A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“Just call me Lucky” Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) answered when one of his captors asked he who was. Jack (Charles Mesure) told Carly (Laura Wright) he was using her. Lois (Rena Sofer) startled Gio (Giovanni Mazza) while he was practicing the violin. She asked for his honest opinion “Does my accent bother you?” Tracy (Jane Eliott) listened as Chase (Josh Swickward) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) that Lulu was taken to GH. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) sat by Lulu’s bedside and told her she needed to be okay to watch her kids grow up. Sam (Kelly Monaco) stood at the door. Laura (Genie Francis) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) were told Lulu’s test revealed she had cirrhosis of the liver. Robert (Tristan Rogers) didn’t like being summoned to the police commissioner’s office. Anna (Finola Hughes) told him she needed him to use his old boy’s contacts to help her find Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) because Laura asked her to find her granddaughter. “Using me how?” Carly asked Jack as Jason (Steve Burton) entered. “Carly…are you okay?” Jason asked. An upset Tracy left the room. Dante updated Sam on Lulu’s condition. Anna told Robert they had to locate Valentin without Brennan catching on otherwise he’d move Lulu. Jack assured Carly no one was in trouble…he needed Carly there because otherwise Jason wouldn’t have come. Gio told Lois she didn’t need to change how she sounded. Jack told Carly he’d make it up to her and asked her to dinner. Carly declined the dinner invitation and left his office. Lucky assured he was good and could do anything they needed. Brook Lynn told Chase how Tracy was a mother to Lulu when Laura was sick and wasn’t around. She also told him about Lulu becoming pregnant while in high school and terminating the pregnancy. Laura was told a treatment plan would be worked on to help save her daughter. Lucky was given a gun and ordered to kill a doctor. Brook Lynn told Chase how Carly paid her to seduce Dante, adding it was a long time ago and Chase couldn’t possibly be jealous. Jason said he knew Brennan made the FBI evidence against Carly disappear. Laura told Sam and Dante about Lulu’s liver cirrhosis. They said they’d get tested. Laura said the best bet would be a close family relative. “Like a relative?” Dante asked “The problem is we don’t know where Lucky is,” Laura said. Lucky agreed and pulled the trigger but the gun was unloaded. After his “employer” left the room, the doctor punched Lucky. Portia got in touch with the prison warden and Nikolas (Adam Huss) was going to be tested to see whether he was a match for Lulu. Lois told Gio she needed to sound sophisticated if she were to help sell Deception products. Carly came to see Anna and told her Jason was with Brennan. Anna assured Carly that Jason could take care of himself. Jack asked Jason to work for him in an off the book WSB assignment or assignments as needed. He said Jason should consider helping Carly a sign of good faith. Chase told Brook Lynn they had their whole life for her to tell him about her past. Lois made a call and asked about hiring a dialect coach. Lucky told the doctor he knew the gun was empty because it was too light to hold any bullets. The doctor asked whether Lucky had a plan for getting him out of there. Anna reasoned Jack was probably hoping Jason would work for him and get information that would help his tarnished image with the bureau. When Jason again declined, Jack commented he’s sure he’d have something Jason wanted and then they’d talk again. Chase commented to Brook Lynn that whatever was going on with Lulu’s body was probably the natural end for her. Tracy visited Lulu and told her that no child of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) would give up. “Your dad wouldn’t have it any other way,” Tracy said. The doctor told Lucky escape wasn’t possible. “Like my old man used to tell me…there’s always a way out,” Lucky said.

