A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came to see Dex ( Evan Hofer) and told him “Physically I’m fine but I’m not okay.” Natalia (Eva LaRue) told Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lpez) they should go and let the family keep vigil together. Ava (Maura West) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) looked at each other while Ava was being questioned in the interrogation room. Chase (Josh Swickward) urged Trina to keep her distance from Ava and said someone would be there to take her statement shortly. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) arrived at GH where TJ (Taj Bellows) told her Kristina (Kate Mansi) had an accident and was having an emergency C-Section. Molly asked whether Kristina and the baby were going to be okay. Josslyn told Dex what happened. Dex assured Josslyn she saved Kristina’s life. “What if she’s not okay…the baby? I just have this horrible feeling that one of them is not going to make it” Josslyn said. Anna (Finola Hughes) entered the interrogation room. She told Dante he should be with his family. After Dante left, Anna told Ava that Detective Chase would continue questioning her. Anna told Chase she’d question their witness. Chase asked Ava to tell him everything she remembered from the moment Kristina came into her room. Ava began by saying it was a terrible accident. Alexis told Molly what happened but didn’t understand why Kristina was in Ava’s room. “I know why,” Molly said looking at Sonny (Maurice Benard). Kristina woke up and asked “Where’s my baby?” Dr. Park told Kristina they did everything she could for the baby but she didn’t survive. “I had a girl?” Kristina asked and said she had to be the one to tell her sister Molly. Blaze and Natalia went to Cafe Cherie. Blaze admitted her mother was right when she said she needed juice. The doctor came out into the waiting room and said Kristina was asking for her sister Molly. After Molly rushed out, TJ (Taj Bellows) asked Dr. Park about the baby. Ava told Chase how Kristina barged into her hotel room angry she had to testify in the custody case and became violent and accidently tripped over a pair of shoes Ava had discarded. Dr. Park told the family the baby didn’t survive. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) tried to comfort TJ while Alexis and Sonny hugged each other. Trina gave Anna her statement of Kristina’s fall. Josslyn told Dex she learned to never take anything for granted and the disaster made her realize all they have is right now. Kristina cried and apologized to Molly for losing the baby girl. TJ told Jordan he hated himself for blaming Kristina for what happened and for feeling they were wrong to trust her to have their baby. Dante entered and Alexis told him Kristina lost the baby. She left to call Sam (Kelly Monaco). Sonny asked Dante whether he believed Ava was responsible. He told Dante that Ava and Jagger (Adam Harrington) would pay. Josslyn told Dex she loved him and wouldn’t let her pride get in the way. Blaze told Natalia how she started seeing Kristina around Christmas time. She said she was afraid Natalia wouldn’t love her anymore if she found out she was gay. Natalia assured she’d never do that. Blaze told Natalia how she and Kristina held hands and how Kristina called her out when she pulled her hand away when they saw people they knew. Natalia told Blaze how she believed her daughter was a good girl and couldn’t have feelings for a woman. Blaze asked her mother whether she still felt that way. Alexis told Dante she reached Sam who was devastated about the baby. Molly came out of Kristina’s room. Alexis comforted her daughter. “Kristina needs her mom,” Molly said. Alexis went into Kristina’s room and they held each other and cried. “We had a daughter,” Molly told TJ as they held each other. When Sonny walked to his daughter’s room, Molly stood in front of the door and said “you’re not going anywhere near my sister.” Natalia told her daughter it was hard to change something you’ve believed in your entire life. Molly told Sonny that Kristina went to see Ava because she was called to testify in the custody case. Molly angrily said everything that happened was because of him. Sonny walked away. Trina asked Anna whether she could talk with Ava. Chase told Anna he’d get the statement transcribed right away and added Ava was definitely hiding something. Anna told Trina she was free to go but to Ava, Anna said “We need you to stay.” Blaze thanked her mother for listening to her when she talked about Kristina and for the soup. Jordan called Blaze and gave her the news about Kristina. Anna told Ava forensics were in her hotel room so she needed her to stay so she knew where to find her. Ava said she wouldn’t say another word without her attorney present and demanded Anna call Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Sonny went up to the GH roof.

