A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

“I think I may have made a mistake. I may have just handed over Michael’s children to Willow and Drew” Carly (Laura Wright) told Jack (Chris L. McKenna). “Carly doesn’t give a damn about me…and she never did” Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) told Drew (Cameron Mathison). Portia (Brooke Kerr) told Trina (Tabyana Ali) she just finished researching the procedure. Ava (Maura West) told Rick (Rick Hearst) about her conversation with Alexis (Nancy Grahan) and how she was sure Alexis would play ball. Kristina (Kate Mansi) asked her mom what’s wrong when she saw the look on Alexis’ face when her mother entered the house. “There’s still a possibility the city could seize control of your waterfront property” Laura (Genie Francis) told Sonny (Maurice Benard). Laura told Sonny about the referendum and putting the vote to the people. Jack told Carly they’d figure out a way to mitigate the circumstances together. Nina told Drew and Willow their cool heads would help with the judge later on. The doorbell rang and it was Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). Portia told Trina it felt like this was about something more than Kai and the surgery. “Like what?” Trina asked. “Like Spencer,” Portia answered. Rick warned Ava not to underestimate Alexis. “You think you gave Alexis twenty-four hours to make a decision. You also gave her twenty-four hours to come up with a strategy” Rick said. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina welcomed Alexis to the Davis Girls Family Night and asked for her phone so they could unplug for the evening. Trina told Portia she didn’t think she could go through losing someone else she cared about. Drew told Kai he was in the middle of a family situation and said they’d talk tomorrow. After Drew walked away to take care of something, Willow told Nina she was afraid what Carly said about her (that she was like Nelle) might be true. Jack told Carly she did exactly what needed to be done. “I run a legitimate business from those piers. If they try to take them away from me, I won’t let them” Sonny told Laura. Rocco (Finn Carter) knocked on the door and entered Laura’s office and asked what’s wrong. Ava told Rick she had his car in a storage facility and would have it towed back if needed. But Ava didn’t think it would come to that. Alexis, Molly and Kristina enjoyed their food from Noodle Buddha. Molly told Kristina she was glad to have her one remaining sister back. Trina admitted she’s fallen for Kai. Nina assured Willow she was nothing like her sister. Drew returned to the room and suggested they table the discussion for tonight. Nina left the house. “Trust me Carly, you may have just helped Michael win custody of his kids” Jack told Carly. Laura asked Rocco whether it was okay if his grandfather stayed to hear his (Rocco’s) speech. Rick reminded Ava that Kristina would come after him again and should be brought to justice. Alexis watched Kristina’s expression when Molly said after Rick and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) made a full recovery, they wouldn’t have to think about the accident again. Portia asked Kai to come to her office to discuss the treatment. “If Michael comes after me guns blazing…how in the world am I supposed to stop him?” Willow asked Drew. Jack assured Carly that Drew will over reach when doing something big to save the day for Willow and she’ll be able to use it against him. Ava told Rick she could live with a little uncertainty and could hire security if needed. Rick told Ava it sounds like justice if Alexis had to embezzle money from the Cassadine Estate over and over again. When Ava suggested Alexis not know of his involvement, Rick commented that was okay. Unless Ava was trying to cut him out of his share of the money. “When you believe in yourself, other people believe in you” Sonny told Rocco after hearing his speech for the debate. After Rocco left his grandmother’s office, Laura and Sonny resumed their conversation. Drew promised Willow if something were to happen to her, he’d make sure Michael or Tracy (Jane Eliott) never got their hands on Wiley and Amelia. He said he had the answer right there. Portia told Kai she couldn’t in good conscience encourage him to go through with the surgery. Portia showed Kai her research. Drew showed Willow the papers he had drawn up where if something happened to her, the papers would make him legal guardian of Wiley and Amelia. And if something happened to him, she’d become the legal guardian of Scout. Willow signed the papers. Jack told Carly she laid the trap beautifully and just had to wait for Drew and Willow to walk into it. “Rocco reminded me we’re family. And family always comes first” Sonny told Laura. Ava assured Rick she wouldn’t cut him out of the deal, adding “If Alexis decides she’s going to protect her lunatic daughter, she’s going to have to pay us double.” Alexis looked at the commitment paperwork. Then, she folded it up and put it back in her purse.

