A weekly column highlighting the Port Charles happenings during the past week on General Hospital. Read below to find out what you missed or to refresh your memory in time for next week.

Monday

At The Metro Court Pool, Gio (Giovanni Mazza) told Emma (Braedyn Bruner) he’d work around the clock if he could. “Anything to get my mom off Sonny” Gio said. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) was also at The Metro Court Pool and apologized to Carly (Laura Wright) for not spending more time with her, adding ever since Kristina (Kate Mansi) and the fire she’s been reminded about how fragile life can be. Anna (Finola Hughes) came to see Jenz (Carlos Rota) and said she needed answers about his involvement in Natalia Ramirez’s death. Sonny (Maurice Benard) told Laura (Genie Francis) there may be a way to contain the damage. Michael (Rory Gibson) told Sasha (Sofia Mattson) there was an incident with Wiley at The Metro Court involving Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) that really upset him. Rocco (Finn Carter) told Lulu (Alexa Havins) he wanted to know about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Theibauld). “Is it true that you didn’t give birth to me she did?” Rocco asked. Lulu said she was calling his dad. But Rocco told her to tell him what’s going on. “Is Britt my real mother?” Rocco asked. Carly assured Josslyn the family was safe, happy and healthy and she was grateful for that and her. Josslyn saw Vaughn (Bryce Durfee) and Carly said she could go talk to him. “I’m done with being in the dark Emma. I just want to know who Sonny really is” Gio said. Emma suggested he go ask someone. Cody (Josh Kelly) realized Sasha was still a little freaked out over the things that happened. Carlos told Anna if she was looking for answers she should look towards Sonny. Laura refused to back away from a fight or her friends when they needed her. As Laura and Sonny hugged, Ezra (Daniel Goddard) entered the PCPD with his cellphone recording the embrace. Michael and Brook Lynn talked about people using kids. Brook Lynn told Michael she considered going after Lulu through Rocco. When Dante (Dominic Zampogna) arrived, Lulu told him Rocco had questions about Britt. Sasha assured Cody it’s just been all the changes happening at once. “That kiss never happened,” Vaughn said. “What kiss?” Josslyn said. Gio approached Carly and said he needed to ask her questions about Sonny. Laura ordered an officer to make sure the video was removed from Ezra’s deleted folder then ordered him to get that jackass out of her side. Brook Lynn asked Cody how long he planned not to speak with her. Lulu and Dante assured Rocco that they would tell him everything and said it didn’t change anything. “Yeah it does” Rocco said. “We’re here for you for whatever you want to know” Lulu told Rocco. Jenz told Anna about Sonny confiding in Natalia about his heart condition. So perhaps he went after her for what he felt was her disloyalty. Anna didn’t want any assurances from Jenz then left. Cody told Brook Lynn she put him in the middle by not telling him the truth about