A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At GH, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) talked about Lulu’s transplant and how her potential Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) had to be found and brought home from a dangerous place. Willow commented that’s what Drew (Cameron Mathison) did for her. Portia (Brooke Kerr) was surprised when she saw Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) name on the new hires. TJ (Taj Bellows) came to see Curtis (Donnell Turner) at The Savoy and told him he didn’t know where Molly (Kristen Vaganos) was. Molly came to Brown Dog Bar. She sat at the bar and ordered a drink. Brennan (Charles Mesure) interrupted Robert (Trista Rogers) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) eating chinese food and reading their fortunes. At Bobbie’s, Josslyn (Eden McCoy) told Carly (Laura Wright) she hated she was putting Sonny (Maurice Benard) first instead of herself. Gio (Giovanni Mazza) found Brook Lyn (Amanda Setton) making brownies for Violet’s (Jophelle Love) school bake sale. Josslyn told Carly how Michael (Chad Duell) assured her what Carly was doing was for the good of the family. Robert introduced his sister-in-law Felicia Scorpio. Felicia added it was formerly Jones. Jack talked about missing Frisco (Jack Wagner) at the bureau. Felicia wanted information about Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) and the search for Lucky. Dex (Evan Hofer) entered the Brown Dog Bar and asked Molly how she was doing and offered to keep her company. TJ told Curtis how he and Molly have been avoiding each other because it’s been easier. Portia asked Terry (Cassadnra James) why she hadn’t given her the heads up that Brad had been rehired at GH. Willow and Elizabeth talked about Drew’s attributes. Josslyn asked Carly whether Sonny would give up everything in his life like Jason did to protect her. Felicia asked Jack what was in it for him by helping find Lucky. Curtis told TJ he and Molly need to support each other. Molly sadly told Dex how the universe must be trying to tell her she shouldn’t have a child because Kristina (Kate Mansi) was literally thrown out a window. She commented on all the plans she had for her baby. Portia told Terry she would keep an eye on Brad. Carly introduced Josslyn to Jack when he entered Bobbie’s. He assured it was a misunderstanding when he was accused of trying to kidnap Carly. Portia met with Trina (Tabayana Ali) and told her because Heather’s (Alley Mills) cobalt levels hadn’t changed, it was unlikely she’d be released from prison. Molly told Dex being in court was her happy place. Felicia commented to Robert that Brennan may be trying to get in Carly’s good graces by helping to find Lucky. Jack told Carly about being summoned to Robert’s office and questioned about Anna and Lucky’s activities in Nairobi. She asked how he’d gone from Pentonville to the head of the WSB. Gio told Brook Lynn it was cool how she and Chase (Josh Swickward) were trying to do the right thing for Violet. He talked about how great a mom his mother was and said Brook Lynn’s kids would be so lucky when she had them. Jack told Carly him being there had nothing to do with bureau business. TJ told Curtis how he and Molly have always supported each other and were always a team. TJ expressed his fear of losing Molly and wasn’t sure their history was enough to guarantee them a future. Elizabeth told Terry maybe she gave Brad a second chance because she saw something worthy in him that could make a difference. Trina told Portia she felt free knowing Heather was never getting out of prison and felt like a wait had been lifted. “I’m so glad things are finally turning out the way they are supposed to. Portia then thought about how she used her work badge to get into the lab and changed Heather’s test results. Portia said she was glad things were looking up for her daughter.