Tuesday

Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) found Gio (Giovanni Mazza) at the boathouse by the lake playing his violin. She asked him to help her out. Lois (Rena Sofer) was surprised Chase (Josh Swickward) was glad she was home. Rick (Rick Hearst) wastaking with Ava (Maura West) on the phone when Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) entered. He assured he always had time for law enforcement. Ava was expecting Alexis (Nancy Grahan) when Trina (Tabayana Ali) entered the Jerome Gallery. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) came to visit Rick. As he was leaving, Dante asked to speak with Kristina. A wheelchair bound Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) was surprised by the small welcome home celebration from Aiden (Colin Cassidy), Laura (Genie Francis) and Lulu (Alexa Havins). “No fun playing caught out is it?” Emma (Braedyn Bruner) asked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) when she found her highlighting a textbook. Alexis entered Miller & Davis and told Diane (Carolyn Henessy) she couldn’t do it. “I know that this is hard for you, but after what Kristina has done, this is the only way to save your daughter.” Emma assured Josslyn she’d catch up like Emma did when she transferred to PCU. Elizabeth thanked everyone for the welcome home. Amy (Rina Dorken) arrived and announced she was reporting for duty. Trina told Ava about Kai’s (Jens Austin Astrup) surgery and how he was risking his life. “What is a detective doing investigating a car crash?” Kristina asked Dante. Alexis told Diane she didn’t sign the papers and ordered Diane to shred the paperwork and delete the file, adding “What good is it protecting my daughter if I destroy her in the process?” Chase told Lois he was going to honor Brook Lynn’s choice and not tell Dante. Brook Lynn told Gio she was co-producing the Nurses Ball with Lucy (Lynn Herring) and asked him to do a solo act. Lucky asked Elizabeth what she did to Terry (Cassanda James) to get her to punish her by having Amy be her nurse during her recovery. Molly gave Rick an espresso and said it was Kristina’s idea. Dante told Kristina he was visiting Uncle Rick because it was something his mother would want him to do. Alexis told Diane that Kristina would never forgive her for taking away her freedom and destroying her relationship with Molly for good. Trina told Ava she thinks Kai was making the wrong decision by having the surgery. Ava told Trina that ultimately she had to respect Kai’s decision. Elizabeth told Laura she was happy to have Lucky, she and Lulu there and to have family to rely on. Laura told Elizabeth she would always be a part of this family. Kristina asked Dante whether he thought it was possible to move on. Rick told Molly he’d like to get to know his nephew Dante. He asked Molly whether the good thing to come out of the accident was getting to know his nephew. Or she and her sister? Alexis told Diane the best thing to do in this situation was to cover it up. Alexis received a text from Ava: Don’t Be Late. Trina met with Kai who told her “I’m going to have the surgery.” “A day hasn’t gone by that she hasn’t put her child’s needs first” Lois told Chase. Gio agreed to the solo. Laura interrupted Lulu and Lucky to get Elizabeth a cup of tea. Lulu left the room to bring the tea. Laura knew Lucky was keeping something from him and asked whether it had anything to do with Elizabeth. Elizabeth assured Aiden they could get through eight hours with Amy. Emma and Josslyn returned to Surf. Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) entered. Diane told Alexis she was charging her double because she didn’t take her advice. Alexis thanked Diane for helping her but said she’d take it from there. Josslyn introduced herself to Professor Dalton, who wasn’t impressed that today was her first day in class after being away on a graduate trip to Easter Island. He suggested Emma apply to be his summer intern. Amy interrupted Elizabeth and the Spencers’ Scrabble game saying it was time for Elizabeth’s nap. Rick questioned Molly’s trust in Kristina. Molly said this time was different. “Because now we know what we stand to lose.” Dante said he was proud of Kristina. Alexis arrived at the Jerome Gallery and told Ava she was getting exactly what she wanted: She arranged for the funds to be transferred to a Swiss bank account where they would be transferred to Ava’s account in installments. By July, Ava would have every penny of her divorce settlement. But Ava told Alexis her divorce settlement wasn’t all she wanted. Trina told Kai if he wanted to have the surgery, she’d have his back. Lulu told Lucky if Amy wasn’t a good fit, he could do it. Gio told Lois he was playing at the Nurses Ball. Chase told Brook Lynn if he decided to perform at the Nurses Ball he’d need a very hands-on producer. Ava told Alexis she was just giving her the money that was hers. So, she wanted compensation for her pain and suffering. Before Alexis left the gallery, Ava warned her price would skyrocket if Alexis didn’t keep a leash on her daughter. Rick received a text from Ava: $$$. Emma told Josslyn she needed to prove the rest of the semester she was the right person for the job.

