A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) came to GH. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) told him another patient died of a heart attack like Sam (Kelly Monaco) on her watch. Lucky said it couldn’t be a coincidence. Jason (Steve Burton) came to GH and joined Anna (Finola Hughes). Josslyn (Eden McCoy) came to see Dex (Evan Hofer) and held his hands. “This is real..you’re really gone” Joslyn cried. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told Lulu (Alexa Havins) she needed a reality check. Michael (Chad Duell) Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Carly (Laura Wright) they were on their way to a sleep over adventure. “If you think I’m not going to stop what’s going on here because the children are present, you’re super super wrong” Carly told Nina and Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen). Carly said the kids should sleep in their own beds tonight. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Tracy (Jane Eliott) entered and Michael left the room. Dante told Lulu to think about what it would have done to Rocco (Finn Carter) if he had to tell him he’d accidentally shot her tonight. He told her she had to be smart in her search for Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). Portia (Brooke Kerr) requested to speak with Elizabeth in her office. Elizabeth asked whether Lucky could be there for moral support. Anna told Jason she called him because he’d take care of Josslyn, who was in shock. Jason watched from the door as Josslyn cried over Dex. Ned and Tracy talked about leaking the nanny cam video. Ned sarcastically commented would it make him a real Quartermaine if he withheld his father’s medication why he was dying of a heart attack. Michael returned home before Nina and Willow could leave with the kids. Josslyn told Dex she could feel him still standing there and thanked him for loving her. Josslyn kissed Dex goodbye. Portia told Elizabeth she could either work in an administrative capacity or take time away from the hospital. But no patient care or interaction with patients. Portia explained that it would take time to go through the hours of footage of everyone who walked the halls near Sam and Dex’s rooms. Elizabeth chose the administrative route so it would feel wrong being away from the hospital. Lulu told Dante she felt her window to find Charlotte was closing. Mac (John J. York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) arrived at GH and comforted Anna, who blamed herself because she was the one who convinced Dex to join the force. Felicia told Anna it wasn’t her fault and how Dex told her a couple of hours ago how proud he was to be a member of the PCPD. Jason brought Josslyn to the bridge, saying it was a good place to think. Josslyn told Jason how she couldn’t do this again. But at least with Oscar, she got to say goodbye and everything she wanted to say. But with Dex, she didn’t get that chance. And now she’ll never have the chance to make new memories with him. Willow told Michael she needed this (the sleepover with the kids) tonight. “Step monster…you haven’t changed a bit” Lulu said as she and Dante entered the Quartermaine mansion. Lulu and Tracy hugged. Willow promised he’d see the kids tomorrow when Michael agreed to the sleepover at Nina’s. After they left, Carly told Michael “That was a mistake.” Tracy ushered Ned and Drew out of the room so she couldn’t catch up with her stepdaughter. Dante gave them privacy. Lulu told Tracy their catch up would be one sided. “Not much to report from dreamland.” Tracy told Lulu she’d been praying for this for so long and praying wasn’t something she was used to. Drew told Ned that Willow could be ruined. Michael told Carly he remembered how scared he was when dad told him and Morgan (Bryan Craig) away from her and wouldn’t do the same thing to Wiley and Amelia. Carly suggested they call Diane (Caroyn Henessey) to strategize. She found so many missed calls and texts on her phone and told Michael “It’s Dex…he’s dead.” Lulu and Tracy talked about Luke (Anthony Geary). Tracy asked how Lulu’s been handling everything. “It’s been really hard,” Lulu said. Michael came to the solarium and told Ned that Willow took the kids and they were staying with Nina. Ned told Michael despite their differences, he had his support. “Drew didn’t just betray you, he betrayed all of us and he will live to regret it” Ned vowed. Drew came to the Quartermaine gatehouse. Seeing it dark and empty, he called Willow. Nina told Willow not to answer. Tracy asked Lulu “Has it been wonderful reconnecting with Rocco?” Lulu told her it had but she wanted those moments with Charlotte too. Tracy told Lulu she had her resources at her disposal but made her promise she wouldn’t go rogue. Carly came to the bridge and comforted her daughter. “I don’t want him to be gone,” Josslyn cried. “I know baby” Carly said. Elizabeth commented that hospitals are supposed to be safe places where people go to get well. Lucky said he hoped the police found out what was going on before someone else died.

