A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Terry (Cassandra James) told Laura (Genie Francis) the transplant team found a potential complication with Lulu’s surgery. She suggested they go to her office to talk. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) gives Cody (Josh Kelly) the news about Lulu’s donor. Sam (Kelly Monaco) met with Drew (Cameron Mathison) in the solarium. She told him she needed to speak with him about Scout but was waiting for someone else. Jason (Steve Burton) entered. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) realized Maxie (Kristen Storms) spoke with her mother. Robert told Holly (Emma Samms) Sasha gave him the news and a DNA test was on its way to the bureau lab. He asked why Holly never told him he had a daughter. When Tracy (Jane Eliott) entered, Violet (Jophelle Love) told her she didn’t want to leave without saying goodbye. Terry told Laura and Lucky that Lulu had a condition that would make surgery difficult. Lucas (Van Hansis) approached Elizabeth and Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson)and said he was glad he found her. Chase (Josh Swickward) got news the flight was delayed. Violet told Tracy she’d miss them. Holly explained how when she thought Robert had died, she left Port Charles and went into hiding to have the baby. Maxie asked Sasha why Holly would lie about this. Dante felt guilty the woman he loved was going to be the donor for the other woman he loved. Sam told Drew and Jason that she was a donor match for Lulu. Terry explained Lulu had portal vein thrombosis, which was a blood clot that had to be fixed. Terry thought this wouldn’t make the surgery successful. Robert asked why she didn’t tell him they had a daughter when she told him about Ethan. Tracy suggested a last tea party and said Violet should focus on the fun they’ll have the next time they see each other. Lucas, Elizabeth and Isaiah discussed Lulu’s failed ventilator. Terry explained Sam would be informed of the new development and would have to decide whether the surgery would move forward. There was also the fact the surgical team had never performed a transplant surgery under that complication, which decreased Lulu’s odds. Lucky felt he could raise the odds. Tracy called Uri into the room. Violet thanked Uri for everything he did for her and for playing Hide and Go Seek with her. Uri told Violet he’d miss her. Tracy asked Uri to pack up her mother’s tea set and send it to Violet’s new home in Seattle. Violet suggested Tracy keep one cup to use when they had a tea party during a video chat. Lucky interrupted Lucas, Elizabeth and Isaiah and asked to speak with Isaiah alone. Lucas and Elizabeth took a look at Lulu’s chart. Lucky asked Isaiah whether he had any colleagues who could perform Lulu’s surgery. When he said there were a few people but they’d never make it in time, Lucky asked whether Isaiah performed a liver transplant on someone with portal vein thrombosis. Sam asked Drew whether Scout could stay there and asked him and Jason to spend as much time with Scout and Danny as possible while she was recuperating from the surgery. Jason said they’d do what she wanted. Maxie told Sasha regardless of the things Holly did, she always ended up on the side of good. Holly told Robert that Sasha and Cody’s relationship forced her hand. Holly told Robert to look after their daughter because when the DNA test results came back and she had to end her relationship with Cody, Sasha would hate her even more. Sasha apologized for not telling Maxie about Holly because she spent most of her time hating the part of herself that had Holly as a mom. Sasha vowed she wouldn’t let Holly take Cody away from her. Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) found Laura in the GH chapel. He told her she had to be strong for everyone so now it was her turn to do whatever she needed and he’d be there for her. Laura told Kevin she had to believe Sam would go through with the surgery. Isaiah told Lucky he performed a liver transplant on someone with portal vein thrombosis and they survived. But the reason he ended up in Africa was because of another surgery when he promised the family the patient would be okay and they didn’t make it. Violet told Chase she wanted to visit grandpa’s bench before they left. Violet told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) she was the one she was gonna miss most. Jason thanked Sam for doing this for Lulu. Sam left to find Dante. Dante asked Cody to take the kids out on the trail while Sam was recuperating from the surgery. Laura tried to remain hopeful Lulu would survive. Lucky asked Isaiah to just say it if he thought the surgery was hopeless. But if he didn’t, Lucky pleaded with Isaiah to perform the surgery. Violet had tearful goodbyes with Brook Lynn and Tracy. Holly made a call and told Mr. Corinthos they had some business. Robert taught about when they were younger and he told Holly they had to stay married for two years because immigration would be watching. Lucky entered the GH chapel with Isaiah and told Laura he found Lulu’s surgeon.

