A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) came to the Jerome Gallery and told Ava (Maura West) the custody hearing needed to be postponed. Ava commented that if Sonny’s attorney was too busy keeping his family out of jail, maybe he should just give her custody of Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Tracy (Jane Elitt)sarcastically asked Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) whether she needed her help in cleaning up. When Cody (Josh Swickward) came to GH and said it was time he met Lulu, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) said it was good he did it soon. Danny told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) his dad went to Africa to find Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and bring him home. Mac (John J. York) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) she needed more than one phone call before giving her his cell phone to use. Kristina (Kate Mansi) confronted Molly (Kate Vaganos) about putting her on the police’s radar as a suspect in John Cares’ (Adam Harrington) murder. Dante told Cody about when he first met Lulu. Molly told Kristina the gun their mother threw off the bridge was somehow connected to Kristina and their mother would do anything to protect her. Sam (Temporarily being played by Lindsay Hartley) came to the PCPD interrogation room. Alexis told Sam she needed to find out what the evidence the police had on her and could do that by allowing to be interviewed. Rick (Rick Hearst) entered the gallery and announced he was representing Ava and wasn’t afraid to go up against Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy). Sasha apologizes for overstepping by having the brunch on Quartermaine property, but asks Tracy whether she’d allow Cody if he wanted. Elizabeth suggested Danny text his mother and tell her about his dad going to Somalia. Alexis told Sam she’d be representing herself, knew the risks and how not to incriminate herself. Sam left when she got a text from Danny. Rick told Sonny all he needed to do was to tell the court how messed up Sonny’s oldest daughter Kristina was. Kristina told Molly she didn’t kill John Cates. Sonny accused Rick of singing the same old song about their mother choosing to give him away while he kept him but reminding who had a difficult childhood. Tracy told Sasha she had to one day think about doing something other than trying to make Cody happy. Dante told Cody he wanted to have the fiery Lulu he knew back. Sam came to GH and Danny told her about Jason (Steve Burton) going to Somalia to bring Lucky home. When Danny left the room, Sam told Elizabeth how Jason was again putting his son last. Elizabeth commented about how Lucky had missed most of Aiden’s life. Sam asked Elizabeth how she was going to deal with her kids’ devastation if Jason didn’t make it home. Danny overheard and assured his mother his dad would be fine. Molly left for the PCPD when Dex (Evan Hofer) called her about Alexis’ arrest. Molly told Kristina unless she planned to confess to stay away from the PCPD. Kristina texted Dante. Sonny told Rick he had to go take care of the mess he created. Before leaving, Sonny warned Ava that Rick would someday turn on her. Sasha told Tracy she knows she’s worried with spending time with Sasha and his new family, Cody wouldn’t have enough time for her and he’s one of the few friends Tracy has. Kristina came to GH and met with Dante. She wanted him to give her information on her mother’s arrest. Dante told Kristina he wasn’t handling the investigation but added that if Alexis was arrested, the police must have strong evidence against her. Molly came to the PCPD and asked Dex about her mother. Alexis gave her statement insisting she found the gun on her property and got rid of it because she didn’t want her grandchildren who visited her in danger. When asked whether she was the only one who drove her car, Alexis thought about when she found her car keys missing and knew Kristina took her car. But to protect her daughter, Alexis lied she was the only one who was driving her car on the night of Agent Cates’ murder. The problem was the car was seen outside the Quartermaine mansion on the night of John Cates’ shooting.