her baby. Lulu and Dante told Rocco how Britt stole one of their embryos. “Is Tracy wrong? Or am I blind?” Gio asked Carly. She told him it was complicated and how Sonny had to make some tough decisions and was pulled into a life he wasn’t ready for. Josslyn told Vaughn about Emma starting an organization SAAC (Students Against Animal Cruelty). Vaughn told Josslyn a story about the death of his childhood dog when he was fourteen. A love of animals would give Vaughn a way in and Josslyn told him that she was the trigger that would set Emma off. Noticing Emma watching, Vaughn and Josslyn staged an argument and breakup. After Michael put Daisy into her sleep sack, Sasha told Michael it made her believe they’d work out as Daisy’s parents. At GH, Anna received an envelope. “Is that my mother’s autopsy report?” Marco (Anthony Anchondo) asked. “It is,” Anna answered. “Please… I need to know how she died,” Marco said. Emma brought a drink to Vaughn and they talked about Josslyn. Cody and Brook Lynn talked it through and agreed to forgive each other. They hugged it out. Rocco asked Lulu and Dante whether they’d use those embryos if Britt Westbourne hadn’t stolen him. “You guys didn’t want me,” Rocco said. Vaughn told Emma how much he cared about animal rights and wanted to get involved with SAAC. Vaughn said the round was on him as they went to talk about him joining SAAC. Josslyn watched from the sidelines. Gio decided to talk to Sonny’s son Michael about him. Anna told Laura and Sonny that the autopsy report revealed Natalia (Eva LaRue) died from a lethal dose of drugs and alcohol and as there was no evidence of force, her death was ruled an accident. Lulu and Dante assured Rocco they wanted him and he was loved beyond measure. Rocco told his parents how Danny found a file with Brook Lynn’s Deception stuff that had his name on it and the two birth certificates inside. Rocco told them he had to go to his room to process everything but assured he wasn’t mad but just wished he’d heard it from them. After Rocco went upstairs, Dante asked Lulu whether he could stick around in case Rocco needed him. Lulu said he could because there was something she needed to do. Lulu told Dante she wouldn’t let Brook Lynn get away with it. “She came for our son. Not on my watch” Lulu told Dante and left. Cody, Sasha, Michael and Brook Lynn talked about Fourth of July last year. Sasha went to check on Daisy when she heard her daughter on the baby monitor. Emma linked her arm in Vaughn’s when she noticed Josslyn looking at them. Sasha came to the nursery and found her daughter’s crib empty. Laura walked Sonny out of the PCPD and they watched the fireworks briefly before going their separate ways. Marco told Jenz his mother’s death was ruled an accident. Jenz assured Marco the police may have dropped the matter but they wouldn’t. Rocco left his room and watched the fireworks with Dante, who said Danny wasn’t at fault for this. When Cody and Michael went to get more drinks, Lulu angrily confronted Brook Lynn and said it was unforgivable that she hurt Rocco. Then, Lulu slapped Brook Lynn.

