A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

Laura (Genie Francis) ran into Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) at Rice Plaza. She told Lucky “I can’t tell you how happy it makes me to have both my children home for Christmas.” Tracy (Jane Eliott) answered the door and greeted Lulu (Alexa Havins) warmly. “My Lulu…you don’t have to knock. This is your home after all.” Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) watched with jealousy from the stair landing. “I know who you are. Carly never told us you were coming” Sonny (Maurice Benard) said to Jack (Charles Mesure). Jack told Sonny how Carly (Laura Wright) took pity on him and invited him. “No one should be alone on Christmas,” Carly said. While Jack was talking with Josslyn (Eden McCoy), Sonny asked Carly “Are you sure about this?” “I’m grateful that you have finally decided to move home”Ned (Wally Kurth) told Jason (Steve Burton). A girl greeted Gio (Giovanni Mazza) as Doug then gave him a wallet and told him to hold onto it. Rick (Rick Hearst) asked Alexis (Nancy Grahan) why she invited him over. She said because their daughter has had a terrible year she thought he’d want the chance to make it a tiny bit better, adding if he felt he couldn’t tolerate being with her he could leave. Cody (Josh Kelly) apologized for being late. He gave James his favorite cowboy hat saying he thought it was time he passed it on. Rick agreed to help Alexis decorate the house so she wouldn’t paint him as the villain with their daughter. Tracy urged Lulu to wait for the authorities to try to find Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and if they didn’t, she’d have this family’s resources to help her. “I’ll hold off…for now” Lulu said. Tracy asked Lulu to promise she’d be there for Rocco (Finn Carter). Sonny didn’t think it was a good idea to have a WSB roaming around her house. Kristina (Kate Mansi) told Michael (Chad Duell) she did feel for Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) because she knew what it was like to do something you couldn’t take back. But Michael wasn’t so sure Willow wanted to take it back. Jason told Ned it took him a long time to realize their grandfather was a good man. Jason said he and Danny would be there to open presents in the morning. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Felicia (Kristina Wagner) it didn’t take much convincing because she knew Cody wanted to be with family. Anna (Finola Hughes) promised Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), Felicia and Sasha when her special surprise arrived, there’d be a lot more holiday cheer to go around. Lucky told Elizabeth no other place beats Rice Plaza at Christmas. They ran into Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). Lucky invited him over to his mother’s house for Christmas. Dante said they may stop over. Elizabeth told Lucky she could tell Rocco was going through the motions. Lucky said that’s all you can do when you can’t be with the person you love. Laura invited Dante to spend Christmas with her family. Dante said nothing would make this Christmas easier. Carly and Sonny toasted the new head of Aurora Media (Michael). Josslyn was surprised Jack knew she and Dex (Evan Hofer) had been together when he offered his condolences. Chase admitted to Brook Lynn he had a crush on Lulu when he first came to town. The girl told Gio she was going to need that wallet back.Anna assured Sasha she’d get the chance to get to know Robert (Tristan Rogers) and when he came back to Port Charles. Isaiah gave Jordan (Tanisha Harper) a towel rack for Christmas. Rick and Alexis decorated the Christmas tree. Jason wasn’t happy to see Jack at Carly’s house. When they were alone, Carly reminded Jason he wasn’t the boss of her and she could see who she wanted. The girl told Gio how the man underpaid for some snow globes and she wanted to make it right. Rocco handed Lulu his phone and she was happy when she heard the voice on the other end of the line. Danny and Jason looked up at a star they reasoned was Sam (Kelly Monaco). Ned played the guitar while Gio played the violin and Chase sang O Come All Ye Faithful. Lulu promised Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) she would come alone to see her. She asked Rocco to do her a favor and keep tonight’s call between the two of them. Lulu promised Rocco she’d make this family whole again. Laura lit the Christmas tree in Rice Plaza.