Tuesday

“You didn’t think I forgot, did you?” Laura (Genie Francis) asked Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) when she appeared at his office door. Scott (Kin Shriner) arrived at the PCPD. He told Ava (Maura West) he’d been in court. Anna (Finola Hughes) told him about Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) fall from Ava’s hotel room. Carly (Laura Wright) told Jason (Steve Burton) that Sonny (Maurice Benard) was supposed to visit Donna but didn’t show up. Dr. Park rushed in and said Kristina needed to go to the OR. “What the hell’s going on?” Sam (Kelly Monaco) asked when she arrived at GH. “Dad, what are you doing?” A vision of Morgan (Bryan Craig) asked Sonny when he appeared on the roof of GH. A nurse told the family Kristina was taken into surgery for abdominal bleeding. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) told TJ (Taj Bellows) they lost their bad, she wouldn’t lose Kristina too. Scott requested to speak with his client in private. Anna told him he could use the interrogation room. Anna called GH and learned Kristina lost the baby. Chase told Anna he got the same vibe as Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that Ava was holding back information in her story. Jason received a call from Dante and learned about Kristina. He told Carly how Dante was worried about Sonny so he was going to GH. Sonny told the vision of Morgan that Molly was right when she said all he caused was destruction. Laura felt bad that she was in a city council meeting on her husband’s birthday. Kevin assured it was okay because he had a patient coming in for an evaluation. She told him to open his present. It was two tickets to a hard to come by Broadway show. Laura told Kevin sometimes it paid to be in politics. Anna and Chase entered the PCPD interrogation room. Anna questioned Ava about Agent John Cates’ luggage being found in her hotel room closet. TJ asked Jordan (Tanisha Harper) what she thought his daughter would have been like. The nurse told the family that a hysterectomy for Kristina may be unavoidable. Jason appeared and Dante told him how Sonny left after Molly laid into him. “If she kept running, the baby would still be alive” Sonny told the vision of Morgan. Dante was worried Sonny would go after Ava. Because he couldn’t leave, Jason said he’d look for Sonny. “Why didn’t daddy come for a play date today? Do you think daddy didn’t come for a play date today because you guys are mad at eachother?” Donna (Scarlett Spears) asked Carly. Sonny told the vision of Morgan he’s dead because of him. Brick told Jason he had a guy taking surveillance photos of Ava’s room. Jason asked Brick to send him the photos. But Brick said Sonny made it clear Jason was no longer in the circle of trust. Jason told Brick he was protecting Sonny’s family as he always had. “Good enough for me,” Brick said. Sam was angry with Ava and told Dante she lost a niece and both her sisters were broken and she didn’t know how she’d put them back together. TJ and Molly said they had to think of a name for their daughter. Kevin told Laura he loved his gift and couldn’t wait for them to spend a weekend together in New York. Ava told Anna she didn’t feel Agent Cates’ luggage being in her room was relevant. Plus, Sonny would use the information in family court. When she refused to cut Ava loose, Scott said he’d go before a judge. Jason arrived at the PDPC. He and Anna looked at each other. Dr. Park came out and told the family Kristina was in recovery and the hysterectomy was avoided for now. Carly assured Donna people get angry and make up because with love, the love was always there. Sonny told the vision of Morgan he should have done the right thing and ended this a longtime ago. Jason told Anna about Brick having a guy taking pictures. He showed them to Anna and said he trusted her to do the right thing. Anna returned to the interrogation room and told her they had proof she lied. She said she was going to ask her a question again and she should think before she answered. “Did you have any physical contact with Kristina before she fell?” Alexis thanked Kristina for pulling through saying a world without her in it was unfathomable. Sam told Dante she didn’t want her sisters to live through the pain of losing a child. Carly told Donna her daddy loved her and was always thinking about her no matter what. Sonny told the vision of Morgan he failed him because he hadn’t protected him. “I am helping all of my kids by keeping them safe from me.” Ava told Anna she may have reached out for Kristina. Anna said fortunately they didn’t have to rely on her memory anymore. She showed Ava the photos. “Where did you get these?” Ava asked. “Does it matter? Ava Jerome, I’m placing you under arrest for assault and manslaughter.” Anna told Ava that Kristina lost the baby. Sam and Alexis assured each other they’d get their family through. Kristina cried to Molly about losing the baby. Sonny came to Kevin’s office and told him he needed help.