Tuesday

Sonny (Maurice Benard) came to All Saints to deliver his Christmas donation in person. Martin (Michael E. Knight) met with Laura (Genie Francis) and told her that her police commissioner has gone rogue. Anna (FinolaHughes) told Jason (Steve Burton) “Once again, I need your help.” When she delivered a holiday gram from James inviting him to the first Scorpio Christmas, Cody (Josh Kelly) told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) he couldn’t make it. Tracy (Jane Eliott) complained about the scrambled eggs she made and not the Eggs Benedict Tracy wanted for Lulu (Alexa Havins), Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) angrily said “You want eggs, go lay them yourself!” Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) was surprised to find Lulu at the Quartermaine mansion. Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) brought over Perks holiday blend coffee for Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst). Rick (Rick Hearst) told Lucky they had the coffee covered. Olivia told Tracy if she cost them their cook, she’d tell Monica (Leslie Charleson) and have her and the seven dishes that needed to be cooked tossed out on the curb. Lulu told Brook Lynn she was there late catching up with Tracy last night so Tracy asked her to spend the night. Martin told Laura he was a witness to Anna being in cahoots with Jason. Anna told Jason because she had to concentrate on the investigation into Dex’s (Evan Hofer) death she needed him to take the lead on finding Charlotte. Rick told Lucky he wanted to speak with Elizabeth alone. Sasha entered All Saints to light a candle. Sonny told her “I know what today is.” Sonny told Sasha he knew it was the anniversary of her son’s death so he asked Father Reyes to light a candle in Liam and Brando’s memories. Maxie asked Cody to reconsider. When Tracy entered the Quartermaine stables looking for Sasha and told them about the wrong eggs incident, Maxie told Tracy today was the anniversary of Sasha’s baby’s death. Brook Lynn said Lulu was confusing 2010 with 2024 and that whole business when she tried to come between Lulu and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and needed to stop living in the past. Martin told Laura how Jason grabbed him on Anna’s orders and demanded information on Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) whereabouts. Jason told Anna that Josslyn (Eden McCoy) didn’t blame her for Dex’s death and she shouldn’t blame herself either. Rick and Lucky argued over each other’s efforts in helping Elizabeth. Sasha told Sonny about walking out on the job after arguing with Tracy over nothing. Tracy thanked Maxie for the information then left the stables. Maxie left the holiday gram with Cody before leaving the Quartermaine stables. Martin suggested their brother could help find Lulu. Rick advised Elizabeth to stay away from General Hospital. Dante interrupted Lulu and Brook Lynn and Lulu left. Brook Lynn told Dante that she and Lulu never liked each other, adding “She may be the heroine in your story. But she is the snarky, self righteous Spencer she’s always been in mine.” Sonny told Sasha she made the right decision for Liam as his mother. And both Liam and Brando (Johnny Wactor) were proud of her. Sonny told Sasha he hoped she’d get a chance to be a mother again. Dante said even though she and Lulu were both good people, that didn’t mean they had to get along. Lulu came to the Quartermaine stables. She was surprised to see Cody again. He told her he was an old friend of Dante’s and asked what she was thinking about getting into a strange man’s car. “I knew I could take you,” Lulu said. Rick told Elizabeth that if Dex’s autopsy showed digitalis in his system that showed a pattern of harmful behavior so he hoped she’d take his advice and stay away from GH. Brook Lynn had a strange look on her face when Maxie commented on her planned pregnancies. Tracy came to All Saints. Sonny told Tracy to be nice then left the church. Tracy apologized for the way she spoke to her earlier. Sasha told Tracy if they were to move forward, Tracy could never speak to her like that again. Dante entered the Quartermaine stables to find Lulu and Cody laughing. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) told Jason that the trail for Valentin has gone cold again. Martin told Laura it may be worth a conversation if Cyrus (Jeff Kober) could help. Sonny came to the police commissioner’s office and told Anna he saved her a trip…it was about Dex Heller’s death. Cody told Dante for once he was in the right place at the right time when he found Lulu. “I want whoever is responsible for Dex’s death found. Let me know if I can help” Sonny told Anna. Brook Lynn told Maxie the difficulty she’s been having getting pregnant and worried something could be wrong. Jason told Spinelli he’d Valentin and when he did, he’d make sure Valentin didn’t cause anyone else any trouble anymore. Sasha said a prayer unaware a disguised Sidwell entered All Saints and sat behind her.