Wednesday

Amy (Risa Dorken) insisted Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) go upstairs and get some rest. “Thanks Amy, I can take it from here” Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) said. Laura (Genie Francis) was at the courthouse giving a statement about the esplanade. Jenz (Carlos Rota) came to the solarium and spoke with Tracy (Jane Eliott). Diane (Carolyn Henessy) arrived at Sonny’s house and introduced Marco (Adrian Anchondo) as the newest associate of Miller & Davis. Sonny (Maurice Benard) asked Marco why he isn’t using his father’s last name. “Jenz Sidwell, that’s your father right?” Amy vowed to Lucky she wasn’t going anywhere until Elizabeth was completely well. Elizabeth sent a text: 911 HELP. Laura explained about the referendum calling for a public vote. Councilman Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) asked Mayor Collins whether the public had a right to know Piers 55 and 56 were owned by Port Charles mob boss Sonny Corinthos. Marco said he didn’t think putting his father’s name on his application was needed and hadn’t known his father made such an impression already. Marco left when Sonny asked to speak with his lawyer alone. Diane apologized and said she could fire Marco. But Sonny said he had a better idea. Jenz asked Tracy who she’d rather be rid of…him or Sonny Corinthos? Lucas (Van Hansis) arrived at the Webber house because of Elizabeth’s text. She asked him as a doctor to tell Amy the hospital needed her. When Amy returned to the room, Lucas told Amy GH needed her. Amy asked who would take care of Elizabeth. “I will,” Lucky said. Sonny asked Jason to have a friendly conversation with Marco. After Jason left, Diane again apologized. But Sonny commented that knowledge is power. Jenz asked Tracy to use her majority vote to rid Deception of Sonny Corinthos. Councilman Boyle asked Deputy Mayor Ashford whether Jordan (Tanisha Harper) agreed with her boss. Jordan refused to participate in a public debate. But added that out of respect for Mayor Collins she was resigning effective immediately. Amy made Lucky and Elizabeth promise to text if they needed her before leaving. Jenz suggested Tracy use his zincide shipment as leverage to get rid of Sonny Corinthos. Tracy told Jenz she didn’t trust him anymore then she trusted Sonny. Diane receives a news alert about the referendum vote. Jordan said she wasn’t taking questions then walked away. Anna (Finola Hughes) followed and told Jordan her resignation was a mistake. Curtis (Donnell Turner) apologized to Laura because the referendum was his idea. Drew (Cameron Mathison) interrupted and commented he was glad Laura came around to his way of thinking. Lucky told Elizabeth taking care of him was part of his master plan. Sonny told Diane he wanted her to put together a defense team, including the best real estate attorneys to fight. But Diane told Sonny this was a clear case of ‘You can’t fight City Hall.’ Laura accused Drew of allowing his feud with Jason and Sonny to cloud his judgement. Marco was surprised to learn Jason, not Diane, was the one who wanted to see him. “Diane’s my lawyer too…and I’ve got some questions for you” Jason told Marco. Jenz told Tracy he’s sure she’ll conclude the benefits of a partnership with him far outways one with Sonny Corinthos. Diane told Sonny if the people of Port Charles vote to seize his piers, there wasn’t any legal way out of it. And he may have to find another way to do business. Anna and Curtis discussed Jordan’s decision to resign. “Mayor Collins’ career is tanking and the rats are about to jump ship” Drew told Ezra. Jordan handed in her letter of resignation. They both wished each other good luck. “Good Luck to all of us,” Laura said after Jordan left her office. Jason warned Marco he was watching him. Lucas entered Miller & Davis. Lucky and Elizabeth played Scrabble. “I’m just trying to get a straight answer out of your friend here” Jason told Lucas, commenting maybe he’ll have better luck. Drew suggested Ezra run against Laura in the next election. And if he’s elected mayor, Ezra will continue to do what Drew says. Diane told Sonny it was time for him to step out of the shadows and be the city’s benefactor as he’s always been. Jenz called Jordan about her resignation and suggested they talk about her future.