Wednesday

Dex (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) woke up in bed. TJ (Taj Bellows) asked Molly (Kristen Vaganos) not to go to work, saying he needed her. At GH, Portia (Brooke Kerr) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) she and Terry (Cassandra James) agreed she was doing a good job as Head Nurse. Trina came to visit Ava (Maura West) in lockup and asked about what happened with Kristina (Kate Mansi). “Was it an accident…or did you push Kristina?” Trina asked Ava. Carly (Laura Wright) told Jason (Steve Burton) she was glad Sonny (Maurice Benard) reached out and asked him to bring him home. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) came to see Sonny to talk about what happened yesterday. Carly asked Jason whether he thought Ava could have pushed Kristina out of that window. Kevin told Sonny his blood test revealed there wasn’t any lithium in his system. Kevin suggested regular sessions with Sonny until his new medication is calibrated. Ava told Trina she’s being used as a scapegoat by the police. Molly told TJ she couldn’t be there when his mother and Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson) came to help pack up the nursery. Molly left when Jordan (Tanisha Harper) arrived. Josslyn told Carly she spent the night with Dex. Molly came to see Ava. She explained that Cadet Heller was there because an ADA couldn’t speak directly to the accused without an impartial third party present. Molly read the autopsy report on her daughter to Ava who pleaded with her to stop. Jason came to see Sonny who told him he went out to the GH roof and wanted to end it but Morgan (Bryan Craig) stopped him. Trina came to her mother’s office. She told Portia she just came from seeing Ava and she told her she hadn’t pushed Kristina. Molly read that the infant died from blunt force trauma. TJ told Curtis, Jordan and Stella out of all the ways he thought Sonny could hurt his child he’d never thought this would be the way. Carly and Josslyn rushed Donna (Scarlett Spears) to GH when she showed them Sonny’s pill bottle and said she took daddy’s vitamins. Ava told Molly the only person to blame for the baby dying was Kristina. Portia told Trina she is too trusting and may be trusting the wrong person in Ava. Carly and Josslyn arrived at GH and told Elizabeth about Donna taking her father’s lithium bills. Josslyn called Sonny and told him about Donna taking his medication. Portia received a call Heather (Alley Mills) was on her way to GH for a follow up. Kevin came to Ava’s jail cell and assured her she didn’t have to worry about Avery being with her father because Sonny was in treatment. TJ found baby booties in his pocket and sat on the floor of the apartment door and cried. Molly debated whether she should go inside the apartment. Jason and Sonny arrived at GH. Elizabeth told them and Carly and Josslyn that there wasn’t any lithium in Donna’s system. “Are you saying I’ve been taking placebos?” Sonny asked.