Tuesday

Trina (Tabayana Ali) met Stella (Vernee Watson) for breakfast. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was flattered Nina (Cynthia Watros) suggested her for a high profile catering job for Drew (Cameron Mathison). Drew caught Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) when she almost fell while working out. Sam (Temporarily being played by Lindsey Hartley came to Aurora to see Michael (Chad Duell). “Michael, did Kristina kill John Cates?” Sam asked. “Of course not,” Michael answered. “You seem pretty sure. Is that because you know who did?” Sam asked. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) came to his penthouse and told Sonny (Maurice Benard) not to show up at the courthouse to support Alexis (Nancy Grahan) when she was arraigned. Kristina came to the PCPD interrogation room and told her mother she was going to confess. Sonny told Molly he wanted to be there for both Alexis and Kristina. “This is not about Kristina, it’s about my mother,” Molly told Sonny. Kristina told Alexis how after she took the gun from her father she went to the Quartermaines to kill John Cates (Adam Harrington) but couldn’t get out of the car. Kristina said if she told the police it would get Alexis off the hook. But Alexis said it would make her look guiltier. Sasha commented how Drew and Nina have come a long way. Willow awkwardly left after Drew caught her. Sam asked Michael point blank whether Sonny killed Cates or gave the order for someone to do it. Willow overheard Nina talking about being with Drew. Michael told Sam they’d be better to focus on proving Alexis innocent with finding the gun she threw over the bridge at Blackstone Canyon then finding who actually killed Cates. Molly reminded Sonny’s dutiful daughter Kristina was the reason this all happened. Alexis urged Kristina to let it go and not say anything about the gun or going to the Quartermaines to kill Cates. Willow told Nina they’d get together soon. Alexis told Kristina to let her fight for both of them. Sonny told Molly that Kristina losing the baby was Ava’s (Maura West) fault and not Kristina. Sonny agreed not to come to the courthouse for Alexis’ arraignment but asked Molly to be there for her sister. Sam asked Michael if the police didn’t find who really killed John Cates would he let an innocent woman go to prison. Stella told Trina that Spencer (Nicholas Chavez) wouldn’t want her to put her dreams on hold forever. Sasha told Willow she was cleaning up and saw her kiss Drew on the Fourth of July. Willow sadly admitted it happened again. Michael came over to the penthouse. Sonny told him how Molly was there and asked him not to come to Alexis’ arraignment. Michael told Sonny about Sam’s suspicions. At the courthouse, Kristina told Sam their mother felt she’d get off. Molly arrived and told Kristina her father wouldn’t be at the arraignment. “Yes, I spoke with Sonny Kristina. I’m trying to do what’s best for mom. You should too” Molly told Kristina. The arraignment began with Honorable Henry Otis taking the bench. He asked the unfamiliar counselor to present his credentials. Mr. Reynolds showed his badge and told Judge Otis he was there to prosecute for the murder of one of their own. Willow told Sasha she’s doing everything she could to stay away from Drew. “I just feel so out of control…what is wrong with me?” Willow cried. Sasha hugged her. Drew told Nina he was down four points in the polls, commenting his opponent has the whole family value thing down. Drew didn’t want to use Scout as a prop. “Then use me,” Nina suggested. Sonny asked Michael why he didn’t turn him in for murdering a federal agent. Alexis told the court she was representing herself and asked for bail to be set and she be released on her own recognizance. But Reynolds asked for bail to be denied calling Alexis a danger to the community. Stella reminded Trina how she used to talk about being a curator of a museum or a professor of art history. Stella told Trina to go back to college to give herself options. Since she had the day off, Stella said they’d go to campus to get her registered for the fall semester. Sasha told Willow everyone makes mistakes. Willow thanked Sasha for not judging her. “So, what are you going to do about this?” Sasha asked Willow. Nina suggested she show up on her arm so they’d be perceived as the newest power couple. Sonny told Michael he’d never forget he chose not to turn him in. Michael told Sonny he’d always put his family first. Reynolds brought up Alexis’ past incarceration and how she had a child with Sonny Cornithos. Alexis countered by saying she served her time with humility and that she had children and grandchildren who needed her and wasn’t a flight risk. But despite her well-spoken statement, Judge Otis remanded her to be held without bail at Pentonville until her trial.