Tuesday

Rick (Rick Hurst) came to see Alexis (Nancy Grahan). Dex (Evan Hofer) was out for a run when he found Molly (Kristen Vaganos). He offered to join her run because he wanted to make sure she was okay. Molly admitted she wasn’t. Carly (Laura Wright) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) arrived at GH. Carly asked Portia (Brooke Kerr) about Lulu’s condition and said Spencers stuck together. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) found Tracy (Jane Eliott) in the GH chapel and asked whether he could join her. At Flatland Federal Prison, Nikolas (Adam Huss) was shown into the visitor’s room and hugged Laura (Genie Francis). Heather (Alley Mills) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) there was nothing her Lizzibeth couldn’t fix. Elizabeth said she’d get Heather some jello. Heather told Elizabeth soon she’d have access to all the jello she wanted because she was fixing to go free. Portia told Carly and Josslyn about Lulu’s liver transplant. “Test me” Josslyn said. Laura showed Nikolas a picture of Ace on her cell phone and told him he needed to tow the line in there for his and his sister’s sake. Tracy told Dante that Lulu became someone she didn’t recognize. Heather told Elizabeth that Scott (Kin Shriner) agreed to take her case. Elizabeth told Heather that Scott was gone and no one knew when he was. Molly told Dex how she said some awful things to her mother and sister. Rick accused Alexis of taking care of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) offspring instead of theirs. He said Molly was hurting and she had an opportunity to fix it but needed to do it soon. Molly told Dex that her mother was focused on her sister. Rick told Alexis she hadn’t reached out to Molly and their daughter needed to hear she was in her head and heart. Laura told Nikolas once the blood test came back his liver was healthy they could fly back to Port Charles. Nikolas told Laura he’d risk anything for Lulu. Laura said saved Lulu last time…hopefully he can do it again. Tracy accused Dante of robbing Lulu of the spunky she had when they first met. Alexis told Rick that she had to be there for Kristina (Kate Mansi) or she’d crumble whereas Molly was capable of taking care of herself. Molly told Dex she learned to be self reliant at an early age. Dex told Molly her mother doesn’t think she needed help because she never asks. Nikolas recalled when he was the bone marrow donor for Lulu when she was a toddler. He asked Laura whether it was too late for him to atone for the damage he’s done to his family. Portia told Josslyn because she received a transplant as a child she was eligible. But Carly asked to be tested. Portia found Elizabeth with Heather and offered to draw Heather’s blood. Molly interrupted Rick and Alexis. After her dad left, Molly told Alexis she could fight her own battles despite what her dad may have told her and adding she came to repair things between them. Laura told Nikolas his liver didn’t meet the donation criteria. Dante told Tracy although she may have kept all the promises she made to Luke (Anthony Geary), Lulu had nothing to show for it. Laura received the results of Nikolas’ blood test and told him “You can’t do it.” Josslyn surprised Dex at The Metro Court. Dante told Tracy he regretted leaving Lulu to work on his PTSD. Carly and Elizabeth were surprised when Rick entered GH. Although Portia the doctor had a good bedside manner when she drew Heather’s blood, Portia the mom vowed to do anything to protect her daughter. Molly asked Alexis to honestly tell her if Irene had lived whether she would have helped Kristina take her away from her (Molly) and TJ (Taj Bellows). Josslyn told Dex she was trying to stay optimistic Lulu will be okay. Alexis told Molly that she gave Kristina her legal opinion but made it adamant she wouldn’t help her. Kristina assured Alexis she didn’t lose her. Then they hugged. Carly exchanged barbs with Rick. After he walked away, Carly told Elizabeth that Rick being there couldn’t be good. Portia told Heather that with Scott gone she was much too toxic for another lawyer to take her on. Just then, Rick entered and told Heather that Scott Baldwin contacted him. “Heather was his client, now she’s mine” Rick announced. After Portia left the room, Rick told Heather “Let’s get you out of prison and we’ll make those bastards who hurt you pay.” Dante and Tracy agreed Lulu needed them both. “For Lesley Lu, find Lucky and bring him home” Nikolas told Laura.