Thursday

Kristina (Kate Mansi) had a dream where she was holding the baby and telling her “You are a Davis girl ready to take on the world.” Kristina woke up and cried. When Heather (Alley Mills) was wheeled into GH and approached Trina (Tabayana Ali), Portia (Brooke Kerr) warned Heather to stay away from her daughter. Donna (Scarlett Spears) asked Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) whether she was in trouble for taking daddy’s vitamins. Ava demanded to make a phone call to Agent Cates. John (Adam Harrington) didn’t appreciate being summoned to the police commissioner’s office. “The truth would be nice. What is the nature of your relationship with Ava Jerome?” Anna (Finola Hughes) asked John. Portia told Heather she will do everything in her power to keep her away from her daughter. “What the hell was that?” Trina asked her mother after Heather was wheeled away. Carly and Sonny reminded Donna not to ever take anyone else’s mediation. Sonny told Carly he was going to see Kristina. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) rushed to her daughter’s side. Kristina told her mother about her dream and cried she’ll never see the baby again except in her dreams. Anna told John about Ava’s arrest and asked whether the fact an innocent life was lost didn’t matter because it was Sonny’s grandchild. John said of course it matters but warned Anna to stay out of his way because nothing was going to stop him from taking Sonny down. Trina reminded Portia as Co-Chief of Staff she couldn’t afford to lose it on a patient, not even Heather Webber. Scott (Kin Shriner) threatened to sue the guard and GH if he wasn’t allowed to see Heather Webber. Scott told Heather he wasn’t her attorney…yet. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) came to see Kristina and offered hers and her family’s condolences for her loss. She told Kristina she was a patient advocate with GH and wanted to make her aware of the grief counseling and support groups available to her to help her deal with her loss. After Felicia left the room, Kristina cried to Alexis “Why is this happening?” John came to see Ava, who told him Sonny would come after them both. She explained she hid his luggage but the police found it. Jason (Steve Burton) arrived at GH. He greeted Donna and offered to take her and Carly home. But Carly asked him to stay with Sonny. After they left, Sonny told Jason he should have listened to him and added he needed to know who was responsible for his medication being changed with placeboes. Scott asked Heather to let him help with the cobalt poisoning case. Heather asked “Scotty, what’s in this for you?” Trina told Portia she was worried about her and didn’t want her to let her hatred consume her. Ava asked John to convince the pharmacist Clemmens to run before Sonny confronted him. “Sonny’s days of trampling over people are about to come to an end” John assured Ava before leaving. Jason showed Sonny the surveillance photos. Sonny said Ava laid her hands on Kristina and was responsible for her falling out the window. He vowed Ava would pay for that and for switching his medication with placebos. Sonny asked Jason to go see Ava to see what she says. Kristina told Alexis she could finally admit the baby was hers because she carried her for eight and a half months. Scott wanted to sue the corporation that manufactured the faulty cobalt hip. He wanted to convince Heather to let him get her out of there. “And let us go after a piece of the corporate pie,” Scott told Heather. Sonny told Alexis they were in this together and would get Kristina through this. Sonny told Alexis he had proof Ava was responsible for everything that happened to Kristina. Felicia questioned Portia when she overheard her rushing Heather’s care. Trina came to see Heather. Carly called Anna and asked her to come to her house, adding “I need to report a crime.” Jason came to see Ava. Trina told Heather she was an adult and her mother didn’t speak with her so she wanted to hear what Heather had to say. Heather apologized for what she did and said she’d regret it for the rest of her life. Portia told Felicia she was overstepping. Carly told Anna about Donna having to have her stomach pumped because she took Sonny’s lithium except the pills were placebos. She said Ava Jerome switched the pills. Jason told Ava they had proof she pushed Kristina and she switched Sonny’s medication “Like you did with Morgan.” Scott told Alexis he was going to take Heather on as a client and thought she’d want to be second chair. Alexis told Scott there’s no way she’d ever do anything to help Heather Webber. Trina told Heather she hoped she got her day in court and justice was served and they all got peace. Carly told Anna it was her job to prove Ava was guilty of switching Sonny’s medication. Ava told Carly it would be hard to prove and the only one who would be in danger was Ava. Ava admitted to Jason she knew about the switched lithium but wasn’t the one who did it. “Give me a name,” Jason demanded. Ava said if she did, she’d be expendable. John entered Dr. Clemmens’ office. Flashing his badge, he told the pharmacist “I need you to come with me.” Sonny came to see Kristina and offered to do anything she needed. “I need you to make Ava pay for what she did to my baby” Kristina told Sonny.

