from Pentonville. Wiley was happy to see Grandma Nina (Cynthia Watros) at The Metro Court Pool. Michael (Chad Duell) stopped Sonny (Maurice Benard) from taking the bait and hitting John (Adam Harrington) telling him to think about Donna who might lose her mother. “Do you want her to lose her father too?” Michael asked. Michael told Sonny to walk away. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) told John if he wanted to get the cooperation of the district attorney’s office he needed to make an official request with the police commissioner or get a court order. “Until then, our business is done. Good day Agent Cates” Molly said walking away. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) told Maxie (Kristen Storms) the leverage Agent Cates was using to get Jason (Steve Burton) to work as an informant was against Carly. Nina gave Wiley the present she brought for her for her birthday. Molly came to the PCPD looking for Anna. She told Dante about the rogue FBI agent making trouble at the courthouse. Dante knew immediately it was Agent Cates. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) asked Michael whether he thought their mother would make bail. Anna couldn’t get the WSB’s cooperation to get information about Jack Brennan. Suddenly an office door opened and out walked Brennan. Nina told Willow the reason she helped Carly because despite their differences, she knew how important Carly was to the family. Diane told Carly while in court she wasn’t to look in Agent Cates’ direction. Carly’s arraignment began. Alexis came to the PCPD to deliver a document. Dante congratulated her on the reinstatement of her law license and suggested a dinner to celebrate. Jack reminded Anna how the game was played which is why information about his stint in Pentonville was purged. Diane asks for the charges against her client to be dropped for lack of evidence saying the alleged recording the FBI claims to have isn’t proof of her client committing RICO violations. John is livid when the special prosecutor agrees to dismiss the charges. When he, John and Diane approach the bench, he explains the FBI’s recording is missing. He tells John that the last person who accessed the recording was Agent Cates on June 10 to which John denies. After berating John’s conduct, the judges dismiss the charges. Agent Cates vows that it’s not over and he’d see Sonny along with Jason and Carly in prison. To celebrate, Michael suggests they go to Wiley’s birthday party. “What’s wrong with you people?!” Sonny angrily asks. He says this all could have been avoided if Jason had come to him from the start and he could have fixed it. But Jason didn’t trust him…neither of them did. Sonny says it doesn’t matter because now he was going to take care of Agent Cates.

Wednesday

Molly (Kristen Vaganos) came over to her sister’s apartment and told Kristina (Kate Mansi) she’ll trash the termination of parental rights papers. Ava (Maura West) told Scott (Kin Shriner) that Carly’s (Laura Wright) testimony in the custody case won’t be useful once she’s found guilty on RICO charges. Carly, Michael (Chad Duell) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) arrived at The Metro Court Pool for wiley’s birthday party. Donna ran into her mother’s arms. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogan) shared information about Brennan (Charles Mesure) and Carly’s arraignment. John (Adam Harrington) entered the PCPD interrogation room and demanded to talk with Anna alone. He warned Dante to put a lease on his father. Jason (Steve Burton) came to see Sonny, who didn’t want to talk to him. Jason said this time he’d do all the talking. Molly apologized to Kristina for thinking the worst about her. Carly apologized to Donna and Wiley for being late saying she had a problem but now it’s over. When Josslyn took the kids for a swim, Michael told Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) the charges were dropped because the FBI’s recording disappeared. John accused Anna of making a deal with Jason: If he helped her boyfriend Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) flee, she’d make sure the evidence disappeared and Carly go free. Jason told Sonny about his deal with Agent Cates. Michael told Willow about stopping his father from landing a punch on Agent Cates. John accused Anna of protecting and serving Valentin and Sonny. “Kristina Cornithos-Davis, you’ve been served” said the process server who arrived at Kristina’s door. Scott told Ava that Kristina was served to testify for them in the custody case. Sonny told Jason that Agent Cates was his problem and he’d deal with it. Dante arrived. “Last night, Agent Cates offered to let Carly go if I testified against you. I refused…again” Jason told Sonny before leaving. Carly told Josslyn how when she thought she was going to prison, she was making a mental list of everything she wanted Josslyn to tell Donna in case she wasn’t there. She apologized to Josslyn for everything she put her through. Kristina told Molly that Ava was calling her to testify at the custody hearing. She worried she’d be the reason her dad lost custody of Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). John told Ava about the recording disappearing and Carly walking, adding he’s no closer to putting Sonny away. Dante told Sonny he had to stand down as far as Jagger was concerned. “Maybe you over reached. You were counting on Jason and Carly to get Sonny up and they’d never do that” Ava told John, who offered to help her any way he could. Ava said she was confident she’d get the outcome she wanted. Molly told Kristina once she was subpoenaed she couldn’t get out of it and had to raise her right hand and swear to tell the truth. Spinelli told Maxie seeing what happened to Jason and Carly made him reassess his priorities as far as she and the kids were concerned. Carly told Josslyn she should have thought of her and Donna before losing her temper and daring Agent Cates to arrest her. Jason came to the PCPD to thank Anna. But Anna told Jason although she had a debt to pay, she had nothing to do with that recording being erased. Jason asked who did. Maxie told Spinelli she knew she and the kids were a priority. He promised to talk with her first before he did anything like that again. Carly approached and asked to speak with Spinelli alone. After Maxie walked away, Carly thanked Spinelli. But he told her he had nothing to do with that recording being erased. “Sonny’s a ticking time bomb and it’s only a matter of time before he goes off,” John told Ava. Dante warned his father he was close to Sonny pushing him too far. Anna told Jason she believed Jack Brennan got rid of the FBI’s recording. She wondered why Jack would risk it for Carly Spencer. Carly commented to Spinelli if he didn’t get rid of that recording she must have a guardian angel out there. After Molly left, Kristina commented that maybe she’d give Ava a reason to change her mind about testifying. Ava asked John whether he’d be willing to testify to Sonny almost taking a punch at him at the courthouse. John answered he’d be happy to do so. And as Michael witnessed the altercation, Ava said she’d get her lawyer on it so both Kristina and Michael would have to testify to their father’s violent nature. Ava told John she was sure she’d win “With a little help from my friends.” Then, they kissed. Dante left when Sonny got a phone call. It was Brick (Stephen A Smith) who told him Jagger was with Ava in her hotel room. “Take a lot of pictures,” Sonny ordered.