Wednesday

“Hey, look who I found hanging around our front door” Aiden (Colin Cassidy) said as Cameron (William Lipton) entered and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) hugged her son. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) went to the tree and picked up the Christmas gift she’d gotten for Dex (Evan Hofer). Felicia (Kristina Wagner) praised Jordan (Tanisha Harper) on the food drive, flu shots and winter coat donation drive she organized for the community. Ava (Maura West) commented to Nina (Cynthia Watros) on how well the apartment was decorated for Christmas. Nina said she wanted to make it special for Wiley and Amelia. Curtis (Donnell Turner) showed Michael (Chad Duell) a draft report of the quarterly earnings showing Aurora was under performing. It was part of his plan to leak the draft report and once the stocks began to plummet, Michael could buy up the shares and have controlling interest and then make Curtis permanent CEO of Aurora. Carly (Laura Wright) stormed into Corinthos Coffee and demanded of Jason (Steve Burton) “How could you not tell me that Willow cheated on Michael with Drew?” Felicia commented on how Dr. Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) administering the flu shots was a big help. Cameron introduced Elizabeth to his girlfriend, Gretchyn Ross. He hugged Lucky and told Elizabeth he wanted to talk about Christmas. Trina (Tabayana Ali) returned home and comforted Josslyn. She said it didn’t feel real. Michael told Curtis before they went forward he had to tell him something. Jason told Carly it wasn’t his place to tell her about Drew and Michael, it was Michael. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) said Isaiah was good with patients. Drew entered. “You have got to tell Willow about you and Drew before it’s too late” Ava urged Nina. Jordan glared at Drew and was all business with him when they spoke. “If I tell her about Drew and me, Willow is going to run straight back to Michael” Nina told Ava. “Now that the truth is out, we can call this whole thing off,” Michael told Curtis. Carly told Jason that she would give Diane the video and expose his brother for the sleazy bag he is. Drew pulled Willow aside. Willow reminded they couldn’t be seen together. Drew told Willow “I don’t care. All I care about is you.” Since Cameron was joining Gretchyn’s family for Christmas, Elizabeth decided they would celebrate Christmas now and sent Aiden, Cameron and Gretchyn out for everything they needed. “How can he be gone when I never got to say goodbye?” Josslyn asked Trina. Curtis told Michael he was willing to take the risk. Curtis told Michael he needed him to make him permanent CEO of Aurora before he hit send on the email leaking the draft report to his contact at the Wall Street Journal. Curtis wanted it in writing that he was CEO for five years and Michael could force him out. “That’s why I have to expect the unexpected” Nina told Ava then opened the door for Martin (Michael E. Knight). “Being with you meant something to me and I’m not going to let the Quartermaines turn it into something cheap” Drew told Willow who said she had to focus on her kids. “Do not tell me to back off. You had your shot at Drew, now let me have mine” Carly told Jason. Aiden, Cameron and Gretchyn returned with the groceries. Martin told Nina hiring him may be premature. Drew told Willow he got a room at The Cosmopolitan and was picking up Scout and they’d celebrate Christmas there. “If looks were lethal, Drew Quartermaine would be in big trouble” Felicia told Jordan, noticing how she was glaring at Drew. Jordan told Felicia she needed her help. Willow invited Drew and Scout to celebrate Christmas with her, Nina and the kids. Felicia pulled Willow aside and said she needed help stocking the first aid kits. Michael signed the papers making Curtis permanent CEO then hit the send button on the email Cameron told Elizabeth it took him a long time getting over Joss which is why he’s taking this slowly this time. Elizabeth asked Cameron to play a song. Josslyn blamed herself for Dex’s death. Trina told Josslyn how she blamed herself when Spencer (Nikolas Chavez). She told Josslyn she had to give herself time because after a while she will be grateful for everything she had with Dex. Josslyn didn’t think she could survive feeling this way. But Trina told Josslyn she’d find a way to get there and find a way to live again because Dex would want that for her. Jordan admitted to Isaiah she hasn’t gotten her flu shot yet. Martin reminded Nina that the Quartermaines had deep pockets. “Drew and Willow hurt my son and now they’re going to pay for it,” Carly told Jason. Josslyn told Trina she didn’t know what she’d do without her and her family. Josslyn told Trina it was up to her to make sure Dex gets justice. Cameron played his guitar and he and Lucky sang The First Noel. Jordan was nervous about getting her shot. But Isaiah told her he’d already given it to her. “What can I say, I’m good,” Isaiah said with a smile. Drew received an alert about Aurora’s stock plummeting. Michael called his broker and ordered “When it hits fifteen, buy it all.” Nina told Martin that Willow had to be ready. Jason told Carly she wouldn’t make Drew and Willow pay. “Carly, you’re a good mom and I know you’re going to put Michael’s needs above yours.” Although she hated it, Carly agreed to let Michael take the lead. “But if I get the chance to make Drew pay for what he did to Michael, I’m going to take it” Carly told Jason then left Corinthos Coffee.