Tuesday

Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) found Daisy missing from her nursery. Lulu (Alexa Havins) slapped Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and confronted her for using her son to get back at her. Rocco (Finn Carter) told Jason (Steve Burton) he wanted to know everything about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Theibauld). “Mom’s death is on me,” Marco (Anthony Anchondo) told Jenz (Carlos Rota. Rick (Rick Hearst) interrupted Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Portia (Brooke Kerr) celebrating the Fourth of July at The Metro Court. Kristina (Kate Mansi) worried Alexis (Nancy Grahan) felt differently about her after she tried to kill Ava (Maura West). Nina (Cynthia Watros) came to the Jerome Gallery and told Ava she hoped something would happen to talk Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) out of marrying Drew (Cameron Mathison). Sasha panicked when she didn’t find Daisy downstairs. At the PCPD, it was obvious Mac (John J. York) was trying to play matchmaker when he sang Cody’s (Josh Kelly) praises to Molly (Kristen Vaganos). Ava told Nina the morning of the custody hearing Rick wasn’t working on the case, he was with Elizabeth. Rick asked Elizabeth to the Port Charles Symphony to hear pieces by Gershwin. He received a call and had to leave. “But you knew her…what was Britt really like?” Rocco asked Jason. Brook Lynn called Lulu a hypocrite when she said she and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) deserved to tell their son the truth. Sasha told Michael someone took Daisy and she was gone. Nina told Ava if Rick was cheating on her she should get rid of her. Nina told Ava that marrying Drew would be the biggest mistake of Willow’s life. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) tried to pull matchmaker Mac away from Molly. But then Mac was told of a possible child abduction. Jenz told Marco he shouldn’t waste time blaming himself when they both knew Sonny Corninthos was responsible for his mother’s death. Alexis told Kristina that she gave into Rick’s blackmail for both of them and loved her unconditionally. Rick came to the Jerome Gallery to confront Ava about throwing money around that she’s not supposed to have. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCierco) came home and Sasha told them someone took Daisy. Rocco told Jason he couldn’t be mad at Britt because without her he wouldn’t have been born. “Face it Lulu, I didn’t hurt your kid you did that all on your own by withholding the truth from him” Brook Lynn said. Ava confronted Rick about being with Elizabeth and not Beecher’s Corners. Portia questioned Elizabeth about Rick. But Elizabeth said she knew better than to ever get involved with Rick again. Nina interrupted and asked whether they’ve seen Willow. Gio (Giovanni Mazza) interrupted Lulu and Brook Lynn. “We were fighting about what Brook Lynn did to your brother Rocco” Lulu said. Sasha was relieved when Olivia found Daisy in the bassinet downstairs. Alexis and Kristina talked about the plan to use Cody to break up Ava and Rick. Cody arrived at the Jerome Gallery to help hang the shelves for the Joel Sartore show. Rick left but assured Ava he wouldn’t miss the show. Mac took a call and told Molly and Felicia the missing child had been found. Felicia tried to signal to Mac when he suggested the four of them have dinner together sometime. Jenz told Marco that Natalia (Eva LaRue) sealed her fate when she showed up at the christening. Sasha insisted to Olivia her mind and hormones didn’t make her believe someone took Daisy. Elizabeth told Portia that Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) had proposed to her before leaving town. Jason told Rocco that having him changed her. Jason told Rocco that if Britt saw him now, she’d be proud of how he turned out. “You used my son to hurt me. I will never forgive you for that” Lulu told Brook Lynn then left. Brook Lynn tried to convince Gio that none of that was true. Gio asked Brook Lynn what the point was of digging up about Rocco’s birth. Lulu was surprised when she came home and found Jason at her house. “Jason, what are you doing here?” Lulu asked. Olivia suggested to Michael that Sasha talk with someone to get ahead of it if it was postpartum. Rick was surprised to see Kristina at Alexis’ house. After Molly left the PCPD, Mac told Felicia that Molly could be what Cody needed to keep him on track. Cody kissed Ava. Portia told Elizabeth that she was a fighter and would fight through the rough patches of her marriage. Marco and Jenz vowed they’d make sure Sonny wouldn’t get away with Natalia’s death. After Rick left, Alexis was impressed Kristina stuffed her feelings for the purpose of a future goal. Ava told Cody they must never kiss again. Jason told Lulu that he told Rocco the truth based on his experience with Britt. Gio said walking away from Brook Lynn was the right decision and he’d never make the mistake of coming back to the house again. Michael told Chase (Josh Swickward) he’d do whatever he could to keep Daisy safe. Willow lied to Nina that traffic and losing track of time when she was talking on the phone with Drew was why she was late. But it was revealed that Willow was the one who took Daisy out of the nursery.