Tuesday

“Why hang on to the past when you have a perfectly good future staring at you right in the face” Natalia (Eva LaRue) said when Sonny (Maurice Benard) complained about his new espresso machine. “What aren’t you telling me?” Carly (Laura Wright) asked Jack (Cahrles Mesure) after he told her Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) were invited to Sidwell’s compound. At GH, Molly (Kristen Vagnos) arranged for breakfast with TJ. He asked where she was last night. Kristina (Kate Mansi) thanked Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) for helping her move from her mom’s house back to her apartment. She told Dante she was worried about her mom. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) woke up in her cell at Pentonville and was greeted by Heather (Alley Mills) and was dismayed it wasn’t a dream. Jack told Carly he was worried about the too many unknown variables involved with Anna and Jason at Sidwell’s compound. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) entered Bobbie’s and Carly introduced him to Jack. Brennan left so Carly could talk with her lawyer alone. Diane reminded Carly as Sonny’s alibi, it didn’t look good her flirting with Brennan. Natalia told Sonny about a former employer at a cafe in San Juan who had old appliances. Heather told Alexis she’d do what she could to help her and told her she was sorry over her almost losing her daughter and losing her grandchild. Molly told TJ about going to the Brown Dog after her mother was taken off to Pentonville and how she ran into Dex (Evan Hofer). Chase (Josh Swickward) arrived at Kristina’s apartment to ask her some questions. Diane told Carly she had to do everything she could to make Sonny’s alibi sticks. Diane told Carly she had to solidify the alibi by asking Sonny to move in with her or move in with him. Diane told Carly she was being watched and reminded Sonny could be charged with murder and she as an accessory. “So for now, Operation Strange Bedfellows remains in effect” Diane said then left Bobbie’s. Sonny praised the espresso Natalia made. Molly told TJ she thinks her mother was protecting Kristina. Dante left Kristina’s apartment and called someone and said Kristina was about to do something she shouldn’t. Chase told Kristina he wanted to ask her whereabouts the night John Cates (Adam Harrington) was murdered. The guard appeared at the cell and let Alexis out saying she was taking her to see her lawyer. TJ told Molly she didn’t have to go through this alone. Molly had to leave when she received a message about work. Natalia asked Sonny how Alexis was holding up and told him to let her know if there was anything she could do to help. Carly walked in and saw Sonny and Natalia together. Martin (Michael E. Knight) told Alexis he was retained by Sonny Cornithos to represent her. Alexis told Martin she was there because she was trying to protect Kristina. Martin told Alexis he needed to know everything. Kristina gave Chase a statement regarding her whereabouts. Chase told Kristina he checked and her car hadn’t left The Metro Court garage since her accident and asked whether she drove her mom’s car. Stella (Vernee Watson) entered the breakroom and told TJ she ran into Molly. TJ told Stella how he was starting to resent Molly. After Natalia left, Carly told Sonny according to Diane, they needed to fall back in love. Diane arrived at Kristina’s apartment and pretended she was surprised to see Chase. Diane said it was nice if he was there to check on his partner’s sister. But if he was there in an official capacity, he had to make an appointment with Kristina’s lawyer. After Chase left, Diane told Kristina not another word. Alexis told Martin how she found the gun in Kristina’s purse and was scared her daughter would hurt herself in her fragile state, which was why she got rid of it. Martin said Alexis had to amend her statement. But Alexis didn’t want to do that, especially Kristina went to the Quartermaines to kill Cates. Carly told Sonny she wouldn’t lie to Donna that they were getting back together. Dante asked Chase whether he was following him when Chase showed up at GH. Chase questioned Dante about Diane Miller showing up at Kristina’s apartment. Diane told Kristina what she said to Chase was inadmissible because she did it without a lawyer. Kristina told Diane she may have incriminated herself. Diane urged Kristina to find an attorney. Alexis told Martin if anyone were tried for a murder they didn’t commit it would be her. Stella offered to go with TJ when he visited Irene’s grave. Chase warned Dante he’d turn him in if he overstepped on his investigation again. Cary and Sonny agreed to have a public dinner together. Martin told Alexis his strategy for getting an acquittal “Your only chance of winning the case is to prove John Cates was murdered by the man paying my fee.”