Tuesday

Dex (Evan Hofer) assured Josslyn (Eden McCoy) he’ll heal. Chase (Josh Swickward) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) were at the airport awaiting their flight to Florence. Although yawning, Chase assured Brook Lynn they wouldn’t be sleeping at the hotel tonight. Violet (Jophelle Love) wanted to take the bridal bouquet to school. But Finn (Michael Easton) reminded the flowers would get ruined. Diane (Carolyn Henessy) told Alexis (Nancy Grahan) they needed to go to court to get her back her law license. Kristina (Kate Mansi) commented to Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) when she was upset she’d usually talk with her dad. Sonny (Maurice Benard) came to see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna). “What happened to your fist? Who were you punching?” Dante asked Sonny. While looking for his passport, Chase found a gift box. It was from Gregory (Gregory Harrison). In the note, he wrote if Chase and Brook Lynn ever got lost, they’d find their way back to each other. Chase opened the gift box and found a sterling silver compass. Finn returned home and called out to his dad. When he went to check on him, Finn found Gregory had died in his sleep. Sonny told Dante he defended himself against Dex and asked him to deliver a message to Kristina. “She saw the whole thing,” Sonny told Dante. Blaze told Kristina it wasn’t her problem to fix her father. Kristina commented she knew someone who could. Finn made the call to report his father passing away in his sleep. He noticed the bottle of Tire Track whiskey Gloria and Carmine Cerillo had given him. He uncorked the bottle and smelled the cork. Diane gave Alexis advice for her pre-court jitters. After taking in the aroma of the alcohol, Finn poured himself a glass and drank it. When her brother arrived, Kristina told Michael (Chad Duell) about Sonny attacking Dex and threatening to empty a gun in both Dex and Jason’s (Steve Burton) heads. Kristina commented that Michael didn’t seem surprised. Dante told Sonny as a cop he couldn’t go to Kristina and tell her it wasn’t what she thought, adding even if he wasn’t a cop, he wouldn’t want to. Finn gave his statement to a cop. EMTs entered and one told Finn that Gregory died from heart failure and it was quick and he hadn’t felt a thing. Kristina told Michael how she was struggling to reconcile the man who attacked Dex with the loving, gentle father she’d always known. Michael told Kristina their father was a product of choices he made before they were born. “Kristina, it’s not up to us to clean up after dad” Michael told Kristina. But he said he’ll try to fix things. After telling Josslyn she should try not to think about Sonny, Dex received a phone call. Dante reminded Sonny of the position he put him in. Because as a cop, if Dex pressed charges he’d have to enter their conversation as collaborating evidence. And if he did go to Kristina to try to smooth things over for Sonny and she were interviewed by the police, did Sonny expect Kristina to lie for him? Michael asked Dex whether he was going to press charges against Sonny. Kristina told Blaze she’d understand with all the family drama if she wanted out. Before they boarded their flight, Chase received a call from Finn who delivered the sad news that Gregory died in his sleep. Dante told Sonny he’d talk with Kristina and make sure she was okay. “But I’m not going to defend you from the life you’ve made for yourself” Dante told Sonny. Diane told Alexis she couldn’t give up. “Then if you don’t want to do it for you, do it for me” Diane said, reminding of all the pro bono hours she spent when she could have been billing a client. Finn thought about Gregory when Violet came home.