Wednesday

Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) about the argument between Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi), who walked into the room. John (Adam Harrington) had to leave town but told Ava (Maura West) Agent Boyle would be there to watch over her. Tracy (Jane Eliott) told Anna (Finola Hughes) that Lulu needed a miracle. Laura (Genie Francis) told Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) about her search for Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) then answered a call. “Robert, do you have an update on Lucky?” Laura asked. “I played it just like you said…we’re getting out of here today” Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) told Lucky. Kristina told Sonny she was certain the baby was hers because a part of her died too when her daughter was put in the ground. John told Ava she couldn’t call Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) or have her phone because it would compromise her location. He told Ava she had to trust him before leaving the hotel room. Tracy told Anna that Lulu’s best chance was finding Lucky. Robert gave Laura the WSB’s information on Lucky’s last location. Lucky said all they had to do was lose the guards and make it off the contact. “It’ll work… it has to” Lucky said. Anna came to see Portia (Brooke Kerr) who gave her information about the search for a medical donor for Lulu. When Portia told her that in special cases a minor could be a donor, Anna said “That’s all I need to hear.” Laura came to see Jack (Charles Mesure) and told him “I need you to help me find my son.” Lucky’s plan went awry when a guard told him he wasn’t going to get the expensive medical equipment. “Just the doctor,” The guard said. Kristina told Sonny she named her daughter Adela after his mother. There was a knock on the door and John entered saying he still had a few questions for Ms. Cornithos Davis. Laura told Jack the WSB could locate her son without anyone even knowing they were looking. Before leaving his office, Laura said her family has done a lot for the WSB so it was time they repaid the favor. Lucky told Isaiah he was getting out of there. Tracy came over to Laura and Kevin’s apartment. John warned Sonny he’d take Kristina into custody if Corinthos didn’t meet him at The Port Charles Grill in twenty minutes. Ava made small talk with Agent Boyle, complimenting her on her shoes. After Alexis left for GH to handle a problem with her daughter’s insurance, Kristina made a call telling the caller she needed their help. Isaiah didn’t want to leave Lucky behind. “If you’re not going to go to save yourself…go to save me” Lucky said. Kristina thanked Jason (Steve Burton) for coming. Jason told Kristina she had to fight the impulse to yell her innocence because Agent Cates would use her losing it as ammunition. Kristina told Jason he had to help her prove her innocence and then make Ava pay. After Agent Boyle left to get her some coffee, Ava picked up Agent Boyle’s bag to see who the woman was. When he joined him at The Port Charles Grill, John told Sonny he was going to make all his daughter’s troubles go away by confessing. Anna barged into Jack’s office and said she needed to know Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) location. Jack took a phone and after he hung up told Anna the call was about helping Lulu. When he called her, Laura put him on speaker so Kevin and Tracy could hear. Jack told her Lucky was at a refugee camp a week ago on the border of Somalia and Ethiopia. Alexis thanked Portia for the help she gave with straightening out Kristina’s insurance. Jason assured Kristina that Cates would make a mistake and Sonny would be right there. John told Sonny he was going to confess to all his crimes on the record without a trial or a deal. He added it was Sonny’s freedom or Kristina’s. Lucky told Isaiah he needed to make it out there and go to the States and get the WSB’s help because they owed his family a favor. Anna said Jack was depriving Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) of the chance of saving her mother’s life. Anna warned Jack he’d have to live with it if he sacrificed an innocent woman’s life to protect the WSB. Laura and Kevin decided they would go and find Lucky. She asked Tracy to take care of Ace. Tracy said there were two nannies working for the Quartermaines so Ace could come and stay at Monica’s house. Jason assured Kristina that Ava would be taken care of but couldn’t give her any details. John told Sonny that Ava wouldn’t be able to recant her statement. Ava found a large amount of money in Agent Boyle’s bag. She started to leave the hotel room but found Agent Boyle standing on the other side of the door holding Ava’s cup of coffee. “Going somewhere?” Agent Boyle asked Ava.

Thursday

Violet (Jophelle Love) apologized to Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) for bothering them. Drew (Cameron Mathison) spoke in the park at a rally and thanked his family and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) for supporting his run for congress. Overhearing his wife on a call checking on Heather Webber’s blood work, Curtis (Donnell Turner) asked Portia (Brooke Kerr) why. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) talked with Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) about Lulu’s condition. Carly (Laura Wright) smiled when she watched Sonny (Maurice Benard) spending time with Donna. When a handcuffed Kristina (Kate Mansi) was led in the PCPD, she demanded to know why she was there. John (Adam Harrington) announced he was charging her with the manslaughter of Irene Davis Ashford. Sonny apologized to Carly for how he acted under the influence of his tampered medication. Brook Lynn assured Violet she was never a bother. Olivia told Dante he left his wife and son to protect his family and to get treatment for his PTSD. Portia told Curtis that Molly’s (Kristen Vaganos) father Rick Lansing (Rick Hearst) was now Heather’s lawyer. Sonny told Carly that Cates took Ava (Maura West) into protective custody. Violet asked Brook Lynn when she and Chase were going to have a baby. Drew received a call from Congressman McConkey’s wife Hazel and told Willow that Larry McConkey passed away this morning. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) rushed into the PCPD interrogation room and told Kristina not to say a word and she would handle it. After John told her about charging Kristina with manslaughter in the death of her daughter, Alexis left the interrogation room but asked the desk sergeant to have Cadet Heller (Evan Hofer) come into the interrogation room so Kristina won’t be alone with Agent Cates. Drew told Willow with the death of Congressman McConkey there will probably be a special election. John reminded Dex that a federal agent outranks a desk sergeant and ordered him to leave the interrogation room. Once they were alone, John told Kristina she could get herself out of the trouble she was in if she gave him information on Sonny and his crimes. Alexis came to see Sonny and told him about John’s latest harassment of their daughter. She asked that he give Jagger what he wanted to save Kristina. Sonny reminded if he were in prison he couldn’t protect Kristina. After crying and asking why he was doing this to her, Kristina found strength and told Jagger she wouldn’t give him her father nor would he break her. Brook Lynn told Violet she and Chase wanted but it was too soon. Alexis returned to the PCPD and was proud of her daughter standing up for herself to John’s bullying. When Curtis received notification of McConkey’s death and told Portia that Drew would need to rush the time table in appointing an interim CEO of Aurora, Portia said Curtis was the only choice. Carly came over to the Quartermaine mansion. Olivia told her how Monica (Leslie Charleson) invited her to stay for dinner, probably as a way to annoy Tracy (Jane Eliott). After Olivia left, Dante wasn’t in the mood to hear Carly’s concern for him, reminding how she once paid Brook Lynn to break up him and Lulu. He commented that Carly didn’t realize what that did to Brook Lynn, unaware she overheard. Sonny called John and told him he’d confess to everything if Agent Cates agreed to drop the charges against Kristina first. John said he’d come over to the penthouse to arrest Sonny. But Sonny said he had to go to the Quartermaines first to say goodbye to his children. John said that wasn’t a problem, he’d arrest Sonny at the Quartermaines.