Thursday

Curtis (Donnell Turner) found Jordan (Tanisha Harper) packing her things and said he wanted to hear the truth about why she resigned. Sonny (Maurice Benard), Olivia (Lisa LoCierco), Lulu (Alexa Havins) and Donna were getting ready to celebrate Dante’s (Dominic Zamprogna) birthday. Rocco (Finn Carter) told Dante he was worried about grandma. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Carly (Laura Wright) that Mac (John J. York) needed her help. Alexis (Nancy Grahan) returned to Miller & Davis. Lucas (Van Hansis) was surprised when Marco (Adrian Anchondo) announced “Jenz Sidwell is my father.” Chase (Josh Swickward) told Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) he wasn’t in the right headspace for a party. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) needed a tire change and Cody (Josh Swickward) literally arrived on horseback. Chase told Brook Lynn how much he really wanted to be a father. Felicia asked Carly to talk with Sonny and convince him not to fight it if the people vote to take away his piers. Cody offered to change Molly’s tire. Curtis said the only time Jordan acts out of character is when she’s undercover. Alexis reminded Marco about lies of omission. When Lois (Rena Sofer) entered with Gio (Giovanni Mazza), Lulu thought about when she found Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) legal pad with notes about Brook Lynn having a child with Dante. Sonny overheard Rocco telling Dante the only way the press wouldn’t have a field day with his grandma’s connection to his grandpa would be if grandpa didn’t come to his debate. Cody said on to Plan B when he saw Molly had a punctured tire. Marco reminded Alexis the firm’s biggest clients, Sonny Corinthos and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were charged with crimes where his father wasn’t. Felicia asked Carly whether Sonny no longer owning the piers might be better for Carly’s family in the long run. Sonny told Rocco he wouldn’t come to his debate and asked Dante to tape it. Lucas interrupted Carly and Felicia and asked Carly whether Jason was gunning for Marco. Meanwhile, Marco reminded Alexis how she distances herself from the Cassadines in order to be judged on her own merits. Jordan told Curtis she didn’t want to jeopardize them being friends. “So please Curtis…let this go.” Brook Lynn told Chase she didn’t think she’d ever deserve him. Chase said he was ready to talk about the future, adding he wanted to raise a child with her. Everyone sang Happy Birthday to Dante, who commented he was lucky to have a family who cared about him. “Let’s have some cake,”Lois said. Chase and Brook Lynn decided on adoption. Lucas told Carly that Jenz Sidwell was Marco’s father. Lulu handed Lois a slice of cake. Lois talked about how generous Sonny has always been to Gio. Curtis told Jordan he respected her right not to tell him. “Just know my understanding comes with a price,” Curtis told Jordan. “I just know there’s a kid out there who’s meant for us…it doesn’t matter how old they are,” Chase told Brook Lynn. “After Brad the last thing I want is another man I can’t trust,” Lucas told Carly. “I love my father. I just hope that you’ll judge me on my own merits” Marco told Alexis. Molly agreed to a ride on the horse. Grabbing her briefcase, she told Cody she couldn’t leave it because it contained court documents. Sonny wouldn’t let Dante tell Olivia the real reason he couldn’t attend Rocco’s debate. Cody promised Molly he wouldn’t let the horse gallop. Curtis told Jordan he was there if she needed him. Lucas laughed that Carly was doing with him and Marco what she hoped he’d do with her and Jack (Chris L. McKenna). Alexis told Marco at some point he’d have to choose the life he made for himself over his father. Danny told Rocco it was probably better that his grandfather wasn’t coming to the debate. Gio talked about mother having a gig in California which was why he was born in San Francisco.