Tuesday

At The Savoy, Curtis (Donnell Turner) gave a speech during his father’s going away party about Marshall (Robert Gossett) stepping out of the shadows and into the spotlight. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) Sam (Kelly Monaco) was Lulu’s donor. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) came to see Sam as her patient advocate to make sure she didn’t feel rushed or have any questions. Maxie (Kristen Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) entered Sam’s hospital room with balloons. Ava (Maura West) asked Rick (Rick Hearst) how he felt about her taking the stand. Holly entered the police commissioner’s office. Before Anna (Finola Hughes) could tell her about the latest development with Sidwell, Holly announced. “Robert and I have a daughter.” Maxie thanked Sam for the gift of donation she’s giving Lulu. Dante told Sonny how happy Rocco was about Sam being Lulu’s donor. Holly told Anna hers and Robert’s daughter was Sasha Gilmore. Anna berated Holly for hurting Robert (Tristan Rogers) by keeping his daughter away from him for over twenty years. Anna said she didn’t think anyone could sink so low when she remembered Sasha was dating Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Holly told Anna she’s lost both Sasha and Robert. Rick got a phone call and told Ava he had to leave. Lucas (Van Hansis) entered Sam’s hospital room and Felicia, Maxie and Spinelli left. Lucas told Sam he couldn’t perform her surgery. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) came to Bobbie’s to pick up her takeout order and saw Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) preparing for Lulu’s surgery. Rick came to GH and told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) the judge vacated Heather’s (Alley Mills) sentence and she’s being released. Dante told Sonny he couldn’t fit the feeling Lulu wouldn’t survive the surgery. While Marshall commented about TJ (Taj Bellows) and Molly (Kate Mansi) working through their loss, Stella (Vernee Watson) noticed their distance. Lucas told Sam operating on her was against hospital procedure. Anna told Holly leaving town would be the best thing for Sasha and Robert. Ava thanked Nina (Cynthia Watros) for meeting her. After hearing the way she talked about Rick, Nina asked whether Ava was falling for her attorney. Rick asked Elizabeth to come with him to The Savoy when he breaks the news to Curtis and Portia (Brooke Kerr) about Heather’s release. Sam agreed to sign anything the lawyers wanted if it meant he’d perform her surgery. Maxie told Spinelli how Lulu told her after the explosion she had wanted to get back together with Dante. Maxie wondered whether she should have told Dante. Rick came to The Savoy and asked to speak with Curtis and Portia in private. But Portia said she wasn’t going anywhere with him and they could talk right there. Dante told Sonny he loved Sam more than he ever thought possible. Anna received an alert from Interpol that Sidwell was spotted at an airport in Miami. Holly came to see Sonny and said she had a business proposition for him. Portia said Rick could say what he needed to say then shouted for those at Marshall’s party to hear “Come on everyone listen, we have some news about Heather Webber.” Rick announced that Heather’s sentence was vacated and she was being released tomorrow.