Wednesday

Thursday

Emma (Braedyn Bruner) announced that she was staying and that she transferred to PCU and was moving into the dorms in the three weeks. Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) gave Chase (Josh Swickward) one last Christmas present: A pregnancy test and announced she was late. Carly (Laura Wright) thanked Jack (Charles Mesure) for distracting Josslyn (Eden McCoy). “I’m just afraid losing Dex so suddenly and senselessly was too much for her.” Lucas (Van Hansis) came to Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) apartment and announced “I’m here for Willow.” “Now all we have to do is bring Charlotte home and all will be right with the world” Laura (Genie Francis) told Sonny (Maurice Benard). Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) told Rocco (Finn Carter) that Lulu (Alexa Havins) would be there bright and early on Christmas. But Lulu was at the airport waiting to board a flight to Prague. Lulu sent a text to Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez): Will arrive around noon Prague time. Text me the name of the cafe. Can’t wait to see you. “I want to remind you Willow that I didn’t rip out my heart and let Wiley go so you can take him away from his father,” Lucas told Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Michael (Chad Duell) told Jason (Steve Burton) he was starting to realize the life he had with Willow was gone forever. Carly ignored Jack’s violation of protocol and told Josslyn how Jack helped rescue Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), Holly (Emma Samms), Anna and Jason from Sidwell’s compound. “Sasha’s not alone, she’s got us” Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Emma. Kristina told Sonny because of him, she still felt a sense of hope and wonder. Josslyn told Jack she was naive thinking she could save the world. Michael told Jason he should have taken his advice and left The Brown Dog Bar and told Willow everything. When Laura came to return Lulu’s gloves she left in her car, Dante was surprised because Lulu told him she was staying with Laura and told her mother she was staying at the Quartermaines. Colette chatted up Lulu at the airport. “I wanna have a lot of kids but our first kid…this one’s special” Chase told Brook Lynn. They were disappointed when the pregnancy test was negative. Lucas blamed Willow for her actions. Jack assured Josslyn that one person can make a difference. “Every one of us plays a part in holding up the world,” Jack said. Sonny told Kristina he knows she’ll do great things for Charlie’s. Rocco confessed to Dante and Laura about Lulu knowing where Charlotte was. “We are done,” Willow said when she accused Lucas of comparing her to Nelle (Chloe Lanier). Nina ordered Lucas to get out. Lucas urged Willow to think about what he said then left with Ava (Maura West). Michael told Jason if Drew is who she wanted, maybe he should let Willow go. Brook Lynn couldn’t understand why she couldn’t get pregnant. Dante told Laura he was going to try to catch Lulu at the airport because he didn’t want Lulu trying to stop Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) on her own. Jack received a call from Collette and asked for a status. Colette told Jack that Lulu was headed to Prague. He told her when Lulu made contact, she knew what to do. “I’m always going to be in your corner” Sonny told Kristina. Chase and Brook Lynn decided to both get tested. But Chase said he knew in his heart she was meant to be a mom. Sasha talked about the way the Qs were as a family. Rocco told Laura he didn’t know what he would do if something happened to his mom. A tired Josslyn went upstairs. Jack and Calry both said they were glad they ran into each other. “It’s just sad Willow can’t see the good man she already has instead of being deceived by Drew,” Jason said, commenting that Willow would have to see that for herself. “No one is going to take away your child” Nina promised Willow. Ava told Lucas no one should have to know what it’s like to lose and fight for a child. Chase told Brook Lynn as much as he wanted to have a child with her he’s glad he gets to have her all to himself. Carly and Jack wished each other Merry Christmas. Then, Jack left. Kristina told Sonny he and mom got her through the tough year. After Kristina went up to bed, Sonny felt a sharp pain. After Emma, Anna and Felicia left, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) asked why Sasha didn’t share her pregnancy news. Sasha told Maxie she had some decisions to make before she could tell anyone she was pregnant. Michael told Jason if they couldn’t make things work, he’d fight Willow for his kids. After Nina left the room to check on the kids, Drew told Willow at least he could be honest about his feelings. Nina walked back into the room and saw Drew and Willow hugging. Dante was too late to get on the flight to Prague. Lulu enlarged the photo of Charlotte on her cellphone and said “See you soon sweetheart.” Collette watched her from the seat across from Lulu.