Friday

Donna told Carly (Laura Wright) that everybody was going to be at Rocco’s debate “Except for Daddy…daddy’s going to be home with me.” Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) asked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) what she did to strain her leg a second time. Anna (Finola Hughes) and Emma (Braedyn Bruner) were at GH for Emma’s court mandated community service. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) assured Emma she would keep her busy. Lucy (Lynn Herring) told Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) that Deception’s wrinkle cream was flying off the shelf because of their white knight at Wyndemere. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) reviewed Jenz’s (Carlos Rota) generous job offer but asked “What do you expect me to do for you?” Jason (Steve Burton) was at Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) side during her sonogram. Jason asked Sasha whether she had a birth plan in place. “Do you mind if you send one of those pictures to Michael so he can see the baby’s progress?” Jason asked Sasha. “Why would you do that?” Sasha answered with a question. Josslyn lied she injured her ankle hiking on Easter Island. Felicia told Anna that Mac (John J. York) was worried about the referendum. She asked Anna why ADA Turner was gunning for her. Josslyn told Emma she loved the new look when Emma appeared dirty and with trash in her hair. Jordan told Jenz he couldn’t pay her enough to renew a friendship with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Carly asked Sonny (Maurice Benard) whether missing Rocco’s debate had anything to do with Laura (Genie Francis). Sasha asked Jason whether she could think about Michael seeing the sonogram photo. Before he left the exam room, Sasha said she was glad he came. Jordan told Jenz she would have her lawyer look over the offer. Lucy entered, explaining Jenz’s butler let her in. “What are you doing here?” Lucy asked Jordan. Sonny told Carly his friendship with Laura was a liability for her. “If you really want to help Laura, you need to get out of her way” Carly told Sonny. Emma told Josslyn she was there because it was her community service. After Emma walked away, Josslyn saw Professor Dalton (Daniel Goddard) getting off the elevator carrying a suitcase. Carly told Sonny if he fights the referendum, it could ruin Laura’s re-election. “If I let this go and I don’t lift a finger, they’re gonna think I’m weak and you know how dangerous that can be” Sonny told Carly. Jenz told Lucy that Jordan was going to work for him. But Jordan reminded she hasn’t said yes yet. After Jordan left, Lucy gave Jenz a jar of wrinkle cream from the first batch they manufactured. Lucy told Jenz that their CFO was coming by. Jenz commented how Natalia (Eva LaRue) has always had a good head for business then revealed she was his ex-wife. Olivia told Sasha she was well on her way of becoming a true Quartermaine. Felicia told Anna she would never cover for Jason. But she did give him special treatment. Jason came to Maxie’s office and told Maxie and Brook Lynn that Natalia was Jenz Sidwell’s ex-wife. Felicia told Anna that Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) absence was more important that Laura stay in office. When Natalia entered, Lucy questioned Natalia why she didn’t say anything about Jenz being her ex-husband. Jenz told Lucy nothing has changed, except they can now be honest with each other. Maxie said she wasn’t working with Sidwell anymore, no matter what Sasha says. Jason was surprised Sasha said the whole kidnapping was because of Holly (Emma Samms). Jason left the office. Olivia shared the note Tracy (Jane Eliott) wrote her when she married Ned (Wally Kurth) welcoming her and Leo into the family. She told Sasha that Sasha earned her place in the family. Josslyn followed and saw Professor Dalton opened a door for Lab Personnel Only. Sonny told Carly he had a problem with his heart. Professor Dalton left the lab and Josslyn followed. Anna told Maxie and Brook Lynn that Lucy Coe was the one reason they shouldn’t severe tides with Sidwell. After Lucy left, Natalia told Jenz that Sonny knew they were married. Sonny told Carly that Natalia knew about his heart condition after finding him during one of his attacks. “You trust her?” Carly asked. “Not anymore,” Sonny answered. Jordan came to GH and told Isaiah about her new position as COO for Sidwell. “You can’t be serious,” Isaiah said. Josslyn sent a text to Vaughn (Bryce Durfee): Spotted r friend from school. Fill you in later. Anna told Maxie and Brook Lynn to carry on as though nothing’s wrong and she would take care of it. Emma told Felicia she had to throw the trash from the children’s art class in the dumpster before it leaked. “What you and I have, it has to end” Jordan told Isaiah. “Why’d you sell out to Sidwell?” Jason asked Sasha. Natalia told Jenz how Sonny severed their professional relationship when he found out they were married. Jenz questioned Natalia why she went to Los Angeles with Sonny Corinthos. Jenz also told Natalia he’s the only one who can help her at Deception. Carly told Sonny “I’m going with you to Los Angeles. And I’m going to be with you through the surgery.” After he promised to help her have a closer relationship with their son, Natalia told Jenz that Sonny needed open heart surgery.