Wednesday

Holly (Emma Samms) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) “Any friend of Luke is a friend of hers” and suggested they do business together. Sonny commented that Holly must be in some serious trouble if she was throwing Luke’s name around. Before entering the DA’s office, Anna (Finola Hughes) left a message for Jason (Steve Burton) about Sidwell being spotted in Miami and urged him to be careful. “You know, don’t you?” Robert (Tristan Rogers) asked when he saw the look on Anna’s face. “You have another daughter,” Anna answered. Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) asked Lucas (Van Hansis) whether he was ready for their surgery tomorrow. Portia (Brooke Kerr) angrily thanked Rick (Rick Hearst) for unleashing a monster. Robert told Anna that Holly would never intentionally hurt him. “You’re going to forgive her aren’t you?” Anna asked Sonny. Holly asked Sonny to keep their negotiation between them. Just then, Diane (Carolyn Henessy) entered. Lucas told Isaiah that Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman) was his mother. Isaiah called Bobbie a legend. Curtis accused Rick of unleashing a murderer in order to get a hefty payoff from the civil case for the faulty hip replacement. Molly (Kate Vaganas) told Curtis her father wasn’t to blame. Curtis asked Molly then who was. Since he was otherwise occupied, Diane told Sonny they could catch up later and left. After asking his assurance on Mr. Morgan, Holly pour the bag of diamonds on his desk. Robert told Anna forgiveness was something else, adding Holly wouldn’t lie about something that was easily to prove. Isaiah asked Lucas how he could perform surgery on his sister and cousin. Molly defended her father for Rick doing his duty as an attorney. TJ (Taj Bellows) said Rick didn’t need to take the case then left. Before Rick and Molly left, Curtis asked whether Rick intended to file the civil case and collect blood money for he and Heather (Alley Mills). Curtis and Portia wanted Trina (Tabayna Ali) to come home with them tonight. But Trina said “There’s no way I’m moving back home.” Josslyn (Eden McCoy) asked Dex (Evan Hofer) whether he ever wished he’d killed Heather. “All the time” Dex answered. Trina told her parents she wasn’t going to let Heather Webber control her life. “I’m going home to my apartment.” Lucas told Isaiah he was doing the surgery because his sister asked him. Isaiah told Lucas he was doing it because Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) asked him. Molly suggested Rick leave before TJ got home. Molly told Rick he didn’t have to take Heather’s case. She told him it wasn’t too late dropping Ava Jerome (Maura West) as a client. Robert told Anna he knew the minute she walked into his office, he knew Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) was his daughter. “She had my mom’s eyes,” Robert said. “Who are you running from?” Sonny asked Holly. Lucas wasn’t surprised to see TJ at GH because he wasn’t scheduled to work tonight. TJ said being at GH was better than being at a bar. “Molly I’m not doing this for Ava…I’m doing it for you” Rick told his daughter. Sonny told Holly he had to make some calls because it wasn’t the type of merchandise he usually dealt with. He agreed to do business with her as long as he got a sizable cut. Robert asked Anna to let him be the one to tell Robin (Kimberly McCullough). Dex vowed it would be the last thing Heather ever did. Portia said she felt like asking the judge if it were Molly or Josslyn Jacks who were the targets of a serial killer and not a young black woman, would Heather Webber have been let out? When there was a knock on her apartment door, Trina grabbed a weapon. It was Gio (Giovanni Mazza) who came to see if she was okay. Diane came to Robert’s office and told him she saw Sonny in a business meeting with Holly. Sonny wanted thirty percent, reminding he was the one taking the risk. Holly told Sonny she needed time to think about his terms. But before leaving, Holly gave Sonny a diamond in good faith. TJ told Lucas about Heather Webber going free. He said Molly was more present when she was defending her father than she was for him. “It’s my job as a lawyer and as a father to present the facts of the case and make you believe it was an accident” Rick told Molly, adding it would help her heal. Dex vowed to do whatever it took to keep Josslyn safe. Gio told Trina how he expressed feelings of sadness and happiness through music. Portia told Curtis because Heather wouldn’t want to leave Port Charles because her grandson was there, Trina couldn’t be in the same city as Heather. Molly told Rick she couldn’t live with it unless Ava was held accountable. She called this the emptiest house he’d ever seen and it was supposed to be full with a baby. “I need you to leave. Dad…go” Molly asked Rick. Lucas told TJ he hoped he and Molly did better than he and Brad (Parry Shen). “I don’t want to lose Molly. We’ve taken so many hits…I don’t know how much more we can take.” TJ told Lucas. Sonny called Jason and said he needed to talk with him about a business proposition. Robert told Diane that Holly in business with Sonny wasn’t the worst thing he heard today. Anna told Holly about Sidwell being spotted in Miami and said “It’s a long way for him to come just because you hurt his feelings.” Anna asked whether Holly took something from Sidwell. Holly denied she did. “Stay away from Robert, the last thing he needed was for you to make him a target.” Gio asked Trina whether he could spend the night on the couch. Curtis vowed to Portia that Trina wasn’t leaving town…Heather was and he’d handle it.