Friday

Laura (Genie Francis) came to GH and asked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) where Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) was. Elizabeth commented she thought she was there to visit Heather (Alley Mills) but suggested “You might want to visit her another day.” Michael (Chad Duell) told Nina (Cynthia Watros) he wanted to thank her for all she’s done for Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). “Got room for one more?” Drew (Cameron Mathison) asked when he got on the elevator with Willow. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) left voicemails for Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Kristina (Kate Mansi) asked Sonny (Maurice Benard) to promise her he wouldn’t let Ava (Maura West) get away with taking another life “Like she did my daughter’s.” Elizabeth told Laura that Heather seemed down. Laura said she’d see if she could cheer Heather up. Michael told Nina because of her coaching, Willow seemed more confident in her role as spokesperson for New Tomorrow. Drew and Willow felt a jolt on the elevator. Kristina asked Sonny when Ava was going to pay for everything she’s done. Drew told Willow the director of the institute wanted to fly them down for a fundraiser. Nina told Michael that Drew would be busy with his own campaign. “I can’t,” Willow told Drew about flying to California. Laura showed Heather the latest photos of Ace. Heather told Laura about her visit from Trina (Tabayna Ali). Laura told Heather she heard her and wouldn’t mention her case anymore. Sonny showed Kristina the photos of Brick’s (Stephen A. Smith) guy took and promised Ava wouldn’t get away with what happened. Laura assured Heather that she and Ace would be in her life. Kevin told Alexis his door was always open if she ever wanted to talk. “I won’t be okay until I know Ava Jerome is no longer breathing” Kristina told Sonny, who assured he’d take care of Ava. “Take care of Ava, how?” Alexis asked when she entered. Drew told Willow it was completely fine if she didn’t want to go. “If I’m the reason you don’t want to go, maybe we should talk about it” Drew told Willow. Michael decided to take the stairs because the elevator was taking too long. Drew told Willow to go to the benefit and he’d stay at home. The elevator started moving again. The doors opened and Drew and Willow looked at Nina. Willow decided to take the stairs. “What did you do?!” Nina asked Drew, annoyed. Willow answered a phone call from Michael. Kristina told Alexis she just wanted her day in court. Alexis and Sonny want to talk in the hospital chapel. Alexis asked Sonny whether he was going to do what Kristina asked. Laura told Portia (Brooke Kerr) she backed off Heather’s case because Heather asked her. Heather told Elizabeth she wasn’t the only one to blame for the things she’s done. Michael visited Kristina, who asked him to send her the pictures that proved Ava pushed her. Laura and Portia agreed to put their differences behind them. Heather told Elizabeth she shouldn’t be the only one taking responsibility for the actions she committed under the influence of cobalt poisoning. Congressman McConkey called Drew and said he wasn’t making enough progress with the school board. Nina offered her help. Laura came into Kevin’s office and told her husband her perceptions of Heather’s mood. Kristina looked at the photos and commented to Michael they showed the last time her baby was safe and protected. She played the What If game and asked herself why she hadn’t walked out of the room, adding if she did her baby would still be alive. Alexis called Kristina fragile and told Sonny if he did what Kristina asked, it would leave a mark on her soul. “I’m glad that you and Portia were able to mend fences” Kevin told Laura, adding that he admired her for asking questions and her sense of decency. Laura told Kevin she didn’t regret raising the questions about Heather’s case. But in the end, Heather it was better Heather stayed where she was. Heather asked Elizabeth to text Scott (Kin Shriner) with two simple words: Heather’s In. Michael told Willow it was beneficial to Kristina to hear from someone he lost a child. Kristina looked at the pictures and told her baby she taught her the power of a mother’s love, something Ava couldn’t never take away from her. Sonny vowed to Alexis he’d take care of it.