Wednesday

At the Metro Court Pool, Drew (Cameron Mathison) and Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) enjoy a swim and discuss Kai’s trip to DC. Drew remarks he wanted Kai to meet the staff. Kai is impressed with the staff’s willingness to think outside the box. Drew calls the staff “the best in the business.” Kai thanks Drew again for the internship. Drew appreciates Kai for giving him the heads-up on Curtis’ (Donnell Turner) plans to ambush him. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) informs Curtis that per Curtis’ instructions, Jacinta was located in Sydney and that Felicia and her contact convinced Jacinda to return to Port Charles within 24 hours. Ava (Maura West) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) discuss the upcoming exhibit. Trina is amazed at how well Ava has transformed the gallery. Ava appreciates the compliment, telling Trina that she did have a little help from a friend. Cody (Josh Kelly) comes to Alexis’ (Nancy Grahan) house and tells Kristina (Kate Mansi) he overplayed his hand last night and now there’s probably zero chance to get her away from Rick (Rick Hearst). Rick comes to GH and asks Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) “What are you doing tonight?” Carly (Laura Wright) confronts Willow (Katelyn MacMuellen) and tells her she wouldn’t get away with what she did. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) told Michael (Rory Gibson) after what happened last night she wouldn’t be letting her baby out of her sight ever again. Jason (Steve Burton) told Sonny (Maurice Benard) two of Selina Woo’s (Lydia Look) associates were fished out of the river last night. Cody told Kristina about kissing Ava and her slapping him. Kristina thought it was interesting Ava asked him to stay and hang the photos. “Maybe you’re not as off your game as you think” Kristina said. Ava told Trina her financial situation has impressed so she’s free to splurge. Rick asked Elizabeth to the Joel Santore exhibit. Carly threatened to ban Willow from The Metro Court. Lucas (Van Hansis) pulled Carly away and asked her a huge favor “I need you to protect Marco from Sonny.” Lucas told Carly since Sonny’s daughter was trapped in the fire, it’s only natural he’d go after Sidwell’s (Carlos Rota) son. Jason questioned whether the fire at the penthouse and the one at Charlie’s was done by the same person. Sonny and Jason realized there may be a threat on two fronts, which would make it harder to protect their families. Cody told Kristina there was more to Ava than he originally thought. Ava assured Trina her parents were capable people and could work through the problems they were facing. Jordan (Tanisha Harper) interrupted Curtis and Felicia. After Felicia left, Jordan commented how Portia (Brooke Kerr) wanted to send her a message to stay out of her marriage. And although she disagreed with her tactics, she’s absolutely right. Drew told Kai he had a plan to stop Trina’s parents from setting him up. “I just hope it works,” Drew said. “You think I’m crazy, don’t you?” Sasha asked Michael. Jordan told Curtis about Portia throwing an ice tea on her. “All I want or need is your friendship…promise” Rick assured Elizabeth. Molly (Kristen Vaganos) entered her mother’s house in time to hear Kristina talking about keeping a secret. Ava and Trina talked about Kai and Rick and how lucky they were to have them. Kai told Drew it was better he owed up to his actions in telling Drew about Curtis’ plan. Drew was happy when Willow arrived. After Kai left, Willow told Drew that Carly was threatening to ban her from the pool. Michael assured Sasha he didn’t doubt her and believed everything she said. Sasha told Michael she and Daisy had to move immediately. Lucas told Carly if Sonny went after Sidwell’s son it would trigger an all out war which would be bad for everyone. Willow told Drew that Michael not only had Wiley and Amelia but Daisy and her arms were empty. Sasha told Michael the only way she could ensure their daughter’s safety was to get them out of Port Charles. Sonny felt badly for how things turned out for Natalia (Eva LaRue). Cody told Molly about going to a showing at the Jerome Gallery. After Cody left, Molly was surprised Kristina didn’t say anything against Ava. Molly told Kristina about seeing Cody with Ava at the pool. Kristina asked Molly whether she wanted to be more than friends with Cody. After Trina left the gallery, Cody apologized to Ava for kissing her. Jordan told Curtis she didn’t want to be responsible for their marriage falling apart. Lucas told Elizabeth he hoped certain people would see Marco (Anthony Anchondo) as a hero for saving Kristina. Sonny told Jason he had to send Sidwell a message “You come after my child, your child will pay.” Which was bad for Marco. Elizabeth told Lucas how Rick asked her to go to the showing at Ava’s gallery. Rick brought Ava flowers and gave her a check to use for the gallery. He told her he hated they fought yesterday. “I do appreciate a man who knows how to apologize,” Ava told Rick as Cody watched. Felicia returned to Curtis’ office and told him Jacinda was gone. Kai was outside Curtis’ office door and heard him wonder how Drew found out what he was planning. Sasha wanted to go into hiding with Daisy. But Michael told her he couldn’t let her do that. Carly came to Sonny’s house and told him “I’m here to stop another one of our children from being killed.”