Thursday

Sonny told Jason (Steve Burton) it was about time he told him what happened in Africa. Scout told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) it was a big deal mom was saving someone’s life. Carly (Laura Wright) told Jack (Charles Mesure) she couldn’t see him now because she was in the middle of something important. Carly hung up the phone and went into Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) hospital room. Laura (Genie Francis) asked Lulu to hold on a little longer because help was on the way. Lucas (Van Hansis) found a bag from Eckert’s in his locker with a note he shouldn’t operate on an empty stomach. Parry appeared and commented how Lucas used to like Eckert’s, unless he was hungry for something else. Rick (Rick Hearst) visited Heather (Alley Mills) at Pentonville and told her the judge vacated her sentence and she was a free woman. Curtis (Donnell Turner) met with Dr. Steven Webber (Scott Reeves) “Heather Webber’s prodigal son.” Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) urged Portia (Brooke Kerr) to watch out for Rick. But Portia said Rick was the one who should watch out. Steven thanked Curtis for paying for his trip. Curtis told Steven when he left “I want you to take your mother with you.” Heather was elated and said Rick gave her a second chance and she was going to make the most of it. Lucas told Brad he didn’t want him crossing any boundaries. Sam told Carly she wished the surgery would get started. Jason told Sonny what happened at Sidwell’s compound. Sonny told Jason that Holly gave him the diamond and had much more. He added Holly Sutton was trouble that may be worth it. Rick asked Heather whether there was anyone who would take her in. Curtis told Steven he wanted him to reunite with his mother and take her far away from Port Charles and would make it worth his while. Alexis called Danny a good big brother. Sonny told Jason the haul for the diamonds would be close to a hundred million. Jason told him that Sidwell was still alive and was after Holly. Jack interrupted Sam and Carly and said he needed to speak with Ms. Spencer. Rocco said by his mother’s bedside and told Lulu not to give up. Jack and Carly spoke outside GH. Jack told Carly he needed her to convince Jason to cooperate with him and give him the information he may be holding back on what happened in Africa. After Sonny left, Jason received a call from Carly. Portia allowed Brad to leave work early to go to a Woodchucks game. Curtis told Steven he had a friend running for office and could help get his medical license back. Alexis brought Danny and Scout to see their mom before surgery. Scout gave her mother flowers. Alexis called her daughter amazing for saving her. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told Rocco he could stay at GH and not go to school if Sam said it was okay. Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) told Laura it was time. Jason met with Carly and wasn’t happy to see Jack. Carly told him she needed a favor and they (she and Jack) were both asking. Elizabeth told Lucas how Brad ended up working at GH again. Curtis told Steven if Heather refused to leave Port Charles with him, he had far less pleasant ways to get rid of her. Heather called Elizabeth and told her about her release. She asked Elizabeth to come pick her up for Franco’s sake. Elizabeth turned around and saw Rick had entered GH. Lucas asked Brad whether he manipulated his way into a job at GH. Brad admitted he wasn’t proud of it but he did mention Britt’s (Kelly Thiebauld) name. Lucas said Britt would be proud of him. Rick suggested moving in too if Elizabeth let Heather move in. But Elizabeth said he wasn’t helping. Laura told Isaiah her daughter’s been fighting for her life and winning since she was a little girl and would do it again. Sonny came to Sam’s hospital room. She said she was grateful for her people, which included Sonny. Carly told Jason she owed Jack and so did he because he saved his life by ordering the drone strike. Then, Carly left. Jason told Jack that Holly stole a fortune from Sidwell. Then, Jason warned Jack not to hurt Carly. “Bad things tend to happen to people who do,” Jason said. Curtis told Portia that Steven Webber was on board with his plan to take Heather away. Heather was released from Pentonville and surprised to see Elizabeth came to pick her up. Both Heather and Elizabeth were surprised to see Steven. “You got this” Jason told Sam as she was wheeled into surgery with her loved ones there to see her off.