Wednesday

“The defendant will be held without bail and be remanded to Pentonville Pete while she awaits trial” Judge Otis announced. Alexis (Nancy Grhan) and Reynolds approached the bench. Alexis asked to be remanded to a minimum security prison, calling it cruel and unusual punishment. But the judge stood by his decision. “No, you can’t do this!” Kristina (Kate Mansi) shouted. Natalia (Eva LaRue) came over to the penthouse to see Sonny (Maurice Benard). At GH, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) commented to Portia (Brooke Kerr) she was a little jealous she got to spend time with Trina (Tabayana Ali), wishing she could do the same with all her boys. Rick (Rick Hearst) came to see Heather (Alley Mills) at Pentonville and said “I’m sorry Heather, you’re not getting out of here.” Rick explained how her blood test levels indicate her current cobalt levels were not where they should be so it looks like the cobalt poisoning wasn’t the reason for the murders she committed…it was all her. Judge Otis threatened to have Kristina removed from the court. Sam (Temporarily being played by Lindsey Hartley) was able to calm her sister down. Natalia commented to Sonny that if Alexis is innocent the police will find the guilty party. Rick told Heather he couldn’t see a way forward for her case. Heather offered Rick her sympathy over the loss of his grandchild. Alexis flashed her daughters a brave smile as she was handcuffed and led out of the court. Sam brought Kristina to GH to get help. Kristina called Sonny and told him the arraignment was over and Alexis was sent to Pentonville to await trial. Sonny told Natalia he’s going to do everything he could to make sure Alexis didn’t have to spend any more time in Pentonville than she had to. Alexis was processed as a prisoner of Pentonville. Rick came to GH and told Elizabeth it was over for Alexis. Kristina met with patient advocate Felicia (Kristina Wagner) who suggested they go in the conference room to talk. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) approached Sam as she sat on a bench at GH waiting for Kristina. They hugged. Felicia told Kristina they could speak openly. Kristina told Felicia how lost and broken she felt. Felicia told Kristina as a mother who’s lost a child she’d do everything to help her get through it. Felicia suggested Kristina attend meetings of a support group that helps mothers who’ve lost children. Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) met with Sonny at his penthouse and express interest in taking Alexis’ case saying he will do anything to win and told Sonny they had a deal. Sam discussed with Dante about taking a diving expedition to find the gun Alexis threw off the bridge. Rick showed Elizabeth the two blood test results for Heather. “The test should be done again, there’s something wrong” Elizabeth said. Alexis wasn’t happy to find Heather was her cellmate.

Thursday

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) introduced himself to Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson). “If Lucky knew about his sister’s condition he’d move heaven and earth to get to her” Isaiah told Dante. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) visited Lulu and told her why he tries to help people. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) came to Bobbie’s to pick up and order for Isaiah. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told her that Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) went to find Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). “I don’t know Jason that well but Anna…I’d put my life in her hands any day of the week” Jordan told Josslyn. Holly (Emma Samms) was at a casino with Sidwell having a drink at the bar when she stopped Anna and Jason enter. Anna ordered champagne and Jason beer. Anna saw Holly and told Jason it made sense she was Sidwell’s girlfriend, adding she didn’t put it together when Isaiah said Sidwell called his girlfriend English. Anna told Jason she wasn’t sure Holly would help them. Cyrus told Lulu he’s sorry he wasn’t a liver donor for her. Jordan and Josslyn talked about the miracle of organ donation. Josslyn refused Jordan’s money saying Isaiah and her food was on the house forever. Dante asked Isaiah questions about Lucky and Sidwell. “If there’s anyone who could get out of this mess, it’s Lucky” Isaiah told Dante. Cyrus told Lulu he was sorry for what she was going through. “I won’t give up on you Lulu, someone I will help you” Cyrus vowed. Rick (Rick Hearst) thanked Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) for allowing him to buy her a cup of coffee. He wanted to buy her a meal but understood she wanted to take things smoothly. Elizabeth told him they weren’t going anywhere. “Miracles may not be scientifically proven but I believe in them” Isaiah told Dante. Sidwell noticed Anna and commented on her. Holly pretended she was jealous. Because Sidwell didn’t know Anna and Jason, he wanted to invite them to join them. Anna told Jason it was likely Holly was running a con but felt if she knew about Lulu’s condition, she’d help them. Elizabeth told Rick she’d had a hard time moving on from Franco’s loss and her relationship with Finn (Michael Easton) ended badly so she didn’t want to put herself or her boys through another bad relationship. Anna told Jason she’d needed his help to grab Sidwell’s phone and copy the data chip onto the device Brennan (Charles Mesure) gave her. Gio (Giovanni Mazza) came to Bobbie’s. After ordering a BLT, he and Josslyn talked about the something going on between Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard). Rocco arrived at GH and told Dante “I needed to see mom.” Cyrus visited Isaiah. He told him he was Lulu’s uncle. Then, they talked about football. Dante told Rocco while they are awaiting a liver donor, his mother’s condition has worsened. Jordan entered Isaiah’s room and ordered Cyrus to leave. Isaiah flashed a surprise look. Josslyn told Gio that her mother and Sonny had a toxic relationship and were like a rubber band that no matter how far you pulled it apart, always snapped back together. Anna and Jason arranged for Jason to sit next to Sidwell at the poker table. Jason “accidentally” spilled a glass of champagne on Sidwell’s jacket and commented he was sure Sidwell didn’t want to play in a wet jacket. Sidwell took the jacket off and put it behind his chair. Josslyn told Gio it wasn’t her choice to make whether her mom went back to Sonny. Elizabeth told Rick there wasn’t a chance of a relationship between them down the road. Rick told Elizabeth she didn’t have to shield herself from him because other than Molly (Kate Vaganos), she’s the only other person he’d do anything for. Jordan told Isaiah about Cyrus’ crime before giving him the food she got him from Bobbie’s. Rocco sat by his mother’s bedside and told Lulu he had enough strength to give her. “I haven’t told Sidwell I know you” Holly told Anna. “That part is blatantly certain” Anna said then walked over to Jason and wished him luck before lifting Sidwell’s phone from his jacket pocket. Isaiah thanked Jordan for saving his life, from a drug kingpin and for the french fries. Rick agreed to be friends and asked her for a french fry. Sidwell warned Jason of the harsh penalty at the casino for those who don’t pay their debt. As Anna was putting the chip in Sidwell’s phone, Holly approached her and commented on her having a phone that doesn’t belong to her.