Thursday

Ava (Maura West) told the exhibit guest how happy she was Joel Sartore (himself) was there to show them of the fragile, magical creatures they share the world with. At The Metro Court Pool, Ezra (Daniel Cosgrove) gave Drew (Cameron Mathison) a folder and told him it was everything he needed to land a very public hit against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his good friend the mayor. “Martin, are you in some sort of trouble?” Laura (Genie Francis) asked Martin (Michael E. Knight). Lucas (Van Hansis) gave Marco (Anthony Anchondo) Natalia’s (Eva LaRue) personal belongings. Marco said he knew Sonny was responsible for his mother’s death. Sonny refused to argue with Carly (Laura Wright) about retaliation against Sidwell (Carlos Rota). Michael (Rory Gibson) told Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) she and Daisy couldn’t leave without him. At GH, Portia (Brooke Kerr) told Stella (Vernee Watson) Curtis (Donnell Turner) hasn’t shared his schedule with her. Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) was outside Curtis’ office door and heard him wonder how Drew found out what he was planning. Felicia (Kristina Wagner) left when Kai knocked on the door asking Curtis whether he had a minute. “I’m the one who warned Drew,” Kai told Curtis. Joel Sartore thanked everyone for coming. Rick (Rick Hearst) watched as Cody (Josh Kelly) told Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) to look at photos. Laura warned Martin if he chose to go to work with Tracy (Jane Eliott), no one would win. Michael called Jason (Steve Burton) and said he needed his help with something and asked Jason to meet him at the boathouse. Portia told Stella she and Curtis were going through a rough patch. Drew interrupted Kai and Curtis’ conversation. Curtis told Kai he’d have to explain to Trina (Tabayana Ali). Cody spilled a drink on Elizabeth and Rick came to her rescue with a napkin. Stella pulled Martin away from Laura to speak with him in private. Ezra and a news crew bombarded Marco with questions whether he believed Sonny was responsible for his mother’s death. Trina thanked Gio (Giovanni Mazza) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for coming. After Kai left to talk with Trina, Drew told Curtis he wasn’t the bad guy. Carly told Sonny he had to find another way to get Sidwell to stand down. “You have to stop the violence before we lose someone else we love” Carly told Sonny. Michael told Jason that Sasha and Daisy had to leave Port Charles. Jason asked Sasha where she wanted to go. Gio overheard Sidwell telling Jordan (Tanisha Harper) how Sonny planned to take Natalia to Belize never to be heard from again. Marco said those responsible for his mother’s death would be held accountable. Ezra asked Laura whether she would join him in condemning Sonny. Drew told Curtis there was one simple thing he could do for him. Emma (Braedyn Bruner) told Josslyn she was headed out to meet Vaughn (Bryce Durfee). Rick pulled Ava away from Cody. Stella warned Martin if he didn’t keep quiet they’d both be in big trouble. Lucas and Laura smirk when Marco said he’d take action against Ezra if he continued to harass him. Carly left when Gio arrived to see Sonny. Gio told Sonny about what he overheard Sidwell saying. But Sonny told him to stay out of it. Michael told Jason he didn’t know how he would do this and miss all Daisy’s firsts. Jason told Michael he’s been in his position and told him none of this was his fault. Rick confronted Ava about her flirting with Cody. Drew told Curtis he wanted Aurora to print a headline going after Sonny. Jordan told Portia about her conversation with Curtis. But Portia wasn’t buying Jordan’s speech. Sonny told Gio he didn’t want him listening to any more of Sidwell’s conversation. Laura told Marco they all had to follow their conscience. “I’m here and I’m not going anywhere,” Lucas assured Marco. Drew smirked as Curtis made a phone call requesting a full media blowout about Sonny. Carly told Josslyn she wanted to see her and tell her how much she loved her and asked her to be careful how she lived her life. Gio hugged Sonny before leaving. Michael told Jason he never thought he’d have to decide so soon on protecting Daisy.