Friday

“I feel like I’m not going to be able to draw a full breath until I know the surgery is a success” Laura (Genie Francis) told Anna (Finola Hughes). Alexis (Nancy Grahan) told Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) that Molly (Kristen Vaganos) may not be speaking to her by the time of Ava’s (Maura West) trial. Heather (Alley Mills) hugged her son and happily said Steven Lars (Scott Reeves) came back for her. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) arrived at the DA’s office. Robert (Tristan Rogers) told Sasha the DNA test results were in and he hadn’t opened them because he didn’t want her to think it was tampered with. Sasha opened the envelope. “What’s it say?” Robert asked. Holly (Emma Samms) came downstairs from the apartment at the Quartermaine stables and introduced herself to Cody (Josh Kelly). “Holly Sutton. I thought it was time we met” Holly said. Diane was furious when Alexis told her Heather’s sentence was vacated and she was getting out of prison today. Steven suggested he and his mother go somewhere to talk. Laura and Anna talked about Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) risking his life for his friend Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson). Sasha thought Holly had tampered with the results when the DNA revealed Robert was her father. She sadly said she and Cody were first cousins. Holly told Cody she was the one who had stolen The Ice Princess. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) returned to GH and told Terry (Cassandra James) about her brother picking up Heather from Pentonville. Heather and Steven entered Bobbie’s. Heather ordered two of their best BLTs. Steven told Heather he had a job in Arizona and wasn’t staying in Port Charles. “And neither are you,” Steven told Heather. Cyrus (Jeff Kober) interrupted Anna and Laura and offered to pray for Lulu. Alexis asked Diane how she felt about Holly Sutton being back in town. Holly told Cody even though he didn’t have a claim to The Ice Princess, she could still make it worth his while. Sasha told Robert having him as a father cost her Cody. Robert told Sasha he’d like to get to know her, but that was up to her. After he prayed for Lulu, Laura asked Cyrus to call first the next time he wanted to see Lulu. After he walked away, Anna sat back down with Laura and they commented it didn’t seem right Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) wasn’t there. Heather told Steven she couldn’t move to Sedona with him because she had family in Port Charles. “I can’t leave Ace.” Sasha came to Crimson and told Nina (Cynthia Watros) she lied to her when she said her mother was dead. Sasha told Nina her mother was back in her life. “Her name is Holly Sutton.” Holly told Cody about a sure thing mark in a high stakes poker game and offered him a 35/60 split to be her partner. Anna assured Laura she wasn’t giving up finding Charlotte. “The two of us will be going strong long after Holly has left for her next con” Diane told Alexis. Cody declined Holly’s offer saying he had everything he wanted. “The guy I used to be is not who I want to be anymore,” Cody told Holly, adding after that thing with the necklace “I got news that changed my life.” Heather finally agreed to come with Steven but told him she had things to take care of first. “My mom only knows how to use people and she doesn’t deserve your empathy” Sasha told Nina. Laura called Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) selfish and not thinking about Charlotte. Heather and Steven entered GH. Heather told Elizabeth she couldn’t stay with her because her son was taking her to Sedonia. Cody told Holly he’d have to give her a hard pass on her offer. Sasha told Nina that Robert Scorpio was her father which made Cody her first cousin. She dreaded telling Cody, but Nina told her she couldn’t put it off. Anna came to see Alexis and asked whether Valentin had contacted her. Alexis offered to check the Cassadine holdings to see whether it will give her any clues into finding Valentin. But agreed Laura was right, it was time for Valentin to return with Charlotte. Diane came to Robert’s office. He told her he had another daughter who was in Port Charles and Diane already knew her. Robert told Diane Sasha Corbin was his daughter and Holly was her mother. When Laura got off the elevator, Heather rushed to her and said she was glad she was there. Sasha demanded Holly to leave when she felt her mother at the Quartermaine stables. Cody was surprised Sasha knew Holly and asked what Holly had done to her. Sasha told Cody that Holly was her mother.