Friday

Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) was told by his captor that Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) escaped. Isaiah arrived in Port Charles. Carly (Laura Wright) apologized to both Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) for paying Brook Lynn to break up him and Lulu. Michael (Chad Duell) wondered what was keeping Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Drew talked about Congressman McConkey’s love for his wife Hazel, commenting to Willow all he wanted to do was spend his final days with the woman he loved. Agent Boyle told Ava (Maura West) she was being moved to a more secure location away from Port Charles. John (Adam Harrington) ordered Dex (Evan Hofer) to cuff Kristina (Kate Mansi) and take her down to a holding cell. “Where the hell are you taking my daughter?” Alexis (Nancy Grahan) demanded. Sonny (Maurice Benard) contacted Diane and told her he needed her on call all night because he decided to turn himself over to John Cates. Maxie (Kristina Wagner) brought Maxie (Kristen Storms) a cup of coffee while her daughter sat at Lulu’s bedside. Maxie commented how she always thought Lulu was invincible. Sonny arrived at the Quartermaine mansion and told Dante they needed to talk. Drew told Willow that McConkey was a mentor and father figure. He commented about his real father Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) and wondered whether Alan would have been proud of him. Sonny asked Dante how he was doing with Lulu’s condition. Agent Boyle told Ava her life was in Agent Cates’ hands. Alexis vowed she’d stopped Agent Cates permanently if he continued to push innocent women around. Anna (Finola Hughes) appeared and asked what was going on. Lucky assured his captor all he was interested in was a big payday. Sonny thanked Dante for not giving up on him and helped him get through what he was going on. “I know I should have said it often but I’m proud of the man you’ve become” Sonny told Dante. Anna told John her department didn’t have the resources to care for a prisoner with Kristina’s needs, adding John had to fill out and file numerous paperwork before the PCPD would take Kristina into custody. John said he didn’t have time for that because he had to take another suspect into custody at the Quartermaines. John told Alexis she could take her daughter home but warned Kristina not to leave town. Drew talked about the significance of the Quartermaine name and all Alan did for GH. Sonny commented that some of his family were Quartermaines and asked Lois (Rena Sofer) to look out for them. Willow told Drew that Alan would have been proud of him. Sonny told Michael he’s always feared one of his enemies would come for him through his children. Alexis and Kristina returned to Alexis’ house. When she walked away to take a call, Kristina grabbed the car keys and left. Sonny apologized to how he acted when his medication was tampered with. Carly was happy to see Sonny and Michael in a hug. After Michael left the room to see Wiley and Amelia, Sonny told Carly it was important to him he was on the same page with his children. Maxie hated that Lulu didn’t fit the criteria to be on the transplant list. Lucky played poker with his captors. Ava realized they were on Route 42 on their way to the Pine Barrens. She told Agent Boyle as a Jerome and former Cassadine she had more money than Agent Cates was paying her and asked Boyle to take her to a bank, not the Pine Barrens. Sonny told John it was time for this to end. Kristina entered her dad’s penthouse and took out one of his guns from the safe. Dante returned to GH and commented to Maxie that Lulu’s condition was progressing worse too soon. Michael told Nina (Cynthia Watros) he was worried because Willow hadn’t returned home yet. Drew commented that Willow always knew the right thing to say. Sonny told Jagger he’d finally see who he really was then pulled out his gun and pointed it at the federal agent. Agent Boyle told Ava she had to do this because Agent Cates had evidence that could take her down. Isaiah appeared on the highway and Agent Boyle swerved. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was glad Nina was staying for dinner. Michael told Nina and Sasha he was going to go down and wait at the gatehouse. Drew and Willow admitted they wanted each other and began giving into their passion. Alexis realized Kristina left the house and took her car keys. Sonny pulled the trigger and shot John several times.