Wednesday

“Hang in there cuz, Jason’s gonna find Lucky and we’re going to get you that liver you need” Carly (Laura Wright) assured Lulu. Sam (Kelly Monaco) approached Carly after she left Lulu’s room and said she needed her help to help her mother. Martin (Michael E. Knight) reminded Alexis (Nancy Grahan) he was representing her, not Kristina (Kate Mansi) and she needed to let him do his job. Kristina told her father he needed to hear all of it about what happened that night. Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) told Jordan (Tanisha Harper) her son Dr. Ashford (Taj Bellows) may have a different assessment of his condition. Sidwell told Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) “First we’re going to find out why you’re really here.” Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) continued to pick the cell lock. Alexis tried to discourage Martin from taking the case to trial, afraid Kristina would incriminate herself if she were in court and saw the case going badly for her. Martin told Alexis her only option was to go to trial and let him point suspicion in Sonny’s direction. Kristina admitted to Sonny she went to the Quartermaines to kill John Cates (Adam Harrington). Sam urged Carly to come clean about her lie she was with Sonny in order to save Alexis. Jordan told Isaiah about losing her grandchild and how the call she received was about delivery of the headstone. Lucky learned from a guard that Sidwell had some “fancy guests” visiting. Anna told Sidwell she was into diamond and platinum so they had that in common and added “I want in.” Alexis told Martin if he targeted Sonny, Kristina would try to defend him. Alexis told Martin that John Cates was hated by everybody and his list of enemies were impressive. “Find one and point the finger at them.”Sonny told Kristina he understood what he was going through. Sam understood Carly protecting Sonny was like breathing but added her alibi was keeping Sonny out of prison and keeping her mother in. Jordan thanked Isaiah for listening. Holly (Emma Samms) left the room so Sidwell could conduct business before the game. Anna told Sidwell that Jason was her security and she could help him secure his funds at a Swiss bank which would give him more transaction flexibility. “Give me a reference,” Sidwell told Anna. AfterAnna’s references checked out, Sidwell’s cadence changed and he said “I’d prefer something less convenient.” When the lock tumbler turned, Jason said he was out of there. Holly appeared at the cell and said “Perfect timing, I’m here to rescue you.” Sam commented Carly was the one who asked Jason to risk his life by going to Africa to bring Lucky home. Jordan came to visit Alexis and told her Irene’s handstone was going to be placed soon. “You may be the only one who knows how I feel about the loss of Irene” Alexis told Jordan, who asked whether Alexis was planning to help Kristina take Irene from TJ and Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Molly met with Martin and said her Uncle Sonny hiring him to represent her mother confirmed her suspicions about his involvement. Sonny told Kristina how you always carry the burden when you decide to end someone’s life. Kristina asked whether her father was carrying that burden. Sam asked Carly to recant her statement. Holly told Lucky they couldn’t leave Sidwell’s guests to twist in the wind. When he caught them, Sidwell said “My darling English..you disappoint me.” Alexis told Jordan she told Kristina she wouldn’t choose between her daughters and hoped once the baby was born and Kristina saw how happy TJ and Molly were, she wouldn’t go through it. Alexis told Jordan she was looking forward to being a grandmother with her. Sonny told Kristina she had to trust him that her mother would be okay. Isaiah didn’t agree with Carly that Jason-one man- could free Lucky from Sidwell. Holly, Lucky, Anna and Jason were all handcuffed. Holly told Sidwell her connection to Anna was that she was married to her ex-husband and ruined her marriage. When she saw her, she thought she was trying to do it again. Holly said her connection to Lucky was that she was just being nice. Lucky said they all knew what was going on. “Those two are trying to take you for everything you’re worth.” Alexis and Jordan said TJ and Molly would always be their son and daughter even if something happened with TJ and Molly. Sonny gave her word as her father that they all would be okay. Sidwell said he could kill them all right there. But instead decided on some poker games with Jason and Lucky: If Jason won, he and Anna would go free. If Lucky won, he and Holly would go free. But if he won, they’d all die.