Friday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Portia (Brooke Kerr) enjoy a night out at The Savoy. Drew (Cameron Mathison) entered with Nina (Cynthia Watros). Ned (Wally Kurth) assured Michael (Chad Duell) he’d track ELQ majority stakeholder Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) down. Holly (Emma Samms) confronted Anna (Finola Hughes) about having her hands on a phone that didn’t belong to her. A beaten up Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) was thrown into a cell. Sidwell was ready to take his winnings and woman and leave. But Jason (Steve Burton) told him their night wasn’t over yet. Nina and Portia greeted each other and praised each other’s dresses. After Drew and Nina walked away, Portia told Curtis to have his exit plan in place in case he needed it. But Curtis said things were looking up. “You need to direct your attention for the final push for votes” Nina told Drew “I think it’s time for you to turn the reins over at Aurora.” Ned told Michael he’s spoken with the ELQ lawyers about arranging to stop Valentin from using ELQ funds. Before they came to blows over business, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) told Michael she could use a night on the town. “Way to clear a room” Lois told Ned when they were alone. Jason revealed a card up the sleeve of the woman sitting next to him. Sidwell insisted he didn’t know that woman and hadn’t cheated. Jason said he’d take another fifty thousand and a fresh deck. Holly offered to cut Anna in. But Anna said she wasn’t interested in Sidwell’s money. “This is about Lulu,” Anna told Holly. Lucky had a hallucination of Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Sidwell’s valet listened as Anna told Holly about Lulu needing a liver transplant and how they needed to find Lucky. Holly said she saw Lucky yesterday but didn’t have the opportunity to help him. She told Anna how regardless of how good Anna and Jason were, Sidwell’s compound was impenetrable. Anna told Holly it would have to be an inside job. Jason won the poker hand. Drew told Curtis he wanted to make him acting CEO of Aurora. “Lois, why is it so important that I get along with Sonny?” Ned asked. Nina told Portia she’s seeing Drew’s good qualities. Michael and Willow entered The Savoy. Willow wasn’t happy when she saw Drew there. Curtis was surprised Drew hadn’t asked Michael. Drew said Michael’s attention was elsewhere. Sidwell left the table and went to the bar. Holly told him his good luck charm had returned. Anna told Jason he had to keep winning because Sidwell liked competition and it could help them. Ned told Lois because she ditched her accent, he didn’t know whether he could trust this new woman she’d become. Sidwell changed his mind about leaving when Anna asked to be directed to the high roller table. He put a priceless bracelet on the table. Willow asked Neeka to tell Michael she wasn’t feeling well and had to go home. Drew said he could kill Michael. Lucky told the hallucination of Elizabeth he thought about her and their family all the time. The hallucination of Elizabeth told Lucky he couldn’t face his family knowing he was flawed. The hallucination of Elizabeth told Lucky to come home. “Tell me Lucky, are you brave enough to come back to your family?” Holly told Sidwell to invite his competitor back to the camp where he had cash and could win back her bracelet. After Holly walked away, Sidwell’s valet told him he’d want to hear the private conversation he witnessed between his competitor’s girlfriend and his. Nina told Michael he was the natural choice for acting CEO of Aurora. Drew assured Willow nothing would ever happen between them. Michael was surprised when Drew told him he asked Curtis to be acting CEO, reminding Curtis didn’t have much C-Suite experience. Drew told Michael he figured he wanted to focus on the situation at ELQ. Sidwell invited Anna and Jason back to his camp. Lucky vowed he wouldn’t die today as he worked to pick the lock. Out of Anna and Jason’s earshot, Sidwell told Holly she’d get her necklace back and Anna and Jason would get what’s coming to them.