Friday

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) knocked over the salt and pepper shakers. Jason (Steve Burton) told her that her mom would understand if she needed to take some time off. “What I need is to find out who killed Dex,” Josslyn said. At The Metro Court, Ava (Maura West) handed Trina (Tabyana Ali) her Christmas bonus and told her it wasn’t what she deserved or expected. Anna (Finola Hughes) knew Emma (Braedyn Bruener) hadn’t come home until four am. Michael (Chad Duell) told Diane (Carolyn Henessy) he needed her to represent him if his wife decided to file for divorce. Maxie (Kirsten Storms ) and Sasha (Sasha Mattsson) were at Marta & Chloe for a mani pedi. When Maxie noticed Sasha was looking for houses on her cell phone, Sasha told Maxie she was leaving Port Charles Alexis (Nancy Grahan) arrived at the mayor’s office for a meeting Martin (Michael E. Knight) set up . She thanked Laura for the donation she made in Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) name. Laura said Sam’s legacy lives on, not just through her own children but through Lulu (Alexa Havins). Martin entered and thanked them for meeting with him. At Cafe Serendipity, Lulu waited for Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). She smiled when she saw her daughter outside the cafe. Sasha told Maxie she was moving back to The Hamptons and was starting fresh for the baby. She told Maxie she couldn’t tell the rest of the family because it would make it harder. Michael told Diane about Willow’s (Katelyn MacMuellen) affair with Drew (Cameron Mathison). Diane asked if Willow was the one who cheated why he wasn’t the one filing for divorce. Trained WSB agent Anna knew her granddaughter was lying when she said she couldn’t sleep and hadn’t been out at four in the morning. Anna knew Emma had been expelled from Berkley. Jason told Josslyn he’d look into whether one of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) men had gone rogue and targeted Dex. Then, Jason left Bobbie’s. Charlotte entered the cafe. “Hi Mom,” she said. They hugged each other and Lulu said “Charlotte, you’re so grown up.” Martin told Laura and Alexis he’d been in contact with the legal council in Greece. He told them Ace was named the new heir of the Cassadine fortune and Alexis was named trustee. Trina told Ava she could wait for her fortune to be reversed because the expensive painting Ava gave her in lieu of her annual bonus would make a great sell. Lulu and Charlotte got caught up. Charlotte told Lulu she was sorry she couldn’t be there when she woke up. Anna heard from the university about the party Emma threw that set off the sprinklers and displaced students. She told Emma she would be staying there with her. Michael gave Diane the legal separation papers Martin threw up and gave her a timeline of events. Diane told Michael she was worried. Jack (Charles Mesure) arrived at Bobbie’s and ordered a cheeseburger. Alexis and Laura told Martin they wanted to give away every dark penny of the Cassadine fortune. Trina agreed to take the painting but told Ava “As soon as you need it, it’s yours.” Lulu told Charlotte she needed her to come home. Trina noticed Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) enter The Metro Court and sit at the bar. She walked over to him and he admitted he was trying to avoid fans. Anna told Emma she would be unsigning the lease and would be living there with her. Emma asked whether she could go out to get a coffee. “Good luck, she’s in a mood,” Emma told Jason, who came to the door as Emma was leaving. “What do you want?” Anna asked Jason. Jack told Josslyn the footage of Rice Plaza at the time of Dex’s stabbing had been deleted after forty eight hours. “I can’t go home with you mom” Charlotte said, telling Lulu she couldn’t leave her papa alone. “He’s a fugitive, what kind of life is that for you?” Lulu asked. Emma entered Bobbie’s. She offered a brew with almond milk and no sugar and decided to drink it there to catch up with Josslyn. Diane told Michael she was ready for the fight but asked him how far he was willing to go. Michael said he wanted his family back but wasn’t willing to take the kids away from their mother but would do whatever it took to stay in their lives. Martin told Alexis and Laura the estate couldn’t be dispersed and the money would be waiting for him when he was of age. Laura was glad Alexis was the trustee because she had Ace’s best interest. Kai told Trina about the reception thrown by the booster club and said he hated events like that. The coach and his son Aaron appeared and Kai told a picture with the coach’s son. Jason told Anna that Lulu found Charlotte because she texted Rocco (Finn Carter). He added Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) tracked her down to a flight going to Prague and was right behind her. “Lulu doesn’t know what she’s done,” Anna said. Alexis happily signed the trustee papers when she Martin told her the daily had gotten back Wyndemere. Trina played the superhero by helping Kai escape The Metro Court via the service elevators. When Diane told Michael she needed full transparency since she’s representing him, he called Sasha and said they needed to meet. Emma told Josslyn how she and Cameron (William Lipton) met up all the time since their schools weren’t that far from each other. She added she introduced Cam to Gretchyn. When he approached the counter, Josslyn introduced Jack to Anna’s granddaughter Emma Drake. Jack left the diner and called someone to request all images taken at Rice Plaza on December 10th. Anna told Jason how Valentin (James Patrick Staurt) would take Charlotte and disappear permanently once he discovered Lulu was on his trail. Valentin watched Lulu and Charlotte from outside Cafe Serendipity.