Thursday

“What are you doing in here?” Jordan (Tanisha Harper) asked when she found Isaiah in the women’s steamroom. Gio (Giovanni Mazza) helped Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) wrap a Christmas present for Scout. Gio commented no matter how many presents Scout and Danny get it won’t stop them from missing their mom. Sasha (Sofia Mattesson) thanked Jason (Steve Burton) for saving her life. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) couldn’t believe Nina (Cynthia Watros) decorated the place for the kids. “I did it for you too. But that’s not all I did” Nina told Willow. Martin (Michael E. Knight) came to the Quartermaine mansion and told Tracy (Jane Eliott) he was there for Michael. Drew (Cameron Mathison) was confused that Curtis (Donnell Turner) wasn’t more concerned over Aurora’s plummeting stock. Chase (Josh Swickward) found Michael at Aurora Wellness Center and asked how he was doing. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was surprised to run into Cameron (William Lipton) in Rice Plaza. Jordan told Isaiah she didn’t expect to see him there in the women’s steamroom. But when Isaiah tried to leave, the door was stuck. Jordan tried and it didn’t open. “You gotta be kidding me.” Tracy gave Martin a message to take back to his clients (Nina and Willow): “By going against Michael, they’re going against the Quartermaines.” Chase said he was there to listen if Michael wanted to talk. Drew asked Curtis what he was doing about the draft report being sent by mistake. Curtis said that sounded like a job for a CEO and shouldn’t he be talking to Michael. Nina told Willow she obtained an attorney to file legal separation papers from Michael for her. Nina added Michael is both Quartermaine and Corninthos and wouldn’t compromise. Josslyn told Cameron that Dex (Evan Hofer) died. “What are you doing home wrapping gifts when you should be out with friends?” Brook Lynn asked Gio. Isaiah and Jordan pounded on the door and yelled for help. Sasha told Jason how her parents have been texting her. “Sometimes it’s hard to remember parents are humans too,” Jason said. Sasha commented that Holly (Emma Samms) did something right by sending him to rescue her. Michael told Chase he didn’t want to end his marriage. “You can’t count on anyone in Michael’s family to help you” Nina told Willow, adding Drew wasn’t someone Willow could rely on. Curtis told Drew “I just got promoted.” Josslyn told Cameron how Dex just graduated from the police academy and was on duty when he died. A woman heard Isaiah and Jordan yelling for help. She tried the door and said it was really stuck but she’d go get help. Unfortunately, the woman already walked away and didn’t hear Jordan ask if she could ask someone to turn off the steam. Tracy called Martin a vulture. Michael told Chase when Willow looked at Drew, she saw someone who wouldn’t lie to her. Curtis told Drew he’d read a press release soon that said majority shareholder Michael Cornithos named him CEO. “You and Michael played me,” Drew realized. Curtis added he had Michael sign a legally binding contract that he was Aurora’s CEO for five years, adding he refused to be caught in the middle of Quartermaine family drama. Willow told Nina she invited Drew and Scout over for Christmas Eve. “For what it’s worth, I’m happy you and Dex found each other and have the time you did” Cameron told Josslyn. Gretchyn appeared and introduced herself. Isaiah and Jordan found their situation amusing. Gio told Brook Lynn he hasn’t had time to make friends. Brook Lynn told Gio he had to get out there because he had a really good heart that he needed to share with others. Jason told Sasha he wasn’t the person she saw in the old photos anymore. Chase told Michael they put Willow on a pedestal but she’s made mistakes. Curtis told Drew the only reason he offered Michael the CEO was because he’s been sneaking around with his wife. Isaiah told Jordan a story about when he was in med school and got locked in a store after falling asleep on a recliner. Gretchyn went to call a rideshare so Cameron and Josslyn could spend a few minutes alone. Jason told Tracy he was only in the house because of Danny. Curtis told Drew that since Michael wanted revenge on the man who seduced his wife, he was the only one who had Aurora’s best interests. Willow told Nina to leave the strategy to the lawyers…what she needed was her mom. “Drew is going to pay for blowing up my marriage,” Michael told Chase. A fireman got the steamroom door opened. “I vastly prefer your presence in this house than that of your sham brother” Tracy said, telling Jason he’s shown himself to be a true Quartermaine. Curtis told Drew under his leadership he’s going to make great money because Aurora’s going to be booming for the next five years. “I really like having you here” Nina said, telling Willow she’d always be her mom and would always be there for her. After saying goodbye to Cameron, Josslyn closed her eyes and had a vision of Dex in his dress blues. Martin came to Aurora Wellness Center and served him with the legal separation papers.