Friday

Anna (Finola Hughes) entered the Brown Dog to meet Felicia (Kristina Wagner). Spotting Emma (Braedyn Bruner) with Vaughn (Bryce Durfee), Anna approached Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson) to be her cover. Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) told Trina (Tabayana Ali) he missed Joel Sartore’s show because he was talking with her father. Curtis (Donnell Turner) told Portia (Brooke Kerr) he missed the show because he was there being blackmailed by Drew (Cameron Mathison). Lulu (Alexa Havins) told Laura (Genie Francis) about Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) coming after Rocco (Finn Carter). Rocco used Spyder-Finder and did a search for Doctor Liesl Obretch. Tracy (Jane Eliott) told Chase (Josh Swickward) his wife was header for disaster and she needed to stop her. Michael (Rory Gibson) found Brook Lynn crying and offered to help. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) entered and demanded “Brook Lynn…Why the hell did you do that to my son?” Lulu told Laura that Brook Lynn wanted to cause maximum damage to her. Tracy told Chase he didn’t know what he was dealing with. Dominic told Michael about Brook Lynn having a file on Britt (Kelly Theibauld) and leaving for Rocco to find. Anna stopped Emma and Vaughn from leaving the Brown Dog Bar. Curtis told Portia about Drew paying Jacinda to bolt because Kai warned Drew. Kai told Trina that he was the one who told Drew what her dad was planning. After receiving a text that Felicia couldn’t make it, Anna grilled Vaughn until he made an excuse about having to use the men’s room. Anna asked Emma whether Vaughn was aware she was using him.

“Okay Dante…that’s enough” Michael said defending Brook Lynn. Tracy told Chase there was no doubt in her mind Brook Lynn was going after Lulu. Laura offered her support to Lulu about what Rocco was going through. Trina was furious that Kai went to her father’s enemy. Curtis told Portia he was not only doing this for Trina but wanted to honor his vows to protect her. Laura assured Lulu that Rocco knew how much she loved him. Brook Lynn told Michael she and Dante needed to work through this alone. Tracy asked Chase whether he would help Brook Lynn go after Lulu. Trina told Kai she wished his sense of loyalty extended to her. Michael came to see Curtis after receiving a text from him. Curtis told him the same headline would stop on all media platforms: DID SONNY CORNITHOS END NATALIA RAMIREZ? Portia joined Isaiah at the Brown Dog Bar. Josslyn (Eden McCoy) stormed into the Brown Dog Bar. After explaining she still had his location on her phone, Josslyn warned Vaughn if she walked out that door they were done. “It’s either me or her,” Josslyn said. Rocco and Laura talked on the front porch. While Lulu listens, Laura explains to Rocco how he was his parents’ miracle. Laura said he never had to question his parents’ love for him. Brook Lynn told Dante she regretted hurting Rocco and this may be the worst thing she’s ever done in her life. Tracy told Chase that Lulu and Brook Lynn would destroy each other if he didn’t help stop it. Trina asked Kai whether he even hesitated when he betrayed her and her family. Curtis told Michael he wasn’t sure if he and Portia had whatever it took to make it through this. Rocco hugged Laura and said she always got it. Brook Lynn told Dante that what she did may help Gio (Giovanni Mazza) give him a chance. Vaughn apologized to Emma and said he was really into Josslyn. Tracy told Chase that Brook Lynn needed to concentrate on building a relationship with his son. Trina told Kai she wasn’t sure whether she wanted to be with him at all. Isaiah told Portia she was a fabulous doctor and wonderful woman. And if her husband didn’t see it, maybe he was the problem. Vaughn and Josslyn kissed to sell they were back together. Anna told Emma she thought it was better if she didn’t get involved with that guy. Isaiah told Portia maybe it was better if she started playing her own game and not Jordan’s (Tanisha Harper). Michael told Curtis to do whatever he had to protect his family. Michael left Curtis’ office to warn his dad about the headline. Trina told Kai she would always choose her family no matter what. “And you will never be family to me,” Trina said. Then, Trina order Kai to get out of the Jerome Gallery. Chase assured Tracy there was nothing Brook Lynn could do to drive him away. Dante told Brook Lynn he knew she made the decision to give Gio up from a place of love. He said he had to believe they’d have a chance to show Gio they loved him. Lulu thanked Laura for talking with Rocco. Laura assured Lulu she could have faith in Rocco. Meanwhile, Rocco was typing an email to Liesl (Kathleen Gati).