Thursday

Gio (Giovanni Mazza) told Josslyn (Eden McCoy) because of the heat, he was taking a swim after work in the Quartermaine pool. Lois (Rena Sofer) asked Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) whether she was sure she was ready to handle the responsibility of running a record label. John (Adam Harrington) came out into the room wearing only a towel while Ava (Maura West) was going over Jerome Gallery business with Trina (Tabyana Ali). Jordan (Tansiha Harper) came to see TJ (Taj Bellows) at GH. “The situation with Kristina has gone from bad to worse” TJ told his mother. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) met Sam (Kelly Monaco) at a cafe and told her how Kristina (Kate Mansi) practically claimed the baby as hers and Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez). Sonny (Maurice Benard) was on the phone talking about how he wanted twenty-four hour surveillance with photos on Ava. Kristina arrived and told her father about being served with a subpoena to testify in the custody hearing. Sonny assured the case wouldn’t get to court. Brook Lynn told Lois she hadn’t spoken with Blaze yet about the record label. Lois questioned her daughter about Sonny’s involvement. Ava told Trina that John was taking a shower at her place because the water pressure where he was staying was bad. After Trina left, Ava told John it would have looked bad for her if anyone other than Trina had seen him. Scott (Kin Shriner ) entered Sonny’s office and told him the court blocked his attempt to deny Ava visitation. He told Kristina he’d see her tomorrow at ten. When she said they didn’t have an appointment, Scott told Kristina she hadn’t read the subpoena. Molly expressed her fear to Sam that Kristina was trying to claim their baby. TJ told Jordan he was afraid they were headed for a custody battle. Blaze arrived at The Metro Court and met with Brook Lynn, who told her they were about to take her career to the next level. She told her about the idea to release a new album on her very own label. Scott told Kristina she had to give a deposition and reminded her about perjury. After Kristina left, Scott told Sonny to get used to only seeing Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) through binoculars. Trina told Josslyn about seeing FBI Agent John Cates in Ava’s room and it was obvious they spent the night. Josslyn commented how Ava always had an agenda so she must believe Agent Cates could help her. John told Ava he was on his way to work and would pick up his bags tonight, that way, they could see each other again. Jordan commented to TJ how Molly had no legal or biological ties to the baby, which must make her feel she had no control in the situation. TJ said Molly was blinded by her love for her sister, adding it was pulling him in Molly in different directions. Jordan told TJ if he had to go to court to fight for his rights, she’d be right there by his side. Molly told Sam she wondered whether Kristina was using her and TJ breaking up as an excuse to keep the baby. Brook Lynn told Blaze the idea for the label was her mother’s idea, adding Natalia (Eva LaRue) was coming there to discuss it. Right on que, Natalia entered and commented they looked like they were having a serious conversation. “What I’d miss?” she asked. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) asked to speak with TJ. She asked TJ to give it some time to keep the peace. TJ asked whether that just applied to him and Molly. Or did it include Kristina too? Molly told Sam she felt like everyone else had a say in the baby decision but her. She told Sam about Ava serving Kristina with a subpoena. Brook Lynn walked away to the bar to give Blaze and Natalia the chance to talk alone. Brook Lynn told Gio she had a new record label that could use his musical talent. Lois came to see Sonny and said she wanted to discuss the finance of the new record label. Natalia apologized to Blaze for the things she said and for causing her pain. She told her daughter she regretted the things she said costing her hard earn success. Natalia added it was up to her daughter to decide her involvement in the new record label. Lois had a question for Sonny “Is this record label going to be clean or not?” TJ told Alexis everyone was walking on eggshells as far as Kristina was concerned. “What happens if Kristina tries to keep this baby?” Kristina stormed into Ava’s hotel room and told her she wouldn’t show up for the deposition or custody hearing. Ava reminded Kristina about being in contempt if she did so then asked “What exactly are you hiding?” Blaze told Natalia she couldn’t see her involved in her personal or professional lives because she couldn’t accept or embrace who she is. Sonny accused Lois of turning on him when she said she was just trying to protect her daughter. Molly told Sam everything would be okay once the baby was born and they saw its sweet little face. Kristina threatened to testify about Ava changing Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) bipolar medication and killing Connie Falconieri if she had to testify. Ava grabbed Kristina’s arm and when she backed away, she tripped over John’s bag. To the horror of everyone at The Metro Court Pool, Kristina fell out the window and landed in the pool.