Thursday

Tracy (Jane Eliott) waited on Gregory’s bench in the park for Stella (Vernee Watson). Although Stella was less than five minutes late, Tracy berated her for non punctuality. Stella asked who Tracy thought she was talking to. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told James to have fun with his Uncle Cody (Josh Kelly). Drew (Cameron Mathison) reminded Ned (Wally Kurth) Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) assets being frozen didn’t bode well for ELQ. Drew said Michael (Chad Duell) was the obvious choice for ELQ CEO. Holly (Emma Samms) told Sidwell to kill everyone else if he wanted but not her. Tracy told Stella her tardiness wasn’t the reason she was upset. She told Stella it was about the insubordination of Quartermaine’s cook and stablehand. When Tracy gave her the details, Stella was sure there was more to the problem than Tracy was saying. Cody told James he’s glad to finally have a family. Maxie (Kristen Storms) told Sasha she was worried about Lulu who was her best friend and always would be. Drew said Ned knew Michael should be ELQ CEO immediately. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and Michael entered the room. Sidwell told Holly because she kept secrets from him, he didn’t trust her. Holly and Anna were removed from the room. Sidwell demanded Jason and Lucky be secured to their seats and told them they were playing for their lives. Stella told Tracy she was so worked up because of how she felt about Cody. James called Cody the most awesome person he knew and asked why he hadn’t believed in himself. “For the record, Sasha is a part of my family,” Cody told James. Anna looked for something to pick the cell door lock. Then, she told Holly when she got out of there to go to Robert (Tristan Rogers) and tell him to tell their daughter she loved her. Sidwell had to take care of something before the card game started but warned Jason and Lucky not to try anything because there were armed guards outside the door. Once they were alone, Lucky asked Jason “What the hell are you doing here?” “We came to take you home,” Jason answered. Willow left the room to let Ned, Drew and Michael discuss business. Ned told them he didn’t want the two against one dynamic. After Drew left the room, Ned told Michael he trusted him “It’s Drew I don’t trust.” Stella told Tracy she’s talked about Cody a lot so it was obvious how much he meant to her. Tracy said she’s grown to care about Cody and he’d become a friend like Finn (Michael Easton) and Gregory (Gregory Harrison). Jason told Lucky how Lulu had a medical crisis and needed a liver transplant so there was no time…he needed to get home. Sidwell returned to the room to start the game. Tracy realized she owed Sasha and Cody an apology. She apologized to Stella for scolding her for being late and promised it wouldn’t happen again. Ned told Michael he’d never fully trust Drew and if Michael were smart, he wouldn’t either. When he came to the boathouse, Willow urged Drew to stay away from her because she had feelings for him that jeopardized her marriage. Sidwell and Lucky had good hands. But Jason had to fold. Sidwell asked the guards to take Jason to the cell. “Get home safe” Jason said to Lucky as he was dragged out of the room. After Jason was gone, Sidwell told Lucky that Jason was naive if he thought Lucky was getting out of there. Maxie asked Ned to watch Cody while she took care of Deception business. James asked if kissing people on the lips made people happy, why did it make Willow sad? Sasha told Cody she’s happy to be a part of his family. Jason was put back into the cell and Holly was taken out. Jason told Anna he lost. “I knew you would,” she said sadly. Lucky asked to reset the terms, telling Sidwell if he won the next hand he’d go free. Holly was brought into the room. Sidwell told Lucky he agreed it was time to reset the terms. Tracy walked into the stables and found Cody and Sasha on the table kissing passionately. Maxie and Michael talked about making the special people in their lives a priority. “Aren’t we both lucky to have found our person?” Maxie asked Michael. Willow told Drew she wished he could walk into a room and it didn’t affect her. She said he could help her. “Stay away from me…please” Willow asked Drew. “I heard Willow tell Aunt Nina that she felt guilty about kissing Drew,” James told Ned. Anna tried to use the clip to pick the handcuff lock but it wasn’t strong enough to work. Jason urged Anna to keep trying then kissed her. Holly managed to grab Sidwell’s gun. But when she briefly turned her head to see how Lucky was doing getting free, Sidwell overpowered her.