Friday

The Scorpio Christmas Eve celebration was in full spring as Mac (John J. York), Felicia (Kristina Wagner), Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) talked games and presents. Laura (Genie Francis) ran into Trina (Tabayana Ali) in Rice Park. Trina said Spencer (Nikolas Chavez) would be happy Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) were home for Christmas. “If it isn’t the Christmas Grinch…are you here to steal the kids toys?” Anna (Finola Hughes) asked Jack (Charles Mesure). Kristina (Kate Mansi) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) she couldn’t be around Molly (Kristen Vaganos) “Which is why I’m spending Christmas at dad’s.” Curtis (Donnell Turner), Stella (Vernee Watson) and Portia (Brooke Kerr) were happy Marshall (Robert Gossett) returned to spend Christmas with his family. Nina (Cynthia Watros) told Drew (Cameron Mathison) she wasn’t the one who invited him. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Michael (Chad Duell) she was getting ready to go over to Maxie’s for her first Scorpio Christmas. Sonny (Maurice Benard) came over to his ex-wife’s house and gave Carly (Laura Wright) some Christmas Eve lasagna. Carly asked whether he’d spoken to Michael. “Willow and Drew slept together,” Carly told Sonny. Anna told Jack she was spending Christmas Eve with her family. “I finally have an uncle, shouldn’t he be here for Christmas?” James asked. Michael told Sasha he was going over to his mom’s for Christmas Eve. Sonny told Carly that Drew was going to pay for what he’s done. Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) interrupted Drew and Nina. When Drew and Willow walked away, Nina called someone and said “I need you here now.” Kristina gave Alexis her Christmas present and thanked her for getting her through the tough year. Alexis told Kristina she wasn’t giving up hope she and her sister would be close again. Curtis told his family he’d share his Aurora news once Trina was there. Laura assured Trina she’d find another great love again. After Laura walked away, Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) appeared. Carly had to leave because the food donation never arrived. Josslyn made peace with Sonny. Felicia called Sasha to check whether inviting Cody (Josh Kelly) again wouldn’t make her uncomfortable. Sasha assured it wouldn’t and told Felicia not to call Cody. “I got this.” Rick (Rick Hearst) and Ava (Maura West) arrive at Nina’s. Ava told Nina she couldn’t have a drink because she may let it slip how she felt about Drew. Jack came to Bobbie’s but found it close. Carly came out of the diner and Jack said Santa Claus granted his wish. Kai told Trina their project extension was granted. Anna greeted Laura, who asked whether she was staying for the tree lighting ceremony. Anna asked whether Lulu would be there and whether she knew about the shooting. Diane (Carolyn Henessy) came over to Alexis’ house to invite her friend to join her in St. Barts. Sasha lied there was a leak and no plumbers were available because of Christmas Eve to get Cody over. But Cody still said he wasn’t going over to the Quartermaines for Christmas Eve. When Josslyn and Kristina left the room to get hot apple cider, Sonny said he knew about Drew and Willow and asked Michael what he could do to help. Curtis announced he was Aurora’s CEO. Willow couldn’t believe it when Drew told her how Curtis and Michael outmaneuvered him so Michael could be Aurora majority shareholder and Curtis CEO. Laura told Anna once they got Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) home, they’d find the right time to tell Lulu about the shooting. She said she forgave her as did Charlotte and sure Lulu would so Anna had to forgive herself. Carly offered to make Jack a care package. But he told her room service would do. Sonny told Michael how he regretted using him and Morgan against his mother to hurt her. Michael told Sonny he stole Aurora from Drew. “That’s my boy,” Sonny said with a smile. Curtis felt guilty for stooping to Drew’s deception level. James was sad when Sasha arrived and said Cody wasn’t coming. Rick arrived at Alexis’ house and asked whether Molly was okay. Alexis answered that it depended on him. Around the dinner table, Curtis acknowledged his blessings. Mac suggested he and James go riding with Cody after Christmas. Both Mac and James were happy when Cody arrived. Willow thanked Nina for hosting Christmas evening. Carly returned home and introduced Jack, the guest she invited. Jack extended his hand to Sonny to shake but Sonny just looked at Brennan.