Friday

Kristina (Kate Mansi) threatened to testify about Ava (Maura West) changing Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) bipolar medication and killing Connie Falconieri if she had to testify. Ava grabbed Kristina’s arm and when she backed away, she tripped over John’s bag. To the horror of everyone at The Metro Court Pool, Kristina fell out the window and landed in the pool. Sonny (Maurice Benard) asked Lois (Rena Sofer) whether they could table their discussion. But Lois refused because it concerned her daughter. “What are you going to do when Kristina tries to take our baby?” TJ (Taj Bellows) asked Alexis (Nancy Grahan). “Somebody call 911” Josslyn (Eden McCoy) said as she got into the pool to help the person who had fallen. “Kristina!” Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) shouted when she saw it was her girlfriend. Natalia (Eva LaRue) held her daughter back and told Allison to let them work to help Kristina. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) called 911. Trina (Tabyana Ali) looked up and saw Ava standing at the window. Ava called Scott (Kin Shriner) and left him a voicemail and said she needed him more than she ever has. Sonny told Lois he’d put her in touch with her accountant when she said she needed to know where the money came from he plans to use for the record label. Josslyn instructed Gio (Giovanni Mazza) on how to put the back board under Kristina. He helped her get Kristina out of the pool. TJ called Alexis a coward when she said the law was the law and there was nothing she could do about it if Kristina chose to keep the baby. Trina gave Josslyn some towels and asked whether anyone called Kristina’s parents. The paramedics arrived and told Josslyn they’d take it from there. Chase (Josh Swickward) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). “It’s Kristina,” Brook Lynn told Dante. Josslyn told the paramedics she was Kristina’s sister and left with them for the hospital. Natalia told Allison she’d drive them there. Brook Lynn told Chase she was still shaky after seeing what happened. Dante called Sonny. “Come on dad, pick up” he said. Ava replayed the moment over in her mind. She said she had to convince everyone it was an accident. TJ asked Alexis to talk with Kristina. “She’ll listen to you,” he said. Kristina opened her eyes. Josslyn told her they were on their way to GH. “Is my baby okay?” Kristina asked. Gio called Sonny and told him about Kristina. Chase urged Dante to go to GH and be there for his sister. Gio told Dante he got in touch with Sonny and he was on his way to GH. Dante told Chase they had to figure out what happened in that room and whether they were dealing with a crime. Chase commented that Kristina would have grabbed onto the curtains as she fell and they’d end up in the pool with her. But since the curtains were closed, Dante said someone closed them after Kristina fell so she wasn’t alone in that room. Trina approached them and they asked whether she saw something. Lois found Brook Lynn in the ladies room and her daughter told her it was Kristina who’d fallen. Kristina told Josslyn she wanted her mom and dad. Josslyn assured that they were probably on their way to the hospital and she’d see them soon. “I’m scared,” Kristina said. The paramedics wheeled Kristina into the ER and TJ walked over to the gurney. Gio berated himself for freezing and having to have Josslyn tell him to use the backboard. Trina told him Kristina fell from Ava’s room, commenting maybe she never knew Ava at all. Alexis asked Josslyn what happened. TJ offered to help but was told to stay with the family. He told Alexis that Kristina had a placental abruption. But she and the baby were holding their own. Ava moved John’s bags, empty ice cubes on the floor and put her shoes on the floor in order to stage the accident. There was a knock on her hotel room door. It was Dante. Blaze and Natalia arrived at GH. Sonny entered and comforted Alexis. Dante asked Ava questions about Kristina falling out the window. Ava said Kristina came over and was angry because she had been asked to testify in the custody hearing. Ava told Dante that Kristina tried to attack her and lunged for her but tripped on her shoes and fell out the window. Dante told Ava a witness saw her close the curtains. He accused Ava of lying when she gave her account of the opened and closed curtains. “Maybe I was right to doubt her,” Trina said about Ava. Dante wasn’t buying Kristina fell out of the window with such force from tripping over a pair of shoes. He placed Ava under an arrest. Brook Lynn questioned Lois about going behind her back by questioning the money Sonny was using to invest in the record label. The doctor came out from evaluating Kristina and told her family that due to the placental abruption she had to be taken into surgery for an emergency C-Section.