Friday

Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) had a very public dinner at The Metro Court, complete with oysters and champagne. Lucy (Lynn Herring) entered with Natalia (Eva LaRue). Upon spotting them, Lucy told Natalia “That could be a disaster.” Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) and Robert (Tristan Rogers) entered and sat on the terrace. Tracy (Jane Eliott) told Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) not to leave because what she had to say involved her too. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told Felicia (Kristina Wagner) Lulu’s only chance was for Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason (Steve Burton) to bring Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) home. Lucky managed to get Sidwell’s gun. But Sidwell grabbed Holly (Emma Samms). The guards told Anna and Jason they hoped they were saying goodbye. Cody (Josh Kelly) told Tracy if she fired Sasha, he was going too. And he knew she’d miss her because he would miss her. Martin (Michael E. Knight) entered The Metro Court. Sonny left the table and went over to the bar to speak with the attorney. Martin assured Sonny he planned to do whatever it took to get Alexis (Nancy Grahan) out of Pentonville. Diane told Robert she met WSB head Brennan (Charles Mesure). Jack told an agent Claudette if the WSB didn’t intervene, Devane and Morgan wouldn’t make it out of there alive. With a look, Holly signaled Lucky and broke away from Sidwell’s grasp. Lucky was able to get Sidwell’s weapon. Anna and Jason fought off the guards. Sonny approached Lucy and Natalia’s table and interrupted Lucy talking about him and Carly. Sidwell got the upper hand and threw Lucky onto the poker table. While he was being choked, Lucky called out for Holly. Anna and Jason were taken down to the courtyard. They were ordered to get down on their knees. Carly came to Jack’s office because Brennan had ignored her calls. Jack told her about the assault planned, adding he hoped it wasn’t too late. Before they were executed, an explosion rang out. Tracy apologized to Cody and Sasha. Two of the guards ran off. Anna and Jason asked each other whether they were okay. Sonny told Lucy he came over to talk about Deception with Natalia.Lucy went to the bar and greeted Martin. Anna and Jason left the courtyard and saved Lucky. “What’s going on between you and your ex wife?” Natalia asked Sonny. Tracy told Cody and Sasha “Get a room. With a door that locks.” Elizabeth told Felicia if it wasn’t for her kids and GH, she would have lost it when Lucky left. Martin told Lucy he’s been back a few days and was called in to represent Alexis Davis. Lucy asked why he didn’t call her. Diane left her table with Robert. Sonny told Natalia his relationship with Carly was complicated. Diane approached them and asked “Where’s Carly?” Jack told Carly the building where Anna, Jason and Lucky were was bombed and Sidwell’s paid mercenaries were probably trying to get away. Which would give Anna, Jason and Lucky the chance to get to the airstrip where a WSB plane was waiting to take them out of the country. Anna, Jason and Lucky went out to the courtyard. “What now?” Lucky asked. Suddenly, a jeep appeared and honked the horn. “Don’t just stand there, get in!” Holly, who was driving the vehicle, ordered. “Where to?” she asked. Holly was told to go to the airstrip. Diane told Sonny his freedom depended on his alibi. Sonny assured without a doubt Carly wouldn’t let him down. Elizabeth told Felicia how GH helped her get through the hard times. She commented how she always felt Lucky was looking for something missing. Lucky thanked Anna and Jason for saving him and asked about Lulu. Jack told Carly that the WSB plane was in prohibited airspace and hopefully could make it to international airspace before it was shot down. Martin told Lucy the new version of him didn’t want to spend time with her any more than the old version. “One of the perks of self improvement is knowing when to cut your losses. Give my best to Scott Baldwin” Martin told Lucy then left. Natalia told Sonny she knew better than to get involved with someone she worked with. Jack got word and told a relieved Carly the plane was safely in international airspace. An angry Sidwell wanted to go after Holly when he realized she’d stolen his diamond. Aboard the plane, Holly looked at Sidwell’s diamonds in her bag. Anna told Lucky about Lulu’s condition. Lucky made a call to GH and was surprised when Elizabeth answered the phone.
